Had a really lovely lunch. We had fishcakes special and the bacon, brie and chilli jam panini, both were delicious. The staff are always great and it's a really comfortable and pleasant place. Always enjoy visiting when we are in Cardigan.

We usually stop here for a drink or lunch when visiting Cardigan. Great local cafè with a good selection on their menu. Check the 'specials board' too. Great service from friendly staff and the place is clean and always busy. Will definitely continue to use.

Just had a fantastic meal here, I had the chicken special!…. And it truly was! It comes with a fantastic sauce , fredh vegetables and chips Well worth a visit!!

Popped in on the off chance and so glad we did. Delicious food, nutritious and fresh. We enjoyed a scrumptious salad, burger, sweet potato fries and cauliflower shawarma.

had the chili jam, brie and bacon pannini and some Parmesan fries, wow amazing food, every bite was a great taste sensation, and they also make the perfect cup of tea, will definatly pop in again when passing by.

I don’t often go out on my own but for this particular day I had to. I was made to feel welcome, it was a lunch time and was quite busy but I didn’t feel rushed or awkward being on my own, good atmosphere. My Caesar salad was absolutely delicious and the coffee is great.

The soup was so salty we could not eat it. Was quite nasty! Also they advertised strawberry milkshake at £2.00 I thought it would be quite nice... Brings out a small child's drink. They seem to be trying to be something they are not. I'd give this place a miss. Also my omelette was burnt! They still charged me for it!

Brilliant staff, brilliant food and such a relaxing atmosphere. My little one has some social difficulties and can struggle to eat in public. However, she eats something here every single time we come. She is so relaxed here. Added bonus for us as we also get to enjoy the delicious food and eat out as a family. Chicken special highly recommended. Thank you so much. We look forward to visiting again in the spring.

We popped in here for lunch as we were just visiting the area and was very pleased with what we found. We had to wait around 10 minutes for the table which we saw as a good sign. The staff were really friendly and the food selection was very good. We chose 2 dishes from the specials menu, topped hash browns and open fish sandwich. They were both absolutely delicious and definitely worth the money. Excellent service and friendly staff. Cannot recommend this place enough.

i feel slightly saddened having to write this but it has to be said. before covid this café was very very good, commonly a 30 minute wait for a table at lunch. a wide range of special dishes and an extensive menu. like others since covid all of this has changed. called in at lunchtime recently, no wait for a table and a friendly waitress service. the coffee is now of very poor quality, prices have risen just like everyone else but they have reduced the range of available menu choices. i ordered mushroom stroganoff from the special board because my favourite cawl has been removed from the menu. roughly £15 i think, i received a bowl that consisted of 3/4 boiled rice with roughly 2 tablespoons of homemade pre prepared sauce plopped on top that. although the sauce had smoked paprika sprinkled it really didn’t have quite the right taste. maybe it’s the stock? the sauce had green peppers and a small amount of onion but literally 1 small mushroom cut into 4 pieces. this is very clearly poor value for money. a table nearby also had the stroganoff and their reaction was clearly unimpressed. my wife’s dirty fries were okay she said but not wow. the greek gentleman who i’m assuming is co owner is probably a nice guy but just doesn’t appear to be that happy. front of house we as paying consumers expect to see smiles, false or not it doesn’t matter. so to sum up - get another chef, make the menu better value for money and concentrate on front of house first impression. a little revamp of decor as it’s now looking a bit gloomy and some drinkable coffee; you’ll be back on track.

Delicious breakfast! Really reasonably priced, I had the sourdough toast with smoked salmon and the portion was fantastic. The pumpkin spice latte is also very tasty!

Very nice little pit stop location for the family, breakfast was nice and good quality. Nice tea and latte, would recommend the American pancakes or sourdough toast with scrambled egg and bacon.

Very nice for breakfast and coffee.

Had read good reviews so went for lunch. Eventhough they we were very busy we were seated quickly. Our lovely server came an I ordered the chicken special with sauté potatoes and veg. Hubby had the gourmet burger and asked for sauté potatoes as a different option which wasn't a problem . Not a long wait before our food arrived. Chicken was absolutely delicious....moist but with a slight caramelised touch.....sauce was gorgeous, potatoes were yummy and the fresh carrots were perfectly cooked. Portion size was very generous. Hubbies burger..Chicken, crispy bacon, brie, tomatoes, onions and a 'jam' topping. The staff were attentive and professional.....but were friendly. For the quality of the ingredients a reasonable tariff and well worth it. A thoroughly enjoyable lunch. Thanks to all. Ps. That Chicken special was a triumph. Wish I'd asked for the recipe.

