One of the most friendly chippy's in Wolverhampton great food and allways leave laughing or smiling.

The bald guy always looks wired like he's been on the sesh foods always raw and cold very disappointed

There's four fish and chip shops that I always recommend. La Cucina in Chapel Ash, Nemo's in Dudley, Codsall Fish Bar in Codsall, and here. La Cucina may be the best in the Midlands but that's mostly for their pizzas. For a standard fish and chips I would probably go here. Great service too. Only downside...when I went they had a sign up saying that they only take cash. I'm not sure whether that's still the case.

Plain chips, not greasy but nice and crisp. Lovely fish. Top place.

Waited longer than expected. Portions are smaller then other takeouts, but food was quality, and I’d rather have quality then quantity. The gentleman at the end of phone was helpful.Definitely recommend and would use again

I gave it four because it’s my 1st time there and like anything consistency Is key . For a 1st try it was tremendous never even made it home pulled up and ate the Fish and chips 😂 A lot of chip shops out there and 99% are rubbish which means a lot of people have these places that dont care.

I ordered mini and chips and a mix wrap food was spot on ,very polite staff will be returning thankyou .

EXCEPTIONAL cod, perfectly cooked in a delicious light batter and double the size of whats sold in chippies where I live in Berkshire. Very welcoming staff.

Tried the fish & chips and was not disappointed by far the best fish & chip shop in the area fish was very fresh and tasty will definitely go back, The gentleman was very polite and welcoming you can tell he takes pride in what he does keep up the great work ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cold doner meat and soggy white chips

Wow what a lovely meal. We ordered Doner Kebab in tray with chips . 3 times. Food arrived in 20 mins . Very hot . Delivered by lovely lady who was smiling and very upbeat. This great to see. The food was fresh and very tasty. They even labelled the box with what was inside so we know who’s is who’s. Summing up it makes a change to order from someone who lets you know your business is important to them. Well done Seagull. Will order from you again in the future.

Excellent service from Guv and his family, place is always spotlessly clean and welcoming. Prices are what you would expect from a chip shop that serves quality fish and chips. Very bad i ordered for the first time. And they missed a sausage of my order so rang up then was told they would send one out to us. So was happy with that but after waitin near 1 hour i decided to ring back to check then told that they refunding the cost of sausage. This is after i here the man in the background going on at the girl i was talking to on phone very disappointing as my child had to wait so long to be fed. So will be going back to kings chip inn

I recently started using the Seagull and have been delighted with the beautiful large cod and chips. The fish is cooked perfectly and coated with a crisp tasty batter. The chips are a lovely golden brown and are really scrummy! Highly recommended, best chip shop in the area by far

I lovely local fish and chip shop. Great for a chippy tea. Always a queue which is a good sign of a good chip shop. Portions are generous fish freshly cooked. Any special requests dealt with quickly. Staff pleased to be of assistance and ensure that your dinner is the best they can offer you.

One of the best traditional fish and chip shops in the area. The fish was clean and very tasty. The chips were not greasy, they were spot on. The peas were also homemade and also full of flavour. I was very impressed by the quality of the food.

Had the fish and chips. Top quality well done. The shop is immaculate and service is second to none!! I'm very impressed.

When first opened I agree that the food was lovely. Cooked to perfection. As time has gone on the food has slightly gone downhill. I had fish which the batter underneath was that soggy that I had to throw it away! My husband had chicken meat that gave him severe stomach pains he thought he may have had food poisoning. The waiting time in there is ridiculous! You can't pop here if you want quick service. You wait at least 20 minutes from your order being taken to you getting your food!

The Chips and fish are a bit oily! Its that Palm oil taste. The prices are average. The new owners are making a good effort to improve their image - previous owners were awful

Spotlessly clean take away with efficient, friendly and funny staff. Lovely fish served in light crispy batter and real chips; tasty curry sauce and gravy. Has been packed every time I have been in, and rightly so. Is now our regular.

Chips are the best, went to get my 88 year old Mom fish and chips she doesn't live in finchfield and was concerned they would be cold by the time i got them to her. The lady made sure that it was very hot to start with and they was still hot and Mom enjoyed them so a big thank you.😀🍟

First and last time. Ordered a Donna Kebab and the pitta bread was soaked through with grease. I understand that kebabs hold a bit of oil but I’ve had thousands in my time but never have I had it a saturated. I’ve called them and explained the situation, they have said come In For an exchange but it’s too late. My wife and daughter have both finished their meals. Evening dinner ruined

Used for the first and last time. Chicken tougher than Foghorn Leghorn. Chips seemed like they had been cooked in 10 year old oil. Peas watery and too much vinegar. Only plus point fish was ok.

Friendly staff...the battered chips were vile and i think they were left over from lunch time,they were soggy and greasy

I've used this chippy many times over the past few years and the mini fish & chips are pretty good, I do wish the customer service was a little better and think for the price a small tub of curry sauce or peas should be included, like other shops in the area... so not rushing back.

This is one of our local chippies and the proprietors are nice people. A real family run business. It does all the usual stuff and does them all pretty well.
