Wonderful, ever changing selection of beers. This pub has a fabulous atmosphere

Great beer cafe with quality ale, stout and cider. Alternatives too. More family oriented in the day than a typical bar - games to play, hot dogs, snacks. Very grown up in the evening. How a local pub should be, but it's not a pub.

Popped in for the first time. Fine choice of ales. Good, friendly service. Didn't eat, but the menu looks like it goes with a pint. I'll try the 🌭 next time. Noisy; but most modern-day pubs and eateries choose to have no soft furnishings so it'll be a weekday for me!

Moderately sterile in the daytime but beer quite good. Cask beer slightly tired, keg beer great.

#2024 update. Same! Have to call out best bar staff ever in my many years brewing and drinking world class beer. LOVE Fuggles. Keep going people. You are trail blazing. Way better sound system and great music to boot which is never loud or intrusive. Nice to see dog friendly. Actively go out of my way to visit and never, ever disappointed # Fabulous. Spotlessly clean. Finally a proper Belgian/ Dutch style cafe in the UK with tons of draught and bottled beers to match. Great ambience. Bigger than it looks from the outside. Instantly one of my favourite places to drink world class beer. And yes they even serve well-priced bottles of Cantillon and the best De Struise have.

Popped in with a group of a Slough Town fans on way to the football. Fantastic bar with an amazing choice of ales. I also had a Jamon sandwich which for me was the best ever toasted cheese sandwich I've had, brilliant service from a great bar guy, probably the owner . Will definitely come back here whether for the football or not !

Great selection of beers, especially with their Dark February specialism. Love the fact that you can get 1/3rd all the way to a pint. Allows for plenty of variety without drinking a ton.

Shame about the toilets being out of service and everyone queuing for the disabled

Can't comment on the food as I didn't know they did food, but i'm sure it would be good. We stopped in for a drink before heading off for our Christmas Golfmates Meal. The atmosphere was pleasant, with plenty of beer choices. A bonus is being able to book a table.

Fabulous day. The team were incredibly accommodating and friendly. Excellent selection of beer cider and wine. Toasties, cheese board and pots of tea were fantastic. Will be returning.

This was my first time at Tonbridge, although I had been to the one in Tunbridge Wells. Same great atmosphere and selection of drinks, the place seems bigger. It was a tad bit too warm. The Mulled cider was fantastic and I wish mulled drinks were a winter occurrence and remained after Christmas. Please keep it on the menu while it's cold, it was lovely!

Great choice of beers and other beverages. It was very busy on a Sunday afternoon but there was a Christmas Market outside. Found the prices a little steep but it was good stuff.

Superb bar with excellent range of cask and keg, ciders, gins and a decent array of bar snacks to absorb that alcohol. My personal favourite is the toasties. The Tonbridge branch is centrally located, with 4 cask beers on and a huge amount of keg beers on in a very broad range of styles. I had a pint of golden and a pint of IPA on cask, both reasonably priced, plus a Hazy IPA, a DDH IPA and an Imperial Stout on keg (all of which were at prices not out of keeping with most London craft bars). The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed and the bar is both child and dog friendly.

Very wide range of beers and ciders (30+) and accurate tasting notes on the blackboard, although I rarely stray beyond the local bitters (Tonbridge Coppernob is noteworthy). Newspapers to browse, board games to enjoy, and a very friendly feel has been created. The staff are knowledgeable about the many drinks on offer and very welcoming - can't praise this place too much.

Shame the staff are more interested in their mobiles and idle chit chat than anything else. The young blond female didn’t show much interest which was a shame but the other female was very polite and chatty, recommended a great ipa which I don’t usually drink. I would love to go back though, didn’t catch the female with the coloured hairs name, she did a great job 👏🏻

Decided to pop in at short notice- we were not disappointed! Many beers/ales/Ciders to choose from- plumped for Sandford Berry Lane and Ascension Pilot (after some tasters)Also had 2 x grilled cheese tasters - wow !!!

