Great menu and beautifully crafted food with a clearly very talented chef behind the scenes A tastefully decorate cozy and inviting restaurant and pleasant service also made for a great evening meal, it does get very busy however so booking in advance is probably a good idea.

Beautiful food and great choice of all different morrocan foods . The chicken tagine was absolutely beautiful full of flavour and so much chicken was very filling . The side salad and garlic bread was beautiful and very tasty . The fresh orange juice was tasty and we also had cheese it was tasty . Would highly recommend giving it a go we went in the week and was able to get a table. We will surely return

We had a lovely meal. The staff were friendly and efficient. The surroundings were comfortable, clean and interesting. We ordered the Mezé (with wine) which was just under £30 for two people. Our food was delicious, plentiful and well priced. The restaurant is having to cope with council works to the footpath immediately outside it’s doors, but it is well worth persevering and taking a slight detour around the Heras fencing. We will be back and would recommend it to others 😊

We found Fez on the off chance as we were walking around in Cleethorpes. My girlfriend went in to book a table for the evening and from the off the staff were wonderful and accommodating. They squeezed us in at our desired time despite being busy that evening. When we arrived the restaurant was buzzing with life and the smells from the kitchen really give the place an authentic feel. We both opted for tagines and were not disappointed - delicious isn’t the word! The food was cooked to perfection and the tastes fragrant but not overpowering. We had a wonderful night and will be back whenever we are in the area again.

Honestly don’t know how this place has got such good reviews! The staff as in the waiters and waitresses was top notch ! Service was amazing and the staff were super friendly!! But the food was soo below average it hurts parting with my hard earned coin. One of my friends had canned tomatoes with bread, i had the mixed brochette with chips - the chips were bob on but the meat was cold and the kofta was like dog meat. There is a mix of cultural experience and from south east asian to Jamaican we all agreed that the food was at max a 4 out of 10! I hate this review to reflect on the staff as the staff bent over backwards to make us feel welcome and at home! But i will never come back to this place again and would advise anyone i know to steer clear. The mints at the end was the best scran they served all night!

Just amazing, we’ve been before and tonight’s meal just blew us away again. The atmosphere is lively and brilliant for a Saturday eve vibe. Great Place , brilliant Staff with good knowledge of their food and flavours. Very helpful server if you’re not familiar with the food. Meatball all home cooked. That was a star dish . But the presentation and taste was amazing . Flavouring in every dish is just surprising phenomenal. Many choices available from Vegetarian to lamb , chicken or prawns . Going to visit again if I’m back in town . I would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the city .

Thirteen of us went to Fez last night for a celebration meal and we had a fabulous time. The food on every plate was amazing, it was so flavoursome, perfectly cooked and utterly delicious. The service was exemplary, we were made so welcome and the friendly staff were attentive but not overbearing. It was excellent value for money too. We would definitely recommend Fez, and look forward to returning very soon.

My wife and I paid Fez another visit for tea , it never fails on its excellence. Great food, reasonably priced, staff are all friendly, welcoming, and professional. Nothing is too much trouble. Can not wait for our next visit.

Fez welcomed us in just before closing time on a thursday night, there were 9 of us but they service was amazing and the staff were so friendly, considering how late it was food came quickly and was amazing, sl thankful for yhe staff, was incredible

We've eaten here several times and always had good food. The Lamb Tagine is very tasty. This time the staff were very efficient from arrival until the main course was delivered but then didn't come back. After receiving no service we skipped dessert and drinks. I paid at the bar and we grabbed drinks elsewhere. I really hope that this was an off night, our bill was about £30 less than normal, but the time at the table was similar.

Lovely restaurant, nice decor and had a good vibe. Great staff and excellent food. We went straight for a main course and a nice bottle of wine. The lamb tagine was tasty, hot had plenty of meat in it and was very tender. OH had the kofta tagine and was very happy with his choice. Brilliant restaurant and would definitely return if in Cleethorpes again 😀

Fab service & fab food! Visited here twice now (why not sooner I do not know) and both times have had a great experience. From walking through the door we felt welcomed! Staff a true credit and the food absolutely perfect. I would say the best place in Cleethorpes & Grimsby to eat! Well done guys! See you soon

Absolutely must visit in Cleethorpes. I've had nothing but cracking experiences here with my family. Amazing food for those wishing to be more adventurous but also for those wishing to play it safe. I had the Chicken Tagine and my wife loves the Pil Pil Tagine. Would argue they do the best garlic bread within a 100 mile radius too.

First time we’ve visited & WOW! Fantastic restaurant, great service & the food was some of the best I’ve eaten! A range of dishes ordered from chicken, halloumi, koftas & pasta not forgetting the homemade chips which were delicious! The food is plentiful & the price is fantastic. Friendly staff & good service nothing to not like about this place… clear 10/10 for me… thank you team Fez we will be back 😉

Visited this restaurant 3 times now and enjoyed every visit, came tonight for my birthday meal and bought my parents and they really enjoyed it too , everything is cooked fresh and very tasty , very reasonably priced . Definitely be back again

We have been to Fez a few times so decided to book my mums birthday here. On booking the reservation the staff were friendly and helpful and made sure we got everyone’s order right on the night. The food was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. My mum had a great night and everyone raved about the atmosphere and food. Would highly recommend for any celebration or just a night out!

