Total garbage. I have sent email to EHO and local council. Food standards awful. No display of Food safety rating. Bought naan, total burnt from back, wasted my money and dinner was ruined. Will never forget it.

Bought 8 naan, at price of £1.20 each. 5out of 8 were burnt. When claimed to Resturant, they apologised and said they will compensate next time. Went to pick jaan and showed messages of conversation the staff said they can compensate 0.40p off the total bill. 😳🥺. I was shocked and stunned to hear, when I challenged they said who you talked to… they totally denied the fact showing messages… what a total mess. Sorry Resturant, expensive cheap quality food and have no knowledge of how to deal and compensate customers when mistake is of Resturant.

Best burgers ever always great deals also and very well priced Strongly recommend with chips also and pizzas great too.

Have ordered here many times but been getting worse and worse. Did not write a review or complain too much before as thought would give them the benefit of the doubt. Just ordered delivery with a meal but no meal, so I called up and was told they do not do a meal with large doner but no one mentioned this on the phone, just took the order and delivered it with no problem taking my money. Previously in the past had stale chips too and manager argued Previously and this time the manager or whoever is on the phone was very rude and does not admit their mistake or apologises but argues or hangs up the phone! Have lost another customer as I see from the reviews this place is badly rated and going downhill! Look at the photo for the £12 large doner! What a joke!

wrong food was sent and when trying to fix the issue, the manager was rude and kept hanging up. The food that did arrive was rubbish as well. Even 1 star is a compliment to these lot

Ordered from these guys, but was absolutely shocked at how messed up the experience was. I ordered for a group and many items were missing. On top of that, the food we did receive was horrible! Spoke to the 'manager', who would not admit the mistake and kept hanging the phone up. I am done with this place... sticking with Pepe's Peri (as I should have).

Ordered food from here on Xmas day and was absolutely disgusting!! The fries with a burger meal were hard, burnt and scraps from the fryer. The donner meat was old, cold and too salty. And they had missed items from my order.Never ordering from here again as these people don't know how to run their business.

Well well well, what can I say, if you want unflavoured plain fried chicken, go for it because that’s what I was giving , threw it in the bin, probably won’t have end very well if I’d went back, was wondering why he keep looking at me as he’s frying, I’ve learned my lesson, if it’s not on display, don’t buy it

After a disappointing kebab box meal last year, we decided to give them another try. I must say it was soo much better and we got what we asked for. We will definitely go back as it was really good 👍🏼

Ordered 2 donor kebabs and chicken nugget meal for my son. Driver turned up with 1 kebab and 2 portions of chips. Called flaming house and tried to explain the situation. Eventually they got it and within 20 mins the driver was back again with the correct items but upon taken it out to dish up it was all absolutely freezing, so they had obviously not issued a new order but just returned with the old one. I called to complain but yet again struggled to explain how disgusting the food was, cold and had to be nuked only to get a response of "we won't deliver to you again"! Disgusted! we do usually order once in while from this place but the rudeness and complete lack of giving a crap I will never order from them ever again. We all now feel completely sick and nauseating.

Ordered a 10” kebab box meal last night, it was delivered. The box meal arrive and it was smaller than advertised. We called and complained. They said they would correct it. All we got back was the original food in a bigger box, 10”as advertised which was stone cold. Called again only to be ignored. We called again to rectify the situation and they leave us on hold and refuse to discuss this any further. This company will be reported I refuse to use them again, and would advise you all to do the same to save you from disappointment and loosing your money

We placed an order through Uber, which was accepted. An hour later we hadn’t received our food. We called the restaurant several times with no answer despite it being within their opening times. They took our money, provided no update and refused to answer the phone. Absolutely terrible service.

My husband got food poisoning from their pizza. Avoid at all costs. Update: I, too, got food poisnoning. There must have been cross-contamination. It took us days to recover.

Ordered a fried roll, had a bite and bit into a bone, removed it and carried on thinking it was a one off and bit straight into another bone. Rang for a replacement and was told I’d have to pay for it and they refused to do anything. Won’t be using this place again. Steer clear if you like kebabs without bones

Not sure what all the negative reviews are about been going here for years food is nice with good portion sizes not too expensive either.

Order for delivery about once every 3 weeks and the staff are great, prices are decent and the food always arrives hot. Lamb Kebab isn't my favourite as find it has a funny taste but all the other food is great.

