Great food, warm, romantic, good service. Drinks and menu very good, always delicious, startes, burguers, main menu...all great.

An excellent lunch and a friendly welcoming staff. The menu has plenty of choice. The venue is cosy. The tables are pretty close to each other so it can feel a little cramped but that wouldn’t prevent us from going again. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would recommend.

A between Christmas and New Year couple of hours with friends. Food was good from a big choice of options. The ladies shared some duck pancakes and king prawns followed by a chicken katsu. I had mushrooms followed by Singapore noodles with added chicken. And the sensible one in the crowd had wings followed by a beef rendang curry. Service was fine and the atmosphere was good.

Excellent afternoon, great food & service. The place is well positioned to have drinks & snacks or dine at your leisure. Staff were brilliant. 👏

Small portion, expensive - share boards have increased in price and have gone much smaller. £28 for 2 small kofta, & 4 small kebabs with dips and a bit of bread.

I have been here before with my friends and my other half has never been before, so decided to take him and as always what lovely customer service, food was brilliant as always, would highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed. The staff are lovely, the waitress who served us was very attentive and great. If you want nice fresh food with a great service I highly suggest you try here.

Stopped off here on Saturday while passing through the village and we enjoyed the nicest tapas for lunch. The slow cooked chorizo in red wine was our favourite dish but everything we had was very tasty and perfectly cooked with great flavours. The warm bread was delicious. The portion sizes were good too. Service was very good and dog friendly aswell.

Great food, great atmosphere, very enjoyable. The menu is imaginative with some very different dishes as well as old favourites. We all VERY much enjoyed the food. Service was friendly, and it was busy and lively.

My friend and I took advantage of the nice weather and sat outside. Our waitress was a lovely young lady, cant commend here enough!. We ordered two different salads, chicken ceasar and a seafood one - both were delicious and of generous size. Having spoken to the new chef we can't wait to see what appears on the menu that he is currently working on, it sounds like some exiting new dishes and specials will be arriving, we will be back to be one of the first to try them! A really lovely couple of hours (excellent choice of drinks too).

We visited to celebrate 2 years living in Whalley - Great food and great service, we'll definitely be going back...(but we won't be waiting 12 months). Really nice experience.

Great bar in the centre of Whalley. Not as big as the Forum in Preston but just as good. Great drinks and friendly service. Couldnt ask for anything more.

I love everything about this place! From the decor, to the tasty food, to the amazing cocktails! The staff are super friendly too. Enjoyed it that much I visited twice in January! Would definitely recommend and will 100% be visiting again.

We had the most delicious meal and cocktails in FORUM BAR AND KITCHEN! The place had a great atmosphere too - a delightful place in the gorgeous village of Whalley.

It was my first time in Clitheroe and I must say it was amazing - it’s such a lovely place! To top it off the Forum did not disappoint. I ordered the chicken wings which were 10/10. Great service, very clean and all round a brilliant place. Will be visiting again on my next visit! Thanks

Visited crafty vintage last weekend and came here to get warm and enjoy a drink with my mum! We shared the noodles and they were delicious! The decor in this place is beautifully done and I loved the whole vibe.. felt like a nice bar on holiday with the music despite the cold lancs weather. Can’t wait to visit again!

This restaurant is on the ball when it comes to covid precautions, temperature taken at the door and hand sanitised before entry. Staff great, nice and friendly. Food, lots of choices, the reason for the average rating was down to the food.Firstly the plates, bowls were cold, hence the reason why the food was cold.Secondly for the price, for 3 pieces of chicken in my noodle stir fry isn't great value for money. It's a shame as I really liked the place and I would certainly give it another go, I hope it was just an off night.

The forum was wonderful, all dishes were excellent and tasty, can easily be enough for 2 sharing. We will be back.

I have scored 4 stars for the food and especially the Covid safety but let down by attention to detail on allergies. We visited with friends for a meet up after not seeing each other since before lockdown. Covid precautions are excellent, you queue to be greeted at the door, asked to use sanitiser, details checked and temperature taken before being shown to the table. Tables are divided with screens too and I noticed all menus being given a thorough clean, not just a quick wipe but a proper going over by Glenda (I have known Glenda for years). We were asked about allergies and I told the waiter I was allergic to soya, mustard and dairy.Vegan options are good (although no dessert yet) so we ordered two spinach and potato pakoras, padron peppers and crab cakes followed by vegan Quorn fajitas, two six spiced chicken and one vegan Quorn noodles.The food was good, the padron peppers were great, I love them and my husband thought his noodles were spot on and very spicy, the chicken dishes were good too... The Quorn vegan fajitas though were served with cheese and sour cream and both were quickly whisked away by the waiter. Not brilliant when you have mentioned your allergies and of course I would have queried, but it does make me nervous that chef put those on the dish. I also think something else should be offered as you are paying the same price as everyone else, even some salad or fries on the side would be nice included within the dish if they take things off the dish. I did enjoy the fajitas especially as I took some fiery hot sauce.Overall though service was great, very friendly, Glenda and the chap at front of house were brilliant and good spot on his part with whisking the sour cream & cheese away. Will definitely return .

