Figs in North East Lincolnshire

It was a lovely evening here probably like many mine and my wifes first night out for a while since corona etc.. Best beef i've had for a very long time and bottomless gin what a win. Was not left dissapointed will be returning for sure

For many, a visit to the seaside goes hand in hand with rock, candyfloss & fish & chips. Oh, & of course the sea. Anyway, there are a number of good fish & chip holes in Cleethorpes but we didnt't really feel like that kind of thing. Nor for us the fancy tea room, formal restaurant, pub or bar. Enter this place. Not too restauaranty or bary or tearoomy, a bit goldilocks zone really. Limited menu, but thats okay, they were just easing themselves back in during the current crisis. What they did was fine, three courses for £18.00 with good service & a good atmosphere. I will shortly be in Cleethorpes again & will be paying another visit to Figs.

It's our 1st time eating here since lockdown the food was lovely well worth visit. We'll be back soon for xmas afternoon tea 😁

It was our first dining experience since lockdown and we were not disappointed! The staff were attentive and the food was absolutely divine - especially the brisket which just melted in your mouth and was served with a generous portion of fresh greens. We cannot wait to return.

First time visiting figs, the food certainly lived upto the hype - had an amazing starter of prawns and crayfish followed by steak with a creamy peppercorn sauce, roasted potatoes and green beans. The dessert of Eton Mess looked so yummy and it really was a taste sensation. All in all great food and a very warm welcome from the staff made our visit extremely enjoyable.

Fantastic little restaurant on the seafront. Staff were lovely and provided an excellent customer service. The food was outstanding. I had the pork belly with sangria sauce which was beautiful. My husband had the steak which was cooked beautifully, and our friends also had the steak and beef which they thoroughly enjoyed. I will be back to this lovely little restaurant again soon. Highly recommended.

Finally celebrated my friend’s birthday with afternoon tea here today and it was absolutely delicious. The menu includes delightful small portions of a variety of dishes rather than just sandwiches & cake, I would highly recommend it! The staff and service were first class too.

Amazing experience, food and service and can’t wait to return. If you don’t mind paying slightly more for great food and a great experience then Get itself to figs. It is good value for money!

A small group of us ordered the Best of British afternoon tea - around 9 different dishes in miniature. The food was wonderful and the presentation and attention to detail was superb. We also liked that there were equally delicious vegetarian alternatives where appropriate. We were amazed - a taste sensation ! We can’t wait to go back again . The restaurant was busy but we were served with no waiting for courses ( we’d booked ) - the service was excellent and the staff really friendly and helpful. Thank you Figs - an exceptional meal.

The food was excellent. We had both fish and meat , all cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly and made sure all rules regarding Covid were adhered to.

Great food - rude front of house. Unwilling to accept or consider what we experienced and witnessed whilst dining there. Obviously the waitresses are not going to admit to ill-treatment. We were sitting with a lot of flies and we were refused lemon.

I had ordered the afternoon tea from here for myself, and three others of my family. I had ordered the day before upon their website, and I heard back quickly in regards for the selection, and if anyone had allergies and had perfect service over the phone. Upon picking up the order and getting home, myself and my family were more then satisfied with the portions and selection of food. My mother is gluten free, and was impressed with gluten free alternatives. She was satisfied with everything, especially with some restaurants having an awful gluten free selection.Afterwards all of us was left full and happy, and we couldn't offer anything but praise. Definitely be hearing from us again within the future.

We booked table for four. Two couldnt attend and we was told £10 would be kept from the £20 deposit we paid Then we were led to the only table available; a table set for two. So good job four of us never turned up as we’d have been waiting a while.Only one menu handed out, asked for another only to be told only one menu per person-this is helping Covid how?And every other restaurant in the town hands out one menu per person.My mate asked for gin with ice and lemon. Was told not allowed to give him lemon!Again, are the managers just making these rules up. I’ve never heard of anyone infected from a lemon. But Figs maybe know more than we do.Or maybe, i dunno, use tongs.So before we even picked a meal, the evening was tainted with petty pointless rules.Food was fine. Nothing amazing for the price. Average.

Had a rare child free date night here. The food was the best we've had in the area and very filling too. We will be going back again. Couldn't fault the food or the staff at all, great atmosphere. Thanks Team!