Disgusting cold chicken kebabs. Chips cold and uneatable. Waste of time and money. Avoid like the plague. Did call to complain but wasn't interested. Very disappointed and hungry

Probably the worst experience I've had ordering food. First of all it took more than an hour to deliver hour food and when it came it was cold. We called and specifically said that we need sauces yet they provided us with none. We called back and were told they can't do anything about it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Food well overcooked. Late delivery despite ordering well before close. If you can't be bothered to send out decent food then maybe you shouldn't do food at all. Disgraceful!!

Don’t order from here.... you order one thing 4 x chicken kebab rolls and you get something completely different 4 x lamb kofta kebab rolls and then they argue and tell you that they didn’t send lamb kofta kebab rolls. Wasn’t nice either!

Just had an unedable soggy and tasteless kebab delivered from Flaming House in Hemel Hempstead. Ordered 1 extra large lamb donner with salad and no sauce & 1 large lamb donner with salad & a pot of chili sauce. We had 1 extra large soggy lamb donner & 1 large soggy lamb donner covered in chili sauce. Both kebabs were tasteless unedable, ended up with chips and the extra pitta's we ordered. Even the dog turned it down.

Have eaten here many times before and am a big fan. Delivery can be a little slow, but portion size is large and flavour is great. Used their website and collected earlier today and was quick.

Flaming house has always delivered my food on time with great potion sizes. The food is always hot and I’ve never had any bad experiences with this business!!

Took more than an hour, without no updates on Ubereats app, wouldn't pick up phone, not cold but not warm at this point, but at least food was good

An absolute joke. Delivery took an hour and 40 minutes. Three phone calls later and no apology and refused to give a refund. Pizza arrived burnt and tastes awful. Delivery driver and staff rude when speaking to you. Such poor customer service. Will never use them again. How hard is it really to get an order of a pizza and one piece of chicken right!!!

First time using this take away . Naan bread was nice , chips were nice , bbq ribs and chi Ken korma were awful . Ribs dry and chewy and tasted like both lamb and pork ?! And the korma sauce was runny and orange , the chicken was dry chunks and I wouldn’t say it was fresh either . Very disappointing and won’t use them again 😞

The worst take away EVER! We fancied a kebab so I thought Id try a new one. I ordered a chicken Tikka on Naan. They did curries so didnt think they could get this wrong and ordered my OH a chicken tilka and lamb. BIG mistake. It arrived cold the chicken tikka was like taken from a tesco value packet chciken tikka and cut sliced very thin ( exactly the same) i dont think they even heated it- lime fridge, naan deliver- was chilly and stuck together. No real flavour and red to the edges. The chips were cold and the lamb on his was donar lamb. Dont bother - we was on the toilet for 2 days after this and in bad pain! Stick to what you know or cook yourself because these dont know anything about food!

Very rarely get kebabs but have started to use these guys as my number 1 takeaway. Spot on!

Ordered 2 flame grilled burgers and got sent two southern fried chicken in pitta again wrong order again called and clearly starts on my receipt chicken burgers yet tried to say I ordered fried chicken in pitta con on cob dry and tasteless chips soaky I will never order here again this is fourth time Iv had issues with this place and didn’t learn my lesson surely have now £18 quid wasted

Mildly disappointing first order from Flaming House. Having requested no onions in salad the salad seemed to consist of more onions than anything else. Kebab meat tasted pretty old too. Shame

Order was over 30mins late! My husbands Flaming lamb kebab meat was inedible. Ordered chicken doner and chips, received LAMB doner meat, I cannot eat lamb, my chips were soggy from the lamb and tasted like lamb which also made them inedible. I really should have paid more attention to the bad reviews instead of the good ones!!

I ordered a kebab roll in naan and chips. The food was really tasty especially the naan and chips. I just would have preferred some sauce on my kebab (which there wasn’t an option for) other then that it was lovely.

Delivered food to the wrong address( lost track of my order). Requested that they remake the food.. instead same food delivered but reheated.. gave my personal number to 3rd party without my consent as amazon contacted me re the delivery. Poor communication between the shop and the delivery driver. Requested compensation but they refused.

Tried to Deliver 30 mins before arrival time given. We wasn’t back home yet and no answer when called restaurant or delivery driver.

