Love this place. Regular visits to eat in. A couple of takeaways and all have been really good. Also do a good ribeye steak.

Great food and service as always. Lovely place to eat. Able to cope with bigger family groups. Always a bonus.

The fish is over cooked and just batter the last time I went I couldn’t even finish eating it because it was just over cooked batter again very little fish won’t ever be going back it’s a shame because it was a good place to eat.

What a little gem this is. A taste of London in Cheshunt. It's very difficult to find any fish restaurant outside of London but it's even harder to find a great one, but look no further. You may think this is just a fish and chip shop but if you like fish and seafood I can't recommend this place enough. The restaurant next door to the takeaway is extremely inviting as you walk in. It's tastefully decorated and has plenty of space but it's the menu and food quality that really sets this place apart. They have a very wide selection of fresh fish as well as meat options for any non fish lovers and of course a full fish and chip shop menu too. All fish on the chip shop menu can be battered or grilled but their star of the show is the fish platter which just about has a bit of everything. It really is a spectacle and makes a great centrepiece for a special occasion. The staff are super friendly and helpful and there's parking either in front or in a car park at the back. If you want gluten free fish and chips, they also offer this on a Thursday. Don't miss out on this wonderful restaurant, it really is something

Went in there today with my family and the food was great as always cooked to perfection. Staff was as polite and helpful as ever. Will be going back again.

Ordered chips today from the takeaway place, but they were so hard they tasted like cardboard. When they’re fresh they’re amazing. Please can you stop serving stale batches that taste like cardboard! We’re not stupid and notice when they’ve been left out all night

Ordered my food & had to wait about 30min Noticed other people walking in, ordering & being given their food before us. Food wasn’t its best, chips were not as nice as usual & batter in fish wasn’t like usually was. I think won’t use it at weekends

This is the fourth time I have ordered fish and chips from the takeaway section and the forth time the fish has been absolutely qwful.I kept trying because it was a lovely chippy when it first opened but lately the battery is rock hard and the fish is small and flaky with barely any substance. Alot of it was inedible and felt like I had to leave this review after keep hoping it would improve back to how it was,unfortunately it hasn't and I won't be buying fish from here again,a total waste of money.

The best fish and chips I've had in a long time

I've been twice now, just too make sure the first wasn't a fluke. My god this establishment is 💯👊🏾! Not only was the food amazing, the wine selection & even deserts are top notch. I've been looking for somewhere to fully relax and enjoy myself and by dining here I've found it! The service was truly incredible and the Owner made me feel comfortable and welcome. I'd advise anyone who's pescatarian to definitely visit this restaurant as it truly hit the mark in all spaces. Truly delicious 😋. I'll be visiting again, and again and again.

Very good chips for the price £2.50 for a medium portion which was in fact very large. The chips themselves are large and crispy, so if that’s your preferred style, you will love it here.

This was our first time eating at this restaurant, must say we were not disappointed. The service was friendly, the ambiance was nice and the food was excellent. A Great selection of fresh seafood is available and a few meat options for those who want them. We will definitely be back again. Highly recommended.

This used to my friend and I's favourite place for a meet up. Beautiful fresh fish, cooked perfectly and beautifully served and presented. We visited tonight to find the menu had changed and now has a pick and choose, build your own meal thing going on. Ifelt like I was in a fast food place not a restaurant. Not impressed at all, it works out way more expensive and is not presented as previously. Just a chunk of fish on a large plate, thankfully I ordered a Salad as a side, small but delicious which at least made it a bit more appealing I don't understand this change, or what they hope to gain from it? Don't get me wrong, I appreciate that inflation has soared and would now expect to pay more and would willingly do so if it was the same standard as before. But... the price has increased and the standard has dropped... from the old menu £17 for a full meal of swordfish, beautifully presented with accompaniments, to the new setup, which now costs £25.50.....if it was presented as beautifully as before? I wouldn't have a problem with that. But it's not, I want a structured meal, with components that compliment each other. I don't want a pick and choose, build your own meal that works out considerably more expensive. We even asked if ownership had changed as it isn't the same restaurant now, staff are the same, welcoming and friendly, but the menu structure and presentation is not for us. Doubt we will ever go back, I had recommended this restaurant to a work colleague only today, I will now retract the recommendation :( You have changed your menu and restaurant style and lost at least 2 customers in the process........