Ok so to start, my friends and I attended to restaurant on a Tuesday evening. We booked way in advance. Usually is out of our price range but because of the help out offer we thought it was a good deal. The food was very good. However the service was diabolical. My friend left a review (being a keen foody) to warn others about the arrogant ‘part-owners’ attitude to non-regulars and awkward/clicky atmosphere. She was then directly messaged by ‘figs’ tell her how she is wrong and that she should get evidence and how amazing the business is... along with many other aggressive and offensive things. I’d think twice before putting your money into this ‘owners’ pocket. The service in the chippies is better than this and figs is 10x the price! Boycott!

I took my good lady out for a well deserved evening out for the first time since lockdown without the kids and it didn't disappoint. It was good to see how well spaced out the restaurant was as we were still very uneasy about going out with the pandemic still going on. The staff were wearing visors for protection as well as masks. As for the food, the menu has something for everyone from slow cooked brisket to mouth watering chateaubriand. The fish special was what I went for, the stuffed plaice sounded too good to pass up on this occasion. It was filled with crab and crayfish and served with a gorgeous creamy leek sauce... amazing! The lady went for the monkfish which came with a beautiful salmon fish cake, she kindly shared and it was supreme in taste. Overall, an amazing evening to ease us back into normality. I will be returning soon - 5 stars!

Figs has made lockdown just about bearable The take outs have been superb and the food has not suffered for it. Afternoon Tea for Father’s Day? Amazing. Chateaubriand? Perfect. I could go on, but I think you get the picture about the super efficient service and delicious food. Once lockdown ended and Gigs reopened with reduced covers, we couldn’t wait to go back. A lovely afternoon tea and the three course lunchtime special. I feel like a bit of a cheer leader, but after fifteen years I am still waiting to have a poor experience there. Owners are accommodating and the staff are polite, professional and make you feel welcome and valued as a customer. Looking forward to going again.

First time back at Figs since lockdown. Well spaced out tables. Service was impeccable. The afternoon tea looked wonderful, and was really delicious. Never disappointed here. Will be back again very soon.

I’m actually rather annoyed to have to write this as I really do like to focus on the positive points in a restaurant yet there’s only one and that’s that the food is delicious - which is a key aspect I’m aware. However, most of us go not only for the dining but the atmosphere and experience - especially in a place such as figs which is considered fine dining in Cleethorpes with a higher price tag than most others. The gentleman who I can only assume is the manager was extremely rude, starting off by talking down to the 2 waitresses who were lovely but seemed very intimidated and thus making an uncomfortable atmosphere. Following this, he was also rude to a customer who came in asking if there was any seating (I know it’s COVID currently and they may not be able to accommodate) but he literally shouted no from across the restaurant making us and quite possibly her feel embarrassed. It was again an extremely awkward atmosphere and damn right rude thing to do as he then allowed 6 ‘locals’ into the restaurant over 2 tourists who he just squawked at for asking 5 minutes prior. Like I say the food is great and the chef is obviously extremely talented, it’s just a shame the manager is quite clearly unaware that the future generations are going to be their future customers and the awkward, non interactive rushed experience will possibly see them fail.

Figs is a family favourite and this was our first dining out experience since the lockdown and we knew we were in safe hands; the atmosphere was still very cozy and friendly. The food is always to a high standard and the soup is definately a favourite for starter. This is the best restaurant in Cleethorpes by a mile!

Following a reccomendation from our friends we had the takeaway menu from the restaurant and it was stunning in every way. We had a 15 min drive back to the caravan and it was still piping hot. I can highly reccomend the menu, many thanks to you and the staff.

It is great to see that figs has reopened for take away menu after lockdown closure. Dinner is available Thursday to Saturday and afternoon tea Thursday to Sunday. Pre orders only. The ordering process was a little strange in that you complete a request on their website and they phoned me back the next morning! However they were very efficient and friendly on the telephone. You agree a pick up time on the telephone and and collect from a table at the front door of the premises. The menu is refreshingly different to a bog standard English Afternion Tea and offers sweet and savoury dishes. Not all bogged down with sandwiches- you get just one with a choice of 4 different fillings and on white or wholemeal bread- it is a full sandwich on lovely bloomer bread. Savoury dishes include a mini prawn cocktail, chicken tikka skewer with mint dip and a wonderful sausage roll with fig chutney. The sweet selection gives you a chocolate cheesecake and a mini scone with clotted cream and jam. This is accompanied by a 1/4 bottle of prosecco and a special tea bag ! Priced at a nudge under £20, I considered this good value given the quality of food and presentation. It is something rather special. I was 10 minutes early for collection but this was not a problem. Attended to by Mr Figs himself - he was very amiable and charming. I will definately return even now my cover has been blown ! I do have a but of a chequered history with Mr Figs who asked me not to visit again after I gave them a 3 star review but I got in under the radar subsequenrly for a friends birthday and that meal was excellent. I am pleased to be able to give another 5 star rating. Truly deserved.

