We visited today with family, celebrating two birthdays. The whole evening was lovely! The food was great, especially the chocolate brownie!! The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. Very reasonably priced too! Thank you 😊

Took our daughter & granddaughter for a carvery today & it’s the best carvery I’ve ever had. The food was of excellent quality & was cooked to perfection. The staff were brilliant. I’ll definitely be returning to sample some more.

I have never visited the four Cross roads boston but I went there with my family for a Sunday carvery and the food was absolutely delicious the meats were very tender and cooked to perfection the selection of veg was very well presented the staff are very friendly and the owner came over and he was very attentive and the whole team were amazing

I had heard such great things about this place , but I'm sorry to say I won't be going back. The meat was too pink for my liking. Beef and the lamb. The meal was barely warm. The staff were lovely and friendly though so I've scored a 5 on that one.

We went last Sunday for a Carvery with our daughter & daughter in law & it was amazing!There was so much choice, not only of meat but vegetables & 3 types of potatoes too which you don't get very often at other places.We didn't have room for desserts but they sounded lovely too.The staff were all so friendly & welcoming, couldn't believe how busy the restaurant was.We will definitely be going back & also need to try the Indian Buffet they advertise in the week.

Went for the carvery as we often do here. Selection of meats very good. 2 of our regular party are non meat eaters. I believe there is only vegetarian sausages on offer. So vegetarian selection is poor. When we went to pay, I was flabbergasted to be told that the 2 non meat orders were the same price as the meat eating carvery meals. In the past we have paid for a childs carvery. Apparently this is no longer an option. I cannot believe that people who have so much meat offered to them, can be charged the same as people who only have the vegetables and potatoes. So this is no longer our choice of eatery on a Sunday because I really feel this is very unjust and certainly not the way, to do business!

We visited the Resturant for a Mother’s Day set two course lunch. We had pre chosen a carvery and desert and arrived slightly early but were seated within fifteen minutes of our arrival. Both mums loved the glass of Prosecco given prior to our meal and the friendly staff and owner made it a very welcoming afternoon. The carvery itself was one of the best we have ever experienced with four meats on offer and a great selection of vegetables. Service throughout the meal was first class and the desert when it arrived was plentiful and very tasty. This was our first visit to the Resturant and we will certainly be back, the food quality amount of meat on the plate and most importantly the ambience of the establishment was first class a very pleasant experience from start to finish !

Went to the buffet curry night, food delicious. The curry venison was to die for. Going back Sunday for the carvery roast. Can thoroughly recommend

We were seated next to a dog that we witnessed go for a young girls face! The food also leaves a lot to be desired. It was all soggy. Sauces all dried up and mixed up. Our sons lemonade was flat, so he couldn't drink it. All that was said was "its because it's white, you can't tell," still charged us the £2.50 for the drink. £59.40 for 2 adults and 2 kids caverys and 4 drinks. 1 adult meal was completely wasted because it was awful. Won't be back.

It was ok. We went for a carvery. There was a brilliant selection of vegetables the meat was flavourless though which was somewhat dissapointing

An overall bad experience from start to finish. We booked a table for 8pm, had to ask for menus several times, and didn’t even get a drinks order taken. Eventually we had to go to the bar and order ourselves. We waited over an hour for our food and when it arrived, the order was wrong, we mentioned this and no apology was made or any offer to correct it. The staff were very slow and unreliable, so unfortunately we will not be returning anytime soon.

We had Sunday lunch carvery today it was beautifull food and plenty of it our only gripe was the food was just warm it's such a shame because friendly staff and good service but this problem could easily be solved. But it won't put us of but hope next time our lunch will be piping hot. Better to say how we feel that tell other people who it might put them off . Best wishes x

Very impressed with the carvery available today, good choice of meats, also a wide range of vegetables with all trimmings you would need, very busy which shows how popular & excellent the carvery was.

Food here for Sunday lunches is great, choice of meats and huge selection of vegetables all good wonderfully. Have booked family Christmas Day lunch here and looking forward to it.

