Five Lads in Peterborough

Great little place to eat with good prices and nice food. You know what you are going to get. They have a consistent menu that tastes great every time. Not much of a fan of the plastic barrier in front of the cashier as they often get the order wrong but it is a bit of a challenge for them to hear with the noise behind them and this transparent wall ahead. 03/03/24 update. Still as good as ever. £1.50 to park the car right outside and a quick tasty late lunch. Washed my hands quickly before I ate, a quick renovation of the toilet area is in order I think. 13/04/24 update. Macie did a terrific job of welcoming us and serving. The food was good as expected though my wife did think there was an odd tang to the food on her Medium spice. I enjoyed my hot pitta chicken though.

The place is good. The chips containers are like plant pots. Love the idea!! The ice machine was not working :(

So I ordered food from here and our order went missing. They have a duty to ensure each driver scans a code before they take the food out for delivery. The food I ordered was given to the driver without making the driver scan the code, which meant the driver took our food and we didn’t receive anything. This is not the first time this has happened, it is now the second. Which means the only issues faced are when ordering from this restaurant. So disappointed!

Visited Ladz today on a day out. We had a variety of options and really enjoyed it. Service was good and the food came out quickly. Definitely be going again.

The food was outstanding. The service was just as good, we were greeted at the door by mitchel making us feel very welcome and comfortable. I recommend everyone comes and eats at The Ladz at least once, you wont regret it😉.

Regarding the taste of the food, I have nothing to say, but regarding the food itself, the chicken is already cooked long before ordering, they just heat it up. Chicken dry and cold inside.We don't have a lot of drink options, and the service isn't very good. I won't be back.

Really great food with it's own style and emphasis had lamb burger and curly chips others had chicken wraps hummus and pita bread and houlumi sticks all great tasting and great value.

The food was good, really flavourful. Moist chicken and chips were well cooked. Good prompt service. Really enjoyed my first visit.

First timer. Welcomed by lovely young girl with a smile. Put tables together so all the kids were together. Food was, well mind blowing. Juicy, beautiful, well cooked. All in all over met my expectations and definitely am experience I hope to receive every time as we most definitely will be back.

Like every weekend, we have dinner with the family, and we decided to try the famous Ladz restaurant. Cozy environment, fun time spent with the family. We liked the food very much. At the same time, I would like to thank the waitress Simona S for her warm communication and excellent service, it's nice to see such young motivated waiters. Thank you, we will meet again.

It’s not my first time coming here with my family. My whole family loves the food here and we’ll be coming back here. What I liked the most was the service. Simona S was really polite young lady, she comes over and asks if we need anything. Nice to visit this restaurant and get greeted by a nice young lady. Thanks to Simona S😊

Went here last night ordered our food got told they close at 11. While I was eating my food one of the staff member just stood in front of me and said we are closed. I’m not sure what she wanted me to do. I had only ate half of my food. Then they turned the lights off. She was rude and looked miserable. I then went and asked for a takeaway box and packed my food and left. Zero manners what so ever!!

To say I’m shocked is an understatement, has this place changed management? Always one of our favourites but tonight the customer service is appalling! If Uber eats aren’t able to supply drivers stop taking peoples money and orders! When I ask for a manager I expect a manger to give a paying customer their time! This has now put me off ever dining with you again!

Been going here multiple times a week for food as it’s always quick, easy and fairly priced but the staff in here is awful. This is down to the serving staff every single time

The food is definitely tasty. Not anything super special but they do know what they are are doing so I would say you won't be disappointed. The service was great and especially Mitchell went above and beyond with the service. He made sure I didn't have to stand up in the middle of the meal and even brought me a power bank to borrow since I was running low on battery. Thank you Mitchell, you really saved my day!

Dinning is better at the ladz than ordering a delivery. The food is not packaged well, they dnt even close the bag and no matter how much pay for your oder they dnt give you a salad unless you dine in . I was charged 22 87 for 4 pieces of chops and a small ribera drink nothing else comes with my food. You never get to receive what's on the menu unless you dine but not on home delivery.