Due to Covid 19 afternoon tea takeaway ordered for my girlfriend's birthday. Ordering process was simple and payment process easy.Collected at pre arranged time.Social distancing observed on collection which was simple and efficient. The afternoon tea itself was well presented and tasted just as good with a good selection of food with a mini bottle of prosecco to wash it down.First time having food from Figs and we will definitely be visiting again either for a takeaway or to dine in when the restrictions are lifted.

Absolutley a five star service, for food presentation and taste beautifull, 5 star service with a smile for lisa whos always welcoming to me and my mum highly recomend this place, we certainly will be back very soon thankyou

Visited here with bf for the early evening set menu - which is pretty much most of the evening menu. Small, cosy restaurant - nice for date night or small groups. Great value at £17.95 for two courses but to be honest both of us were full after the main: Jacob’s Ladder was awesome

Took my friend to Figs for a birthday treat for the afternoon tea. Booked in advance as they get busy.The afternoon tea is very unique and makes such a nice change to the usual sandwiches and cakes.The food was delivered in three stages which gives you chance to enjoy each dish. All of the food was beautifully presented. The flavours of each dish were really well put together.The staff were lovely and nothing was to much trouble. We will definitely be going again. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

Empty bar one table with reserved on every other table. Seemed to be a way of screening who they accepted (on a cold wet Friday lunchtime in Feb) as walking by later it was still empty!

Largely empty with reserved signs on every table so couldn't even get in to see a menu. Not a place for a quick lunch whilst walking around town or a beach visit. Not dog friendly either.

Had a light lunch after a business meeting at Figs. Nothing was too much trouble, very friendly staff and a stylish place in the heart of Cleethorpes. Food was fantastic and the coffee was great!

Great food, table booked for 7.45, had to ask numerous of times to take drinks order, finally taken around 8.20. Eating our mains at 21.45 won’t return again due to this. No reasons given or apologies.

First ever visit yesterday, we took Mum for a birthday treat. Lovely window table. We ordered Prawn Cocktail, Short Ribs & Beetroot humous for starters, followed by Pork, Seabass & Veg Risotto for mains. Nothing was too much trouble all evening, with my Risotto being specially made as I don’t like tomatoes - have to say it was the tastiest Risotto I have ever had. We had a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon and ordered two desserts.....Toffee Apple Crumble and Panne Cotta. Both were apparently delicious (I was too full to eat dessert). Presentation was lovely. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere in this lovely little Restaurant was spot on.....from the music to the lighting to the attentive yet not over-eager service. We all thoroughly enjoyed the evening and left happy, full and looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended!

The ‘RETRO 20’ afternoon tea was amazing, all the dishes served were delicious and fresh. I especially enjoyed the mini chicken Kiev and pie. The balance of savoury and sweet is just right, the inclusion of a glass of Prosecco is great too. In my opinion, Figs afternoon tea is the best in the local area and believe me I’ve tried quite a few. The service is brilliant, attentive but not intrusive. They always make me feel welcome whether I am with my husband/family or friends. If you don’t fancy the afternoon tea then they have a lovely lunch menu or for the evening another choice of menu. I would highly recommend Figs, I think the price is reflective in the quality of the dishes served. You won’t be disappointed.

My wife and I have visited a number of times and especially enjoy the afternoon teas. Retro 20 didn't disappoint. Everything was served promptly by friendly and informative staff. The food was all delicious and a great selection. The hot dishes were all a good temperature and the cold dishes nice and fresh tasting, especially the prawn and avaccado cocktail. I'm not sure I've ever had a better warm scone with jam and clotted cream. Great food at a reasonable price in a nice environment. I would highly recommend it.

