Good food, good service and a place that had a somewhat relaxed atmosphere. The scallop starter was really delicious too! Unfortunately couldn't get a photo of it.

In typical tourist fashion, we searched for fish and chips near me and came across FishWorks. Three of us ordered it with cod, and I ordered it with halibut. The food was pretty good. Go with the cod option. Service was a little slow.

This restaurant has the most delicious garlic butter sauce I ever ate 🤤 lobster 🦞 and scallops are fresh and tasty 😋 definitely will come back to try their seafood pasta & fish and chip 😍

We had a very short time in London and wanted to have an authentic English lunch of fish and chips. This restaurant went out of their way to accommodate our party of six. The server did an excellent job, all the fish is local and I even liked the mushy peas. Thank you for an enjoyable lunch.

When I finished ordering, the waitress casually asked if I wanted some bread and I said sure. Little did I know the bread is an extra £5.75 :( Upselling is a great tool but this just felt a bit disingenuous

Terrific seafood in a central location. As good as the Covent Garden version which I loved too. Servers were friendly and attentive. It was not busy at all when I visited at 1pm on a Sunday. Very reasonable prices for such good produce and wine. Only critique is the battered cod could do with less time in the fryer - flesh was a bit chewy but still enjoyable. The atmosphere and sensible menu makes this restaurant suitable for almost any occasion, from casual lunch to dinner with the in-laws.

I thoroughly enjoyed everything! The Bouillabaisse was bursting with flavor and had plenty of seafood, and those king scallops were both huge and incredibly tasty, especially with the bread crumbles. Desserts didn't disappoint either; the apple and raspberry crumble was large enough to share, and while the espresso panna cotta wasn't the prettiest, it was delicious. Definitely worth a try!

The food was delicious, the wine good and the service perfect. As visitors in London, we loved the kindness of the staff. Design is nice, simple, timeless, just right . Going back for sure next time in London !

Best fish restaurant in London. The food was excellent. Teresa, our waitress was excellent. It's a bit on the pricy side, but you definitely get what you pay for! I'll add a photo of my dish(roasted sea bass), but it was so good I started eating before the photo

Simply delicious and in my opinion reasonably priced for London.

The food arrived cold after 1 hour of waiting. The fish was over cooked. For the price of 30£ per portion this was a horrible experience.

We came here because the place was recommended to us! We loved the oysters and the wine. My issue was the main dish, I totally understand that the place a seafood but if you can’t handle more than that, you should not have offer it. I ordered the seafood linguine and it was the worst seafood pasta I ever had. The sauce was out of a can and it had only very minimal of seafood. Very disappointing, I really enjoyed everything else, my point is, stay in your lane of offering seafoods and don’t venture to other cousins.

If I can put more starts, I'd have put 10 stars! Their customer service was amazing and made our dinner special for sure. Took my non British friend to try fish and chips and she absolutely loved it. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone!

A nice restaurant in a quiet lane off regents Street. No reservation required and late lunch allowed. They changed my tuna carpaccio because I didn't like the sauce even though I had eaten some. Nice service and friendly staff.

Absolutely faultless. Celebrating my wife's birthday, booked a table a few days before, got there a little early but they were very accommodating. The atmosphere was relaxed and chilled, smart and spacious.The service was spot on, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The lady with the Red hair, Kristela I think, was exceptional (Thank you for a wonderful evening). We decided to skip starters and side orders and just share 4 main courses. EVERY dish we ordered was gorgeous (sea bass, mackerel, monkfish and linguine). The wine was excellent (vinho Verde). The prices were all very reasonable considering how perfect the food and wine were. I will definitely be going again the future and I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

This place has become very expensive and the service is now perfunctory. I paid £25 for a bowl of pasta to be told they 'don't do parmesan'. I have used this place over the past 3-4 years but I will not be going back. Shared oysters, two mains and a bottle of wine £175 !! No pudding or any real service.

Nice restaurants in a side street with rather higher prices but really delicious. We’ve had fish and chips and it was super good!

Absolutely immaculate cod fish and chips. The batter was light yet present and the fish was delightfully flaky. A wonderful bite when combined with the tartar sauce and great chips. Recommend pairing with their simple side salad; the red onion and dressing go well with the meal. Service could be a lot better, however. Wasn’t happy paying their service fee when I was frequently forgotten about. Only excuse one of the servers could offer was that “it was a busy night.” Overall happy I found this on my last night in London. Beats a couple other speciality fish and chips joints I came across. Just be weary of mediocre service.