Been here with a friend before and really enjoyed it , so when my partner suggested here for a date night I of course said YES!! Fantastic service, amazing choice with reasonably priced sides (don't tend to get thar these days). We both shared a garlic bread for starter amd had brochettes for mains with a bottle of wine. Will definitely be back, such a lovely and unique treasure.

First time at Fez and we were delighted. 4 of us each had different meals, all cooked lovely. We had a new young waiter who was unsure of somethings but he went off to check to make sure he got things right, always with a smile. Delightful young addition to the front of house team. Well done to everyone. Restaurant was packed which makes great ambience. We will be back as we travelled 35 miles specifically to dine there. Thank you.

Visited here whilst on holiday in the area. When we first arrived, there was only us and another couple, so the room felt cold until it filled up a bit. Our waiter could not do enough for us and was very attentive, and despite getting really busy, took the time to take photos of us. The drinks and food was delicious. The lamb just melted in your mouth and there was plenty to eat. We were full just from the main, so we didn't try the starters or desserts. Well recommended.

Food was really good - especially the tagines. Avoid the virgin mojito - it was just lime & soda with some (not that fresh!) mint leaves in it.

We came her last night for my Dad’s birthday and all I can say is wow. Our original booking was elsewhere but having experienced rude service there I convinced everyone to come here instead. It was about half 8 when we arrived and although they admitted it was quite late they were still more than happy to seat us and feed us! All of the food was gorgeous, homemade chips were crispy but not greasy at all, the chicken tagine was piping hot and really tasty, and the brochettes were lovely too. Really can’t fault this place - excellent food and excellent service. Thank you Fez!

Chicken Starter was nice but both the chicken and lamb brochetta were overcooked. Lamb was well well done - very tough in places. Don't think it's that difficult to make the lamb pink

Food was hot when it arrived, and when we ordered my partner wanted to ask questions about the dishes , staff were only too pleased to help her and very knowledgeable about the menu. Lovely clean environment inside added to the pleasure of dining at Fez. We will definitely be going back.

Lovely restaurant and lovely decor. Food was amazing apart from some of the meats in our groups meals was a bit dry. I had lamb tagine and it melted in the mouth 😋. My only negative is it was way too hot in there and would benefit from some kinda of air con or fans 🥵. Other than that a great experience had by all and will definitely be returning 😊

I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. I had the mixed brochette which was a huge portion. The chips lovely. Salad fresh. Chicken and lamb good. The kofta although big were really quite dry. My critisism is charging 80p for additional sauce. The small pot of harissa was insufficient for the portion. Especially given the dry kofta. Indeed the mint sauce was just that... colmans? To make the experience better I'd suggest larger portion of dip and / or a homemade mint yoghurt type dressing. £18 is enough to warrant additional sauce at no extra cost surely

Unplanned trip away, and stumbled upon this awesome, authentic,friendly ,family run restaurant. Food was out of this world, staff was welcoming and friendly. All the food was beautifully cooked and even got treated to traditional Moroccan tea and baklava after. I can't recommend this place enough, was a brilliant evening.

Pick your time to visit, as it gets very busy here. Not a bad thing, as the food was interesting and tasty. Little improvements here and there will elevate this restaurant to a worthy place to revisit.

Really delicious food and service well worth its money

Tonight I came to fez with my two sons. I must complain about my chocolate pancakes with chocolate sauce with chocolate icecream. I was so disappointed cause it sounded sooo nice. But COLD pancakes NO. I could not eat them. A shame because everything else was perfect. I did say to the waitress, “I have never had COLD pancakes my dessert was horrible. Disappointed “. Waitress just mumbled and walked away. £4.50 Wasted.

I love Moroccan food so went there were two work colleagues. We ordered our food and waited... and waited... while other tables were getting served. Finally the waitress came across and confessed that they had somehow 'lost' our order and took it again and offered a complimentary drink. When the food came, I had the brochette / mixed kebab. It was 'ok' although the meat was overcooked and the cous cous lacked flavour in my opinion. I will probably go again but not order the same dish.

We came here rather late, but the staff were more than happy to help us. The starter and main were absolutely gorgeous, (never had morrocon food before) would definitely come here again. Food was very good value for money. Staff were very polite and happy to answer any questions, the restaurant was very clean, looked very in theme with the morrocon decor. Oh and try the Fez cocktail, it's amazing.

5 ladies visited the restaurant for a mid week birthday meal ..the food was absolutely amazing we all ordered tagines arrived boiling hot cooked to perfection and a really good portion size . Nothing was to much trouble fantastic service and such reasonably priced for both food and alcohol..highly recommend ⭐️

Literally just finished eating here, group of 4. 2 lamb tangine with cous cous, 1 chicken tangine with Mediterranean salad and a Moroccan paella. The staff were very friendly, the service spot on and the food exceptional and very flavoursome. Highly recommended to locals and visitors alike.