We popped in for some breakfast at 11am. I simply had a bacon and avocado sandwich and a cuppa and it was lovely. Always great service in there and the food was great and service quick. I’ve been coming here for years and would always recommend this place for breakfast or lunch.

Popular lunchtime venue which perhaps had outrun its capabilities in the kitchen. Mainly burgers with a limited few specials.Service was slow and range on the menu limited. Staff were fine, food hot and fresh, though it didn’t all arrive at the same time. I found the loaded fries-which would not have been my choice but there was not much left -tasty but rather stodgy and lacking in vegetables. We arrived towards the end of lunchtime service which may account for the reduced menu.

We went there for a coffee. It was during the school holidays, so it was busy! Good service, good food and friendly staff. We will visit again, out of holiday time. Thank you.

Popped in for lunch, probably slightly quieter than previous weeks as the children are back to school, but plenty of room tables cleared and nice and clean Food was lovely nice to find different sandwich and panini fillings to the norm. Lovely atmosphere and didn't have to wait long to be served or for food. Definitely will pop back.

Food was SO good! The Parmesan fries, wow! My husband said it was the best omelette he’d ever had! The Bakewell slice was so good! I would have happily eaten more! Lovely cafe with friendly staff and great food, highly recommend a visit :) we will definitely be back when visiting Cardigan again.

Lovely cooked breakfast and environment

Nice little cafe in the middle of Cardigan. We went at lunch and had to wait 10 minutes for a table but after that we weren't rushed at any point. Drinks and food order were taken promptly and food was lovely, the staff were very pleasant and helpful. With a good range of food and drinks, there is also a special board with a good selection of food! There is 1 toilet that can cause a bit of a backlog at times! Overall, I am very impressed, and we will return!

Always make sure we visit when in Cardigan. The food is delicious. Freshly made and locally sourced. There is always a specials board with something different. Cakes are mouth-watering! Staff are lovely. Highly recommend a visit.

Good food pity about the staff FFT is a good looking and cozy coffee shop. It is well laid out with a variety of different types of seating. The coffee was good & the food well presented & cakes moist & tasty. In most cases that’s what you want, but it would have been so nice to have had some form of pleasantry from the staff. Not a single smile, or willingness to make our visit memorable for the right reasons. They insist with signs all over the coffee shop that you have to have your order taken at the table & pay at the table. Nothing wrong with that if you can get the staff to come to the table to take the order. We had to ask for our order to be taken after waiting a very long time. No apologies for the wait & please just give a smile! We’ve never seen such glum staff in our lives. Such a pity as everything else was very positive. So PLEASE try to remember a smile costs nothing & makes everyone that little bit happier.

Always my favourite place to eat when in Cardigan

Really lovely cafe. Breakfast menu only until 11.30, I had a large breakfast which was delicious. The bacon was particularly good! We arrived just before 11.30, so my kids waited and ordered paninis with a side of curly fries. The paninis were lovely, with one commenting that the coleslaw was "outstanding", and the other said the curly fries were the best they'd ever tasted! Would highly recommend.

Outstanding breakfast - best we've had in a very long time. Staff were happy to swap items to create a hybrid vegan/traditional breakfast. Coffee good too. Average price £9-10 for full brekkie but worth it. Not greasy just very tasty! Plenty of attentive staff available.

Cafe with nicely spaced tables, table service and friendly attentive staff. We each got a latte (which was really nice) and their cooked breakfast which was good quality (especially the butcher's bacon). The best thing for me was the gluten free options for toast and sausages!

Hot chocolate was amazing and the setting inside is really nice. Did not enjoy my chicken mayo baguette, was hardly any mayo and too much butter but somehow still dry. Salad was mostly grated carrot.

Stopped here for breakfast, and was not disappointed. The place was clean, had a good atmosphere, the staff were ok, very helpful.... However, all this did not matter, it was simply the best vegan breakfast I have ever had. Fantastic.
