Ordered a Margarita Buffalo to go so cant comment on atmosphere but the pizza was delicious. The dough was soft and crunchy atbthe same time, and the toppings full of flavour. Will definitely recommend 👍🏻

So decided on pizza an decided to try Frankies . So we had the pollo chicken an mushroom a pepperoni one an one called piccante that had spicy beef chicken pepperoni fresh chillies , tomatoes an mozzarella . My son is a huge fan of pizza but only pepperoni and only gets from certain places due to his fussiness with the base , safe to say Frankies is added to his pizza place to go to . The other son had the piccante and that was a hit for him , he cant wait to try the lasagne now . Me I had the pollo and it was stunning love the base just the right amount of chewyness to it . Cant beat fresh pizza an this will definitely be our go to now .👌👌 we went in an ordered and waited for them couldnt beleive how fast it was also dare I say it faster than domino's . Give Frankies a go you won't be disappointed 😁

I found this little Italian restaurant by chance. Was waiting at the traffic lights and so that they were doing Vegan Pizza. We stopped and ordered a "chicken" and "Chorizo" pizza with Vegan cheese and some Began Garlic bread It was really good 🙂 Will definitely go back

This pizza was excellent and as an added bonus, the cook/owner were quite lovely! Pizza was some of the most authentic Italian that I have had in Cardiff. Will definitely be going again.

Been here many times and never fails to provide high quality food and service. True authentic Neapolitan pizza. This is my go-to takeaway for any occasion. Very cheap and affordable. Ignore all the bad reviews as they are not the case! Best pizzas I've ever eaten. Highly recommended for anyone!

We often have Friday night takeaway from Frankie's and it is our favourite pizza in town. Great range of toppings, lovely authentic base. Mozzarella sticks lovely, chicken strips can be variable. They do great chips. It's not the easiest place to collect from- you need to park in one of the side streets and walk there because it is on a busy junction. Doesn't put us off. Service can be a bit slow, but food piping hot. Some reviewers on here have complained about customer service when things go wrong, but in fairness, we've never had an order go wrong, so can't comment.

Just ordered for my birthday! Best Calzone pizza I’ve had in years! And the cheesecake - some sort of lemon meringue cheesecake was amazing😃😃. Highly recommend!

First time ordering from Frankies tonight which is always a risk isn’t it... we weren’t disappointed! We fancied pasta and weren’t sure where to get it as a takeaway in Cardiff so took a punt of Frankies. Food arrived on time, piping hot and quality was exceptional! Had Carbonara and Genovese pasta, bruschetta and garlic bread and it was all absolutely delicious, will definitely be ordering again. Great job! *****

Please do not eat at this restaurant. We only selected it because of the ratings and wanted a good Italian. My payment was not going through, it said the restaurant was unresponsive. So I called the restaurant to ask what to do. He asked me to order over the phone and pay cash. So I did this and went to pick it up. About ten minutes later, I got an email saying the restaurant had accepted my online order and had now taken my payment of 40 pounds out of my bank. I called the restaurant to ask his advice and he was so rude. He told me to pay cash and that my payment had not gone through and he wouldn’t get that money off Just Eat. At this point I was confused and seeked online help from the just eat robot online. They checked my order and confirmed I had paid for it. They told me to go to the restaurant and show the conversation between me and just eat to the owner and collect my food. I went to the restaurant and the guy was so rude. He refused to give me my food unless I paid cash. I tried to show him my bank statement and also the just eat help thread and he refused. I then got onto the help robot again whilst in the restaurant. They said the man needed to call them on the direct number so they could confirm to him it’s gone through. He also refused to do this. He started raising his voice at this point as to how much pressure he was under after Christmas and he had no one else helping him etc. At this point I was more than annoyed. I said he was out of order for putting all that on me ? Why is that my problem? I’ve paid 40 pounds, I’ve done everything he’s asked me to do ..... originally it was a delivery order and he told me to come collect it instead. And yet he was behaving like this. He then asked me to leave. I did. I left with no food, 1.5 hours of my life gone .... and no refund from him or just eat. Please rest assured I’ll be taking this further.

My absolute favourite pizza in Cardiff! I've lived in Cardiff since 2011 and have tried many different takeaway pizzas. I can say with absolute certainty that no other place I have tried beats Frankie's. The pizza base is delicious, light and full of flavour, and the topping are high quality, not too much cheese or sauce. The sides, although smaller in quantity than some places, are not greasy, and are so tasty! They clearly put a lot of time into the recipe for the flavouring of the chicken goujons. Really friendly drivers as well. I'll always come back to Frankie's :D

Dont listen to the bad reviews, the pizza from here is authentic and delicious. Tried a couple of different ones now, both are excellent and fresh. Chips are awesome too, better than most local chippys.

