Frali in Bexley

We went here on a Sunday great menu lots of choice. To start I had mushroom soup best mushroom soup I’ve had, followed by a roast and wow I dnt know about you but when I have a roast dinner in carvery or pubs it’s so dry and no flavour. You will not be disappointed here it was delicious right amount of gravy and roast potatoes were Devine. Perfect place for family’s couples or a group meal out, children's changing facilities VERY clean. I’m a big desert person I had the syrup sponge it was beautiful. Would deffo recommend if your a foodie like me. We will be visiting again very soon thank you to the new management doing a fab job

Had a lovely meal here Friday. Food was perfect. Staff was amazing. Loved the new management. Will definitely be returning again soon! Only downfall was the people dinning further up from us as they was so drunk, loud, clicking fingers to get more wine. Then trying everything to get money off the bill. (Going by the picture I'm pretty sure it was luke chesher who has left a bad review on this lovely place) How ever that wasn't on Frali so you will still get 5 stars from us. See you again soon 😊

I’ve been to this restaurant a few times and I absolutely love it! It’s family friendly too! The food omg is 🤩 ! Me and my husband have been speaking about it ever since😅 we have already made a booking so we are looking forward to go with our 3 girls. The new people that own the restaurant are so welcoming and polite! 5 star service!

Used to be great but since change of ownership, absolutely horrible. Forgot to serve us our desert and refused to take it off the bill because it was part of a 'set menu' as if it was our fault for not receiving our third course... Have been many times before but unfortunately never again. Avoid at all costs unless you fancy paying for a meal you won't receive.

If I could leave a 0 I would. Absolutely awful management now.

What a superb little venue. Had the Friday special being an African dish of chicken curry. Different African dish each Friday. Very well priced. First class service.

Party of 6 and was our first time eating at Frali. I chose from the set menu and the food was great. The staff/owners were very friendly. As it was a Tuesday evening it was quiet so I can't speak of the atmosphere but my party all agreed we will return.

I've lived in Sidcup for several years and can't believe I've not been here before! Lovely family run restaurant, great food at very reasonable prices and lovely owners and staff - what more could you ask for? I'll definitely be making this a regular haunt in 2023.

Madonna night, we had a ladies night out. The food was very good as was the entertainment. Rather a lot of wine was consumed. The waiting staff were excellent and really looked after us.

Tuesday evening meal with my grown children. Steamed shell fish starter was amazing. Will be back soon

Great find in Sidcup. We had dinner here on a week day back in January. Service was great. Reasonable prices and portion sizes. Would definitely come back again!

Took my mother for her birthday. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. The deep fried Brie my mother had to start was apparently delicious and a generous portion. I had the avocado and huge prawns to start which were perfect. We both chose pasta for main and the portions were plentiful. The pawn tagliatelle was so tasty with so many king prawns. We forced ourselves to squeeze in dessert of warm chocolate cake and ice cream. We recommend you try this lovely restaurant. We will return.

My first visit. It was a Sunday lunch. Friend had the roast which he enjoyed. Had asked for the beef to be rare and was pleased with the result. I had sea bass. Which I also enjoyed. Thought the2 menus were resonably priced. Both offered choice of 2 or 3 courses. Good wine selection. I will add it to my list of regular local eaters.

Just eaten for the second time at this great place. The pasta is gorgeous and the puds delicious. Excellent choice of starters, mains and deserts. The ambience is homely and friendly, and tablecloths make it an elegant eating experience. Perhaps a candle would add to the atmosphere? Will be going again before long.

First time visit to Frali yesterday, I’ll definitely be back. The food was delicious, salmon & crab parcels for starters, baked cod wrapped in Parma ham for mains, delicious...I even made room for dessert and a calypso coffee. Good, attentive service too. I’d highly recommend.

A brilliant night out spent at this brilliant Italian restaurant tucked away in Sidcup High Street. A very warm, welcoming atmosphere in a cosy clean restaurant. Great food - ' food heaven here', with a variable choice on the menu too. Served by very polite, professional, friendly staff that always aim to please. I for one will definately return here at some future date. My folks thoroughly enjoyed the experience at Frali! A1, 10/10. Chris.👍

Very friendly with nice food, would go again

Its run by 2 lovely gentlemen. 1 is Greek the other Italian. So you know the food is going to be great. With a wonderful chef to help them they turn out some absolutely fantastic dishes. It's all home made. We were at a small celebration last night, with the family. And the service was as great as usual. If you are a couple or 10 the service is always special, they do make you feel great. My sister had the ice cream last night, she said it was amazing. I always have their creme brulee. Yum. But will try it next week. Whatever you have, I guarantee you will have a wonderful time. There is a wide range on their menu, but you wont go wrong with their set menu. Great food great prices. Great people. I love it. So will you.