Shame, lovely food but my tuna steak had no sides, ruined the whole meal, and for £17 I may as well gone tesco!

So so disappointing, been a loyal and regular customer here for years and couldn’t recommend to people enough. Although my last take away, my order I received wasn’t as described, when calling them we just had the chef in the background swearing at us and then hung up on us and never actually had our order rectified!

Ordered Plaice, chips and Curry sauce. The Plaice was terrible, it was so over fried I could not cut it. Very unhappy with the poor quality of my Plaice.

Ordered the fish soup and salmon Nicoise the soup was fine but salmon came with no vegetables or mash. Had I not travelled all the way to Stevenage with it I would have returned it. Not only did I repeat myself twice he repeated it back. And still got it wrong. And I paid £17.50 for the salmon dish. Not impressed and very disappointed

The food was truly amazing and the service was, too, great. It was our first time here and it was accidental, however we are greatful for coming here as it was delicious; there are varieties of not only fish, but meat, salads, burgers and other wonderfull dishes. This will definitely not be our last time here, and we really do recommend this restaurant to others, as it is worth every penny paid.

Visited early Saturday evening and although there was only one other customer waiting in the shop I waited over 10 minutes for a large portion of chips. I guessed that they required more chips to be cooked as the staff member was not interested in my order and was fooling about with the staff members behind. It would have been nice of her to just let me know?? A poor customer experience! On getting home, the chips were a lot of ends and bits and definitely not worth the £3.60 paid. I expected more from this establishment....

Came today for a family meal for my daughters 12th birthday, food was fresh and delicious - the staff were so attentive towards us and made a big deal of bringing out my daughters birthday cake and sang to her - highly recommend and we will definately be back 😀

SALMON SERVED COLD AND RAW, POTATOES WERE FREEZING, SERVICE IS APPALLING, KALAMARI WAS SOAKED WITH OIL, LETTUCE WAS DIRTY IN SALAD, CHIPS WERE UNDER COOKED, MANAGMENT SHOWS NO SIGN OF INTEREST REGARDING RAW AND COLD FOOD, NO OFFER OF COMPENSATION OF FOOD WHEN IT WAS NOT EVEN EATEN. JUST A MONEY GRABBING BUSINESS.

Lovely chips and batter sausage cooked to perfection.

We went in on a Sunday, was quiet but the place looks and feels lovely. There were five of us (3 kids, 2 of which are toddlers) the staff were very attentive and friendly which is a great change from other restaurants in the area. Food tasted brilliant and the prices aren't that bad compared to other local restaurants.

I live literally 2 minutes from the shop and the food is always cold. My neighbours have had the same problem. Will definitely be ordering from somewhere else next time

Absolutely brilliant we bought the fish platter for take away didn't have time to stop and eat in. Fish was cooked perfectly the best chips I've had in years. Done quickly and efficiently. I don't normally post reviews but when it's good you got to say it.

