Great place, great food. Service is slightly slow but overall I would eat there again with family.

Absolutely enjoyed the food. Serving portion is good too. My second time and I wasn't disappointed.

I really enjoyed my meal during Iftar, the service was on point and the food was sooo good. I ordered a garlic bread with mozzarella but didn't expect it to be the size of a pizza 😂😂 either way was soooo tasty and so was my main being a sirloin steak. Will be there in the future.

Can’t understand any review less than 5* in our opinion! We are very picky eaters in our family and only like the best food, I also have my own food business so understand how difficult it is to keep everyone happy. Everytime we go in for food and this has been over 20 times I would say the food has been 10/10. The staff are so friendly every single staff member greets us everytime as we walk to the table, they can’t do enough for the kids. We absolutely love it here guys keep it up!

I recently went here with a friend based on the images on this site. The chips are your generic Wetherspoons flat ones, the burger was nice but nowhere near as good as others available locally. The Oreo milkshake was 70% of the ones pictured here (no donut or Oreo on it etc. The sizzler comes as-is so you need to add the right sides.

This is our No1 food place in Notts. We have been going here after stumbling on it back in 2017. The staff are the best around and always make us feel welcome, food is amazing, try the combo or calzone there my recomendations ( but all the food is great). Ladt night we had the birthday waffle for pudding and again it was fab. See you all at farro's very soon

Had a single girls nite out/get together, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. For some of my friends, it was their first time dining at Farros. The company was great. Service was great, and the food just topped everything off perfectly. It was full of flavour, very well seasoned and cooked just enough. My friends spoke very highly of our night at Farros on the whole an excellent night. Thank you Farros you never fail to disappoint.

The best quality food for a very amazing fair price! I had the steak filet and it was the best beef I ever ate. My friend ate the chicken sizzler and it was an excellent dish, full of flavour without being overly spicy. A great atmosphere and lovely restaurant where you can see the chef's cooking. Thank you for such a great dinner 🍽 😁

Please do not use Farros restaurant. They use students on 4 hour trial shifts then don’t pay them. The manager just says “we don’t have to pay for trial shifts, think of it as an interview and you don’t get paid for interviews “ They have no morals and abusing the desperation of young struggling kids. Please do not add to their greedy wealth.

Food was amazing!!! The steak was cooked to perfection and the salmon off the starter menu was so tasty! The strawberry cheese cake is the best cheese cake I've ever had!!

No exaggeration when I say that this is the best dinner I’ve had in a WHILE. The food was incredible, proper rustic menu with good hearty food, everything was a 10/10, the steaks were top quality and the pastas particularly were a favourite of ours. The service was incredible, everyone was so kind and helpful which was so lovely to see as our party was quite large and our order was very detailed! On top of that the food came out so quickly I was so impressed. We celebrated my cousins birthday here and the staff were so accommodating to our requests, they played music for us and gave us a candle on top of a birthday waffle cake that was just HEAVENLY. I’ve been here many times but this is my first time going in 3 years, sometimes with restaurants you feel like the quality goes down over time but I was so impressed to see that Farros has improved its already great reputation and overall it was just an amazing experience!

Farro's is a famous steakhouse/grill in Nottingham. We had ordered delivery from Farro's many times prior to our visit. Their food always is delicious especially Pasta and Shakes but Steaks are something you can fully enjoy at the table, so we planned a lunch to try their steaks. Farro's is quite centrally located and easy to find. On arriving, we were seated by a young girl. She looked quite tired and didn't render any greeting. We knew the menu from home delivery experience already. They have advance payment till system. We advanced to the till to order Rib eye with Mash and Lamb steak with Corn on the Cob. Two drinks to go with the order, have to mention here they provide DIY bottomless drinks at the steakhouse. Pricing is quite generous. The order arrived early, again with a very plain attitude from the serving staff. We proceeded to eat. Both the beef steak and lamb steaks tasted yummy, nothing extraordinary . While we were digging in, the manager came around. No greetings or feedback requested, rather he headed straight to next table spending 15 minutes chatting with them about their order. They might be regular customers/friends, still not a satisfying gesture to ignore all other dining guests totally. We shelved off plans for our sweet craving and left. My personal reflection; this place needs a massive improvement in customer dealing and communication skills.

