Felinwynt Cafe and Playbarn in Ceredigion

Always love coming to felinwynt play barn, it's exceptionally well kept and clean. Lots of fun had by the kids and the food and drinks really are great, my only complaint would be the wait time from ordering to receiving but it's worth the wait for sure.

Lovely soft play and very reasonably priced. Our 5 year old had a great time. It’s the perfect size for her as larger soft play centres have left her overwhelmed. Staff very friendly. We also enjoyed the coffee. Cakes looked lovely too so hopefully try them next time

Whilst this is advertised as a play barn and it certainly lives up to this name by having an excellent indoor play area for small children plus an outside play area too - I would highly recommend this for all ages. The cafe sells the most amazing, delicious and cost effective food and drink. There is plenty of inside and outside seating to cater for every weather. The couple running the place couldn't do enough for us and our dog, bless them. We went on a Friday afternoon and considering the quality of the place, we couldn't understand why it wasn't busier, unless the playbarn puts off those without children. This is a hidden gem.

We've visited this play barn half a dozen times now, when visiting relatives who live nearby. Friendly staff, good food and drink, and the play equipment is well looked after and very clean.

Excellent venue for little kids. Owners always happy to help. Great for kids parties, good food in the cafe which is open to anyone.

Lovely little playbarn in... the back of beyond! It's not huge so make sure to book a table during school holidays as it fills up quickly. It's small enough so that you don't have to worry about letting little ones go off to play and losing them but there's still plenty for them to do for a couple of hours. The food is basic but tasty and reasonably priced. The views of the sea from the dining area are amazing. All round its a nice little place and the staff are happy and friendly.

Really lovely softplay centre, big enough to entertain kids for a good couple of hours but small enough for you to enjoy a coffee without worrying you’ll lose sight of them. Coffee delicious, best I’ve had in a centre like this.

Fab space and owners are great too.

Took my son a couple of weeks back now, staff are very friendly, food was lovely and it was a good price for my son to have a play around. The only down thing I would say, some of the children were playing to ruff and there was kids younger than them so had to go in and play with my son to make sure he didn't fall over....

Dropped in on the offchance we could satisfy a 3yr old his softplay fix. Glad we did. Excellent area, clean and well laid out. By the looks of it, the cafe is excellent too. Friendly owners as well, which makes all the difference.

Spent a couple of hours with my two children today. Lovely little place with excellent food. Immaculately clean. Thanks for providing a much needed facility.

Well, what a wonderful 3rd birthday party for our grandson ELYAN! He and more than 20 friends had a brilliant time in soft play followed by a birthday tea which was part of the package. The food was EXECELLENT and there was plenty of it... the children tucked in and managed to eat most of it... more than enough for all! The sound of HAPPY CHILDREN and CHATTING PARENTS lifted our sprits on this weather-beaten Halloween Sunday! The wind claimed a few balloons, the rain teamed down but the Playbarn was the perfect place to have a party on this very stormy weekend. A GREAT VENUE... many thanks to the owners and staff who helped make this a very memorable occasion! PS... coffees and hot chocolates enjoyed by the parents were lovely too!

Lovely little cafe with soft play for the kids. Sea view. We stopped for tea and toast and a doggy icecream. Staff very friendly. Outdoor seating and parking. Clean too. Would go again.

Very disappointed. We wanted to book my daughters birthday party here and asked if we could bring our own food as she has coeliac disease and can’t eat gluten. They refused to let us bring our own food and also refused to provide gluten free party food. As locals who have supported this small business over a number of years, we are extremely upset and saddened for our soon to be 4 year old.

Tried to book a birthday party for my daughter who has coeliac disease so has to eat gluten free. I was told we couldn’t bring our own food and then they said they wouldn’t provide gluten free food either. Not sure how they cope with other food allergies etc but for us this means we aren’t welcome. Very disappointed for my little girl, especially as we are locals and have supported this place over the years. Won’t be going again unless they change their attitude to coeliac disease, it’s not a choice! I have noticed that they do provide dog icecream though!!! 🙄

Our first visit to the play barn and it was great fun. A lovely size play area for a 1.5yr old to explore. Fantastic setting with lovely food on offer. Clean and bright, we can’t wait to visit again!

We visit mostly at the weekend with my elderly family the service is friendly and very helpful to our needs the food is cooked fresh and properly displayed with clean cutlery etc

Went for a birthday party, the place is bright and well presented. Its nice what they have done with a small space, its well equipped without being cramped. The staff are friendly and polite

This place is obviously designed for families with young children who can use the play area. However, we found it a great place for a good value snack early afternoon on a school day. We had teacakes, cake an a pot of tea. Excellent and very good value. As we were the only people and it was a nice day, we enjoyed sitting outside. Inside is less inviting - typical furnishings of a child aimed attraction's cafe; and all the windows are frosted so there is no view out, which is a shame in such a beautiful area.

Such a lovely little soft play centre. We visited twice within a week (due to the weather) while staying in the area, it was our first experience of soft play post lockdown and couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. Numbers were limited, it seemed very clean, service was excellent. We had food which was delicious (and a bargain as we were there during the EST Out to Help Out scheme). Would highly recommend for little ones (mine are aged 5 and 1 and both loved it).