A group of 8 of us just spent over £150 to walk away thoroughly disappointed food was pretty much cold and average quality and the owner wanted us gone quickly straight after eating even though we had four young children in the group so we had to go up to get our food in two groups which took time plus we waited 15/20 mins for deserts. In total we was here about 1 HR 40 mins not very accommodating or understanding to family's with young children definitely won't be going back. Also the price of a single scoop of ice cream and froot shoots are excessive. Would also like to add we tried looking up prices ect before going and not very easy to find online.

First time I have ever been told we need to hurry up and leave. Horrified after we have just spent over £150. Waitresses were nice enough but the owner clearly thought we had taken too long even though we had 4 young children in the group, we had to go up for our carvery in 2 seperate groups other wise it would have been difficult, plus we waited 15 minutes for our desserts. Surprised the owner didn't put our coats on for us and show us the door! We were here about 1 hr 40 mins in total.

The carvery roast potatoes they tasted like they been deep fried and maybe frozen, had beef by choice unfortunately roar chewey, veg was nice, pudding apple crumble, crumble was stogie and bitter. Overall very disappointed

We went for Sunday carvery and it was very busy. Definitely glad we pre-booked. Great value, 5 choices of meat, big Yorkshire puddings, loads of different veggies and all the trimmings. We'll be going back without a doubt

Passing by on the off chance one Sunday. Fully booked, we never got to eat but the food looked amazing. Staff were very polite and apologetic. Not surprised it was all booked up. Well worth booking

Second time visiting the four crossroads for a Sunday carvery and sadly this occasion was a disappointment....food waa considerably cold at the 4:00pm sitting, we was also seated too close to the main door so with people coming in and out our daughter had to put her jacket back on due to being cold. hopefully if we go back we will ask for an earlier time slot and to be seated further into the pub.

We had Sunday dinner there yesterday and there were 5 choices of meat and there were 5 veg and the usual condiments and sauces. The meats were cooked perfectly and we have been before and will again. Highly recommend for lunch

Fantastic place friendly atmosphere lovely staff very welcoming, we had a Carvery credit to the Chef the food was excellent service was good, seated straight away finished our drinks off relaxing in the snug with the log burner going, would definitely recommend this for a great night out or day time lunch with friends or family.

Went to this restaurant last night the service and food was very good but I had ordered the sizzling dish pork fillet in sechzan sauce but they had not used pork fillet but used pork loin instead. Having been a chef for 50 years I can tell the from the texture of the meat it wasn’t fillet although the meal was good it was a little disappointing.

First time here. Overall, great place to eat and drink. Will be going back soon.

Terrible roast, service and takeaway system was given a paper plate to leave to take the item away. Also very over priced for what you get.

We had our wedding meal here, we was able to come the night before our wedding to decorate the area of the pub, the meal was excellent we was pleased with our choice of venue, the staff was so helpful.

Lovely Sunday lunch with a great choice of meats and vegetables. Staff were friendly. There was a steady stream of customers which proved it was good food at a good price. 19 mile drive for us to get there but certainly will be back soon.

We had a group of 6 booked for 6.30pm 4 of us got there at 6.15pm waited at the bar , two members of staff were talking about a phone order but not one acknowledgement from them to say we won't be a minute, but totally ignored 10 minutes later we got what would you like no apologies. We sat at our table and the other 2 in our group arrived. 7pm and orders taken. 8pm food arrives in dribs and drabs with 10 minutes between the first dish arriving and the last dish, we then had to ask for sauces and a steak knife. My wife had a chicken sizzler than was so hot it burnt the inside of her mouth, it was still to hot to eat after we all had finished. We told the waitress about the problem and her reply was do you want something else, not a care that my wife was in agony, it made her cry. The lack of customer service and lack of care is worrying. If your going to be in hospitality at least learn how to do it and train your staff.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals , lasagne , double burger , and 2 of the sizzlers ,,, cooked to order ,, so lovely and fresh , prices fair , our server , Sophie, was very efficient , and friendly

We had the Indian menu and not very good, was expecting better and it could have been better and in my opinion more authentic and hotter, burners would be great I am only commenting on the Indian menu and not the standard menu or carvery as haven’t experienced these

Took my mother for a carvery here for Mother’s Day. What can I say I was impressed! The staff were friendly, the service was quick, good prices and the food tasted delicious. The place was full, not a table free and the atmosphere and feel was good. Highly recommend and would definitely go again.