The quality has dropped by a HUGE margin and it was really expensive for what we got. We ordered some steak and it was really chewy and hard to eat. And the food was cold when it came to our table.

Following the review, gave it a try. Was looking forward to the lamb chops as reviewed but this was only available as a starter. So we had lamb chops, calamari and olives. Didn't bother with any mains. The lamb was tasteful but over cooked, the calamari didn't taste like real calamari but more of a processed type. Best dish out of these was the olives and sun-dried tomatoes, I mean you can't go wrong. Been there, dine that, won't be going back.

This was an impromptu evening meal and what a treat. Excellent quality food, really tasty with hot chillies, far superior to any chain restaurant plus a great price and friendly service. Our hungry son was beaten by the calzone. Recommended.

The steak was rubbery, tasteless and overpriced. The pizza was quite literally a Tesco pizza but with toppings like chicken and pepper. The peri peri chicken was cold and did not taste good. The service was ok but not the best.

Found this place via Google, and it didn't disappoint. the food ordered was on point. The steak was really nice, and the chicken sizzler. Nice welcoming staff and nice atmosphere insidr. Some advise cutlery is self service, bit strange that, and you have to order away from the table and pay first.

I ordered a burger and received the wrong burger. Nobody came to inform us. It was when I went to ask, they apologised. That's all and I got my original meal, even though it tasted cold and not normal. Very saddening experience! Imagine if I had a severe allergy, it could have caused a death!!!

This grill house deserves 5-stars! we’re really impressed with the sea bass combo and Asian beef burger. The portion is huge and they have abundant sauces, gravy and sides. Good value for money. Probably one of the best burgers we have had in Nottingham. We will definitely come again.

I am really impressed with the quality of service in particular. Excellent range of food at a reasonable price.

The low score is based on the poor communication from the servers - there was no chicken in the building and we waited for over 80mins for our mains to come. I feel we should have been informed and could have ordered something else from the menu. The service was not satisfactory for me on this occasion. My aunty was not impressed and she made her feelings known.

Really surprised me, food was great, full of flavour, hit and tempted to overspend to get more 😆 had 4 mains and some started and shared between 4 of us. Chicken thighs are amazing, as is the Calzone. Shared a steak and it was cooked a s I wanted and juicy, definitely will be back with the family and friends.

Spent quite abit to get the Combo, the steak was cooked as it should've and the sauces (gravy and mushroom) was tasty 😁 I would have to admit the rice served with this, I would give 1/5, it lacked taste but the pasta made up for it. Overall, nice and friendly staff, great seating areas and I left there feeling stuffffffed. A good 4/5 👍🏽

Loved every bit of my experience. The food was fantastic, really friendly and helpful staff who are fully there for u- particularly Usman and the lady manager, and a really lovely atmosphere setting as well. Been wanting to try this place for ages and will deffo be visiting again

The best milkshake in the universe

Another visit recently and they have maintained same standards. Over baked Pizza is the highlight. Found out that they have got their own parking on the backside. _________________________________________ Excellent fresh food. Nice ambience and good service. Slightly on expensive side but worth it. Cosy oven pizza Farro special was superb and so was their grilled chicken. Special thx to one of their staff who took care of my old mother when she had to go to the toilet.

