Five Guys in Nottingham

This was our 3rd time visiting and this time the food took quite a lot longer than on previous occasions and was not as good as it has been previously. Though it wasn't because they were busy. We could see staff taking their time, leaving food out and it didn't seem to be well organised. We spent nearly £50 on this visit and would have appreciated some quality control. Not sure if we will visit again.

Five Guys is a great Burger bar. Definitely not fast food but good burgers and the low carb lettuce wrapped burgers are the best I have had.

Verey good, food was greasy and oily and chips cold and to many. Food was also cold also make u clan up it was every where

Brilliant. We had a great time in this restaurant. The burgers and the fries are tasty and fresh, the portions are just right - we always got an enormous overflow of fries... 😄. Very good job, thanks 👍 We'll definitely come again. 🙂

Best restaurant in Notts, reminds me about the time back in the States… Cajun fries you gotta try. Staff was so friendly~Made my day!

Food was great and service decently quick

Great food, but it was empty when we went in. No atmosphere but no problem as we just sat and enjoyed the food.

Food was really, really, really bad and a very, very, very long wait.. Had to send food back, and its only basic burger and chip

Had a bacon burger and little fries with a refill drink. My order is almost always the same with grilled onions, grilled mushrooms and lettuce. The first burger was a cheeseburger, which I can't have because I have an intolerance. I told the member of staff this, who then told me they'd make me another one ASAP, as is customary for incorrect orders. When I asked what I should do with the cheeseburger, the member of staff told me to either chuck it or eat it...after I had informed her of my intolerance. It's a good job I have common sense... The second burger didn't have bacon on it. I couldn't be bothered to go up again as I was too hungry. As a former Five Guys employee I understand sometimes things go wrong, but this was especially disappointing. It wasn't busy and, in addition to my order problems, there were error lights on both of the refill machines which indicates limited drink availability. Not a great experience. Pains me to write that given I was on the other side of the counter about 5 years ago.

Worth the extra. I’m not normally a burger fan but these burgers and fries are exceptional.

Orderedfrom here this evening. Food quality was terrible. Cold, wrong size fries. Also food satfety/hygiene is terrible as 2 of my burgers had hairs in them. Disgusting as im a resturant manager myself.

Drinks machine had limited flavours. When you're paying 4.25 for a refillable drink, you expect the machines to be in order and stocked. Burgers took ages to get made. Not the best.

Decent food, although quite expensive. Service seems to have gone downhill recently so much so I've stopped visiting.

Went in, place wasnt too busy and it took 15 minutes to get a large chips. Chips were soggy and overly salted. All around meh.

I love their burgers. It's great that you can create your own by adding the toppings you want from the list. I also love how you get soooooo many fries! Literally feed the 5000. The downfall is the price, they are very expensive, so it's definitely a treat to go there. I will definitely go again, but only as a treat.

Crowded, busy and too long waiting for order to be taken and served

The burgers are good but the ambient is not very cosy. Very dirty and certainly for the price they charge, they could pay more attention to the cleanness and the style of serving their overpriced burgers.

Food was overpriced and not great. I feel as though I'd of had a equal meal at Mcdonalds but cheaper.. Expected better to be honest. Hamburger £9?! Like really??!! For a burger!!

I recently enjoyed a mouthwatering Double Cheeseburger with bacon at Five Guys, and it was an absolute delight! The generous portions of perfectly cooked beef patties were incredibly juicy and flavorful. The crispy bacon added a savory crunch that complemented the gooey cheese. Every bite was a burst of deliciousness, and the fresh toppings and soft bun tied it all together perfectly. Five Guys never disappoints with their quality ingredients and fantastic taste. This burger is a must-try for any burger enthusiast!

Very disappointed, I have been wanting to try this place for a while now. £19 for double cheese burger, fries and strawberry milkshake....the burger patties wasn't warm the onions was roar and the bread bun was very doughy....overloaded with fries. The milkshake was very nice but the burger was a let down for been the most expensive thing in my order. Staff miserable. I won't be back.