I have hestitated to write this review, as we used to love it here, but think they have lost their way a bit at the moment. New Years Eve was a let down, no draught beers and some things missing off the menu. Prior to this, we had gone for lunch and their was no chef. (They had apparently failed to arrive.) My husband had a bad pint and I began to feel ill through needing to eat, having waited for over 30 minutes. We then left to go elsewhere, but there was no apology from the owner. We haven't been back, since New Year and have now found some better more reliable eateries. Plus it has been quite cold when we last went there and the time before. We didn't feel like valued customers.

Would like to be able to comment on the food but we left after waiting over an hour just to get out orders taken. Understaffed and spending too much time on the Indian side. Concentrate on one or the other if you haven’t got the staff!!

The worst experience ever for a meal out!! Party of 5. Seated and drinks order taken in about 10 mins. Drinks arrived and took the food order. No pad as the waiter explained it’s all in my head I find it better that way save writing down and someone not being able to read my writing etc?? 3 starters ordered- all the same. 5 main courses. After 1.5 hrs now from being seated- no food and no more drinks orders taken at the table. Just about to go and complain at the lack of service and to see if the mushrooms had finished growing, as it would be nice to have the simple starters ordered an hr ago, at least. When food arrives at the table from a different waiter. However it’s the main course!!!! We sent it back and said 3 starters are still to come to the table. Then memory man comes to the table to apologise as he forgot to put the starters through!!!! Really sorry we can put them through now an the chief will make you fresh mains.?? Nope let’s just go with the mains as we need some food we have be waiting far too long. Ok I will sort you out deserts if you would like some after the main course and he apologised again. We took this opportunity to order a second round of drinks, thinking we may not get another one for a while. Good call as we were right. Two of the mains were chicken with stilton. But it must of been to most plain tasting stilton ever, or as a key ingredient it was missed out!! The other 3 dishes were nice. It’s now about 9:45 having sat down at 7:30 mains had been finished for maybe 20-25 mins (there was 3 tables approximately 15 people still seated). We had to go hunt down a waiter to get the desert menus and clear the table. We got two menus at the table and both were different, which came to light as we ordered deserts. 4 deserts were ordered and a third beer for myself! Outcome the deserts in a very reasonable time, however the 2 x sticky toffee puddings, we’re in fact ginger sponge !!! The beer never arrived!!! Another lifetime passes and we have to go hunt someone done for the bill. Initially thoughts were we shouldn’t be paying at all, however times are tough for these places and we should pay for what we have had. So memory man strikes for the second time of the evening and put the I will sort out the deserts, on the bill!!! I suppose he never said they would be FOC!!! We get them removed from the final amount, pay the bill and exit. NEVER TO RETURN. What a disaster.

Visited here early Thursday evening and it was excellent all round. We ordered from the curry menu and it was delicious. Really helpful & friendly staff. We'll be going back again for sure! Best curry we've had for ages!

Booked for 7pm. Seated and drink order taken by 7.05. Good start. Order taken by 7.25 for main course. Served at 8.30 NOT GOOD ENOUGH. lamb shank very good, scampi as it is, steak and ale pie had good pieces of steak inside soggy pastry and no sign of any ale flavoured gravy which made the steak dry. Frozen peas in this area of the country, with fresh veg aplenty is not acceptable. Desserts were good. 2.5 hrs for a 2 course meal. Excuse given was a large party for a buffet in the afternoon didn't leave time for the chef's to prep for evening. They had more than enough time to cook and deliver takeaways whilst we sat like lemons waiting for our meal at a pre booked table. Overall very disappointing. To their credit they did knock off the charge for our drinks, but only after I complained. They had been offering other disgruntled customers discount without being asked so why not us?

We just been for a fabulous meal at the four Cross Roads inn, we decided to go out last minute and was not disappointed had a great meal in friendly restaurant. Will return again soon.

We came for lunch as we were passing by. The Staff are friendly and helpful. There us a good menu and wide choice. We stuck with a couple if classics, which we enjoyed and the portions were good.