Small friendly cafe/bar on the main road, Tonbridge. Simple toasted sarnie, very nice and great selection of ales cask, keg and bottles.

The place is great for beer and has amazing vibes. But it was a member of staff, Ewan (probably spelt that wrong) who made my day. I'd been to see my grandmother in a care home which was pretty depressing. And mentioned it at the bar, Ewan bought me a half pint of the beer I was drinking (which was about 7%) as he knew I was a bit down. I've worked in hospitality for many years, in fine dining restaurants. And it's these human interactions which make a place special.

Chance encounter on our route to watch what turned out to be Dulwich Hamlet getting disappointingly trounced by Tonbridge. This was a good pub/bar/cafe to stop off in. Unexpectedly reminiscent of drink/eat places we’ve been to in Bruges but without the canal or mosquitoes.

The glorious experience of beer drinking is amplified by the range of independent & different beers in Fuggles. It's the joy of doing a thing you know but different. The staff are fun & friendly. Drinking has been an English sport since 1978 when the first fantasy drinking league was started by James Callaghan to encourage camaraderie amongst the classes. The sport is still going & Fuggles is a fine place to indulge in the sport itself. Drink to win

Brilliant place for fans of all kind of beverages with great staff and lovely atmosphere.

Always cute, massive range. Very friendly and has a local bar/pub feel, not too snooty 😜 downside the acoustics aren't great for me the noise is a bit too "rattly" due to the industrial decor style. Toilets down stairs so not very accessible either. Fun on the whole.

Always a joy for the quality of the staff, atmosphere, beer and food -- and now, post-Covid, probably better than ever. The experience of visiting Fuggles is still one to relish and repeat. A joyous place!

Better than its Tunbridge Wells brother, superb range of craft ales, supporters of top UK and worldwide breweries, and beer events. Worth signing up for their special events. Gets busy at obvious times. Friendly knowledgeable team.

Tried 4 beers and a stout, loved all of the beers, stout was an acquired taste. Nice friendly staff, plenty of choice and the toasted sandwiches were fantastic.

Bar far the best place for a drink with friends in Tonbridge. The beers on tap are amazing and really well kept (as you might imagine), go to their twitter account @FugglesTN9 to see what's on tap. Not just brilliant beer, Gins, Whiskys and much more with wonderful service. Don't expect a massive long food menu, after all it is a "beer cafe" and they know what they do well and I love their pickles. Top tip go for their sharing plates if there are enough of you. Can be busy at peak periods, but in a good way. Dogs welcome and there's always one or two enjoying the atmosphere with their owners, and perhaps a beer sausage or two. Update: still fantastic and table service has been continued even after Covid measures have been stopped, which is nice to be able to sit with friends and order from the menu printed daily; it's not the fastest service in the world, relaxed and perfectly suited to the place..

As good as it gets in Kent for beer aficionados. This place is all about beer and very hard to get in UK craft beer scene. Just amazing selections, place and vibe. Must have at this location and Tunbridge Wells. Try the Jule Malt Sout (16.3% ABV) and Anspach 4th Variant IPA (7.4% ABV)

Always has a great selection of drinks. Staff who know their stuff and a good atmosphere. Something new to try every time you go. Clean airy and friendly. A great example of a modern pub.

Work local, good beer now at surpringly reasonable prices for proper craft beer post covid when you seem to pay almost as much for a pint mass produced stuff. Staff always friendly and helpful its just a shame it doesn't have a nice outdoors space during the summer have larkins on the pumps more often.

Came here Christmas eve, it was okay. An okay selection of drinks more ales/larger than cider. Some of the staff were a bit abrupt/rude

Took my date here for a few drinks before we ate in the Thai. Great for that, hipster atmos. Guys into the ales will love it.

Cosy bar with a trendy, relaxed European feel. Varied selection of beers. Real ale wasn't brilliantly kept but the keg was very good. Well worth popping in.

Have missed this bar / snack food bar, great for school groups, couples and just dropping by for a rink after work. The gin selection is extensive and very knowledgeable staff.