Do not get me wrong, the food and service was absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend. However, drink prices were extremely high. £29 for a bottle of House prosecco???? To be fair we were on the eat out scheme (obviously doesn't include alcohol) but to charge £29 for a basic bottle of prosecco Just dampened the whole experience.... The food was delicious and well priced, why totally over charge on drinks. Won't be rushing back unless I'm having tap water with my meal!!!

Visited for the first time on Saturday - easy to book online and felt very safe with our temperatures taken and all asked to use hand sanitiser. Staff very friendly and attentive. I chose the duck pancakes and they were delicious with the treacle tart to follow. Can highly recommend - quick to serve the cocktails which were amazing.

Visited today for the first time and was not disappointed!! The decor inside was lovely and all the staff were really welcoming and friendly. There were so many nice things on the menu I didn't know what to choose! Ended up having the meze board to share and it was absolutely delicious!! Would highly recommend. We were a table of 6 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and the children's portions were huge and great value for money. I also tried two of the cocktails which were amazing!! I will definitely be going back!!

We dined as a couple from the dinner menu. The garlic prawns to start were delicious but the crab cakes were overdone. We were told that our main course was going to arrive at the same time as our starters. We said that we would prefer to eat our starters first. When we got the main course, meze, it was dried out rather than fresh, particularly the chicken kebabs. Otherwise, service was good and drinks were reasonable. We got the ‘Eat out’ discount without which it would have been overpriced for what we received.

Booked a table on Friday night for a meal and drinks with my friend and we loved every minute of our stay. The food was absolutely delicious from starters to dessert, I especially loved the chorizo starter. The cocktails tasted fantastic and there was a huge list to choose from. I haven’t been here for over a year and the service was so much better, very quick and attentive. We had several different people serve us and they were all so lovely. Thank you!

Popped in here last night for a cocktail - we hadn't booked a table but we were seated straight away by a lovely polite gentleman. We we both ordered cocktails which were delicious! Some of best cocktails we've ever had. Great atmosphere, food looked so good, service was excellent - so much so we've booked a table for a few weeks time. Can't wait!

We phoned here on Saturday 8th February early evening, on the off chance they might have a table free....the young lad who answered the phone said "it's saturday night mate, not a chance!"....so rude! We were in Whalley anyway so when we walked past and saw a few empty tables, we risked it and went in. We were given a very warm welcome by the young lady who promptly showed us a choice of 3 tables to sit at! Unbelievable that 30 minutes earlier we were told they were full!We shared 2 starters and 2 mains. Both courses were delicious and the service received was friendly and excellent.We would definitely return, thank you for an amazing evening....but management need to talk to their staff who answer the phone! Forum could be missing out on potential custom due to the ignorance of some of its staff!

At times the Forum is extremely busy and often the quality of the food suffers no doubt due to the demand on the kitchen. When we last visited we had a long term Vegetarian in our party who was pleasantly surprised at the food on offer.

The food whilst nice was overpriced. The stsff were ok but the waitresses could have been a little friendlier. Not sure we will eat there again.

We are a family of five and went for a birthday meal, food was excellent and the staff were very attentive. The manager went the extra mile when we ordered our food he noticed my daughter was vegan and when she ordered her drink he advised that it wasn’t a vegan drink as he had researched it. She was very grateful and I thought it was amazing that he went to the trouble. We would recommend this restaurant and even better that in January it has 25% off food.

After having almost everything off the menu some friends suggested the Malaysian beef curry. I had it tonight and it was superb !!!! All different flavors with bit of coconut etc. It was so good !

Went for lunch today with friends and I was very happy to see more vegan options clearly labelled (VG) and they now offer vegan Quorn in other dishes. I ordered avocado on sourdough and my husband the spinach and potato pakoras with soya yogurt dip to start. Mains were a vegan fajitas and rice noodles with piri fries.The dishes were excellent and very tasty and unlike many places the seasoning was spot on in all the dishes, so many places are either very sparing with salt and pepper or the complete opposite and its too salty. The vegan Quorn in the rice noodles plus the addition of peanut have really improved the dish, giving it plenty of protein and the peanuts give it texture. Our friends were equally impressed with their food, a mushrooms on toast, chicken fajitas and quesadillas with fries.I shall definitely be returning to Forum, service was friendly, professional and efficient. Looking forward to trying more of their vegan options.

Called in today for Christmas works lunch really nice place all the food looked lovely I had home made beer battered fish finger butty, fries and mushy peas. Very tasty service excellent I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Whalley

Have been here a few times this place is always good food and good service never disappointed a great selection on the bar and menu.

Met friends for a meal this evening, lovely warm atmosphere, excellent service and the food was really good. We only had mains but there was more than enough, we came away full.

We went for an evening as a group of 16. The welcome was warm and friendly. Drinks service was good. No one had starters but it took some time to bring out the mains. I had Moroccan Chicken Skewers with fries. The portion was so small I actually came away hungry - I didn't bother with dessert as they were quite expensive and I didn't want to risk another tiny portion. The 3 skewers were not much longer than cocktail sticks with probably a total of a third of a breast of chicken between them and small bits of pepper and onion. This was served with only a small portion of fries, small bowl of crème fraiche with chilli seasoning and nothing else! The taste was OK but nothing special. I paid £22 for the skewers, a glass of wine and a coffee....and still went away hungry!

