The pizza was good but the staff was terrible. The waiter with glasses simply does not return the rest of the money. We waited 10 minutes for him to return the rest, about 10 pounds, but nothing. We left the establishment terribly disappointed.

The pizzas at Franco Manca are fab, and the taste is so good. All Pizza's are sourdough base and the fresh toppings are the best. No matter what Franco you go to they are all 100% great and the food is the same no matter if your in Soho or Chelmsford. Best Pizza chain of restaurants out there

My family and I dined at Franco Manca in Soho tonight. We arrived slightly late, but Manuel warmly welcomed us and made us feel comfortable despite the delay. Throughout our meal, he was incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring we never felt rushed. He even interacted with my kids with kindness. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would love to return. Perhaps we'll visit him at the shop where he usually works, knowing he was just covering in Soho. We were truly spoiled by the excellent staff, atmosphere and delicious food. Thank you. A little mixed review about Franco Manca in Soho… Food was lovely; cannot fault it- pre pizza and the pizza itself were tasty and filling. Well presented too. The downfall on this particular occasion was the responsive of the staff… the main issue was being able to gain a staff member’s attention. When we were able to gain their attention or to make our order, this was absolutely fine. They were pleasant and friendly. Food, drinks and atmosphere were great. I have been to Franco Manca before but this visit was more of a ‘miss’ due to staffing responsiveness rather than the ‘hit’ it normally was/is.

I had a lovely time at this Franco Manca! The pizza was delicious, and the staff were all really friendly, in particular Gur. We were also seated and served very quickly.

I have to say that I have eaten at Franco Manca a few times and the food served there is spectacular and delicious. But what makes this place such a great experience is the lovely Ana, who is a very attentive and accommodating waitress. We really enjoyed our lunch and the ambiance. Ana made us feel like we were King Charles and Queen Camilla. We will definitely be back again and again.

The restaurant is in a basement. No windows or anything. The food was the typical Franco Manca food, but the service was poor and disorganised. We waited about 20 minutes just to have our order taken. In the meantime, other people that came long after...

Lovely atmosphere, great pizza, great burrata-bite, cheap and good pizza wine, 6£ pint and a lot of variations on the menu. Overall a great experience! Would definitely eat here again!😋

Nos preocupaba que nuestra intolerancia al gluten fuera un problema, pero Gabriele nos aseguró que no lo era en absoluto y nos ayudó a ordenar para satisfacer nuestras necesidades dietéticas, lo que realmente nos tranquilizó. En general, es un lugar muy agradable con gente muy agradable y muy buena comida. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

Visited this restuarant earlier this week in the evening. There were four of us.The restaurant has a good vibe to it and when busy likely has a vibrant atmosphere. The starters were excellent, good portion size and very tasty. The pizza was okay, I felt mine was lacking in filling....The house wine was very bland.................Otherwise, okay for a quick bite to eat.

Esta sucursal parecía muy popular ya que tuvimos que esperar alrededor de una hora por una mesa (pero éramos un grupo más grande). La pizza era bastante sabrosa y puedes verlos mientras esperas. Sin embargo, creo que este restaurante es normal en sus ofertas ya que es bastante ruidoso y al estar en un sótano carece de la atmósfera que siento que experimentas en otros lugares alternativos de pizza.

Nous avons suivi les conseils d'un guide acheté en France. Nous avons été decus. Les pizzas ne présentent pas d'intérêt. La sauce à l'air d'être faite maison mais le reste est bien loin d'être à la hauteur. C'est vraiment cher pour ce que c'est. D'autres adresses sont bien meilleures. Ce qui n'est pas difficile. Bref à éviter.

Staff is so friendly (the waitress Rosa in particular) and the gluten-free pizza is absolutely amazing every time! This pizza over any other takeaway every time!! Never disappointed by the pizza here

Non apprezzando molto il cibo inglese, mi sono buttato sulla pizza Italiana. In queste pizzerie è possibile mangiare una buona pizza italiana, e parlare in italiano con il personale. Locale pulito e accogliente, pizza e birra buone, il tutto ad un prezzo conveniente.

Ate here with a group of friends - they all ordered pizzas with additional toppings - I ordered a set menu - their's all arrived in good time - mine did not appear. I asked the waitress to find out if my pizza was coming and was assured it was on the way....It had obviously been forgotten because just as my friends were finishing their food my very sad pizza arrived. I had ordered a "number 5" which was a sourdough base with some pretty tasteless tomato sauce topped with 3 olives, 3 anchovy fillets, some sliced raw garlic and a half dozen capers - almost inedible (barely baked) and extremely disappointing. The homemade lemonade was also pretty grim. Perhaps they should charge a bit more for the pizza and put some seasoning in the tomato sauce and add a decent amount of topping? We will not trouble them again....

Just a quick lunch stop but surprisingly very good. Staff are welcoming and the place is buzzing. Delicious pizza, generous glass of decent wine, smiley service, job done! For the price it was brilliant. Will certainly go there again.

Two freinds suggested meeting here for an easy relaxed dinner and it ticked all the boxes. Simple, good, wholesome sourdough pizza’s in a buzzing basement restaurant. Service was on point and efficient. All in all a recommendable, affordable place to meet with friends.

