Have visited this restaurant several time now and have never been disappointed. Service is superb very attentive but not overbearing. The food is always excellent and there is a good variety to choose from.

It was our book club Christmas dinner and we were sat upstairs, on our own. This was fine for us as we discussed our book. A small and cosy place. The food was delicious and staff were very attentive.

We have in the past had lunch here, but never dinner. Definitely not disappointed - delicious! The food is beautifully cooked and presented and the staff are really friendly. Lovely building and French- style decor really add to the ambience. Frou Frou is an independent restaurant to be treasured and supported. It is a real asset for Tiverton. Thoroughly recommended.

What an amazing little find ! We were in the area on holiday for the weekend and did a little Google research on restaurants and was lucky enough to find this little gem. Gorgeous food ! Excellent service ! Unique and comfortable interior ! Locals of Tiverton are very lucky to have Frou Frou on their doorstep and I do hope they all make the most of it . If I lived here this place would be my regular weekly haunt. Just loved it ❤️

Marvellous experience. The Mrs took me for a birthday meal out - the food was excellent- really impressed. I don't drink and she was heavily pregnant so we had soft drinks which were both excellent and not expensive. Overall, fantastic. Definitely be going again!

Down in Tiverton on business. Hotel restaurant was fully booked so went on a wander and found this lovely little restaurant very Reasonable prices with excellent food. Main course of turkey ballottine was delicious and the berry desert was to die for! The host lady was very friendly too. Next time I am in Devon I will be sure to visit again. Thank.you

Great food went for a special 25th anniversary meal with family while on holiday in the area. Staff were so friendly helpful as we had a mixture of dietary requirements n allergies. Didn't affect the food quality at all. Amazing food n choices for all. Vegans, vegetarians, meat eaters n gluten free. Cocktails were great too. Dog friendly what more could u ask for. Loved it.

An excellent restaurant albeit small with adaptable tables. Excellent food and reasonable. My wife loved it and both sets of friends who went with our recommendation also were impressed.

My husband and I had dinner on the ,5th of September and it was absolutely magnificent I can't recommend this beautiful restaurant enough it's one not to be missed what a beautiful evening ❤️

Genuinely really Good. The catch of the day wa sea bream skin. Just crispy enough with salsa Verde sauce on top.. bloody heaven. And the ork tenderloin with chorizo and peppers was awesome. And well..couldn't decide on pud. So ate 3 between us...plum and orange crumble.. who knew But it works! So Good I made it for myself and friend over the weekend! Definitely be back

Very good all round. Great service and cosy, homely surroundings and the food came out in good time. Good steak, great fish (the best fish seasoning I’ve tasted in a long time and your Hake special should be on the main menu), lovely puddings. I’m really happy with it all. I thought the fries could be a lot better, but that’s all. We’ll be back though! See you soon.

Small bistro, good drinks menu. Food menu not as expected but that's my own fault as I didn't realise the online menu was a sample menu. Would have preferred slightly more choice but what I had was delicious and I didn't have to wait very long between courses for meals to arrive.

Froufrou was a very unexpected find! My wife and I were welcomed in and were delighted to discover how tasty our main courses were. Presentation was excellent. My duck was tasty and the dauphinoise was wonderfully presented and flavoured. The dessert courses were imaginative, with the passion fruit brulee velvety smooth and oozing flavour. Looking forward to returning here to test out the rest of the menu.

Me and my girlfriend love coming here, the food and drinks are well worth the money. We come every month because we love it so much.

Excellent food, excellent service

Rated the best restaurant in Tiverton, it certainly lived up to its reputation. The plaice with caper butter sauce was melt-in-the-mouth, and the duck superb. The absolute star was the crime brûlée - best I’ve had! Lovely welcoming staff, too.

Effortless, prompt, attentive and polite service, wanted for nothing. Food was cooked well, good portion and very tasty. Lovely atmosphere, very pretty decor. Would easily visit again and recommend without doubt.