We went to five guys before a cinema showing and the prices were crazy for what we thought was a fast food but the portions are large and the price is actually justified. The burgers are juicy. And the fries are amazing.

Great burgers and shakes! Love that burger and shake extras are no extra cost. Fries are usually delicious but on most recent they were a bit overcooked and too crunchy. Very expensive burgers but worth it for an occasional treat.

First time ever having five guys absolutely beautiful

My first and last visit to five guys. The burger was awful I feel sick now 3 Hours after eating it. It was too expensive. Never again !!!!!!

While waiting for my car to have its MOT near by, I decided to go in search for food, & came across Five Guys literally just opening, & of course I was the first order of the day. This was my first time visiting this store, & before entering I was greeted at the door by a helpful chap, who checked to see if I needed any help picking from the menu. I decided to go for the bacon, cheese & mushroom burger with mayo, with cajun fries & a peanut butter milkshake. Again, I ordered this at the till with another helpful member of staff who guided me through the ordering process. After this, I took some of the free peanuts on offer & snacked on these while my food was being cooked. Although I didn’t need one for my daughter, I noticed that there were highchairs available. Once the food was ready, it came in a brown paper bag, only comment on this, is that it could of come on tray or something similar to save on using the bags. The cajun fries were perfectly seasoned to my liking, & the burger was spot on with lovely crispy bacon. The peanut butter milkshake tasted lovely. On review of my whole experience, I definitely would visit again if in the area.

I came to East midlands designer outlet last night. It was extremely busy . The lady in black top advised it could be upto a 15 minute wait. We ordered our food and we actually got our food in less than 10 minutes . The staff were all working extremely hard as I said it was very busy . I've never had service like this before it was absolutely amazing. The food was amazing too. I would like to say well done to them all for working as a team great job five guys and your manager is a credit to you

Nice hot dog ! I have had the one with cheese and bacon, topped with grilled mushrooms, jalapeños and no sauce. So much fries were given ! Overall a tiny bit pricey but it is delicious.1

Came out of the cinema and was starving. Saw the 5 Guys and thought we'll give it a go as I haven't had one in UK before. It was delicious had a cheese burger with various bits on it an cayenne fries. The burger meat was amazing. Really friendly fun staff too! A bit expensive but cos you're paying for quality meat and real potatoes, and boy can you tell! Fantastic 👏

£6.25 for a mediocre hotdog with a couple of slices of cheese on top. Arguably worse than Costco hotdogs and four times the price.The milkshake was great but very expensive.

Arguably the best burger joint in town.

Burgers are really great. The problem is that the only time that the price is right is when the taxpayer is picking up half the tab. It's a place to treat yourself, not a regular place to eat.

There are better restaurants in this chain. Chips are inconsistent, which is one of their main marketing points, but you can tell there is a high standard of cleanliness and the staff are reasonable.

Wow! Just wow. If you haven't tried one. Put it on your bucket list.

5 guys is what other fast food burger joints wishes they were. Consistent, high quality and generous portions.

Awesome burgers, snappy service, only real downside is the pricing, but if you are clever it's not too bad, personally the £5 for a milkshake is a ripoff and the chips are nothing special but if you are with friends get a large between 3 or 4.

Quick dinner before the cinema and first time of trying five guys. Best burger we have ever had and will definitely be back again!!

My husband got some food here before our movie and he's had food poisoning since. The symptoms have finally started to shift 3 days later, but the agony he's felt has been horrible to see.

Too expensive for a small burger. The cheeseburger tasted ok, but nothing special. Chips were extremely salty. I do not recommend this place. Five Guys in the city center is really good though.

Burger was nice, fries so salty they would drawn in the dead sea. Bins in the toilet has been changed and cleaned last time in 2001. Overall ok, but might be better.

Shakes are amazing but the straws suck 😜

Much the same as burger king, food is nice but a little more expensive although there is more to choose from the menu.

As I don’t have a Five Guys in the town I am living. This is my best option when I am travelling up north or coming back. It’s easy to access as it has plenty of parking plus I don’t have to drive through the city centre to get to it.

