Love this shop, the owners are so knowledgeable and friendly. A font of local knowledge both produce and locations to visit and please please try their homemade products like pasties, they are delicious and very reasonable considering the quality! I will enjoy my grumble bee honey rum and be in for another bottle next time we are down 👍

Visited Braunton while in Devon over the holidays. Found this great shop. The owners were so nice and gave us tips on places of interest to visit while we were in the area. The pastries, cheeses, and gin were all delicious. The Christmas jam and Boxing Day chutney were absolutely scrumptious. Braunton is lucky to have such a great shop in town. Highly recommend stopping in when you're in the area.

Brilliant little shop in Braunton. So much that you will never find in a supermarket. If you like your pasties try here. Nice selection of Gins rums and cheese. And you can try before you buy.. You can't do that in a supermarket!

First visit on Saturday to this local shop. We went to buy some Scotch eggs which were advertised on their Facebook site. We were impressed by the welcome and array of local produce on offer. The two Scotch eggs were nice but a little bit pricey. They have a few tables to sit down and enjoy the drinks and food...a very nice, well run and quality establishment. Gra and Sandy

Very nice little cafe, although only a small menu available it was very nice. I had scotch egg which was delicious. Other options cooked include: quiche, pasty, cheese, meats and salads. They also have some local raw steaks for BBQ’ing. They looked very good quality 👍 Owners are friendly and chatty. If you like gin then they have a good selection of fine gin on offer, to which my wife assured me! Haha.

Only a few tables in this small shop but try and have a coffee in this lovely shop that specialises in locally sourced and Westcountry food. Excellent cheeses and local gins and ciders. A veritable treasure trove of good food and drink.

Late afternoon in May - in desperate search of a cream tea and really thought our luck had run out until we stumbled across this fabulous deli. Torn between a savoury tea (cheese scone, chutney), tradition came tops - warm scone, thick clotted cream and the BEST strawberry jam (we bought a jar to take home!) The shop is full of all local produce. Whatever we picked up the nice lady owner (whose name we failed to register) could tell us how many (or rather how few) miles away that particular biscuit etc was produced. We went away clutching a picnic supper for our campsite including the most fabulous lamb and mint pasty (again, made by a lady down the road). Don't let the busy road (Braunton traffic can be intense) put you off - step inside the narrow pavement into this oasis of culinary delights. Miss it? Miss out.

I wanted to see if exactly what this relatively new village establishment was like inside; the food and drink it sold (as a retail outlet) and had no idea how popular it is for people to sit and drink coffee! Once I'd had a lovely chat with the proprietors, who are very helpful and hold a very varied stock of fresh, chilled food plus many other specialist foods and drinks, I sat and had a decaffeinated coffee, made to order (waitress service). They make the coffee from the brand they sell and it's a strong, very tasteful coffee. The surroundings are pleasant, tables laid in a pleasant way near the window for maximum light and prices similar to other village cafés.

Wow, this is a super experience. We were exploring on a cold, wet day and quite simply wanted a decent coffee in a warm establishment that had some ambiance where we could hear ourselves talk and not be part of a loud pre-school group. It was literally 20 mins before Fine Foods was due to close but we were welcomed in. The coffee was so divine ( I had a latte and my partner had an americano). Just perfect; infact we bought some beans to take home (and some Cornish Yarg). Also had chocolate cake and a slice with nuts. Both great. The owners took time to talk with us and we learnt that not only do they source primarily West Country products from 65 suppliers but they also have an extensive supply of (e.g.) West Country gins, wines, cheeses, yogurts, milk (in real glass bottles), pies, pastries and butters to name but a few. Braunton is so lucky to have this little gem in town and so much better than shopping in the faceless supermarkets. We hope many support this cafe / deli. It has been open just a few months and wish them well. We will be back for sure.
