Had a the inferno pizza. It was aight. Wasn't that spicy which is a shame Absolutely come here during happy hour when you can get a main for less than £9

Really enjoyed our meal here on a midweek break, top class service, great food and a really nice atmosphere. We live near Chester and the value for money here was exceptional.

The pasta I had the pleasure of consuming was of exceptional quality, surpassing any previous pasta experiences. The pizza, when fresh, is also quite delectable. Patrons have the option of dining in or taking their meals away. All ingredients utilized are fresh. I wholeheartedly endorse this establishment for romantic dates or family dinners. Although the official opening time is 4:30 pm, customers are permitted to wait inside prior to the opening. We arrived at 4:05 pm and were graciously allowed to wait inside. Takeaway orders can be placed at the bar, where customers can comfortably wait for their meals to be prepared. The scampi was exceptionally fresh and flavorful, accompanied by a crisp and refreshing salad. However, the highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the chips and cheese, which were truly the best in town.

A great little hidden gem in the centre of scarborough. Great Italian cuisine which is not only delicious but great value for money. They do a happy hour (best to check the times on their website). The service is pretty quick and the portions are generous. Great atmosphere and it's always been very busy which is a great sign. Been there a few times and they never disappoint. The pizzas are great and authentic and plenty of choices on the menu. Lots of great starters which can be shared.

This place has been part of our family for years visits as teenagers now with kids etc always great food and fab value. Met school friends recently … amazing garlic bread as ever but the rest was awful .., literally tasteless soggy pizza and the most 1980 s side salad no dressing and basic. Seems standards have slipped or have we all got used to more ??

Loved the atmosphere, the food and the service. The food portions are amazing and more than sufficient for two people. Taste was authentic. The garlic bread and pizza was 14 inch (sufficient for 2-3 people). All the items are quite reasonably priced and mostly under £10. The staff was helpful, considerate and friendly. The vibe and Italian music was pleasing. The cherry on the top was they served us with nice scoop of vanilla icecream and firestick and with background music playing happy birthday! The experience was delightful. Will definitely visit again.

Brilliantly as always. Love the garlic bread and galic mushrooms for starters. The fillet steak off the specials menu cooked to perfection. Aleays great griendly service.

Wonderful authentic Italian restaurant

A busy place even this early in the year so you need to book. The staff were brilliant. The mussels out of shell as a starter were brilliant and plentiful. The Calzone was disappointing and the sauce with it like bought tomato soup. The cannelloni was fulll of meat and again plenty of it.

The restaurant was warm & inviting as usual. Plenty of staff all friendly & helpful. Was so busy was difficult to get through to our table & we were a bit hemmed in but the food was fantastic & the happy hour great value. Had a starter & a main & couldn’t fault either.

Another excellent meal at our favourite restaurant and probably the best Italian restaurant in Scarborough. Service very good and the food was excellent. Without doubt the cheapest Italian in Scarborough but it is still our favourite restaurant.

It was not very good. We felt the food was just rushed through without much care or concern. Red wine which smelt of Vinegar. Awful horrible Cannelloni, like soup. Garlic bread uninspiring, try putting on some garlic and actually cooking it! Basic stuuf not done very well. Godd staff and service was the only plus here. Will not be back anytime soon. There are much better place in Scarborough.

First time here and was impressed with everything here. Food was amazing, service was excellent. Unfortunately for me I live in essex so this isn't my local pizzeria but when I'm next in Scarborough I will be sure to pop in.

Amazing food always and friendly staff who are more than accommodating.

I've visited Florio's, about 4 times this year, each time the food and service is second to none. I was supposed to be meeting people, but ended up eating on my own. The service, in such a busy place, is second to no one. The pizza totally delicious. The young Italian waiter is full of humour and looked after me from start to finish. A credit to his employer. As I paid my bill the young waiter handed me a boxed Italian panettone cake, saying it's a gift to our regulars. I explained although I enjoy Florio's, I am limited to how often I go. He politely replied, we recognise you sir. I can't fault this place, for a starter, main course, and 2 beers, £25. Thank you.

The menu is wide ranging and lots of familiar dishes on it. The food wasn’t for me. It was from a different era of Italian food in the U.K. circa late 80s/early 90s. My pizza was very cheesey to the point that it drowned out other ingredients and had a film of oil in the middle which made the base soft. My eating companions had risotto and that seemed better but again very rich. On the plus side atmosphere good and service good.

Excellent meal at our favourite restaurant and probably the best Italian restaurant in Scarborough. Service very good and all the family enjoyed their meals. Highlight of Florios dining is always the starters garlic bread. The favourite is the tomato one but cheese is nearly as good. We usually have two of each when there are over 7/8 family members.

Walked in and managed to get a table within 10 mins at about 7.45 on Friday night. Staff were welcoming. Food was beautiful and arrived in good time. Atmosphere was warm. The price of everything was very reasonable. Would defo return and recommend.

