Fantastic venue for business events. I had the Lewes room for a day of workshops. Helen, Ian, and Julian looked after us brilliantly and the lunch they laid on was superb. Recommended.

I attended a small function in the Barn. Lovely setting, the food was also good.

Tennis courts, and netball courts, all good , and having flood lights is a bonus.

A great location for a wedding, it's one of my favourite wedding venues, this offers a great opportunity for wedding photographers, with huge wedding shoot locations within the grounds

After looking at a few venues for our wedding, we came across Field Place and fell in love with it straight away! We knew that this was the place that we wanted to have our special day, from the beautiful grounds and the ease of having our full day here. Amanda has been fab throughout the whole planning process, she goes above and beyond to make the day perfect and is only an email (or meeting!) away for any advice and questions that we needed to ask! Our wedding day was seamless, it went so smoothly and that’s all because of Amanda, Emma and their team who looked after us on the day! Also, thank you to Adam from Hardings Catering for then continuing this throughout the evening. The food was absolutely amazing, from the taster evening to the day, they were fantastic and provided such a delicious wedding breakfast and evening food too. We had the package that included Hire Your Day, OliveJoy and Elegant Stationary, and we are so grateful for everyone’s hard work and attention to detail to make our day so special! We had the most wonderful wedding day at Field Place❤️

We recently held a corporate function for 100 people at Field Place and everything was perfect. It is a beautiful venue and Julian, Helen and the team went over and above to make sure everything ran smoothly, both in the run up to the event and also on the day. I'd highly recommend to anyone holding a corporate event in the area

I used to go with my children to play table tennis. Staffs are friendly. Toilet facilities close by. Nice, clean and warm place

We held our joint anniversary party here in the Sussex Barn. The staff at preparation stage were helpful and accommodating as were the staff on duty that night. Our guests commented on how lovely the venue was and how much they had enjoyed the food - thank you Hardings. We had a brilliant time, very informal and great fun whilst creating some amazing memories.

Not a review of Field Place itself, but the driving test centre which has been relocated here from Lancing. There is no signage or information online about this change, which is very confusing for people unfamiliar with the area.

Visited for Santa special with my grandchildren, it was brilliant. So well organised.

We visited yesterday having booked a 2pm slot for our 11 month old to see santa on her first Christmas. We were told they were running behind and to go over to the barn. Other than having a photo taken there was nothing of interest in there. Colouring in and a bouncy castle. Not much of a wonderland at all. We went back over to see Santa and were told we still couldn’t go in, 20 minutes after our slot. It was pouring with rain and nothing else to do. The boy on the door didn’t have a clue how to organise anything, he was quite rude too. I won’t go into the conversation but we ended up getting a refund and leaving. Will NEVER go there again, what a shambles and they ruined what should have been our daughters first Santa visit. Awful Place, awful people.

Went to see Santa with my four year old. It was a timed session and we got there on time. However, we had to wait 1 hour in a very long queue to see Santa. Luckily I have a very patient 4 year old. When we finally saw Santa the gift he gave my four year old was a baby book?! He literally told him he was four.. The book was worth about £1.00. What a waste of money. They did have a few other things going on for their winter wonderland but we had a waited so long and my son was so disappointed with his present we decided to leave!

Absolutely beautiful setting for weddings and events, I study here, and the facilities and staff are first class.

Booked rooms here a few times for training and then for a memorial service at the weekend. The two young guys were so incredibly helpful with everything. It absolutely made the day a better day because of their can do and helpful attitudes. Also the place is beautiful.

We recently styled a Wedding here with our light up Mr & Mrs letters, blossom trees and more at the beautiful Field place. The staff were fantastic and the venue is lovely. Would highly recommend - Lauren & Aaron

Field Place is a lovely wedding venue - it is such a beautiful place with a stunning flower garden and outdoor ceremony area! I absolutely loved working there recently delivery a wedding cake!

Had our wedding here 24th September, We cannot stress enough just how beautiful Field Place is, From start to finish every member of staff went out of their way to ensure our special day was as magical as possible. They went above and beyond and far exceeded our expectations, HUGE thanks to Amanda who has been on hand for the last 3 years giving us advice and guidance, Trust us if you are getting married you need yourself an Amanda!!! This is the venue to get married at, so easy to see why it has won so many awards. Our Wedding couldnt of gone any smoother, we honestly had the best time. 10/10 venue to get married at. We had our wedding here on 8th of September and can't rate the venue and staff highly enough. Amanda made the whole process from booking, to the big day an easy and enjoyable experience. I can assure anyone who is thinking of booking their wedding at field place that you will be in great hands. The venue and gardens are beautiful. All the staff and their in house caterers, Hardings, did an excellent job. All the guests were raving about the food.

