Frankie & Benny's Boucher Place in Belfast

Went for my birthday lunch. Food was lovely, no complaints about that. No chat, no happy birthday, order taken and that’s all the communication. sat in a booth at the back which was nice and roomy for the 3 of us. I wouldn’t be rushing back if at all. Should have read reviews before hand.

Had a dodgy stomach after eating here. Table felt cramped and service wasn't great. Won't be back. ..

We went here recently when out doing some shopping. Frankie and Bennys is a place we have previously ate it numerous times over the years. I've always loved the Itialian theme, the music and decor and the food has never disappointed until this visit. The menu was seriously reduced in terms of the variety of food available to order. The food arrived surprisingly quick but it soon became apparent why. It was the most basic (most likely) frozen burger and my wife's pizza was mediocre at best. The bill came to £36 and to be honest we'd have been safer just going to McDonalds. Very disappointing. Won't be in a hurry back.

Had previous bad experience here but due to all other bar/restaurant options being booked out due to time of year & Christmas market etc, gave it second chance as was young daughters birthday and she wanted a treat for lunch. Girl greeting customers was friendly and helpful, but from there the experience was a disgrace. Once seated, order was taken and after 10 mins was informed there were no more wraps available, so child had to reorder - which we did. Then, few mins later the adults food arrives - a pizza which was thinner than the menu itself and of very poor quality for the price paid. I noted all pizzas being delivered to tables were exactly the same thickness and quality and can't help think they are pre frozen and simply heated up. Would explain the quality of the food. The amended child order arrived about 25 mins later, when the adults had already finished their meal. By this stage she had grown tired of waiting and the food was of awful quality. Needless to say she barely are it and we just wanted to leave. No staff apologised for the delay, fact it wasnt put as urgent bearing in mind the original delay due to running out of ingredients etc. Throughout the experience of around an hour and 15 the staff were running around in chaos, even arguing amongst themsevles and the ordering system in full view along with kitchen showed just how disorganised they actually are. I asked for the bill - for girl to say she'd bring it to my table. She passed the table at least 15-20 times delivering food, taking new orders and as befitting of this place having sat and given her ample chance to get back to me had to ask her AGAIN 15 mins later can I have the bill asap, and as per her reaction, she'd actually forgotten to go and get it leaving me sat unattended. I can accept a restaurant being busy but more importantly the quality of the food here is of absolutely horrible standard on both visits, appearing to be pre-packed or frozen and reheated only. The service isnt far behind and needless to say, its last time i'll ever set foot in this or any other Frankie & Benny's. You've been warned!

Het eten is lekker en de bediening is vriendelijk. Er zijn meerdere vegetarische opties. De airco staat er net iets hard voor het aangenaam te houden.

As seniors we were treated with attention and great service by our server Siobhan.Overall a very pleasant experience with good food.

Excellent service, food and drinks was spot on also. Two for one cocktails is a great deal especially in this current climate.

Recently just paid £6 for a single small slice of cake of, which honestly didn’t taste great. Standards have definitely dropped at Frankie and bennies. Also noticed the vegetarian menu has decreased and don’t offer the same selection as they use to. Don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon.

Everything was fine but you can get that feeling that’s all frozen food . In overal wasn’t that bad . But don’t think we gonna go back soon

Myself, my husband and our son came in for breakfast recently and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was lovely and no problem with our request of well done fried eggs! Both our waitresses were friendly and chatty.

we stopped there while on a trip to belfast. they asked for covid passport which was our first place being asked for it but we had it so wasnt an issue. we actually enjoyed being asked as we knew everyone around us was vaccinated. i was asked if i had any allergies and i told them peanuts. and everyone (staff) was informed and everyone made sure i was not ordering anything with peanuts and they gave me a ipad with everything that had no peanuts in it and i was able to order so i ordered spag and meatballs and my husband had a peperoni pizza. it was very nice and we enjoyed it.

Went on a very busy Saturday with no booking staff very accommodating. 20 minute wait and managed to squeeze us in. Kids meal portions very good and I loved the NY chicken and ribs. Staff all so lovely, great service

Quite frankly the worst meal I have ever had. Drinks never came to after starters. One of the starters burnt, all three mains were awful, it’s bad when a 14 year old won’t even eat a burger. Carbonara was like eating spaghetti with water. Had...

There was a very relaxed atmosphere in this restaurant today. The food was delicious. The customer service was excellent. The waitress (Tracey) asked us numerous times if she could help with anything else. It was a pleasure to have lunch here today.