Decided on a trip to Cleethorpes today. We thought we might have fish and chips however I find the thought is always better than the experience so ....

Stopped for lunch .Had a gorgeous creamy parsnip soup and a fillet steak. Husband and grandson had fish and chips which they both said was the best they had ever eaten. Service was welcoming and friendly

We live locally and called in when passing for a meal around 5pm. We hadn't booked but there were plenty of empty tables. We were told"if you can order and eat up in 45 minutes, you can sit down" needless to say,we left and went to Dovedale which is on Albert road (round the corner) and much more pleasant.

We called in to this sea front restaurant in Cleethorpes,Lincs. However, once entered, you could feel the warmth and exact servicing in place.

Went for the Christmas afternoon tea with all the girls from work was my first time at the restaurant I thoughly enjoyed it the dishes were lovely couldn't fault it the staff were really friendly will definitely come back again.

Had 'afternoon tea' there early December with 9 friends. The food was excellent, if pricey at £25.95. Could have done with another coffee. The wine was pricey too at £5.80 for a glass of rose.

A few friends and I visited figs for the first time and we can’t wait to come back. The food was incredible and the owner and staff so friendly and accommodating. Lovely warm welcoming atmosphere, and my new favourite place to eat.

Took the good lady out for a treat had heard good things I went for a rare fillet with a peppercorn sauce both cooked to perfection.and the homemade chips were to die for.my partner had the belly pork and was kind enough to share the most amazing crackling in the world we definitely go again if not just for the crackling :)

We have had quite a few of figs afternoon teas now, & I've got to say this one is our favourite! Every mini dish was delicious! Can't wait for my next visit, service is always 10/10 friendly & efficient xx

Another fabulous afternoon tea at Figs. A couple of weeks ago we had enjoyed the retro afternoon tea. We booked the Christmas afternoon tea wondering if Figs could go one better on the retro AT. The answer is yes. What a fabulous time we have had today. Staff is always welcoming and attentive even when they are very busy. Figs has never let me down, be it lunch, afternoon tea, early evening menu or dinner. All their menus are online if like me you like to check out what’s on offer and the cost. All in all a wonderful day and we will be back there in a couple of weeks for another afternoon tea. We can’t wait!

An unplanned visit !! I gave an average review at last visit some months ago and the 'charmer'- 'Mr Figs'- responded by suggesting I didn't visit again ?! However - back in the area to celebrate a friends birthday , this was their restaurant of choice. I was rather pleasantly surprised. Luckily i slipped under the radar and was permitted entry ! I do have the say that the dining experience was excellent in every way - service, ingredients , flavour, presentation and ambience ! Young but very competent staff. So there you go ! It truly deserves a 5 star Trip Advisor Rating for this visit. The Halibut special with pea risotto and peashoots was just beautiful- fish so fresh and cooked to perfection. Pricing does seem a bit top end for area but it was a quality dining experience. I have looked at the retro afternoon tea menu which looks FAB- so very different to Afternoon Tea you get elsewhere- must give that a go next time I am in town?- 'Mr Fig ' permitting. It was a lovely meal.

We have been here several times. It is a lovely place with a great atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, I had the Halibut with chowder, it was perfectly cooked and gorgeous chowder. We will definitely continue to visit. If we had one criticism it would be the owner stood with his hand placed leaning on our table a few times whilst talking to the table next to us, a conversation we weren’t involved in & some may say I’m being pedantic.

Saturday evening, very busy but great friendly service. The menu is succinct and does justice to the produce. We were a group of four and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal - the boys had a starter (soup) and no one had a dessert, but what we ate could not be faulted. Will go again.

I visited Figs yesterday for my mums 70th birthday and had their Retro Afternoon Tea its was lovely and made a change from finger sandwiches. We were treated to mini versions of fish and chips, cheeseburger, minced beef pie, chicken with sweet/spicy sauce, prawn cocktail followed by apple crumble/icecream, lemon meringue cheesecake and scone/jam clotted cream washed down with glass of prosecco and tea/coffee. All the food was delicious and very good quality with great service. I would highly recommend Retro Afternoon tea and thankyou Figs for a lovely afternoon enjoyed by everyone.

Went at Lunch time, and we both choose the three course menu, every course was great, service fantastic, food amazing, great chef. Will definitely be returning, and would 100% recommend as our best restaurant in Cleethorpes.

