Fratelli in Central Bedfordshire

We were staying in Cranfield, but the kid said he wanted good pasta, so I found this lovely Italian restaurant with great vibes and excellent service. We had the garlic bread with mozzarella first, which was truly generous and tasty, with real cheese that forms threads when the slices are separated. I then had the risotto gamberi, and the kids had the linguine carbonara, children size, which was perfect for him and came with an ice cream cone. My risotto was flavourful, with smooth rice and proper chewiness in the shrimps and beautifully cooked cherry tomatoes in a mild but spicy "sauce." The carbonara had great aroma, and while the kid wanted the bacon in smaller bits, I thought more substantial pieces of pancetta were definitely a plus.

Came here on a complete whim after leaving Woburn Safari Park, we struck gold! Great food, friendly staff and fantastic service, will definitely be coming back. 5 stars from me!

I don't know which member of staff drives the blue SUV, but I certainly wouldn't trust being served or having food prepared by someone who drives the way he does. Overtaking in the Deer Park at high speed. Irresponsible and highly dangerous!

We received a very helpful and friendly welcome from all of the staff at this restaurant. The food was just excellent, and the level of service was just first class.

Went for a birthday celebration for my husband and they treated us well, service was amazing & food was authentic and delicious! The kids menu is good value & great sparkler celebration to help end the evening:) thank you Fratellis😊

Great food great staff vegetarian and vegan options available for most things parking is limited but more parking is available free a short 5 minutes walk away

Wouldn't rate this at all. Very poor wheelchair access. Calzone was dripping wet and hardly cooked. Wouldn't rate this place at all for the price.

Fantastic food, great choice of superb Italian cuisine. Service is always great. Parking can be a pain, very limited residents only close by.

Lovely food and overall a great experience, only marked down because the Parma ham had a funny taste has if it was old or off and sliced to thick. Mushroom & leek pasta was so delicious and our food was piping hot.

Average food served with a lack of customer service or empathy. We certainly weren’t welcomed with smiles or made to feel like we were wanted. We will choose one of the many other places to eat in future when dining in Woburn.

Had a 17th Birthday lunch today with our grandson . The pizzas & desserts were delicious very well presented & friendly staff . We will definitely return . Thank you

Our second visit with friends to whom we had recommended Fratelli in Woburn. Food is outstanding. All freshly made with modifications to menu items willingly offered to suit our vegetarian tastes.

Two friends and myself visited Fratelli's last week - It was absolutely lovely. We were all pleased with our meals. Spaghetti Carbonara is a particular favourite of mine, and it didn't disappoint! In fact I would say it was one of the best I've ever had. The food was served in good time, was all really tasty, and the restaurant was lovely. I'm happy to give the full five stars, and look forward to a return visit.

First time at this Italian restaurant. Absolutely amazing. Service was excellent from all team members. Food and entire experience was faultless. Best garlic bread ever! Wished we lived closer so we could go there more often!

Unfortunately a disappointing birthday experience. I have been there a few times but recently I felt that the place had become complacent and a course in customer relations would certainly be beneficial to some members of the management team. Blaming customers for a lack of clarity on your promotional offers is never a good thing.

Lovely environment with great staff. all the food was very good. only issue was the veal. which maybe was a error to order. all the other meals In our group were fabulous. would defiantly go there again.

LOVE this place! I met my Mum here for a mid week lunch. It was spur of the moment so didn't have a reservation which wasn't a problem at all. The service was spot on, the food was to die for (best pannacotta ever!) and the atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommend this little gem!

Lovely authentic Italian food served in a splendid location

First visit to Fratellis after it being on my list for a while. We celebrated mine and my sister birthday here with family and we had such a fab time. From start to finish the staff were lovely and attentive, the food was absolutely delicious and the restaurant itself was really lovely and cosy. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend!

Four of us arrived on a coolish evening but hadn't made a booking. We were asked if we were happy to sit outside and straight away 2 heaters were set up for us. The service was both friendly and attentive. The food was amazing and probably the best Italian I have ever eaten. The restaurant was full on a Wednesday night and so clearly the locals know how good this place is. I wish it was our local!!

Had a lovely meal last night for our wedding anniversary. Booking online was simple and easy and I mentioned it was for a special occasion. Had an amazing starter from the specials menu of honey figs, burrata which was so creamy with rocket and Parma ham crisps- it was so good. Pasta for main was delicious and the creme brûlée for dessert was great too. We were then surprised with a limoncello on a lovely decorated plate for our anniversary. Our waitress was excellent - professional yet very friendly and approachable and accommodating. Really enjoyed it and will be returning and recommending!

The best Italian food for miles! We had yet another lovely evening at fratellis in woburn, we sat out in the garden as the weather was so humid and it was the perfect setting full of ambience. Amazing food …. Thankyou Harris the chef! And service was fantastic as always, big Thankyou go Carmelo and the girls for looking after us so well! Until the next time!!

I love these restaurants! I normally go to the Ampthill one but as I was meeting friends Woburn was a better location. Such a beautiful building inside and out. Service was brilliant, food is always amazing, I love coming here. Lots of choices and reasonable prices with good portion sizes, you can always take home what you can't finish! Parking can be tricky so using the public car park and walking up is probably best.