We were lucky enough to have had our wedding here on the 15th July 2022 and the entire experience was a joy and the results were excellent. Amanda and her team took us through the entire process of arranging, planning and executing it, and they all went above and beyond to ensure it all ran smoothly. The venue looked beautiful and we had a truly magical wedding day. Thank you to all involved. We would give 6 stars if we could. Many thanks.

Great venue for a wedding or celebration party 🎉

We attended here for a wake following a family funeral. The staff were very welcoming the food was very good. Served as an afternoon tea, with finger sandwiches and scones etc. It made for a lovely afternoon under the circumstances with family and friends. We did however struggle to find our way around, initially ended up in the wrong place and then couldn’t find reception. Better sign posting would be good.

I delivered a training session here for a client. It was booked by the client do I cannot comment on that side. However, staff are very attentive and ask in advance for break times etc to arrange refreshments etc. Extremely helpful and professional throughout. Nice venue for meetings/sessions/delivery etc. I jist cannot comment on prices etc.

Field Place were amazing from start to finish and we couldn't be more grateful for the beautiful and well organised wedding day that we had. From the initial wedding fair we attended right up until our dream wedding day, the communication, attention to detail and support for both my husband and I was more than we could have hoped for. We fell in love with the venue as soon as we saw it and knew it was the one we wanted to hold our special day at. Amanda has been the most supportive and dedicated person throughout our wedding planning journey and with the many date changes she has always been at the end of the phone or via email to support us through everything. Our wedding day was the most special day of our lives and our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. From getting ready, to the ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening reception everything ran so smoothly and its all thanks to the amazing staff at Field Place. Absolutely beautiful wedding venue which is booked for me and my fiance next year. Have been there 4 times now and it gets more each beautiful each time. Go visit and see for yourself and you won't be disappointed.

Visit was for wedding reception, lovely venue, with service outside due to perfect weather. Certainly worth a look, lovely setting and well kept grounds, picture perfect.

We went to a wedding here. Everything ran smoothly. Bride and groom were very happy how it all went. Food was delicious and plenty of it. Drinks were a little pricey but heyho!! Would recommend the setting if someone was looking.

What an amazing venue. Beautiful barn with the most incredible chandeliers! Lovely grounds although unfortunately it was cold and wet and dark for most of the time we were there. My 50th birthday party was organised for me here. The staff were so welcoming, thanks Mark and Amanda (sadly unable to be there on the night). Food was fantastic. I’d asked for vegetarian buffet, and even the most stoic carnivores were impressed. Thanks Dean and the team from Harding’s. Everyone enjoyed the magic mirror and the photos it produced. WOW, where do we even start!? we viewed a few venues for our wedding before stumbling across Field Place and booking online with Amanda for a show around. First impressions were amazing, Amanda is incredibly welcoming, shows you around, gives you copious amounts of advice with absolutely no pressure to book. She reserved our date in the diary and we booked the very next day for the wisteria package! From there on, nothing was too much, I'm pretty sure I turned into bridezilla but nothing was too much for Amanda, she returned our emails within a day answering all my questions and checked in with me regularly to see how we were getting on. Eloise then came into the scene and our emails were answered within hours. Amanda and Eloise are definitely the dream team! Customer service is definitely exceeded with these two. We are not local to Worthing so when it came to things outside of the package we relied on them for local knowledge for hotels, taxis, restaurants and our amazing DJ, we went with everything they recommended and nothing was a disappointment. They both took our vision and made it a reality, giving us the most amazing and magical day together. The food by Hardings was phenomenal, we had children and vegans within our wedding breakfast and every person was catered for with no qualms.The bar staff were lovely and very quick with serving. We have had nothing but compliments about our day. Our whole day ran smoothly and on time and this is no doubt down to how well Field Place run things. Thank you to you all for absolutely everything you have done for us.

It was a charity pamper event evening spent getting a taster sports massage, there were other activities taking place all indoors, on my way out I took some beautiful photos.

Took the kids yesterday to see Santa. £15 and not an overly festive experience at all, felt more like a location looking to quickly capitalise on the festive period. Wouldn’t go again. Elf was a 6ft brunette, santa was a bit gangster, what the kids made wasn’t overly inspiring, the place wasn’t made to feel Christmassy. Upside was plenty of parking as people that had been before hadn’t gone again I guess.