I don't quite know how to describe this place. The service was good the sharing fish platter seemed although perhaps there could have been more.. sadly I was sick afterwards. Must have been the Oysters since my partner was fine and she did not eat the oysters. Difficult to recommend somewhere that poisons you.

Ich war heute zuerst mit meiner Schägerin im Restaurant und haben den leckersten Fish&Chips bekommen, den ich persönlich gegessen habe. Das lag sicher auch an der total netten Bedienung. Zwischendrin sind auch unsere 2 Töchter dazu gekommen und wollten nur eine Portion Fish&Chips zum teilen. Das war alles kein Problem.. das Restaurant kann ich wirklich nur empfehlen!

Went in for late 2pm lunch of fish and chips. Best I have ever had (also most expensive I have ever had @29GBP) but worth it!

Been wanting to come here for some time now however I'm so disappointed that I did. The food was average at best and the service was terrible. It took 25 minutes to get some sourdough and at the end of the meal it took nearly 15 minutes to get a bill. The staff weren't attentive, plenty of them around but just not paying attention. Visited on 11th October 2023 at 7.30pm. Should have gone back to Bentleys next door. Far superior.

Had a lovely evening here for dinner. Service was impeccable, I had the fish soup, followed by tuna carpaccio and monkfish, which was absolutely delightful. I recommend the pannacotta espresso!! 👌🏻❤️ Thank you very much!

Solid choice for pre theatre dinner. Very impressed with the quality of our meal, particularly my pan seared trout. Nicely seasoned, quality fresh fish, and beautifully cooked. Also worth noting that the sides - too often an afterthought - were exceptional. £100 for two people, including bread basket, two sides, mains, and two glasses of wine was reasonable considering the quality of the food and the location. Portion sizes were standard, though for £5.75, I’d have appreciated a few more pieces of their yummy freshly baked sourdough.

Went there with relatives in town in a quiet Monday evening. There weren't many customers in there. No complaints on food but they were not remarkable either. The turbot dish was the best amongst all.

A very good selection of fish for seafood enthusiasts. It has a regular menu along with a daily catch menu with whatever is available on the day, cooked either grilled or pan fried. Very appreciating that they actually show you the whole fish before they are sent to the kitchen! The fish was nicely cooked and tasted great. Their chips are surprisingly good and we even asked for an extra portion. The raw oysters were just about average and a bit pricey for the quality.

Great prepated fish, good service.

Ordered 3dishes, took more than 2 hours but sitting down and waiting the foods without anything was about 1.5 hours. Server just starring me when I needed. With long waiting, asked bread and they charged 6 pounds for 4 small piece of bread. This restaurant is like thief and over rated. Please don’t go there. I massed up my family trip dinner because I choose this restaurant.

Been to this branch of Fishworks twice in the past month and both times the service has been incredibly poor. Both times I've had to work to get anyone's attention just to even order. Drinks take a long time. Staff have snapped at me for enquiring about a missing side dish. Even asking for the bill is a debacle. I'll be sticking to the Covent Garden branch from now on where the service is much more prompt and friendly. *****Update****** - I have just got over food poisoning. Avoid the mussels. In fact, avoid this place full stop.

When we entered into this nicely designed restaurant, it represented just the right ambience for a seafood restaurant. From the colors of the walls to the pictures of fishermen, lighting, wood elements and everything else, this restaurant was tastefully designed. The display of freshly caught fish, was just enough to let their customers know, that what they’re about to order will be well prepared, seasoned just right and beautifully presented. Job well done.

We came here for lunch without booking. They seated us promptly and served us quickly. The fish looks and tastes fresh. Highlight were the scallops. I had the quinoa salad with tofu (veggie option) and it was very tasty.