Caolan was are waiter when we were out having a family meal to celebrate an occasion, are waiter caolan made us feel so welcomed and comfortable, funny, charming and so helpful and the service was great and food👌credit to the store, I'll definitely be back

This restaurant never fails. Its clean, spacious, food is delicious and staff are very friendly. The young lad Caolan was the best waiter we have had in a while, very attentive, he had a lovely way with him. Met the requirements of my family group. Will be back again.

Overall wasn’t great. To be fair the waiter was pleasant but I think training needed. No check up during meals, we would have ordered more drinks if we could. It seemed quality of food was poor, I’m not sure if it’s because we ordered off the set menu, starters lacked any flavour, main course ok plate looked like it hadn’t been washed and cleaned properly. Couldn’t identify a manager and after asking twice for the bill we just left. Don’t think we would go back considering its rare my wife and I are able to have a treat and eat out.

Called in tonight and was greeted by a young fella , possible the manager, upon taking to him and watching the staff I can honestly say they are on if the very few busy establishments that have their selves in order . Busy yet so calm and still smiling and interacting with us . A very positive experience

Popped in for food today and we’re greated at the door by a friendly employee named Caolan. Even though it was quite busy he made us feel so welcome bringing drinks and taking our order all within 10 minutes of being seated. He didn’t make us feel rushed and checked back on us twice even recommending some desert dishes for us to try, the hot cookie was fabulous! Thanks Caolan.

Anteriormente he estado y tuve una comida muy mediocre, sin embargo, siempre escucho excelentes críticas y pensé que les daría el beneficio de la duda. Nos sentamos rápidamente por un servidor amigable. Al llegar a la mesa, los menús estaban dispersos y no había cubiertos ni condimentos disponibles. Nuevamente pensamos que habían estado ocupados y que no habían llegado a ordenar la mesa. . . ¡no es gran cosa! Nos sentamos durante unos 10 minutos antes de que se tomaran nuestros pedidos de bebidas y llegaron rápidamente a la mesa. Luego esperamos aproximadamente 15-20 minutos antes de que se tomara nuestro pedido de comida. Nuestro servidor pasó junto a nosotros varias veces y prometió que estaría allí. Parecía ocupado y estaba sirviendo otras mesas. El restaurante no estaba ocupado y parecía haber más que suficiente personal. ¿Quizás si uno de los otros servidores que estaban ocupados con sus teléfonos, coqueteando con los repartidores o apuntalando el mostrador le hubiera echado una mano? ¿También el personal sale a fumar cigarrillos y regresa sin lavarse las manos, todavía con abrigos y mesas de servicio? Duda de que cumpla con los estándares de higiene de los alimentos. La comida salió rápidamente, pero para ser sincero, tal vez fue demasiado rápido. Me dio la impresión de que había estado esperando a ser recalentado, ¡y creo que no me equivoqué! La comida era de muy mala calidad por el precio, la hamburguesa estaba seca, desmenuzable y carecía de sabor. La lasaña sabía a tarro de salsa, con algunos trozos de pasta. Desafortunadamente, parece que se olvidaron de poner algo de carne picada. Habíamos planeado quedarnos para un postre, sin embargo, después de nuestra comida nos desanimaron. Pedimos la factura, que nos fue entregada y el servidor se fue, sin preguntar si queríamos pagar. Luego descargamos la aplicación y pagamos en línea, ya que nadie había vuelto a nosotros. The vegan menu did not disappoint , fresh , full of flavours, and a great discount gets applied with the app !! I hope it stays

I went here on 30th December with my daughter as a treat, but it definitely was not that. The staff were friendly when seating you, they were not prompt taking food order, but food arrived far too quickly to actually be cooked!

We stopped for some lunch and got seated nice and quick. The service was great and the food delicious. It’s also easy to get too with ample parking.

All the staff were really friendly, and catered so well to my allergens was really easy to order without having to work out what I could eat. Rachael served us and she was great. Class craic and had us all laughing the whole time!

Chicken pasta dish was ok. Spicy chicken burger meal was poor, breaded chicken was burnt/ over cooked and very greasy. Nothing special I’m afraid.

Had lunch here on Tuesday 6th August. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a friendly smiling face. The girl who served us was absolutely fantastic. Although busy when we first arrived we were looked after so well. The food arrived really fast and was delicious. The girl had lots of time after to chat to us while we waited for the thunder and lightning to stop before leaving. Was my first visit but will definitely be back as I felt so welcome here.

Our server Teisha was friendly, helpful and funny, best service we have had in years! The menu catered for a gluten free member of our party really well, would definitely recommend.