Lovely setting for a wedding or party or event. Grounds have been all done up beautifully making great area for photos and lots of parking. The barn is lovely inside but you would only visit for an event or to play tennis in summer or table tennis or bowls other times. Some other classes held here too. The craft fairs here are very good.

Beautiful place for my sons wedding

I rate this place one star only because although looks a very nice venue of an evening when dark early, I mean dark, nowhere near sufficient lighting to see where you're going, stepping, parking. Black bollards with reflectors but not enough light to be effective. There are ample places for more effective low level lighting if only they would do so. As a result of my first visit, not knowing where to go, I accidentally reversed into a black bollard, totally impossible to see. Except for one young member of staff who was helpful, the person I spoke to the next day to go through the incident & suggesting more lights were needed, he couldn't have cared less, wasn't interested at all. On that basis I'll never go again or recommend the place.

Went for the winter wonderland event last year and found it thoroughly disappointing. The event was meant to be aimed at children up to 14 years yet it was only really for toddlers. There were about 5 stalls in total which weren't set up in a way accessible for everyone to interact with. And definitely not worth the price that we paid.

We recently got married with field place and can honestly say we couldn't have choose a better venue. From our first visit with Amanda we knew it was the one she was so welcoming and from that day untill the day of our wedding we had regular contact and visits no question was ever to much she was always happy to help. On the day of our wedding as soon as we arrived everything ran like clockwork it was so calm and flowing we didn't have to worry about a thing we had a lovely three course wedding breakfast with Harding's and have had nothing but possible feedback all the staff done a fab job and we couldn't have had a better day certainly one we will remember for the rest of our lives! Visited for a mind and body fiesta run by southdowns leisure. Venue was great, easily signposted and everything disabled friendly. The event was disappointing as only 3 on both my classes, but enjoyed the two taster sessions and have already booked a session.

Attended the above held in various rooms at Field Place House and Barns. A very organised event, felt welcome from the time I arrived. Offered coffee or tea on arrival by an extremely friendly staff member, he set the tone for the rest of the day. Both the meditation and mindfulness that I attended were hosted by two good professionals, the room was spacious and airy and well presented. The gardens were a joy to walk around - even in the rain! Ample parking and would imagine that this is a beautiful venue to hold a wedding or any special occasion.

My wife and I had our entire wedding day at Field Place. From the first visitation to the day itself, Amanda and the team were first rate at everything, contact was frequent, clear, concise and always fast in reply. No question too silly and was always available whenever we needed to ask or check anything before the day. Everything was orchestrated and organised perfectly and expertly, the food, locations all amazing and the amount of excellent feedback from our guests had been constant. We couldn’t recommend Field Place highly enough nor could we thank them any more for putting us at ease on clearly the most nerve wracking of days. If you are in the processes of looking for a location, please look no further than Field Place. You won’t regret it.

Very picturesque place, although they could do with a wider choice of beverages. It was very cold but they provided guests with blankets which I thought was a nice touch.

It's a beautiful building, lots of separate rooms, I saw at least 3 different groups there when I visited. Toilet facilities are very nice and modern, there is a separate disabled access toilet but it was out of use at the time of my visit. People can get married there and it is a gorgeous setting. I think it is also available for parties. Lots of parking right outside and easy to find.

Bad service not worth the money look for somewhere else

We went to a work course here, but what we saw would definitely make a wonderful wedding or party/occasion venue. The buildings and outside were very well decorated, the grounds very well cared for, and to be greeted by the gorgeous assistant manager Andy an added bonus!

Wow. Stunningly beautiful. Good food, great venue, beautiful grounds, and all hidden away where you never thought it could be down a little side road off a town centre. Could not have wished for a better wedding venue.

We recently held our reception venue in the two barns at Field Place. The barns are situated within newly landscaped Gardens which make for amazing photograph opportunities on the day. Whilst the venue and it's surroundings are great, the true star of the show is Amanda Millis, the wedding coordinator for Field Place. Amanda is a true professional and consistently demonstrated her years of experience in the wedding industry, providing us with sound advice every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble and Amanda was always available or on hand whenever needed to answer any questions or put our minds at ease. Despite holding a large wedding with many specific requirements the day ran like an absolute dream from the moment we arrived at the reception to the moment we left and we have no doubt that Amanda played a significant part in ensuring everything was on track and all other third parties were where they should be when they were needed. Would highly recommend Field place for both it's outstanding value for money but also for the reassurance you get knowing that your day will run as smooth as can be. Eleanor & Mike x