Birthday treat with visiting family. Great welcome and good table. Lovely menu with good choice for the children who were with us. Good cocktails and beautiful scrummy bottle of Gavi.

6 of us ate here recently and we had a great time. Our server was fantastic and all the meals and wine were amazing. We will be back for sure. The meatball main is worth a special mention!

I've just checked and it isn't April 1st. This evening we eventually ordered our drinks & food, the waitress was very sweet and apologetic. I ordered a pasta dish and my wife ordered a medium cooked fillet steak. After 5 minutes the waitress returned and said that as the steak would take a long time to cook as we have ordered it medium, would we like to choose an alternative meal. I assured her that we could wait the extra 2 minutes required to cook a steak beyond the apparently more popular medium rare version. She said that the chef had told her it would be a very long time to cook it medium. We did look around to see if we were on Candid camera, but no...she was dead serious. We left and doubt we would bother ever going back. We went to The Red Lion at Milton Bryan and had a fabulous meal

Been there many times, but last time we went there we waited 40 minutes at our table to get a drink, it was like we were invisible we just couldn’t get served The waiter was walking past us without any concern about our empty table, when we eventually got to order drinks , he took a drink order from the next table who had only been there 10 minutes and served them before us. If I hadn’t been with friends we would have walked out We will not go back

First visit to this restaurant and we shall certainly be returning. The food was excellent as was the service. It was a weekday lunchtime but the restaurant was busy and there was a friendly, busy vibe. A good menu with lots of choice and something for everyone.

A very tasty meal and beautifully presented. We had two courses plus coffee in 55 minutes. Everything felt rushed.

Cozy intimate ambience, friendly staff and Delicious fresh Italian cuisine. The veal cutlet in marsala sauce was particularly tasty, as was the fresh crab linguine.

Unfortunately the manger is completely inexperienced in the hospitality sector! Booked a table months in advance! Placed us in an unfortunate place in the restaurant by the front door ! Obviously this is not a staffs fault! But when explained that was a special occasion! His response was I’m sorry we didn’t move you the table before had the more executive area ! As you can imagine travelling three hours ! And then a heavy taxi ride accumulating £48 this is a strong disappointment on our family party getaway !

Terrible customer service and poor experience, after travelling from South wales we booked this restaurant for a special evening and celebration. On arrival we were situated next to the front door and toilets and there was no ambience or atmosphere. From asking to be seated in the restaurant, the manager was rude, unhelpful and showed no effort or concern to support the change. We were made to feel like unwanted outsiders and ended up spending forty pounds on taxi fees to return to our accommodation. Appalling experience with no care of efforts for new customers.

A very unfortunate experience. After travelling from South Wales and booking 3 months in advance we felt unimportant and unimpressed. My party and I booked for a special birthday, we were seated right and the door and next to the loos, we politely asked to be seated in amongst the atmosphere, the manager explained the previous table came a half an hour early so they got to enjoy the table. I personally felt a lack of effort from staff, also £40 wasted on taxis.

Food tasted amazing and very good sized portions. Good range of different things to choose from Really nice location and staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. If you are looking for good tasty Italian food, this is the place to come

The best Italian in the area by far. Fratelli is fantastic. I was so excited by this Italian restaurant as there aren't many in the Woburn Sands area. The food is mouth watering.. I have never had a bad experience there and it has fast become one of my favorite places to go in Woburn. The staff honestly go above and beyond. They kept my left overs in a box in their fridge so I could walk around the Woburn deer park without carrying it (I had left overs and couldn't bare to not have the rest later!!). They also kept my jacket I left there by accident. Super friendly. Amazing food. Cosy setting. The best Italian in the area by far.

Excellent food and the atmosphere and service were the best

I thought that the restaurant would be just like its sister restaurant in Ampthill. How wrong i was. Food arrived at different times, lukewarm plates, the tomatoes on the bruscetta were still cold from the fridge. The staff appeared to be mainly milling around chatting and only going through the motions with customers, not engaged at all. Now correct me if im wrong, but a service charge/tip is discretionary. I know most restaurants add it to their bill anyways so its included but i like to tip the individual staff member who served me. So i asked for the service charge to be removed. The gates of hell opened. A different waitress strode up to the table and passively aggressively challenged as to why the service charge was being removed. I have never been challenged like this before and the level of disrespect and indifference to a customer should an insult to the hospitality industry. Funnily enough i was going to pay double the service charge as a tip Their loss.

Beautiful countryside style pub serving fantastic Italian food that tastes authentic. It was my first visit on my birthday and the team were great, really friendly and attentive. Lovely table setting under some greenery with really comfy suade seating. The food choices were great with some modern twists on the traditional pasta, pizza, chicken dishes. I went for the meatball calzone special which was great! Highly recommended for Milton Keynes residents!

Love the place, they do need more comfortable chairs though . . chairs are still hard and uncomfortable, it serves no purpose. They got comfortable chairs ♥♥♥ and the food/staff are still great.

Had the best birthday meal at this place. Nicest food I have had for a long while - also thank you to all the staff for making the experience even better that it already is!
