Small restaurant worth a detour. Top service, very welcoming and good advice. The fish and chips were very good and plentiful. I recommend!

Never got to the food. Walked in at 9pm to a restaurant that was a quarter full and went to sit a corner table away from everyone else. I was told I couldn’t sit at that table because it was meant for 4 people. The restaurant was empty and you close in 2 hours, ok, I guess you could have a rush on a Thursday night, not likely. You then offer to sit me at a table right on top of other guests when the restaurant is empty, no thanks. I then say I’ll get takeaway and start looking at a menu. Since you were annoyed I didn’t sit at the table scrunched in with other people at an empty restaurant you curtly tell me that I was looking at the wrong menu not the takeout menu. Cool, I can’t sit where I want and you are being rude, that’s it for me. Just bad vibes, hope your experience is better

Cozy atmosphere, well served dishes, ready quickly and hot at the table. A pleasant discovery near the hotel where I was staying. The only thing I missed was that they sold beer, it would go well with the fish and chips

Excellent Fish&Chips, we ordered it to take away, its preparation was quick and but the best of all was the dishes ordered. The potatoes are just right and the fish is delicious. The quantity is abundant, making it ideal for a dish to share.

Curious, not very large place where you can have a huge and delicious Fish & Ship! They don't serve alcohol and the service is good.

As soon as we arrived they told us that we can only pay in cash, 2024 in London don't electronic payments exist in this place? We ate the typical house dish: cod with french fries. Dish with 0 salt and little flavor, little attention towards customers and the dishes prepared. Obviously we pay in euros 💶 without receiving a receipt 🧾 we pay 49 pounds 💷 (with exchange) for a dish that was worth perhaps 30. Disappointed 🫤

We had fish & chips and the fish burger. It was very tasty! Best fish & chips we've ever had. It is a very small restaurant, but you can sit comfortably there. The staff is very friendly. If we hadn't found this place online, we probably would have walked straight past it... Glad we went in anyway!

Large portions, fair price, top service. Before you get annoyed about €26 per person or £23.50 for a Fish & Chips Coke, you should manage the portion. There were 6 of us here and everyone enjoyed it.

The waiter offered to pay in €. We paid with it, but without a receipt, he charged €5 more. He saw that we don't know English well and we won't argue. Spend it on medicine! The food was mediocre.

We were in town and found this place close to our hotel. The fried fish n chips were delicious and large portions. I also tried the grilled fish also delicious! People were nice! Would definitely return if we ever visit this country again!

Visiting London w family. Went because of reviews. It was delicious and filling. Tried the Haddock and family had the Cod. Just as we had hoped. Large pieces with just right crispy batter. Haddock was flaky tender whitefish. We were there around 17:00 and it was busy- half tourists and half locals. Small space, service was good and attentive. Glad we decided to go and happy with meal.

I would have given 5* but the price is quite steep. £20 for a large haddock. £4 is added for eating in and you also receive a 12.5% service charge added to the final bill. That's the only criticism I have. Very crispy and tasty haddock. Homemade tartare sauce etc. Fantastic service, run by nice people. I would eat there again but I can get the same quality for cheaper closer to home. It's in a touristy part of London I guess but still.

First time eating each fish and chips in the UK! We ordered the cod, mushy peas, and curry sauce. It was delicious! No fishy smell, very fresh. Just delicious and really nice people running the restaurant.

Good service, delicious food, a slightly dark place for what we are used to in Spain, but we know that in London there is not as much lighting as here. The classic fish ande chipn and the calamari were our choices and WE WERE RIGHT.

I can warmly recommend the massive cod with chips. But be careful: don't be fooled by the cheap prices advertised outside the restaurant! These are just the takeaway prices and if you eat on site you will pay £4 more. The next price trap will be waiting for you when paying, where the seller is very reluctant to accept card payments and also credits a 12.5% ​​tip without asking. Brazenness wins, it seems to me.