Visited frou frou after wanting to for many years (never managed to book always busy). We weren’t disappointed, a warm welcome very smart and clean looking restaurant. The menu looked great and decisions had to be made to decide what to go for. I must say our mains choices of the pork and duck were superb and an old school ice cream Sunday just finished it off. A special mention must go to their cocktail menu which was superb and not pricey at all. Overall a great experience and we will definitely return.

Absolutely excellent! Kelly, the owner, was both fantastic and funny but also looked after us extreemly well. The food was brilliant. Fully recommended. Go there!

Wife and I had a lovely meal, we shared the starter for two Camenbert with red onion chutney, and both chose the catch of the day Sea Bream in a Cider sauce and vegetables. Both were excellent and the staff were lovely, friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

This is by far the best restaurant in the area. Fantastic food served by friendly knowledgeable Staff. The drinks Menu is superb and again always poured to perfection.

Fortunately managed to get a walk-in table for 2 on a Saturday night. 3 course meal which was absolutely 10/10. Definitely will be back!

Recommended by local friends, we booked early Friday evening. Warm welcome, excellent service, excellent food - we had the wrapped chicken and lamb - beautiful. Highly recommend the Botegas Organic Rioja too.

We have lived in Tiverton for 4years and have always said we would love to go there, as it always looks so busy! Omg I wished we had gone there before! The staff are fantastic and the food is even better! And not too expensive.

We went again last week (early April) and it's been a little while since we were there last. I ordered the lamb chump for a main this time and it was, well, absolutely terrific. Loved it. Good service again and the owner is really lovely and takes pride in her restaurant. Highly recommended. Oh, my wife had the sea bream and loved it too! I only wish I'd taken a photo of my lamb before I'd started it! The ales too are really good here. I think it's fair to say we enjoyed ourselves 😂

I stumbled across this place when I first arrived in Tiverton and the owner was so friendly that I made a booking for food the next night. It did not disappoint. The food was absolutely top notch - their chef is extremely talented. Also, the front of house staff here are charming. They genuinely care about their customers and it really shows through. I hope I can return.

What a gem! I was extremely impressed by their genuine friendly service, I hadn't experienced that level of attentiveness for a long time. The atmosphere made of it a very relaxing experience. I ordered the steak, which was cooked to perfection They have a great selection of desserts and cocktails. I know I will be going there again soon. Highly recommended!

Three of us ate here for a birthday treat. The food was beautifully cooked and the service timely and pleasant. The wine list is limited but with a reasonable choice.

We were given a voucher for Christmas 2021, only just got around to using it and we were so NOT disappointed. Good attentive, but not overbearing, staff. Tasty, flavoursome food, went with good intentions of only having two courses but so impressed with the quality I had dessert and partner had the cheeseboard. Will be going again with guests.

I have dinner with 3 friends and we were all delighted. Great food, lovely ambience and efficient, friendly staff. Three of us had the creme brulee (served in a cup with a saucer !) for dessert. The perfect end to a perfect meal.

We always love our trips to Frou Frou. We have been going for years and have never been disappointed by the food or the service. I need gluten free food and there are always loads of delicious options. They stock a large range of gins, now with lots of West country ones (I am updating this review in Oct 2021). Great little bistro! Friendliest staff ever. Because of unscheduled road closures, we were 40 mins late - of course I let them know. But they kept our table and were charming when we did arrive. Decent menu and the food was delicious and well presented. Then, at the end of meal, I managed to leave my bank card on my seat. The brill waitress came running quite a way after us with it. Really impressed. So we came back again tonight! Highly recommended. ✅

Saturday evening meal: A nice restaurant with with a limited menu, which it classifies as French bistro. Food was nice, although the vegetables weren't great. The food was very good and plentiful and very fresh. Not fine dining, but the atmosphere made up for it. It was recommended and did not disappoint.
