Best fish and chips I have had in a long while. Had the Haddock so well cooked the batter was delish and I don't usually bother to eat the batter.

Tasty food, good prices and service is always quick.

The food was very good and freshly cooked but it's not cheap , where I use to go there every week now it's only on special occasions which is a shame

Moved to the area recently and popped in for fish due to high ratings. Nice system of receiving an order number and waiting outside to be called in. Parking in front is convenient. The cod bites were nice and the chips were lovely and crispy.

Ok & fish nice. I think we got the wnd of a batch of chips as they were'nt great.

Amazing Cod, pure white fish perfectly cooked with thin crispy batter. Very generous size with proper chips. Always freshly cooked food and the staff are friendly and polite. Sensibly priced. Highly recommended.

Awesome Fish 'n' Chips!! Usually go else where as Chipping Sodbury based but was in passing and gave Frydays a shot... Lovely, moist and well cooked fish, chips very nice (eat a few as not a great fan potatoe but extremely nice)... You have a new regular customer and will be recommending all my friends to you!! We been to this popular busy chip shop a few times . Lovely fish and chips,piping hot and freshly cooked . Generous portions and reasonably priced . Wort a visit when you are in the area .

Lots of chips and fish is not too greasey

Have to say I was disappointed this afternoon. Fish was dry and overcooked a microwaved pasty still in the wrapper. What's gone on with this place it used to be so nice . It's really declined won't be back in a hurry 😕

Just been in and there was a young lady who works for the NHS ambulance service she went to pay for her food and Frydays gave her 50% off which was a very nice gesture. We'll done Frydays.

Great place for takeaway food only like fish and chips or ,pie,chicken,sausage,with or without chips ,it is not a restaurant, but serves good food and is very popular.

Excellent service beautiful fish & chips

I am a regular customer due to the excellent value for money. One day it was raining causing the paper bag my food was in to split causing it to spill all over the road. It was my lunch and I was hungry so I went back fully prepared to pay for another meal, however the staff replaced it for me free of charge. Excellent customer service!

Big chip potions, quick service and the right amount of salt and vinegar for my taste. Only not giving 5 stars as they don't a offer gluten free batter option.

Wow nice food shame about service 😒 when you are medical exempt and saying you have to wear a face mask but you stop breathing wearing a face mask 😷 I be going somewhere else for food . Lost a customer.

Smells like my ex misses. 10/10 Cod was a bit hot but atleast it didn't get childline on me.

Has there been a change in management. It was always exceptional. Today well batter soggy. Cod old.. plaice had a strong taste.. no we didn't take it back . It's in the food waste. If they want to collect it. It was supposed to be a birthday treat ..had a good bottle of wine with it . That's is the only reason it wasn't returned . Next time we will go somewhere else

Excellent fish and chips and quick service

I come here once a week for my lunch. Service is always friendly and quick, food is good value for money. On my most recent trip my carrier bag unfortunately split spilling my food on to the road, 8 went back full prepared to pay but the replaced the food I had lost free of charge. Really appreciate it, you have yourself a loyal customer in me now!

All the staff in there are rude! They all look at the customers in a funny way and speak underneath there breath I find this very rude! Also they over charged me by £10! Spoke to the person on the till they didn’t want to know and didn’t believe us, also the food isn’t that great! Never again!!

This establishment is my daughters favourite end of the week takeaway treat. Very friendly staff and high standards of hygiene. Wouldnt go anywhere else

The food wasn't great :( We had takeaway but ate it straight away in car and it was all soggy. The grease was dripping through the cardboard box. The bread rolls tasted like they were toasted on the same grill as the burgers. I found a white hair in the chips too. (Not mine!) We couldn't eat most of it which was a waste of money. Staff not particularly friendly either.

Have used Fridays for years and never had a bad meal. The fish is always fresh and tasty, the batter crispy and the chips lovely and plentiful. The service is always quick and I've never had to wait long.

Seniors (not OAP) portions make so much sense because when you are mature and beautiful you don’t want to eat too much and spoil your waistline and Adonis muscles. Fast and great quality and good customer contact. 👍

Great food, friendly staff, OK pricex

This really is the best fish and chip shop for miles. The chips are amazing and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Great value especially for kids meals too and these are a good size and include a drink.

Best chippy in Yate. Generous portions. Reasonable prices. Never have to wait too long. Can't go wrong with Frydays. Bought from here on countless occasions and never had anything go wrong.

We love Fry Days fish and chips. The batter is always hot and crispy and chips ‘proper job’. Be warned tho the portions are huge! Even the child’s cod bite portions are large so don’t be tempted to over order! We think it’s excellent quality and value for money.

Very disappointed with tonight's fish and chips. This is the 2nd time the food has been poor. Dried up fish and dry chips. Very sad it has got so bad😔

Crispy battered fresh chunky fish, great chips, generous portions, not greasy like some, great price and super friendly and helpful staff. Called ahead and food was ready within 10 mins. Thank you for a delicious supper!