Don't go here if you think it's just a quick pit stop and fast food. Whilst it is fast, it's also the best burger you have ever tasted. The whole experience is expensive (for fast food), it cost us £46 for 2 adults and 2 children. But ignore that and concentrate on the taste. You can choose what toppings you want, my wife always asks for extra gherkin, all included in the price. Always share the fries!!! You get loads. I also recommend sharing drinks, as you can refill as many times as you like. The drinks choice is amazing. From a taste perspective, it's just amazing! If I could afford it, I would be getting a burger every day!

Good but very expensive for just a burger really

Food was very nice, and quickly ordered and received. Self serve drinks machines with a lot of combinations of flavours. Very pricey, for what is essentially, another fast food burger place. Quality is much better than other fast food places but £30 for 2 burgers, one order of medium fries and 2 drinks, maybe treat this place as a treat once every now and then

Good experience, never had 5 guys. A bit overpriced but was good service in this particular 5 guys. Was asked if I had ever been before, and taken through the menu in great detail by a very friendly cashier.

Fantastic service every time! Burgers are freshly prepared with a short waiting time. Restaurant seating can get a little busy at times however curbside pickup is a great idea if you want as a take out.

Great burgers and fries, a little more expensive than the usual fast food burger joints but the food is much better quality! Lots of choice of toppings, huge portions of fries (we always share a "small" between 2 adults!) and overall really tasty.

First time visiting and will be the last, nothing special, prices are crazy, burger had gristle, bacon fat all over, whole burger tasted like bacon fat it was horrible also paid 8 pound for a burger to not get fries??? Proper rip off, threw in the bin, wouldn't recommend the food, milkshakes are very nice though

Overpriced. Not sure how they can justify the amount they charge in this place. It's actually ridiculously expensive, I could sit down in a good restaurant and have a homemade burger at half the price of this fast food. Not for me.

Staff are very friendly and the food is top quality

Great burgers! Went before going to Showcase and really enjoyed adding as many free toppings to my burger as I wanted. Wasn't too busy and got a table easily, staff were friendly and happy to help. Really nice to have a cold beer with burger as well.

Fast and friendly service. Clean and tidy establishment, automated handwash stations available. Burgers are quite expensive but very nice. Fries are great and very generous portion sizes. Burgers are made to order so no chance of getting anything that has been sitting around.

Great food, curbside pick up took a while though

Great customer service received by Jordan on front counter, he explained the menu as a new customer then the food came ! Omg the food was amazing ! Burgers to die for and the mustard was the bomb ! Well done guys truely impressed and thank you we shall be back ! #goodjob !!

Ordered a grilled cheese all the way without onions or tomatoes, and a cheeseburger with just BBQ sauce added. When it came 20mins later the grilled cheese had onions and tomatoes in, and the burger had no BBQ. Was too late on the burger as that got eaten anyway, I took the grilled cheese back and asked for another. 20mins later no one had even bothered to remake so I went back to the cashier and they didn't know what had happened. Asked for a refund. Shoddy customer service and no accountability for mistakes, when you're paying much more than the average fast food restaurant. Won't be going back.

Came before the cinema the other night and the person who served us was really helpful with taking our order. No complaints there. The food and drinks were also spot on.

Writing this review as I'm sat in Five Guys. Woman on the tills (Christina maria) was extremely rude. I asked for 2 bunless burgers. When given the receipt i noticed it didn't say it so I reiterated I wanted them both bunless. She had an attitude and was very rude saying "why didn't you tell me when you ordered?" I informed her that I did and that it was the first thing I said to her. She said "come on I have ears" then went pulling faces and moaning about us to her colleague. As a former employee of Fiveguys im aware of their standards and her attitude is well below par. I will not be visiting this branch again.

Some how this place has not only kept going but still delivers the same quality of food. May not have the variety of other places but the result is consistent and nice to eat

Well never been to this place before but if you love a fantastic burger with amazing fries and fantastic milkshakes give them a go. Had a bacon cheeseburger with some extras it’s was so juicy and tasty. Fries are coated in an amazing salt with a delicious milkshake I had salted caramel Will definitely be coming back 😀😀😀
