Excellent stalls in the marketplace. Which is open weekends and some stalls on Fridays too. Stalls open also during school holidays. Excellent range of food available enough the goods yard along with huge screen for sporting events. Live music, details of which can be found on the harbour arm website. Some excellent artists are performing free in a great setting. Carparking available, although an easy walk across the harbour from the town and old high street. Well worth a visit.

Its a great place for street food and bustling vibes. Amazing selection of restaurants/huts, my go to sole kitchen, that burger, Greek bus, dinos pizza. Tons of people come in for the livelihood of the place. Because of covid, they have set up the QR scan table service, order on the phone then they come to you, also its a live app so if they get busy they will close but come back later on the app then you can order again. Only downside is the area is too busy and sometimes uncleaned tables but with that crowd , help yourself to do that, got your own two hands too, just sanitise afterwards. 2022: go to the end of the lighthouse, there is a champagne bar , see opening times.

A super place to visit if you're in town any time of the year. The restored train station and railway lines add a certain charm to the place, and the old wagons and units have been integrated imaginatively as bars, bistros and cafés. So we went on a nice trip to a seaside town where a fun Christmas market was advertised. On a arrival there was NOTHING but a beautiful view of a building falling down in the shape of a ship and what appeared to be the local drunk community congregating in disability scooters. So even more amazed to be charged 3.50 to park for nothing at all to be open. If you want to go somewhere at Christmas DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO FOLKESTONE THIS CHRISTMAS.

Mooie locatie!

Clearly money and time are being spent on renovating the old platforms, and the surrounding goods yards, to make it a food, and a art hub. It is easy to see the history of both the station and harbour. A visit in season and on a fine day would show of the work and allow you to enjoy food and drink whilst watching the sea or looking at the exhibits rather than a cold wet day in March!