We were the only couple dining for lunch at the time,although there were two parties having afternoon tea,and one couple having a coffee.It was the first day of a new menu.

I cautiously asked for a combination of a couple of main courses and the chef produced exactly what I’d asked for. Great food, attractively presented and with a smile. Wine was delicious and didn’t break the bank. Contemporary feel with great service.

Were in Cleethorpes killing time before collecting son in Grimsby. Of course it started to rain but we were lucky to come across Figs. Although it was really lunch time it was fine to order the "scone crate". They were the best scones we have had for a very long time and beautifully presented with jam and cream. We watched other orders being served and they all looked delicious. We will definately be back.

We were in during lunch last week and had some fabulous food. My partner had the pork belly and i had the seafood salad. Both dishere were excellent, by far the most sophisticated food we have eaten in cleethorpes. We are looking forward to returning at the weekend.

My wife and i ate here on weds 18/9/19 just took a chance on a walk in and managed to get a table straight away,staff very pleasant and helpful,wife had the Brisket Pie and i had the slow braised rib of beef with red wine jus,4 veg allcooked to perfection still crunchy, and triple cooked chips the size of giants fingers, best chips ever!

Came here for tea last night for my birthday and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish everything was well and truly delicious! The girl serving us was lovely, everything was just perfect I was so happy to have my birthday meal here. I had the latte caramel churros for desert and it was genuinely the best thing I have ever ate! Highly recommend!

I visited with colleagues earlier this month as we all had a £20 voucher to spend. We chose afternoon tea and whilst it was enjoyable I felt it was very overpriced, £24 each. I would return to figs but would maybe order something else.

We had the themed afternoon tea. It included two drinks -prosecco/small beer/juice on arrival and tea/coffee later. The menu was available online and whilst the food was explained as it was delivered, a menu was not given to us at the table. Fortunately, I was already aware it was £22.95 per head.

my wife and i have been to figs a few times as we live just around the corner. its always been very good. we have had lunch but never an afternoon tea. this was a tea with a twist. a festival style affair. it was fantastic. a selection of hot and cold nibbles, bites and buns.

We went to Figs on Friday night, our first visit,it was well worth it. We went with three friends. The menu was extensive as was the wine list. The waitresses were very good and attentive and the landlord had a good sense of humour..we will certainly go again.

Had the new festival afternoon tea this week. I loved the tandoori chicken kebab, could have eaten that 2 or 3 times more! We had a lovely time. Also discovered a new fruit tea flavour that I'll be searching for in future.

We find Figs our 'go to' restaurant in the Grimsby/Cleethorpes area, a solid favourite of ours that always delivers first class service, superb food and all perfectly reasonably priced. The ambience was perfect :-) as was the hospitality shown to us.

My husband and I have been today for Afternoon Tea, it was beautifully presented, looked and tasted absolutely gorgeous. Figs is a lovely place, in a great location, very efficient service and really friendly and welcoming staff. We dined in the evening around 19.30, there was a early dinning menu option as well as the main menu. My wife and I where well impressed with the food options and the service was good. A lovely evening and excellent food.

Whilst dining here last week I noticed the seafood bowl being served to another customer, as id already ordered my usual dish I just had to come back to try it this week! I definitely wasn't disappointed it was delicious...calamari, prawns, king prawn, salmon, smoked salmon on a bed of salad all in a baked tortilla my partner had the pork & minty chocolate torte to finish with latter being the best thing in the world (apparently) excellent service as always

Special birthday celebration with family. Staff attentive. Food looked good but was lacking in seasoning - I know it's all personal but didn't feel it was value for money. .

Popped in for lunch today and had some absolutely fantastic food. The young lady who was the only one serving was an absolute star. Very attentive and we were fantastically looked after without a fuss.

This is my go to restaurant if I want a nice meal out! I go here for special occasions like birthdays. We love the basket of bread here(always boiling hot with plenty of dip).

Restaurant booked for a business meal for 10 people. Expected an ok kinda meal as it is cleethorpes!? Really impressed with a manageable size menu choice, attention to detail and excellent service from the really friendly staff. What I got as a meal was superb! Good ,but not excessive, portion size so beautifully cooked and presented you’d expect to pay over £100 per plate in the capital.