My husband and I ate here on Saturday evening. Food was superb, staff friendly and social distancing measures in place. Will definitely be going here again

Table booked for 7.30 but as some of our group of 7 got there early we asked for drinks beforehand. Unfortunately though despite our comments to the waitress she insisted on giving us menus the minute we sat down and kept chasing us.This set the scene for the rest of the evening. We felt under pressure the whole time we were there culminating in being chased for a dessert choice at 9pm because they were closing at 10.15. This bearing in mind we were the only customers and the website says they close at 10.30. All in all food was very average, service not good at all and they have lost 7 customers going forward along with everyone they know.

Eaten here lots of times, have always had good food and service. The two gentlemen who run this restaurant are always friendly and food always good. Very happy to recommend.

Little gem of Sidcup high street. This small and cosy family run restaurant surely knows their tradition and aptly showcases that through their food. I could see that the restaurant guys know many of their customers by name, that means they have huge number of regular patrons. Starters were excellent, liked the mains too. Portion was decent. And I must say the guy who served us was very friendly and attentive. Definitely will go back again.

Such a lovely cosy restaurant. The gentleman in charge, I presume the owner, was very attentive and welcoming. The choices on the menu where amazing i settled for the veal masala and my partner had the risotto. So delicious our compliments to the chef. I can thoroughly recommend and would definitely be back Wish i lived more locally

Four of us had a lovely meal in Frali last night. Fillet Steak was wonderful as was the sea bass and the veal masala. I have had their spaghetti vongole before and it's so tasty I had to have it as a starter, a very generous helping! Great friendly service, nothing is too much trouble. Support this great restaurant which has very reasonable prices and top quality food.

Excellent three courses, and a total bill for a party of five marginally over £100. Recommend.

Went there after seeing it on Meerkat Meals. The staff were on hand at all times, the food was very homely and filling. Will definitely recommend the place and will be visiting again soon!

This was a first time visit to this local Italian family run establishment. Service was very attentive and food was excellent. They provided good vegetarian options and prices are reasonable.

Mid week treat and so glad we went. Service amazing presentation first class food gold award. We had 241 meerkat hence why we went great value certainly will return the only fault to full up for desert so much return

Very disappointed with the food here tonight, ordered fillet steak but was very chewy and grisly. Had the tiramIsu as this was recommended but it was just a glass full of cream. Have had nice meals here in the past but don't think we will be coming back.

I visited this restaurant with my 3 elderly aunts for a little family night out. And was only there for 1/2 an hour and walked out. There was only 1 elderly lady running the floor in a packed restaurant who struggled to comprehend basic instructions like no ice. So firstly the drinks arrived wrong. Then being an Italian/Mediterranean restaurant we were given a menu with 1 Italian dish on as a set menu, which was to the discust of my aunts. We then started to order our food. I am a big meat eater so I asked for the steak and immediately confused the server when I asked for a double portion...2 steaks 1 plate, I thought this was a clear and simple instructions. When only 3 orders were taken the server some how managed to knock a full large glass of white in all over 2 2 of my aunts soaking 1 pair of trousers and a blouse. Her instant reaction was "accidents happen" and walked off. Then another man came over with a cloth and started wiping the menus dry. Not worried about 2 mobile phones and clothing. In the meantime I have had to scoop up the table cloth, filled with wine and stand hiding it while the man removed the menus to the bar to continue their drying. At this point I said that's it we are going. When my eldest aunt went to question their actions they tried charging for the drinks of which one was worn. They then when I protested that they cancelled the charge. What a shambles. Will not be going back

Reasonable price for good food sometimes forget to book but they make room for us garlic bread with cheese so good steak cooked well just how I like it and as for the sticky toffee pudding to share never got a spoon of it as my husband never leaves any

A group of us who used to work together went here last night. Highly recommend the set price menu 3 courses for £15.00. I had garlic bread oozing with butter and topped with toasted cheese followed by my favourite pollo alla milanese. Dessert was a delicious tiramisu. Everyone enjoyed the food and the very good house wines.