You wont find a more authentic Italian restaurant in all of UK. Gino the owner from Naples, is a masterclass of talent. I used to frequent this place daily during my student days 2008 to 2012.

Hi am disappointed with this meal we have ordered ..the Frankie's pizza we had was not cooked properly and the puree was like it was straight of a jar ....needed more cooking time Spaghetti carbonara..was bland..frozen meal deal I think .... Garlic bread was the best bit ..and chips ..wish i hadn't wasted 46 quid for this ..and the fudge cake was frozen ...need to be stepped up

Our food came delivered wrong, when rung and told that sorry wasn’t good enough. The woman on the phone was so rude saying well what do you want me to do about it? Making us feel like we were the problem. She then ended up putting the phone down on us explaining they are just so busy. Do not order from here - if your orders wrong, the customer service is dreadful!!!!!

We have had several pizzas delivered from here. Unlike some commercial, chain outlet pizzas, Frankies is an authentic stone baked pizza that is absolutely awesome for a take away.

Ice had some great orders from this place but last night was very poor. The owner eventually agreed ro resend gage order as it was burnt. I rang tonight the first person denied all knowledge and hung up. When I rang back he threatened me with police avoid this restaurant who wants to be treated like this?

Food from here is always excellent. Cannot fault it. A lot of Italian food as takeaway is a gloopy mess, but not this place. Excellent food.

They added half an hour to the delivery time after I ordered and then were ten minutes later than that so all in all an hour and 40 minutes was ridiculous for one pizza. It was predictably cold. Shame, because the food is actually very good

Hands down, the best takeaway pizza

Really enjoyed the food, it was delivered 30 minutes early. Pizza was really authentic much more than any other place I've ordered from in Cardiff. The pizza was a tad too salty and the base was a little soggy. But overall the food was great and much better than anywhere in Cardiff

For the price the quality was very poor. Ordered a chicken Caesar salad and there was next to no chicken. Pasta dish was poor quality also no meat.

Good service but the food quality wasn't great, The Spaghetti Bolognese was far too salty and the Italian Sausage penne dish was supposed to be in a creamy sauce, but the sauce was almost non existent making it very dry. We won't be ordering from here again sadly.

The good: the cokes were cold. Meal was on time. The bad: The pizza's were poorly prepared, cooked alright, but tasted average at best. Not price worthy. The ugly: the garlic bread was terrible. Will not order again.

Lovely Italian food delivered on schedule. I've used Frankie's a couple times and they haven't let me down yet. This was the first time I've had the cheesecake which is amazing and deserves 5 stars all on its own.

Frankies is the best pizza I've eaten so far in Cardiff. The pasta are great too, served in a plastic box that always keeps them hot. Furthermore, the delivery is always before/on time! Definitely a new regular customer here.

Cheap pasta ! Cheap sauce meat balls the size of Maltesers and tasted like dog food. Asked for fries got oven chips and a warm salad. Never order again can make better myself. School dinner standard

We love Frankie's! The food is delicious and far healthier than the norm, which means I can feed the family without any take-away guilt. We had bolognaise, salads and chips, but have worked our way through most of their pizzas and pastas during previous visits. A firm favourite, which is why we order from here so often.

We ordered 8 pizzas in two deals for a party and they were all delicious! Hot on arrival, even with such a big order and lovely delivery guy who wished my friend a happy birthday 🙂

We ordered the garlic and mozarella pizza bread, spaghetti carbonara and penne parm. The pastas were lovely, and we really enjoyed our dinner. Only negatives were the pasta portions were quite small for the money and the garlic and mozarella pizza bread had only a tiny amount of cheese on it, not enough to taste it. But both my partner and I really enjoyed the food, it was lovely.

Had a take away pasta and bruschetta. Thoroughly enjoyed, very tasty, delivery time was good for a Saturday night and reasonable priced thank you

Brilliant restaurant quality food at takeaway prices. If you're thinking of getting a delivery from another delivery service from an Italian restaurant chain, I implore you to consider this place instead. I have ordered from Frankie's many times and the food has always been delicious and fresh tasting. A refreshing option amongst the usual takeaway fare.

Enjoyed a nicely prepared spaghetti bolognese and pesto bread. Not greasy and finding bay leafs and carrots in the sauce was reassuring. We cannot get nice pasta dishes where I live so this was nice. Not convinced about the salad I ordered as a side so left that.

Great pizza! It's not easy to get a good and genuine Italian pizza with so many rubbish american pizzas around. Frankies is the real deal. Proper and delicious Italian style pizza. And do yourself a favor and try the bruschetta!

Accommodating helpful staff and delicious food!

Was busy I'm guessing so took a bit longer to arrive (not longer than the stipulated time). That being said I didn't mind as I've finally found a takeaway pizza place that does proper pizza the Italian way so will be back for sure. Bruchetta was delicious. The tirimisu seemed to be bought in but still tasted good. Nice one guys!