Very clean and tidy. Taking COVID regs. seriously without being to invasive. Finest coffees in Ceredigion some say the UK. Food looked amazing with good value for money. Friendly staff with ample parking and inside and outside seating. Small toys and bits on offer. Cafe offers wide range of hot and cold foods and beverages. Smooties looked amazing too. Very well ran establishment. Thoroughly recommend to anyone

Safe on site parking, friendly and inviting staff, very clean and tidy, great soft play area that is safe, with plenty of room for the kids to let off steam, and the food was great too!

We had such a wonderful time at this place. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for us! The food was absolutely delicious and the whole place (cafe, soft play, toilets) we're immaculately clean. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be visiting again!

Great place for the kids and the staff are soo friendly!

I recently had a birthday party in the playbarn for my 4 year old, the play area is fantastic andtail all the children enjoyed and the other facilities were imaculate however when you book the party you can look at what packages they offer for each child I opted for a blue package that was like buffet food - sandwiches, sausage rolls, crisps, cakes, fruit platter which I expected a good amount as we had 17 children to feed, but I really did not want to be dissapointed but I was because the amount of food that was on the table was pretty much nothing.. a bowl of like 6 cocktail sasuages cut up to gop between 17 children, some children did not even get a sandwich as their was not enough so I had to ask for more, the bowls on the table were really tiny bowls with 2 or 3 sausage rolls in, not all children got any crisps it one bag of teddy bear crisps between all these children who had been running around for an hour and a half and were starving and there was pretty much nothing avaialble, the fruit platter, well that was another story because all i saw waas cut up grapes in even smaller bowls, I was so dissapointed because it cost me £6.75 for any child 4+ or £4.50 for under 4. I was told that I would only pay for the children who come and unfortunetly I was told different when I was there and had to pay for the amount of children i stated when I booked. for the amount of money the food deffinetly was not worth it! I could not believe how much the food on the menu is either Very overpriced for what you get. I would use it again but I would opt for a different package where you can have hot food given to a child so surley they would get a decent amount each but again for more money. shame as the place is beautiful but just need to stop being tight on the food for children expecially when some children didnt even get a sandwich and I had to ask for more. However staff are friendly and helpful.

We just happened across this place whilst just meandering along the coastal back roads north of Cardigan. There is easy parking here unlike the very cramped coastal cove villages. I asked for an adaptation to one of the menu items and the very friendly staff accommodated my wishes with no fuss. The main cafe seating area is all surrounded by frosted glass which is a bit strange; maybe a product of it previously being a butterfly farm so I believe. It was a bit stuffy in the sunshine, so could do with better ventilation eg some of those ceiling fans. Otherwise recommended. Since been there again and noticed the frosted glass windows do actually open. Also, although the food is simple, our party (a mixture of omnivores and vegetarians) unnamouslly agreed, it was very tasty. Please LIKE if you found this review helpful, thank-you.

Food and drink lovely but very expensive. Was only in there for 1 and a half hours and had 1 tea 1 coffee 1 can of coke 1 bottle of water 2 packs of crisps and entry for two young children and it cost me nearly 20 pounds. Staff friendly and lovely place clean and tidy. Just find the food expensive that's all and we didn't even have food as such. Will go back again. Kids loved it x

Great little soft play. Food was fine as was the coffee. The only thing stopping a 5 star rating is the service/organisation don't get me wrong the staff were lovely but seriously what are they thinking with their system for getting food and drink out? Got coffee brought to the table then 10-15mins later food. Later decided to have coffee and cake after. Got given the cake over the counter. 20mins later went to the counter to find out where the coffee was as we wanted to leave (the cake was long gone!). They had just got to that ticket. Table numbers were hard to see and staff seemed to spend a long time wandering around with food or drinks trying to find the right table. Just needs a bit better organisation.

We went with my toddler son for a birthday party. I was very impressed with the whole facility, especially compared to other softplays I've been to. The whole place was spotless, which is not easy with for any business that deals with large numbers of children. The staff were nice and the party went off with out a hitch. We'll be coming back in future.

The play barn is great for kids .....and unless its very busy a nice safe environment for children to play. It is quite small and gets noisy when full as you would expect. Snack bar which serves meals at reasonable prices.....parking outside available.

I’d seen an ad for this Playbarn and I favoured going to this one rather than another similar place in Cardigan. It was a great find. The main plus points were: great warm and helpful staff, good solid food, and more than adequate play area for our five year old. Add to that reasonable prices, a selection of books to read/purchase for charity, and a high level of hygiene. I’d recommend this place to any families who require a play area in the county of Ceredigion.

Well run place with nice play area that kept a 4 and 7 year old entertained. Immaculately clean in every respect and good value. Lovely people working there.

Well maintained, clean, friendly cafe. Good value tea/coffee and large, very tasty bacon roll. Ideal stopping place on way to Mwnt. Playbarn for toddlers/kids. Immaculate toilets. Good parking.

We visited this cafe man times over the summer. Always a warm welcome, a great cuppa and yummy cakes. My son still raves about the lemon meringue!

Stopped here whilst out on a bike ride. There was already a bike in the rack & two more dropped in whilst we were there. The choice of food & drinks was good - living not too far away & cycling a lot, I'm pretty au fait with the local cafes, coffee & cake!! The bacon & Brie panini was rather nice - a better choice than the b & B baguette a friend had. The service wasn't the quickest - there we're many (any) other customers there when we arrived. Worth a stop if you are in the area.