Decided to try Frali as we are sick of the chain restaurants. Booked last minute and very glad we did. We sat well inside the resturant and not by the window which i find appealing, it wasnt about showing they had customers. Food was lovely and good

Went mid week with my Mum, the food was delicious and we had generous servings. Shared the olives and houmous platter to start and I had oven baked cod wrapped in Parma ham with king prawn risotto as a main, it was really nice and the service was flawless. We will definitely be returning

Having been emailed the fixed price menu, £15 for 3 courses, by a friend, I decided on the spur of the moment to go there with the wife. To our amazement at 9pm on a Friday evening the place was empty but it is the first week after Christmas so perhaps that’s why the streets were quiet.

Excellent! Hot, tasty, well presented and all perfect for a family dinner for four generations!! We'll definitely be back for next year's dinner - and very likely a few more times during the year.

Large group of OAP's for Christmas dinner last week. Ordered the lamb cutlets and only arrived with mash & peas. Rather underwhelmed to be honest. Would have been nicer to have had the dinner with more trimmings, especially as it is the festive season.

This restaurant is a little gem. The special fixed price menu is such very good value and the food is always excellent. There is also an extensive a la carte menu and a good wine list. The service is always good, everyone is attentive and friendly. We eat here quite regularly and every meal has been great. If you enjoy good food served by lovely people we would definitely recommend you try Frali's, you won't be disappointed.

Popped in with hubby for a cheeky dinner, had the special weeknight menu (excellent value at £13 for two courses or £15 for three). I started with the ciabatta cheese garlic bread, which was delicious, husband had meatballs with pitta. For main I had salmon (slightly dry) with asparagus, which was served with new potoatoes and lemon butter but I asked for chips instead (as I really fancied them) and they were very nice. Husband had chicken escalope and spaghetti which he said was lovely. For dessert I had baklava with ice cream, husband had tiramisu. Bill for two with bottle of wine and tip - £50. will definitely be back!

Had a lovely meal here with my mum on a Sunday for a late lunch. A 3 course meal was only £16 !!! Cute little family run restaurant with impeccable food and good service. Vegetarian options are available I had the aubergine starter and it was amazing I have not had anything like it before and then had the vegetarian lasagne which was equally as great. Was recommended by a friend who comes here almost weekly and it did not disappoint. If you live in the area I definitely recommend and is always good to support small businesses locally. Also has cute little salt and pepper shakers.

Enjoyed a mid week maybe at with friends. We had the optional two or three course menu which offered exceptional value. All present enjoyed their meals which were served from promptly and cooked virtually before our eyes as the chef could be seen at the end of the restaurant. The staff including the owner were polite and welcoming. Certainly worth a regular visit when we will likely entire beyond the set priced menu. Varied but limited wine list which was typically priced.

I had my 50th birthday meal here with 17 guests. We provided all our food choices beforehand and took balloons and a birthday cake in too. Franco and his team are very friendly and welcoming and we had a brilliant evening. I hope we weren't noisy

Went out for a family dinner. Quick service and the team is professional and makes you feel at home. Everything was fresh and superbly cooked. It was hard to choose from the varied menu. They have such generous portion sizes. We had meatballs in tomato sauce and pitta bread, garlic bread, prawns and avocado for starters. For the main course, we had rump steak, calf’s liver and veal escalope. Only one of us could take dessert - chocolate cake with ice cream. I had a taste of everyone’s food and I can only say it was superb. I’ll definitely go back and I’m planning to sample the braised lamb shank. Bravo

The food is excellent at this restaurant, and the choice and price on their special menu is such good value. There is a good choice of wines, including my favourite white Italian, which is a bonus for me, as I've not seen it on the wine list anywhere else locally. The staff are friendly and welcoming, greeting us like old friends. It's such a pleasure to go there. The spaghetti vongole starter (mussels) is really good and the fegato (calves liver) is unbelievable, but everything on the menu we have tried, has been so tasty, well cooked and presented. Would highly recommend.

Went to this lovely restaurant last Saturday to celebrate my birthday. This Restaurant was recommended by a friend and didn't disappoint. The food was excellent and good value on their special menu. The owner and staff were attentive and nice to be in a restaurant where you have a clear view of the kitchen and the food being cooked. All of my party will return and highly recommend.

With the closing of the Stuffed Olive and La Cantina, Sidcup needed another Italian/Mediterranean Restaurant, and Frali fits the bill perfectly. We have been twice since it opened, and both times the food was exceptional. Thank you Franco, we will be coming back very soon!

Newly-reopened under new management, but the owner has brought all his skill and ability from his earlier restaurant in Beckenham.
