Full Moon in Amber Valley

I phoned up the shop hoping that my order hadn’t left yet as I asked them to send a menu but it had so I asked the delivery driver if he had a menu in his car but he didn’t so he said he’d post one when he was next round here because they are quite alot, I said thanks thinking I bet he won’t, but a couple of hours later somebody posted something so I went to get it and somebody had posted a menu. I thought WOW I Didn’t Think He Would Do It. Just writing a message to say thank you very much for that anyway!!!!

Great food, friendly and speedy service

First time ever in the Belper best take away food I've tasted in a very long time, there was no fat, grease or salt on any of the food we had. The staff are very friendly with great atmosphere and service .Will definitely be back next time we're in the area.

Amazing satay sauce not gloopy , creamy and rich , great consistency with nuts in . Sweet and sour sauce again really good quality and Sweetness. Good beef chow mein, good chicken balls. Good crackers. The chicken fried rice was nice but there was very little chicken. Thank fully we had chicken balls to make up for it.

Our takeaway meal took 1.5 hours! The pancakes and satay was under cooked and the honey sesame was overcooked. We will never use these again. Be aware guys.

This is a GREAT Chinese. I think the others in Belper have gone down the pan recently. Someone recommended it to me, and I'll stick with it for good. Very tasty, not overcooked. Brilliant!

Very good. Tomyum noodles are nice and spicy and the other dishes are very nice. The beef in particular was very good. The people are great. Very helpful . I will be back

Just moved to belper 6 months ago tryied all the takeaways. New full moon is the best in the area the staff are really friendly Steve on front desk is very friendly and always got a smile. You can smell the freshness of the food being cooked by the Malaysian chefs when you arrive . 10/10 on flavour and freshness. Fav dish. Crispy chilli chicken. And if we have a delivery. It’s fast and the driver is really friendly and happy go lucky chap. Keep it up new full moon

The service and delivery was good but the food was bland and and tasteless. The sauce was watery Rather disappointing meal.

Quick and quality food, value for money, cater for "special needs" (no meat but extra cashew in foo young) easy banter and even when they do deliver to Denby, very happy to drive out for this. Thank you for the free bottle of Pepsi (even if I'm more of a Dr. Pepper person :-)

Probably the best takeaway I've had in Belper. Fresh and tasty food and none of the fatty salty generic Chinese takeaway stuff you normally get. In fact quite a light meal which was a nice surprise. 4 stars because my da didn't really dig the tofu hoi sin on the grounds it was lacking some oomph but my szechuan was excellent. Nice service and great value for money, will be back!

We have 5 Chinese takeaway's in Belper, tried them all. A couple come close but this is the best in our humble opinion, consistently great food and delivered on time. Just ordering one now.

First time using this take away. 13.6.2020. Family meal. Lovely food, not greasy, tasted fresh and clean. The building is clean with a 5 star hygiene certificate. Kung po with cashew was delishes, chicken and pork chowmein a big hit with my daughter, while the special mushroom was so tasty. This is now our Chinese of choice.

First time visiting this Chinese and we will definitely be back. The food was gorgeous! It was fresh and clean not greasy or gloopy. Really enjoyed it. Kung po King prawns lovely and not too spicy, chowmein delicious and special mushrooms sooooo tasty. Really loved it.

Okay, this is an edit:; To start with the food was really bad. But now it's actually kind of good, not awesome by any means but certainly a decent meal on the fly can be had. Original review was 1 star as it was terrible, huge improvements HAVE been made.

The new owners have done a bang up job of turning this place around. The food is always hot when it arrives and the staff are friendly. They say half an hour to fourty five min but it's almost always here in 20 min. Good job x keep it up x

I have got to be honest here, and it is no doubt that this place is far far better that before, since the new owners have taken over, the quality of the food is spot on, the staff are always friendly and super polite, delivery arrives within the promised time with food piping hot, and it all comes at a very reasonable price. The Head chef and his team are amazing and of course passionate about food. Keep it up guys , thumbs up New Full Moon