È stata una vera sorpresa questo locale, avevo voglia di buon pesce e sono stato accontentato. Appena entrato mi sono sentito subito a mio agio. Personale cortese e preparato e sopratutto attento al cliente, nonostante il locale fosse strapieno e loro erano in 3 a servire tutto è andato con un timings Perfetto (c'era una sinergia tra sala e cucina davvero unica). Ero lì per festeggiare il mio 40° Compleanno ed ho iniziato con un carpaccio di tonno rosso (sublime e fresco) abbinato ad uno calice di champagne ; Seguito da una bella Spigola da 1.1 kg al sale (cotta alla perfezione e di ottima qualità) accompagnata da un Gavi di Gavi DOCG e per finire un ottimo sorbetto al limone rinfrescante. Il conto è stato rapportato alla qualità del cibo, in linea con quel che sono i prezzi in un buon ristorante di pesce senza eccedere nel fancy e quindi paghi la qualità e non l'atmosfera. Le mie più vive congratulazioni tutto lo staff sicuramente ritornerò. 🍾🇮🇹🎉

The restaurant looks really neat. We had two set of Oysters and champagne. Oysters 🦪 were okay. Champagne was not cold enough. Service a bit sad. Not engaging. Small details can make experience better or worse. We would come back again anyway because the atmosphere and the feel is really good.

After a long day walking around London it was a super good lucky choice for me that I will revisit hopefully in the future.

Lots of choice but falls short, especially for the price point. Seabass fillet was beautifully smoky and grilled but I came across so many bones whilst eating it, sort of put me off. The day’s special Hake was also tasty and the beetroot salad was a highlight. Fried whitebait also a good starter. Otherwise, fairly expensive for the quality of food and having to add on sides for a complete meal.

Some of the best service I've ever had. More platter options would have been nice. I found the taste just OK but I'm extremely fussy as I come from a family of cooks.

This was a weird experience! Two of us dined, really nice looking place, friendly staff, etc. Had a beautifully prepared fresh crab to start, really lovely. My partner had moules as a main dish, which were mediocre, and I had the Grilled Seafood Platter, which was very poor. The scallop, almost invisible, overcooked and the crust tasted weird; the fish, quite wet and a long way from crispy, as you'd expect from a grill; but here's the weird bit, the dish was meant to come with prawns, arrived with two emaciated overcooked prawns, and one prawn head. Yep, a cooked prawn head on its own!?! Alerted the waiter, who apologised and took the plate back. He then returned with the plate, without the prawn head, saying it was "two pieces" only. One of the single weirdest experiences I have ever had in a restaurant. Why put a cooked prawn head on a customer's plate?!? Definately NOT what we were expecting and NOT worth the £120+ we paid for the two of us! The crab was fab, everything else, a huge disappointment!

I don't think I would go on a Sunday again as the restaurant didn't smell very pleasant and the seafood didn't taste as fresh as my experience on going the last time to the Covent Garden branch. Staff were great non the less.

It's OK. Had three tier Sharing platter for two, The cold seafood section was very underwelming, The prawns were overly cooked in salt. The cold muscles and cockles were Bland and tasteless And there was one Single crab claw (not much sharing to be done there I'm afraid) the warm fish, scallops etc were a bit better, however there was still a rather steep £15 service charge for just two people, this type of service charge usually contributes towards staff wages and not as a bonus to the staff for good service.

There used to be over 12 branches of Fishworks. This is one of 3 or 4 remaining (others being on Marylebine High Street and in Covent Garden). I have always liked Fishworks and on my most recent visit to this one I thought it may be even better. They have a good selection of seafood and fish and will cook fish that you select at the counter to your taste.

Had overly expensive grilled fish. It was okay but the cost was too high in return l relation to the quality. Service was okay but also not great.

Best dinner we had in London all week. Get the sole. So good we went back.

Starter is king scallops. Surprised, quite good and tasty with lemon ! Dish is Fish & chips. disappointed, I'm not particularly into fish & chips but this wasn't tasteful at all. I don't recommend it. Overall, expensive restaurant but surely worth the cost for something other than fish & chips as a dish.

This was an absolutely fabulous experience. In general, the staff was amazing and service was exemplary. Anna was spectacular and amplified the entire experience for my husband and I’d anniversary. Would recommend and will be coming here again.

Balik corbasi istedik balik tadi asla yoktu, domates corbasi gibiydi. Buyuk karidesler lezzetliydi. Tuna carpaccio da gayet iyiydi. Linguini de bir sos vardi sanirim eksimtrak pek begenmedim. Kardesim levrek izgara yedi guzeldi. Fish and chips cok yagliydiz garson kizlar biraz suratsizdi ama yine de denenebilir.

Food poisoning around 5th of March anyone? Not trying to make any allegations here. There’s several options from which we could’ve got it, but just want to check if anyone had the same experience. Would be very strange given how upper-end the place is, but just wanna double-check.