Took my wife here last night for her 50th birthday, first time I had dined here and must say what an excellent night. Staff were very polite, great atmosphere, didn't feel rushed between courses like at some places. Eaten out at many different places in Cleethorpes and must say this was up there as one of the best, the food was excellent, will be visiting again soon. Booked afternoon tea for my birthday in May.

I visited Figs for the first time for an evening meal in December. It was an all round lovely dining experience. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious with generous portion sizes. The atmosphere was nice and chilled.

Visited for the retro afternoon tea. The service was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. The food was beautiful! Every single thing tasted amazing and we enjoyed every bit of it. We hope to return again soon.

Our first visit to Figs after reading reviews on TA. Bit of an early Mother's Day treat from hubs so I got to choose venue!

We're four friends who enjoyed a really excellent lunch at Figs. The service was prompt and friendly, the food from the set lunch menu was delicious and the ambience of the restaurant couldn't have been better. We don't get together very often and felt under no time pressure whatsoever, and that our business was really appreciated. It's nice that a clearly successful restaurant still gives off that vibe. The mains were fish pie and chicken Kiev à la Figs, and all were perfectly cooked.

I have recently had two afternoon teas and an evening meal at this restaurant and it was fabulous. The retro afternoon tea was exceptional and the Fish in the evening was 5 star. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Wow what a fantastic meal there " had a amazing night food was to die for " staff was attentive and thought full " atmosphere was great " their restaurant was buzzing " all the dinners looked like they were really enjoying them selfs. This was our first visit to this lovely restaurant and we had the 3 course early dinner menu.The meals were very nice and well cooked.We would definately return again.

Went for afternoon tea with 3 friends. £25 per head which was pricey. The food was good but only 1 pot of tea for 4 persons and when we asked for another pot of tea they charged us £2 per person. Most others provide unlimited tea or coffee. Disappointing and had better and cheaper elsewhere

Our Son took us today to celebrate his Dads birthday, food excellent as well as service, we had a super lunch.

Great food, great atmosphere. Service excellent as you want when going out for dinner. Menu choice good. Portion size good too.

We visited figs for a late Valentine's meal. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Service was excellent, very friendly & attentive! The food without a doubt in our opinion is definitely the best in the area. The duck with whiskey sauce is delicious 10/10. All our dishes was of a very high standard. Figs really do go that extra mile with attention to detail. Thanks again for making our evening so special:-)

Finally, booked a table to enjoy the early dining menu yesterday and what a treat it was. We opted for two mains and two puds and weren't disappointed. My chicken was flavoursome, tender and easily came off the skewer. Served sizzling on a platter with mixed Mediterranean veg and a lovely tzatziki. My husband had the breadcrumb coated haddock - plentiful and crunchy coating with accompanying tartar sauce. The separately served chips were delicious and I pinched a few! I chose the ice cream with choc-orange sauce and ugly biscuit. Personally, I would have preferred a shortbread or brandy snap biscuit (but I have a very sweet tooth), but the vanilla icecream was bursing with flavour and the sauce was TDF! My hubby's panna cotta was lemony zesty fresh and both dishes were accompanied by raspberries and mint leaves. Very comfortable and welcoming service - felt at home immediately. The surroundings were very dark, cosy and inviting and not too many tables packed in. The Italian beer we chose was very reasonably priced and next time we come, we will stay over so we can enjoy some wine and delve into the delights of the main menu. Thank you all - a very lovely evening.

Lovely food and great service. Didn't feel like being in Cleethorpes! I had the calamari and we both had crispy belly pork.

We were due in the area for the day and I was assured I would be only able to find fish and chips. Did a bit of looking around and found Fig. Difficult as I am on a diet and this menu is amazing. I went for the fillet steak and salad and my friend opted for the short rib sandwich. Both were wonderful and one of the hardest things about this restaurant was choosing!

The whole thing was fabulous for the four of us who came, each meal was beautiful. Cant wait to come back and try the afternoon tea.

In a lovingly decorated traditional seaside location this restaurant is a gem. The unassuming team ensureyou are comfortable without being fussed over. The menu is simple to get around with specials explained to you. Fish is outstanding, whichever way it is cooked ... Figs Excell at this. The deserts are delicious, make sure you leave room! A well developed wine list means there is something for everyone.