No words can describe the culinary experience to be had at Farro's. Hands down the best Calzone in the UK!!! We spotted Farro's on our way into the city centre to attend an event. So we decided to head there for our evening meal the next day and suffice to say we were not disappointed! The staff are amazingly warm and welcoming, the atmosphere was incredible and the food is out of this world all 4 of our party left feeling satisfied and fulfilled! Are you still reading? Why? Good place for food and spending time

Absolutely disgusted with the service. Every time I go in and order half a chicken. All I get is 2 small piece of chickens. Raised a complaint before and issue was resolved and they apologised. Again today same issue. I understand the restaurant is owned by Muslim owners and u are giving bigger chicken pieces to your brothers and sisters, but other ethnics need to be treated fairly and not given the rejected stock. Really disappointing as this has happened on a number of occasions. Better off at Nando’s

Improponibile l'idea di servire piatti di carne e pesce e non servire alcolici (birra o vino). Dovrebbe quantomeno essere scritto su Google. Tavoli e panche appiccicosi senza neanche una tovaglietta di carta. Le posate, le salse e le bevande (acqua dal rubinetto, coca cola e aranciata) sono a self service.

The place is amazing, food is very nice, lamb chops, half chickens and steak was cooked perfectly definitively recommending, 5 star ⭐ .

What a gem! Such friendly staff, and that isn't just one of them,literally every single person who served us. So so generous with the portion sizes too. Absolute must in my opinion

Low quality, no fresh ingredients with rude staff.

The food is very good. The guys that attended to us were very pleasant, can’t say the same about the team leader. The company has this bizarre policy of asking the customers to get their cutlery, napkins, sauces and water themselves. The place where you get these is not always near your table. I was given a table at the back of the restaurant, there were 10 of us on the table with 5young children. Getting the water was the most annoying part as they don’t even have a jug to make it easier. We had to get water for the children ourselves as they give glass cups and they were steps and uneven flooring along the way coupled with poor lighting so I wouldn’t risk my 3yrs old breaking a glass on his leg in the process. All these screams hazard waiting to happen. This shows a very poor regard to health and safety on the part of the establishment as they do not consider glass breakage in their policy. If your water finishes mid meal (or you forgot to get it at the beginning) you will have to stand up and walk all the way to get it which really messes up with the food as it gets cold before you are back especially as they don’t keep the glass at the water table. You have to ask for it again! Additionally, you can only order at the till. For a restaurant that charges this much, I expect a better service.

I found this place due to the good reviews on Google maps and didn't expect it to be such a good gem. Despite it being a good walk from the city centre I am happy and impressed with both the food quality and price. The inside is surprisingly large extending all the way across with the back showing an aboreteum entrance. For less than £5 you can get bottomless drinks and the appatisers are both a good price and portion. The mains we picked were the sea bass with rice and whole chicken. Both were incredibly fair priced and delicious. For any newcomers, just be aware you are expected to pay first (or at least we were) when you order and your drinks and cutlery are self served.

If you want to eat a good Halal food with the amazing taste , come to Farro’s :)

Food: overly priced for the portion sizes. Fairly unseasoned food taste - neutral. Service: ok customer service, drinks are self services likewise sauces, cutlery etc. Atmosphere: open space, has a barn like feel with beautiful sky views open for sight through the windows. It's a calm relaxing food place, queues aren't too long. Plenty of seating when waiting. During the winter it has a cosy atmosphere.

Second time here and probably the best steak I have eaten. Have tried many big name Halal steakhouses but these guys defo deserve credit. Asked for a medium steak and got a bang on perfectly cooked medium steak. Other places don't know how to cook their steaks but Faros definitely do! Would highly recommend, flavours are on point.

I had a lovely experience here. The meal I had was a decent size and tasted really good. The staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. It was good value for money and I would definatly come back here again and I would recommend. There is a wide selection of food to chose from.

My personal experience of a restaurant obviously is good food and Farros always has met the expectations, but for me is the service that you get, Abdullah met that criteria, very gentle and made sure he was with us regularly asking everything is okay and if he can do for us. Lovely food and great place to have meal for the family. On this occasion found a bone in my lamb grill but the manager gave us free coffee and tea to compensate for that. overall nice night out
