Had a lovely break from the wind today plus an awesome hot chocolate topped with cream, marshmallows, caramel sauce and a chocolate flake. Absolutely delicious. We didnt try the food but we saw waffles come out they looked amazing and the milkshakes too. Lovely staff and quick service

Crepes, Waffles, Ice Cream, Coffee. The Hot Cherry crepe with ice cream was special.

Coffee is the best! Lovely ice cream. Nice sitting in the window watching the world go by.

Waffles or crepes, ice cream or coffee what ever you fancy for you can pop in and order and just enjoy your food or drink. Tried both waffles and crepes, just awesome. Price seems ok. Staffs are nice, food served quick, atmosphere was lovely. Toilet facilities available. Highly recommended.

This branch of Fortes is quite small and is primarily a coffee shop/ice cream parlour, unlike the more established restaurant which is in a more prominent location in the town centre. We recently visited for the first time after finding the cafe in the nearby M&S to be too busy on a Saturday morning. Surprisingly when we arrived at Fortes it was almost empty, although it had filled up by the time we left. I had a Caramel Macchiato, which is a drink I'd never tried before. I normally stick to "proper" coffees but on this occasion I was in the mood to try something different and I was more than happy with the drink I was served. I found it a bit odd though that an 8oz drink was priced at £3.30 whereas a 12oz drink was £3.40. Who would say to "no" to getting 50% extra for just an additional 10p? All in all service was fine, we weren't kept waiting and the prices were ok, if a little bizarre.

I've been lucky enough to drink Milkshakes all over the world, but the milkshakes here are without doubt the best I've ever had. We will not visit (or pass through) Llandudno without stopping in here. The crêpes are also to die for (and freshly produced in front of you). Only knocked a star off because the staff aren't the friendliest to be honest, almost borderline miserable.

I'm visiting in Wales from the US and we stopped for a milkshake after a long hike. I'm so glad we found Forte's Ice Cream Parlour. I've had a lot of chocolate milkshakes in my life, but that was the best one ever! The flavor was perfect. Others in my party were equally pleased with their peanut butter and banana, blueberry and clotted cream, bueno, and vanilla. The two staff members were both so friendly and gracious. Top notch service. As we left, we talked about going out of our way before we leave the area to enjoy another milkshake at Forte's. It's worth a stop!

Lovely place ,very nice pleasant staff. Dessert may appear to be more expensive than nearby but the quality and generous portions more than make up for it.

Coffee was amazing. No charge for oat milk. Best sorbet we've ever eaten. Lovely sorbet. Vegan friendly.

Nice drinks (although pricey - nearly £5 for a hot chocolate that came with only one marshmallow). Waffle came cold. Average customer service. Indoor and outdoor seats. I would recommend for a quick drink between the shops

At the higher price end but worth it. The quality of the ice cream was far superior to many of its competitors. We live in Parkgate on the Wirral and home to a certain 'famous' ice cream parlour. Fortes was better! My husband had a knickerbocker glory sundae which in all honesty, was enough for two to share. We will return on our next visit to Llandudno, which hopefully won't be too long ;-)

Amazing Ice Cream desserts. No trip to Llandudno is complete without a trip to Fortes Ice Cream Parlour.

We had ice cream sundae’s and they were excellent. My big tip would be to eat indoors if you can find a seat because even when it is hot (indoor has Aircon), you get to watch those outside in a constant battle with the seagulls, often with the gulls winning !. Anyway there is a good range of ice creams and sundae’s and reasonably priced for this kind of thing.

While walking around Llandudno we decided to find somewhere to stop for coffee however, we walked by this place and saw waitress bring out 2 knickerbocker glories for a couple sitting outside. Instantly we decided to get one of these each. They had a range of flavours and I couldn’t decide between Ferraro Rocher or a traditional one. We both ordered traditional knickerbocker glories at £ 7.95 each which I thought was a little steep but oh boy - it was to die for ! We sat outside in the sunshine and ate them with many people going past and commenting on how good they looked . We gave our dog 🐶 some and even he loved it ! They were worth the money and with really friendly staff it was a winner all round. Will definitely go back before we go home !

Waffles and ice cream, beautifully presented with plenty of choices for toppings. Lots of flavours of ice cream to choose from. A little pricey but worth it if you fancy a treat.

My 7 year old wants to give this ice cream parlour "a thousand stars", but we agreed on 5 once I explained that was the maximum! The ice cream is delicious, the coffee is good, and the service is great. Despite it being a busy school holiday afternoon, the young team of staff were efficient, pleasant, smiling and helpful. My little lad changed his mind so many times that by the time I came to order I remembered what he wanted but my mind went blank on what I'd chosen. The guy at the counter didn't show an ounce of the frustration he must have felt at the woman who's been looking at the cabinet in the queue and then had to examine all 30 or so flavours again. 🙈 Would highly recommend this place. If there's a queue, it's definitely worth the wait. Can't wait to visit again.

A cosy place to enjoy a coffee and cake whilst people watching through the large picture windows. Toasted teacake, scone and coffees were all good.

Brought the grandchildren in here for ice cream whilst staying in Llandudno for a few days. They both got just ice cream and my husband and I got an ice cream waffle to share. The desserts were lovely. The only problem is the girl behind the till did not seem happy to have customers. She took a minute to come and greet us after we approached the till even though she saw us walk in and she was quite impolite whilst serving us.

What can we say - really friendly staff, great range of flavours, good size portions, the place to go! Just a few steps off the seafront but what a place to go. Cannot recommend more highly - only away for a long weekend but went there 3 days running!

Went in here for coffee and Toastie but they didn't serve Toasties!! Need to be let into the toilet by staff which is rather embarassing, the stairs to the toilets were absolutely filthy and the smell terrible. The toilet itself was disgusting really filthy. I didn't use the toilet and went back down stairs and refused to eat there, as i got my coat the girl behind the counter just smirked at us, we left disgusted

Called in for a tea and coffee. Very clean. Prices very fair and excellent quality. One of the workers was kind enough to run after me when I left my phone on the table.

Coffee was extremely good. Toasted teacake was lovely. Drinking from a paper cup and eating out of a cardboard box with wooden untensils not at all nice. Don't understand why that was necessary when sitting inside. Won't be returning there.

We had ice-cream with waffles, there were a whole load of flavours to choose from and the portion was huge. It was very nice especially on an unexpectedly hot day in September. Yet another great find in Llandudno, it's the town that keeps on giving.

After eating at the restaurant yesterday we had to try the ice cream on a hot afternoon I had a lovely clotted cream and blueberry and the missus had a very tasty mango sorbet, very refreshing and reasonably priced.

Poor labelling of ice cream in respect of gluten content - a small few said contain gluten and some said did not. Most didnt say at all and staff very unhelpful when asked. Won't be going back.

Very tasty raspberry and white chocolate waffle. The portion was quite big. The hot chocolate is very sweet and good looking but I would not have it again as I would prefer less sweet and stronger. Many flavours of ice cream available. Very nice staff. A little pricy so be ready for the bill.