Went here last night, a group of 7. Were put in the back table away from everyone which is presumably why the service was so bad. It took 15 minutes to bring our drinks. The aubergine parmigiana we requested as a starter was brought out burnt with the the pizzas, which on this occasion were pretty average. No cutlery on the table, had to ask an abrupt waitress twice for it. An overall very underwhelming experience and we won’t be back. It was a big disappointment considering we’d all been a couple of months ago and really enjoyed it.

Had a lovely evening at the soho branch of Franco manca - our waiter Valerio was fabulous and attentive. Made for a great experience. Thank you Valerio!!!!

Actually we were on our way to another Italian restaurant that we found wit Google Maps. But when we saw this restaurant we immediately decided to give it a try. My wife and I3 both ordered a salad and our son a pizza. My wife is allergic for certain food (ingredients), so we asked the waitress about it. She came up with a table of dishes they serve and ingredients of each of them and allergic problems each might have. It turned out to be a standard procedure to show customers with allergies this table and advice them about what dish would be best to order. While many waiters in other restaurants have been helpful too in addressing the issue of my wife's allergies, we highly appreciated the organized, procedural approach of the Franco Manca restaurant. They took this issue very seriously, as it should be. Now, about the rest I can be short: the food was very good, the service was not only professional as by now you may understand but also friendly and the prices were very reasonable. We left with a great feeling of satisfaction.

We waited 25 minutes before someone took our order , the server was polite but the pizzas took nearly 40 minutes to come, when they did mine was barely cooked , looked almost raw, toppings were pitiful, while my wife’s pizza was well cooked with plenty toppings, the other 2 people in our party had to wait an extra 15 minutes for their pizza and again one had barely any toppings while the other was good .

we arrived (5 of us in total) food was amazing, and our server was so lovely, i believe her name was Honey. so lovely and we all left feeling satisfied and very happy. thank you

Non ho potuto ringraziare l'amico italiano che vive a Londra che me l'ha consigliata in quanto la pizza era particolarmente gommosa. Niente a che vedere con i migliori impasti che si trovano oggi in Italia. In paga nonostante 40 mi uti di attesa il servizio è stato decisamente veloce e i prezzi accessibili.

Io e il mio ragazzo siamo stati qui per cena. Il locale è carino ed accogliente e il personale molto gentile e disponibile. La pizza e’ buona veramente e i prezzi più che onesti...consigliatissimo

Great atmosphere and pizza, friendly service and very reasonable prices. My only criticism is that they serve wine in water glasses! Not a big deal though and we would return and recommend.

We were in London for 3 reasons - Christmas lights, Hamleys and Franco Manca pizza which never fails to deliver. We’d not been to this particular venue before but it offered the same experience that we’ve come to know so well. Pleasant busy atmosphere and good service. I tried one of the specials today which had the most gorgeous fennel salami, whilst the others went for mains from the menu - again fantastically flavoursome. It won’t be long before return to our favourite pizza establishment

Franco Manca does fantastic pizza. It's great value, the dough is delicious and they rarely fail to provide a great pizza. 3 of us enjoyed 3 different pizzas and 2 starters. The service however needs some work, there's a lot of staff but they need to be more attentive. We struggled to order at every juncture. It's the only thing that currently let's them down. Additionally the only other thing that's frustrating is the glasses they serve the wine in quite unpleasant tumblers that are pretty much all stained from being washed too many times.

I visited this restaurant with my mum, as I had visited other branches before and had really enjoyed the pizza.

I know Franco Manca's but have never been to this branch. They really excelled. It was very busy and the service was excellent. We were right by the kitchen so had a great view of the clouds of flour and the thud of dough being beaten. Great value food and very tasty. A great place to eat with a lovely group of friends.

This is one of our regular spots whenever we're in London and so far we've never been disappointed. The Pizza always tastes delicious with tasty toppings and a lovely airy dough. The cocktails are also nice although a bit on the smaller side.

After raving about Franco Manca to my family it was a bit embarassing to be served pizza dough that was rather gummy. Unfortunately it seems that the quality of the pizzas vary depending on location because the pizza at Franco Manca Russel Square is absolutely divine (slightly lighter with crispier parts). Not that it was terrible at all - especially considering the price - just didn't live up to expectations.

I tempi di attesa non sono per niente lunghi e i prezzi sono giusti (una margherita £6.55) Poca varietà tra le pizze ma tutte molto buone!! C'è la possibilità di avere l'acqua dal rubinetto gratis!

Very happy I found out about Franco Manca. Their outlets are super busy with lines, however they’re managed well and service is quite quick. They are more authentic compared to other “italian” chains in London. You can say they’re a blessing for London. An authentic taste of Italy. This outlet had Italian staff and pizza makers which makes the experience and, mostly, the food better!!

Pizzas were good and service was friendly. Very affordable place to eat. I needed the receipt for work and called back two days later and the manager found it and brought it up for me at the door. Great service! Thanks again

The restaurant was busy but we didn’t have to wait long for a seat, the service was fast and the pizzas were amazing. Definitely worth it especially as it was really cheap (about £7 a pizza)