I have been to Fishy Delishy on 3 occasions, twice where we had a great experience the third time unfortunately was the worst experience Ive ever had in a restaurant. The difference between the first 2 times and the 3rd time was the fact that the owner was there for the first 2 visits. So it is with heavy heart that I write this terrible review with regards staff attitude and the service received. The first occasion and my introduction to fishy Delishy I was invited by one of my best friend and his wife who are regulars there. The owner greeted the so warmly that I decided to put the restaurant onto my list of regular eat outs. The second trip was our grandsons birthday, we had another great time there despite the fact that the owner was doubling up as the barman, and didn’t know how to make a pina colada. But his explanation with a smile made for an even more memorable experience. Once again the food was on point. The third occasion was a birthday gift to our daughter as she had missed our trip with her son on his birthday. Because it was a special occasion I booked ahead to reserve the booth as i was to order the special fish platter, the person on the phone couldn’t make out my name I had to repeat my name for clarity several times, When we arrived at 7.25 for my 7.30 booking we were told that there was no booking in my name, I was shown the booking sheet there was a name which was scribbled which couldn’t be made out. I was offered another table which I didnt like but accepted to be seated at a space which someone had just vacated which would need to be made ready. I made the point that I felt that as the booking could still be mine. We waited for our newly chosen table to be cleared and sat down, ordered drinks, with it now being 7.45 I could see that the booth was empty, I asked the waitress how long they hold bookings for if guests dont show up, rather irritated she stated “its not your name how do you know there not running late” I replied once agin that i still thought the booking was mine and that I was prepared to wait the necessary time to see if the guests turned up. We ordered drinks by the time the drinks came it was 7.55pm, the booth was still empty I asked the waitress who this time said you simply cant have the booth. I asked to see the manager, the waitress went over to the bar to a man that I had been watching for most of the time whilst this situation unfolded, the waitress said the Manager is busy but has said you’re not getting the table and if you don't like it you can leave. I asked asked to waitress to repeat herself as i could quite believe my ears she repeated exactly the same thing. At 8pm we left the restaurant and the booth was still empty! I have subsequently found out the duty managers name to be Kasper who has clearly let the owner down, the atmosphere and service received is the polar opposite of my previous experiences there. I have never been asked to leave a restaurant before. Spoilt our daughters birthday!!!

Lovely fish and chips, we had a good service we were served by a lovely well-mannered girl who had a smile on her face, and she did her very best to serve as it was a busy time. Thank for the service and the delicious food.

Rip off. Meal for one £17. One small soggy cod one savoloy, one chips 2 cokes. Smalles portions I’ve ever seen in a chip shop, entitled counter staff with nose up in the air. AVOID.

Second time coming, absolutely my new favourate restaurant! The salmon and tuna are sooo moist and succulent, and the chips are perfectly fluffy with a good crunch. The grilled prawns are fab too... I have so many intolerances but Linda has taken care of me each time, she is lovely, caring and attentive, and I'll look forward to seeing her again next time! Thanks Chef Fouad for tweaking and presenting perfectly cooked food.!! Husband loved his rib eye steak too 😊

We attended here Sunday 04th April at 3pm for my nans birthday. We were a party of 14. We booked in advance and asked me to be seated away from the toilet. We were seated right infront of the loos! They made the placement for only 13 people. The waitress taking our order so incompetent's and was getting confused. Our starters came even before our drinks arrived. Only half more than half an hour did they come over to tell us some of the drinks they didnt have. Starters were good but very small portions and looked lovely which was the only positive of the day. We again went through the pain of ordering mains which took forever. No octopus in a fish restaurant and it wasnt even dinner time. We asked for one of the dishes to come out first because one of our party had to leave for work at 5pm, and guess what? It came LAST! My main was terrible and had no seasoning. One person asked for no cod of salmon in the seafood pasta, and she ended up with 2 mussels and one prawn! The pasta was cold! The only good dish at this FISH restaurant was the chicken shish! We also saw the waitress at the bar tasting drinks with the same spoon she continued to mix it with! I said very loudly that i was so unimpressed and that i want to leave, which one of the staff members heard, but just continued to give me a dirty look. They added just sort of £50 service charge on to our bill. Laughable really considering the experience. Shocked at the lack of customer service. Shocked at the quality and taste of the food. We will never be going back and neither will anyone i know.

Absolutely delicious meal with incredible fresh oysters, prawns, huge monkfish and seafood tanganelli! Very enjoyable visit with my sister. Lovely atmosphere, service and host. A must visit!!! Will be back ☺