Went there around 6pm.I ordered Italian Hot Pizza, BBQ Chicken and ribs and Milkshake.

On the occasion I get to Belfast which is not often I come here since ballymena closed and miss the breakfast popped in this morning and managed to get the breakfast pizza again it's back and I'm loving it thanks for the great fast service again trish and it was nice to be remembered after so long cant wait for my next trip

Están empapados y poco apetecibles, como cuando se calentaban en un microondas. Pagué 17 por 3 excusas deficientes para panqueques, 3 cuartos de gofres para mi hijo: un chocolate caliente y un té manky.

My son & I called in for a quick brunch & we were greeted by our friendly server Bernadette. It’s amazing how a ready smile & a warm welcome can make such a difference & cheer you up.

From we entered the restaurant till we left we were very impressed. The lady who sat us was so friendly and continued to look after us throughout our meal, here name is Bernadette and I must say is a credit to the restaurant, we did mention this to the manager when leaving. We had a Groupon voucher to use and the food was outstanding, we will return again very soon.

Went there last year and when we returned to Belfast, decided to go dine there. Food did not disappoint and my husband had the chicken twice!! Milkshake was also good;I ordered it to go. Service is pretty alright, and the food served quick.

We stopped in on Monday for breakfast before a day of shopping. Breakfast was really nice our server was called Stuart and was some of the best service I have ever had he is a credit to the company. We will be back.

I visited this restaurant today with my daughter and Grandson Good menu. Daughter Dairy free diet - good choices on menu. We had a burger with vegan cheese Fully loaded potato skins Key lime pie Biscoff cheesecake. Delicious Waitress Bernadette. Excellent Thanks.

My partner and I visited here for breakfast on Bank Holiday Monday and were served by Trisha. She was fantastic, had a laugh and a joke and really made us feel welcome. Food was lovely and we'd definitely go back. Thank you for a lovely morning!

We had a lovely time yesterday in F&B.; Made my son's special day perfect. It's his fave place to eat. The food was gorg, the service was efficient and the hospitality was great. My guests all said they'd def be back. The group on offers was an added bonus. Be back to eat again soon.

I purposely made TripAdvisor to put a complaint in because I didnt no any other way to complain .. me and my boyfriend were in for a date last night .. we were sitting at table two . Our waitress didnt care about us she was too busy worrying about her other tables because they were older . We waited ages for our rockstar cocktail she had brown her with glasses . We had to ask another girl where our drinks were . We waited ages to even be cleared from our starters . The girl in the glasses didnt seem to care about us . My boyfriend had to go up and pay and our plates still wernt cleared from us the time he paid . My boyfriend even seen her on her phone alot . She just didn't seem in form . I think its coz we were a young couple she didnt care as much but she was on her phone alot

Great service and fantastic food as always. Thanks again for you hospitality. We really enjoyed our visit today. Kids liked the slim.

We are just home from an amazing Birthday dinner for our grandsons 7th Birthday. We booked online but had 2 extra guests last minute. I called and there was no problem. All the staff were fantastic. We had 6 children with us and when there was a drinks spill there was no hassle and drinks replaced immediately, much appreciated by the children. All the food was hot and tasty and when they brought his cake out I had forgotten the candles, they produced candles and then played Happy Birthday which was great fun. Great atmosphere, great food and fantastic staff

Paddy and Trisha were amazing, From the minute I walked in with my family and friends, to the minute we left. We were greeted with warmth and genuine heartfelt service.

5 work colleagues and I went here this week before seeing a play and used the taste card for some good discount. I had booked the table and got seated quickly but we then waited 40 mins for someone to take our order despite asking 3 times could we please do so. I had to get up and go to the man who seated us when he went ahead and took another order a few min after the couple arrived. We were tight for time in the end. Food was nice but they really need more staff on

Visited Belfast today with family from Donegal, and we called into frankie and Bennies and would recommend it again highly. The service and food was great! Our server aoife was very pleasant and made us feel very welcome, would love to go again!

Myself and my husband very rarely go any place else, the food is fantastic and we can honestly say the service is second to none! The managers seem to have a genuine bond with their staff and the environment within the restaurant with the music, friendly staff and genuine good buzz about the place is just some of the things that drive us back here everytime! Came here today for the lunch menu where you got two courses for £9.99! I ordered loaded potato skins with bacon cheese and chive for starters. The service was quick and they came out and were presented well but the taste wasn’t great as there wasn’t much flavour. For main I ordered the chicken and mushroom penne pasta. The chicken tasted like it had been cooked in soap and the “white wine and mushroom sauce” was grey slime and horrible. Not impressed and would not be back.
