Had the best cup of tea and slice of Bakewell tart ever! This local independent community focused coffee shop is amazing. As you might imagine, such a community place is great for babies too, I felt very welcomed when I went with my little baby. I can't recommend this place enough...you must go!! **Update, been again amd still brilliant! Pumpkin cake was delicious (almost too good as by the time I'd got my camera out we'd eaten most of it.

Great cake, coffee and staff are amazing. I give my poor rating on the fact it is cash only. My elderly mother wants to go in but she doesn't have a bank card only a basic atm one to get cash out. It is unfair the elderly are usually the ones that this silly no cash thing affects. I also would like a choice as sometimes low on funds in my account and want to use cash, all customers should have the choice

Probably the best coffee shop in Bicester, if not Oxfordshire. We are frequently going to FLTR because of its quality. I've had coffee in pretty much every cafe in Bicester and Oxford and I can say, by miles, FLTR tops them all.

Nice coffee place for couples/sólo larger indoor space to relax for an hour or so if needed, good coffee selection and cakes/pastries/sandwiches always friendly staff

Decided to check out FLTR coffee, had quite the wait for the coffee, maybe just less than 20 minutes, it also took 25 minutes for the panini’s which were actually toasted sandwiches. The coffee I had was ok, quite milky, nothing special in my opinion.

Exceptional coffee. Best in Bicester if not Oxfordshire. Bicester really needs more coffee shops like FLTR. Blows all competition out of the water. Living in Melbourne Australia for the past 11 years I would regard FLTR as high as a Australian superior coffee shop for quality of the roast. UK seems behind regards to quality coffee shops. Bicester really needs another FLTR cafe. I do not rate any other coffee shop in Bicester. The toasties are nice and tasty also!

Popped in yesterday 21/9 for the first time. Lovely smiles and friendly greeting by a young man who served me a tasty coffee and cake, service was very good. The lady even enquired if I was being looked after whilst my coffee was being prepared -- I certainly was. It's a bit out of the way and you have to know that it is there, but it is a hidden gem.

On our way to Bath for the weekend, my husband & I and 2 friends stopped off for a coffee to break up the journey. What an excellent find. Coffee and Cake, we had different things and they were all delightful. Staff very friendly. Definitely recommend. If we’re ever that way again, it’s a must stop off ! Excellent start to the weekend break.

One of the best, if not the best coffee shops in the area. All drinks I’ve had there have been great and they even put motivational compliments on the lids! Food is good too!

FLTR made me absolutely the best soya latte that I have ever had! It was silky smooth and utterly delicious! The coffee blend was sublime. I enjoyed it so much that I had a second one which I enjoyed just as much. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Great coffee shop opposite Bicesters favourite pub (The Nightingale) Effective Covid precautions, decent brews, nice ambience, what more do you need when the queue for the chemist is stretching into the car park and you'd sooner wait indoors with a drink and a chance to read the paper 😊

Great coffee and friendly staff. The decor is warm and welcoming too. If you have time to sit and try their cakes, you won’t regret it! They even have a mobile coffee van on the Gravel Hill estate as well. A brilliant local business offering quality service and products.

FLTR=Fantastic Coffee. Nice independent coffee shop with great service and even better coffee. We also tried the toasties which were delicious. They are well set up for the current COVID-19 situation with screens at the tills, plenty of hand sanitiser and a very clean environment. We sat outside as they currently not doing seating inside. The order was taken and table service was provided. All in all, a good experience.

Lovely coffee and a good atmosphere but very crowded.

The only place a great coffee can be bought in Oxfordshire. Always seem to have a variety of V60s available and parking available right outside the building, which alone sets it apart from the competition. Josh has also been extremely helpful when selecting a drink and also provided valuable insight into the selection to choose from.

I was looking for a half decent morning coffee and spotted a sign for 'local centre' which led me to find FLTR. At 9:00, on a murky Thursday morning, this little coffee shop was busy... Which is always a good sign. Despite being busy, staff were friendly, chatty, obviously knew their regulars, obviously knew their product, and obviously cared about it. Not just the quick 'americano' of the coffee chain barista. I had to select a 'filter' from their selection of different filter coffees. Made to my taste and with care. Good coffee and great customer care.

A really special place, serving top quality coffee and other interesting beverages. I had a couple of mugs of Turmeric Latte, the first with sweetener (on the advice of the staff as it was my first time) and the second without. Both were served with a sprinkling of cinnamon and were absolutely delicious. My wife had a filter coffee which I gather was equally enjoyable. We also had very nice bacon, brie and cranbury toasted sandwiches and cake. There is board on the wall, displaying the place's values - Coffee, Community and Generosity and they were all very evident. The staff were clearly very interested in everyone who walked through the door - not just as customers but as human beings! I was surprised how many staff were duty at the time (compared to the staffing levels I experience at my local coffee chains) but that gave them the time to chat to everyone and make us feel very welcome. That attitude of hospitality seemed to be infectious. Other customers chatted to us and others as though we were familiar friends, not first-time visitors. I left the place, feeling that I had experienced something very different and special and wishing that I lived in Bicester rather than a 40 minute drive away.

Only one table free when we arrived today, as usual there was a good atmosphere! Coffee tasted good but not really hot enough despite me requesting it!?

Lovely local cafe, service is always friendly and prompt. The coffee has been excellent every time and their passion for it really shows. The cakes and snacks are great too; they always have gluten free options when we go, which we appreciate. This place is a gem for us locals and in my opinion is worth a trip from further afield.