Good location and we didn’t need to wait for long. Really good grilled fish with chips and salad - I recommend it. For both meals we paid 41,50£ and I think it was worth it.

A must if you are nearby. Classic fish and chips, the portion costs just under £20, but it's absolutely worth it! What's unusual is that there is no alcohol. The service, the employees were all very friendly. Even euros are accepted.

I am unable to respond to your comment. You had 3 tables waiting, hardly full. Yes you gave me two sausages and this review was before I got to your shop and you gave me these. I asked your colleague if the sausage was there before I left and he he said yes. Not sure what is inaccurate about the above, what I ordered was correct, the amount was correct. I just hadn't at that point came to the shop and received 2 sausages. I have been a regular customer at this shop for years. Today I ordered a large chips, medium fish, 1 sausage and curry sauce costing me £18.50. I waited 20 minutes for my order to have missing items. The portion sizes have drastically reduced, I normally am able to feed my 2 children and myself with a large portion but just about feed the kids. I came home with missing items. Will be finding a different chip shop.

We went without making a reservation or anything looking for a place to sit quietly and eat and we got a big surprise! The food was delicious, the prices were fair for the quality of each dish, the children came out happy. The waitress's attention was surprising! The truth is that it is a place not to be missed after going to the London eye or its surroundings!

The place is very cool, with decoration and English music. There are typical English dishes and the food is very good. The quality-price ratio is very good. And the waitress, Mariam, very friendly and attentive. We will be back!!

Google gave 4.1 stars. this score has been manipulated. but this one is definitely not worth it. a waste of time and money and your stomach goes to hell. was the worst fish ever. we ate fish and chips. fish was full of oil. oil dripped out. service was bad and the waiter was rude. the price was not worth compared to quality. No smiles people. arrogant people. I got a comment from the waiter. “Who said you can sit there” Was really bad!!!

A cosy little Fish and Chip resturant in the near Waterloo station. The place is welcoming on entering and we quickly seated. My wife ordered the Large Haddock (it has skin on which she likes) and I ordered the Medium Cod (Medium is the biggest Cod size) they are both served with chips. We also ordered sides of Mushy Peas and Curry sauce plus a cup of tea each. Now as I'm from Yorkshire I appreciate a good cuppa and this place serves the best cup of tea in London, trust me, you will not gte better anywhere else south of the Watford Gap. The dinners came and both the fish were of ample size with the batter nice and light, you could tell they had been cooked fresh. The chips were hot and many, there could be no complaints there. Please be aware that if you order sides there is enough to go around 2/3 people. The curry sauce was very good (personally would've preferred Irish Curry sauce) and the Pea's seem to be home made/mashed. I was not enamoured with the Peas as they had a sweet taste to them although my wife said they were passable. Overall, regardless of the Peas you should give this place a try, you will not be disappointed. The overall price for all of the above was just £48.00 with no service charge added. We gave them a £7.00 tip as the staff had earned it. Will be going again when we return to the smoke.

Decent portions and good choice on the menu but I'm afraid I can't recommend the chips which were tasteless, the fish which was overcooked and the sausage which was doused in a grim batter. Better than nothing but I'm afraid I wouldn't recommend.

Teniendo en cuenta que vengo de Málaga y la Costa del Sol y que el pescaito frito es típico de allí, está fue mi primera experiencia con fish and chips. Para empezar, me sorprendió ver que el pescado está rebozado. Las patatas me parecieron caseras. Los precios son acorde a los precios de Londres, bastante caros. Pero el sitio en general me gustó, y la comida buena y saciante.

Essen ist geschmacklich in Ordnung. Vor Ort gibt es auch genug Sitzplätze. Schade war, dass die Preise vor kurzem stark angezogen wurden. Zudem mussten wir mit Bargeld zahlen, da das EC-Lesegerät scheinbar defekt war. Daher musste ich im Bahnhof Bargeld abheben gehen und darauf noch Gebühren zahlen, nicht schön. Zusätzlich 12,5% Servicepauschale.