Food taste was not good. They send warm bottle of coke no even cold. No tissues no sauces and no cutlery was send with the order. Very disappointed with the order.

So I’m a bit confused... we ordered two fillet chicken burgers thinking we were going to get something like a kfc burger, when it arrived we found we had been sent two burgers like you’d buy from a shop, just battered chicken burgers and then not even in a bun but in a pitta :s and the mayo was so runny it made the pitta soggy and break and drip out all over the place , plus I paid extra for onion rings and got none ... I mean I don’t know if we got someone else’s food or they ran out but our correct order was attached to the bag, if they did run out they could have called - like other places do to check if it’s ok, didn’t enjoy the pittas but the chips were pretty decent and they arrived early were the good points

Ordered a kebab came as naan wrap. And it was so bland hardly any flavour at all. Wasn't very nice at all was such a shame I hardly a aite it and partner only aite it coz he was hungry Wasn't worth £15 at all very disappointed. The mint sauce was outstanding though And great customer service and spot on delivery

Basic order of ‘cheesy chips’ ‘corn on the cob’ & ‘garlic dip’.. I stated on order that I was staying at the Holiday Inn Hemel Hempstead and would collect my order at reception, after 50 minutes I received the notification that my order was on its way I went to reception and sat in the window waiting for my delivery, after a further 20 mins I contacted the restaurant asking when I should expect my order for them to tell me it has been and gone as I wasn’t there?! I said I had been waiting for some time and still wanted the delivery so would continue to wait after a further 15 minutes my order arrived and was absolutely shocking! Food was freezing cold, No cheese on my ‘CHEESY’ chips, stone cold corn on the cob and my garlic dip was clearly mint yogurt! My order was as simple as they come but was still Absolutely shocking, food and service were beyond poor. Would not recommend at all!!!!!!

The Donner kebab was awful. The meat was dry and burnt. Not very good at all.

Ordered two kebabs and they turned stone cold, tried phoning to complain and to no answer.

Turned up early & nice & hot. Really nice.

The kebab came with full salad and sauce, when I asked for it without. They are sending a fresh one. Also, I ordered and paid for a milkshake, but it didn’t arrive. I expect to receive a refund for the milkshake

ordered a chicken burger and chips was waiting over a hour, missed a one ring call on mobile called it back no reply so I called the shop they said he been couldn’t get no answer so sent it back to me 20minutes later. burger cold and sent me cheesy chips full off grease and cold I wanted plain chips so called back they said they would send new chips an hour now and still waiting for CHIPS only a 5 minute drive bad service tonight food which is normally ok very poor wont use again

I placed the order at 9.30 on your website , as I could pre order my food so I requested the food to be delivered at 13.05 as it’s my lunch time where I only have 30 mins break , , since flaming house opens at 11am it had plenty of time to cook the food and get it delivered at the time I requested I even paid delivery fee too , and what did I get , the food arrived at 13.23 , which left me 5 mins to eat all that food impossible, even they themselves replied bk with a time of 13.10 which still they couldn’t stick to that , I have decided if I don’t get any compensation for this , I will stop using just eat website and flaming house too and will spread the word around in hemel so no one else experiences what I experienced today , I am expecting half of what I spent back as compensation thanks

Thank you Flaming House! After your abysmal food that was delivered to me tonight, you have inspired me to now cook my own chicken and make my own burgers & chips, as there is no way it can be any worse than what you delivered to us. Half my order was missing to add to the frustration, after ringing to complain for the first time, I was told it would be redelivered and when it turned up, it was burnt and cold. When I rang to complain AGAIN, I was fobbed off. My advice to anyone thinking of ordering from here is to save your money or go somewhere else for your food. However, if cold, burnt, tasteless food is your thing, then this is the place to go!

Both Kebabs were missing sauces while I only asked for no salad . Apart from that all delicious as always.

the food turned up earlier than expected so was a great start, after spending £32 on food and £2 of that was spent on sauce for the kebabs, and the pots were half full, I rang them up to be told I don’t see what your problem is, to be fair they did send more pots of sauce out after telling them that I would be doing a review later. Then I opened my food and it was tepid at best the donner meat was stone cold, the lamb had more fat than meat, the chicken was dry and crunchy, it was a horrendous experience and would highly recommend going elsewhere for your food, the establishment refused to refund. Never again
