The place is in new hands and expansion plans are afoot as only a few tables and some window bar stools are available at present. Reading material is available if you are solo. A good selection of food on the board and plenty to choose to take away with hampers also available for a wider selection. I had a ploughman's that was ok but a little light on the bread and other items to make it top notch. A great wee place that provides an important service for locals and visitors who have little choice locally.

Stopped for a light lunch en route to somewhere else. Food good, service just right. Just perfect if you want that personal touch. Only seats 6-8 people so you need to be lucky. If no seats buy a picnic!

Have popped into Fenwick Foods multiple times now for convenience or on behalf of my mum. Service really REALLY lets this lovely little store down. A smile and a bit of friendly chat goes a looong way, but is sadly non-existent. Instead you feel like a bit of an inconvenience and as though you have just disturbed something important, even though any time I've popped in I've been the only customer in there. Staff appear quite moody actually. Obviously they make enough profit that the finer things aren't needed. Usually it's just cakes I buy, but purchased sandwiches a couple of weeks ago and was not impressed. The bread was obviously stale and hard around the edges, not a scrap of salad, very plain and tasteless. Nearly 3 quid for a bit of tuna mayo spread onto some stale bread, and not a crack of a smile, isn't worth the bother of returning for me. There are lots of lovely food items on display, such as homemade chilli jam, and other things that would be nice for gifts, but they are undeserving of anymore custom with that sort of service. You don't feel like hanging around for a roam anyway. The cakes are lovely, but I'm pretty certain they are ordered in. It's a real shame, because this place could be an absolute gem and a favourite for a lot of people, considering there is no local competitor. I must also add that I have yet to observe someone washing their hands before they prepare my food...

Visited this place for the third time over the last year or so, simply because it's on the doorstep of a nursing home that I visit. The welcome, once again, was almost non existent ( pretty bad considering I was the only customer in the place ) . The man behind the counter obviously wanted to spend more time reading his daily paper than making any sort of conversation with me, and didn't even ask if I had enjoyed my scone and coffee. I would have been tempted to buy some of the produce on display, but I decided that I would rather spend my hard earned cash elsewhere where the owner showed some appreciation and interest in their customer. I'm afraid that I won't be back. It's a great pity as its a nice wee tearoom . I will walk the ten minutes to The Fenwick Hotel where I may be shown some better hospitality.

This is the finest delicatessen for eating in and for buying from. The ploughmans sharing plate is like no other ploughmans I've ever had. Choice of fabulous cheeses, oat cakes, bread, chilli jam and chutney. Great for gifts too, unusual foods for example. I've bought a few cheese slates, made up to order, to take as gifts when going to friends for dinner. They've been so popular that those friends have gone in to buy. 10/10.

Tucked away beyond the Fenwick Moors is the finest Deli/Coffee Shop you will find in the whole of Ayrshire. The reason being is that it is just so unique with the Edwardian red brick building once home to a thriving rural horse & cart haulage company has now evolved into a popular put-stop for travellers in car & bicycles. Your visit will entail sampling the very best of local produce from dairy to jams, chutney and baking. On a sunny day you can even sit outside & enjoy the delights of old Fenwick village....a must visit.

A great wee 'hidden gem' located in Fenwick - just off the busy M77. On searching for a nice quiet place to have a coffee one afternoon we came across this wonderful wee 'Deli'. It is cosy inside with limited seating, but the baking and refreshments are of the highest home made quality. The surroundings on the walls included paintings for sale by local artists and shelves with many wonderful cakes, fruit loaves, relishes, chutneys and sauces + much more. The vast menu for 'eat in' or 'take out' food is something that needs tasting and many visits to exhaust the choices, and the wholesome friendly atmosphere was made possible by our knowledgeable and attentive host. Without doubt well worth a visit - or three.... We will be back - soon.

In the village of Fenwick this "deli" has a great range of unusual food. Free range eggs, fresh bread and a small but comfortable area fo a coffee and a real scone. Well worth a stop if travelling on the M77.

Stopped off here a couple of times now - great food, sound sandwiches, smashing coffee. Great pit stop for cyclists. I think it is a converted stables, and there are original iron horse tethers to lock your bike to. Snug inside though.