Me and my Wife went out for Drinks and Food here. The Cocktail menu was excellent and had plenty of choice. The Food was good too. Staff all had smiles and chatty too Looking forward to going back to try more of the Cocktails!!

Good service and everybody was happy with their meals. The only issue we had with the place was the awful music, even the kitchen staff didn't seem to like it!

Warm welcome. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Varied menu. Huge portions. Well presented and extremely tasty. Rose wine very chilled ,just how we like it. We would definitely return.

Went for lunch with a friend. Was very quite but it was Monday. Food and customer service was excellent. Fourth visit in as many months and each time has been excellent. I booked prior though as sometimes it gets very busy. A little gem in Whalley. Highly recommend.

Saturday night, the place was rammed full , cocktails all round for everybody, got to admit the bar staff looked like they knew what they where doing the way they presented the cocktails.

Sharing plate of Meze. Loads to eat very tasty. Friendly and prompt service. Bottle of Shiraz. Good ambience.

Stopped off whilst in the area and looking for a spot of lunch. Falafel wraps, Lamp kebabs and kids burger were all great. Nice local Helles style later. Friendly, efficient service and good value too.

4 of us have just had a very nice lunch on Saturday, glad I booked early in the week because it was very busy. Waitresses waiting to show us to our table, they were all very friendly, helpful and nicely dressed. 2 of us had the Forum burger with fries, 1 had the meatballs and the other had chicken in the basket, then the ladies had a sharing desert. All of us really enjoyed our meals, well worth a visit. Enjoy

3 of us met there and had a quite nice dinner. Sunday to Thursday there are some discounts so it’s worth picking the day. With 8 pubs and bars within 100m it’s a great place to start the night.

This is a relatively small bar/restaurant. There is a wide variety of food and drink items with excellent attentive staff. Presentation is good and the food is of a high standard at reasonable prices. Recommended

I really like Forum Bar especially as they have a vegan menu, so met with a friend for lunch. I spoke to the waiter overseeing everything about my allergies and he brought me the allergen info and was very helpful. I chose vegan rice noodles without soy sauce with a side salad and my friend ordered a steak sandwich with fries.

Went for evening meal and drinks to celebrate a friends birthday, there was ten of us we all had food which was brought out so that we could all start to eat without having to wait for anyone, very pleasant and helpful staff even tho they were really busy

We went here on the 2nd February and there was a party off eight off us, we had a lovely big table up stairs, and we really enjoyed are meals, we had no complaints

Just popped in and very surprised ,tapas excellant very relaxed atmosphere clean and great location for a afternoon out.

Called early on a Monday evening and it was quiet, which was to be expected. We were shown to a window table which was fine apart from the fact that there was a speaker on the wall above the table and the music volume was a little high but not ridiculous. Decent menu selection to choose from and the food we ordered was pretty good especially the steak sandwiches. Service was OK. This place is in the centre of a busy village with plenty of other similar places around and does get very busy later in the week so wouldn't be my first choice, but absolutely no complaints from this visit.

The place was empty so no reason for bad service...waiter/waitress didn't listen to our order properly so we spent far too much time waiting for things to be corrected. Food average at best and who wants to eat food from an old chopping board.Wont be recommending or going back anytime soon

Rarely ever get a place to sit here as usually very busy when we go, but if you can put up with the wait and the standing about, the cocktails are good.

It's very loud (music and people) so don't go if you're after a chat. Also they take your drink before you've finished it so make sure you keep hold of it!!!

I have just visited this resturant with my daughter.. the service was awful! Very rude waitress, tutted under her breath when asked to bring extra bread - the chorizo was over cooked and the meat balls were raw - when I questioned this I was informed by the waitress that the chef said ‘that’s just the colour of the meat’

The Thai Green Curry was excellent and when I ordered the desert of a Chocolate Brownie. Everyone else’s deserts came first. The waitress appeared with the smallest brownie I’ve ever seen with a massive scoop of ice cream on top. I then asked the waitress where the other half was. At this time everyone on the table was laughing at me.

Good atmosphere for a weekday evening, needed to book . Ordered sea bass which was quite pricey . What arrived although very tasty, was inadequate and considering I wasn’t overly hungry I left feeling like I still needed to eat!

First visit to this restaurant and the message is mixed. Ordering 2 tonic waters in a large glass seemed to cause some confusion plus, as in many places, no ice is never adhered to. The menu was reasonable but large portions seem to be the order of the day.

Attended at 2015 on a Saturday night. The restaurant appeared busy but we were seated. Swift service, nice choice on menu. Meals were good quality. Great experience would happily return.

This little gem of a restaurant is ideal for that quick bite and cosy chat. The food is amazing and the Sun to Thu offers on the set menu are an absolute steal for what is delivered to the table. You will not be disappointed if you eat here. Friendly staff to boot!

I only wish I lived nearer Whalley! Had visited the Whalley Abbey and were looking for somewhere for coffee.
