The best coffee pastries and atmosphere in town. Since day one I felt welcomed and well received, as I always belonged and the staff members have been treating as a brother. Friendly environment and great service, I happy to say that is the best coffee shop in Guildford. I became a regular and I will definitely see you guys again soon.

The place is messy, not clean, and I am so amazed people think the prices are good. Coffee is average and their cakes and baklava massively overpriced for low quality average quality.

Just wonderful! Just wanted a coffee and decided to try. Oh, my goodness me...so glad we did. Wonderful selection of Greek food, nibbles; sweet and savoury. Absolutely lovely man (I assume the owner) who explained everything - real attention to detail, with pride a care. We had latte and a tea with baklava and a savoury. Will return - would suggest they do a Greek pastries cookbook (if they don't already!) - I would buy it! Thank you.

There's a reason the seats outside are always full. Like a tiny bit of Greece has been placed down in Guildford. There is a large selection of Greek pastries and treats as well as some quite nice coffee. Perfect place to go if you fancy a café with a unique atmosphere.

One of the best cafe. Such a great service. I been given full info about what sort of cold cafe they do, how they do etc. On the top I have tasted some traditional Greek pastries. Yummy. Truly recommend this place. The service make it most and the café...top. Just to add - popped in 05.11... disappointed

The service here is fantastic, I had a house viewing and the rain at the time was horrible so I ducked in to wait it out. After 30mins of waiting the staff gave me a free drink and pastries. Incredibly kind gesture and when I offered to pay they refused. The pastries were great and the service even better.

Excellent spot for stopping by for a coffee and some nice Greek pastries. We tried the traditional mpougatsa and it was very tasty and remind us of Greece. Definitely a place worth visiting. We travel from Southampton to go there for a coffee and pastries.

We go almost every day and the service and food is always perfect. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to any person visiting or living in guildford as the staff are always looking out for you and they never compromise on the quality of the coffee. Somebody recently said this is the best Greek cafe in Guildford, it is NOT, it is the best cafe bar none in Guildford. It is probably the best Greek cafe outside Athens!! Be in no doubt this is the place to go. Coffee, Greek cakes and everything else we had was simply sublime!! Dimitris and his gang do it like nobody else, the place is bonkers brilliant. Go there for an experience like no other.

As a lover of baklava I decided to try the baklava from this place and I found it to be overpriced for what it was, I paid almost £4 for a slice and I really didn't enjoy it very much, maybe another day I'll give a different pastry another chance but the baklava would not recommend them.

Best coffee place in town! I’ve been going here for years now. Staff are great, very friendly and knowledgeable. They now have dog ice cream so this place is a real treat for all now.

A very nice Greek cafe with the traditional cheese and spinach pastries. Not a lot of places to sit but the pasteries are worth it. A warm pastry with coffee on a rainy day is all what you can ask for!

I only gave this review 5 stars because I cannot give it more ! - this is the best coffee shop in Guildford by quite a large margin. They are so friendly and the food is excellent - now I know why this place is always busy - believe me, it is worth queuing. Why would you go anywhere else ?

Friendly and super helpful staff, I'm so impressed. Coffee was nice, I ordered cold Americano which is pretty great. And had one of the Greek snack "Kataifi", overall was alright but got so many hard shell nut which hard like a rock so.. not gonna order that again but gonna go back for another menu for sure.

I have been longing for great Bougatsa since returning from Corfu six weeks ago and it was practically on my doorstep! The selection of Greek pastries here is incredible and we left with a carrier bag full of greek boxes of joy! A super friendly lady served us and after learning it was our first visit here gave us samples of two of the most popular servings, Bougatsa amd Greek Cheese Pie, two of my favourite Greek pastries, the lady couldnt have picked better things to give me! Both were incredible, great food and service, if you are in Guildford anytime, stop here.

I had lunch here with my sister when visiting my son who is at the uni, and the food was fantastic. I had a delicious spinach and feta filo pastry pie and a lemon syrup cake afterwards. We were given a lovely sweet pastry to sample and my sister ordered this for desert. She said it was the nicest pastry she’d ever had! The tea was good too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I bought some things to bring home and I will definitely go back next time I visit my son in Guildford.

After sending Sheron off to the train station, Leya told me that she wanted to introduce me to a nice coffee shop that sells delicious Greek desserts, pastries & excellent coffee. The coffee shop did not disappoint me at all.It was a quaint shop & we decided to sit outside since it was a little stuffy inside & not much room to move about. I had ordered an Americano but somehow it tasted different. Not sure whether it was the coffee beans that they use or the outdoors that made it taste differently. Whatever it is, I had enjoyed my cup of coffee. The 2 staff behind the counter were friendly, accommodating & easy to talk to. They obviously knew Leya & had struck a conversation with her. When she told them that I was visiting from Malaysia, one of the stuff gave us an additional big plate of dessert which was on the house apart from our order of baklava. I was quite surprised at such hospitality & kindness shown. I truly enjoyed both desserts. Since it was quite a lot, Leya had told them to pack the leftovers. She gave them to husband & son, Chris & James for a late night supper treat. I would definitely visit Fresco DeliKafessen again if I’m in the neighbourhood. There are many more Greek pastries & desserts to treat my tastebuds! Besides, I’m all for reciprocating a good deed indeed. Kudos to the owners! They really know how to differentiate from the rest. Excellence in F&B and of course, great service & hospitality.

Excellent service, a very good selection of tasty bites and traditional greek sweets. Under the current challenging circumstances with the COVID-19 they managed the people waiting very effectively and responsibly, and even treated us to some cream pie while we were waiting to be served.Don't miss it if you're in the area

I went there into the cafe and the atmosphere really rocked my world the people were really freindly, whom can speak really good english. The greek pastries oh my was it delicious it gave me a right shock so i had to order another one with the brilliant coffee beside me. Anything but excellent would be illegal for me.

Just over the Bridge and off Main Street. This is a fantastic little restaurant with loads of vegan and vegetarian options - and all great. Very upbeat music and an appropriate volume! Outside and upstairs seating. Food is sensational!

Wonderful place - very busy as it's so popular! Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Coffee is great! But the freshly baked on the premise cakes are something to die for! Very pleased to discover this place!!

Stopped here for a hot chocolate and a piece of baklava and it didn't disappoint. The hot chocolate was nice and chocolatey and not overly sweet.

Friendly owners & staff who serve fabulous coffee & outstanding Greek pastries. Being able to sit outside on a sunny day in the pedestrian mall & enjoy the passing parade heightens the pleasure. The coffee tastes delicious and the pastry is amazing. Nice environment and very friendly staff . Sometimes you get freebies on pastry and that makes you feel very welcomed. Upstairs you can relax and enjoy your coffee while you can study on your laptop . Nice background music

This place is as independent as a deli can be, i would say that it is more of a cafe though. It is popular with Greeks who enjoy a touch of their familiar food made authentically. It is tiny with limited seating capacity inside, but have pavement tables mainly used by smokers. But if you like all your desserts soaked in honey. Then you may wish to pop there for a visit. Enjoy.