A lovely place to eat and the tomato garlic bread lived up to expectations. Just a shame they didn’t have a beer on draught.

I have been coming here since they opened but this visit was the first this year. Group of 6 adults one child. Seated quite quickly considering they were very busy. Expected lengthy wait for drinks and order. Very noisy and lively atmosphere. I ordered a steak for my main. I also order a sauce with it for which of course I expected to pay extra. But I asked for my sauce separate and was told there would be an extra charge for this. I sought clarification. The way it is charged is either steak and sauce together or a steak and sauce separate which is 4.50 more. I said I wanted to order a steak and sauce but did not want my sauce over the steak. I was told this can not be done unless it is charged separately and I pay extra. I have never heard anything like this in my life. So I spoke to the owner about it and he said I could have it as a steak and sauce but served separate. Back to the food. Garlic bread special with tomato, chilli and blue cheese was good. Scampi and garlic mushrooms were also enjoyed. Mains, two Sirloin steaks were cooked as we wanted served with chips and salad, separate at no extra cost. Three of us had pasta dishes. It was evident from these that corners are being cut to save money. The fusilli pollo was so dry, lacking in both sauce and flavour. Penne salmon was also dry with tiny little flecks of salmon. Chicken skewer came with chips instead of rice. This was changed but for some inexplicable reason they had dumped a load of tomato sauce over the rice. This was not touched and at not one point did any server ask if it was ok. Drinks were never offered so had to go back to the bar and reorder. When they came one was forgotten. i also asked for a Grappa but had to spell it to the server as they had never heard of it. Why do they not know what they have ? Total bill was 175. I left no tip. I found service poor and non- attentive with a smattering of rudeness (steak and sauce), ignorance and forgetfulness. The food was good in places and poor in others. There are many Italian restaurants in town and Florios was always my choice for good food in a friendly atmosphere. Not any more. The quality of food has deteriorated, in my opinion to make the money go further, but I think this will just drive customers away. I will not be back of my own volition. EDIT : The owner contacted me on Facebook messenger. He made no apology for anything but just said I should not have said what I said publicly and that I never said I got a free Grappa. I did, when I paid. He said his staff had moved the tables for me due to my disability, yet then criticised me for being ABLE to get up and down the stairs. This ableist attitude truly shocked me especially when one considers there is no provision at all for disabled customers. Nothing. I thanked him for his reply and blocked him. I then got a message from the previous owner also haranguing me for daring to criticise. My original review is a copy of what I put on Trip advisor. The owner has re-posted and put on that I threatened him about the extra sauce charge. Utterly ridiculous and he has then gone on to divulge personal details. I have tried to contact TA to have these remarks removed but had no luck. I cannot add these remarks to my TA review hence they are here. Slanderous and discriminatory behaviour. Avoid

I visited with some friends at happy hour so very reasonably priced menu. The restaurant was packed with a buzzing atmosphere. The food is simple authentic Italian that packs taste. Thoroughly recommend the garlic bread with tomato - delicious!

We visited here recently having been recommended during a trip to Scarborough. The place looks great and was busy. We arrived at around 7:30 and by 8:30 it had cleared out somewhat. We all ordered pizza and having travelled across Italy this was far from authentic. The cheese was a mixture of mozzarella and cheddar, far from authentic. However, the dough was nice. The staff were very friendly and the price point wasn't too bad.

The food was amazing, we had garlic bread and a pizza and it was very delicious with a lot of cheese and toppings! The starters and the main dish came at the same time which wasn't exactly what you're hoping for. Good experience overall though.

We had the best waiter he was funny, kind and had a big smile.

We booked a table on a Saturday night at our regular Italian restaurant. It was heaving as always but there are plenty of great staff who worked very hard to please. We had a wonderful meal and we all left happy and stuffed! After many years of going to Florios you get used to the noise. Everyone enjoys themselves, the food is not expensive and everyone has a happy time with many birthday celebrations. We regularly take our grandchildren and parents to celebrate a birthday.

Lovely, family run Pizzeria in Scarborough town centre. Away from the lights and noise of the seafront, we had a great, family meal here.

Fillet steak special was abit small for a £30 special. I have bigger steaks for same price in a proper steak restaurant. Served a warm j20 without a glass and ice. Lovely inside however had extremely loud kids table which made it hard to hear my friends

The alcoholic drinks were watered down. I was with a group and we agreed that certain dishes were bland and none of us ate more than half. The menu was in such a small font that I had to have it read to me by a friend. Certainly, I will not be going back. It was too warm and too loud additionaly the pizzas were not cut properly. Very inaccessible stairs down to get into the restaurant and stairs to get to the toilets. Disappointing. Don't id people for drinking, website isn't working and they can't be bothered to respond to reviews.

Even though the restaurant was quite full already and we hadn't reserved a table, the servers got us a table. Service was overall excellent, competent and nice. The pizzas are good (could use some more spices, but salt and pepper were available) and the portions are big. Conclusion: great restaurant for hungry people with a love for nice service and good wine.
