Chilled out lounge, that caters really well for food intolerances. Prices reasonable, service very good, atmosphere,laid back.

Very busy but dog friendly. Design similar to other lounges and food is familiar but forever same-y if you know what I mean? Nice place but when busy, you might have to wait for a table. Ordering and payment can be done via QR code on the table.

Great food, consistantly good quality.Lovely staff.But too dark to read the newspaper if not sat by the window.

First visit to Faro Lounge for Tapas treat, very busy being lunch time,staff very friendly and a lovely atmosphere, hummus,king prawns delicious,salt & pepper squid came slightly over done but waitress exchange for perfectly cooked tasty squid, enjoyed our visit.

Was over visiting from New York ! I was Born in Lichfield .Went to Faro twice food was delicious great atmosphere love the chandeliers actually went home and made them!’ also think I had some of those pictures growing up that we’re on the walls!!

Incredible food, so full of flavour I will definitely be back again in the day & night! Dishes were presented very well, friendliest staff and prices arent too bad at all considering the food is amazing! Mocktails and cocktails were very tasty. The photos I've added were just some appetiser and starters but the main was brilliant aswell. Really good atmosphere, good music playing but not too loud, very enjoyable night and to top it off there is parking right around the corner from it!

First of all, a special mention has to go to our amazing host Amelia. She was so accommodating and made my birthday breakfast very special with some lovely little touches. The food tasted amazing and was presented well. Lovely cosy vibe going on and was dog friendly which was lovely for us as we took along our Cavapoo. Will definitely be going back again to try the lunch menu. Thank you to all the staff at the Faro Lounge, Lichfield.

Only had coffee.. but... it was full and everyone else was enjoying their food.

Tried to get into this place today for lunch. The man at the front very rudely told us to wait by the sign: " Wait here to be seated" sign. He said that there was a queue, there was not a single other person waiting to be seated. His attitude and the way he spoke to us was absolutely dreadful! He then immediately told us there was a free table,( of course there was. There were a few free tables) At this point we decided to go elsewhere for lunch and will never return to this place. Such a shame as it looked so nice! There are many other places to choose in Lichfield, don't choose this one! Interesting to note there are other reviews that have similar complaints.

First visit here, the restaurant was really busy but we were quickly seated at a table. You have to order food at the bar and we thought we maybe in for a long wait but the food came out really quickly and the food was really nice and couldn't fault anything. Staff was really good too, if visiting Lichfield again would certainly return.

There are lots of veggie options, I had tapas it was excellent. We were served quickly and didn't have to wait long for food. I love the cosy decor and comfy seats.

Looking at the menu at the bar. Asked can I help you and as I didn’t answer straight away, sulky bar man with bad attitude walked off and wouldn’t serve us.

Not a place that you could recommend food was very expensive normally I leave a tip but felt this place was over priced rubbish I will not step foot in here again

The atmosphere was great. The staff were very friendly and chatty. The food was absolutely delicious. I would like to give a big shout out to George the chef, he was highly experienced and passionate about the delicious food he cooked and catered for our every need, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for him!! Absolutely the best meal we have had in Lichfield Highly recommend visiting this cool place. 😎

Nice decor, quick service very busy and a lot of dogs but to be fair all but one were well controlled by owners.The one who wasn't was asked by a member of staff to either control the dog or leave ,the person left .,so we'll done to that member of staff.

Such a lovely venue. The hard working staff are extremely polite and engage in friendly conversation with customers whilst delivering exceptional service in a bustling environment. Brunch today was delicious as always. Would highly recommend.

What a quaint place very popular Had to wait for a table not for long! I had the full English good quality produce my brunch buddy had the loaded eggs with Salmon got the thumbs up! Good coffee staff lovely

Absolutely appalling. See my Google review. Nobody there is answering My calls or email. It will be the review about the ganged up bullying and seclusion in a quite innocent and fair matter on my behalf, that can be proved, if they watched their cctv!! If they don't have good management that can even try to be interested in a single complaint, why bother spending your money here.

Good food, great staff, nice ambiance. 2023: has become quite expensive. Still a great place but disappointed at paying £20 for a burger and a pint!

Portions are not large on main meals. Came away hungry. But what we did have was lovely.

Great dog friendly pub, the food is excellent with very attentive and helpful staff, dog bowls were provided and our dog was made very welcome. The tapas was especially good. No Guinness but the Brixton Reliance pale ale was good. Part of the loungers and cosy club chain, they are all dof friendly and consistently good, we've been to a few across the country.

Excellent, must try the bacon baps they ate amazing, Excellent service and staff very friendly, a great place to visit.

Today was my first visit to the faro lounge i can quite easily state that the staff today were all excellent our food was superb and we will on out next trip to lichfield be revisiting. Thank you for todays experience

It's pretty good. There's a kind of snootiness to the place and a hipster "holier than thou" vibe, but the food is good, the coffee is good. And you can take your dog.. which is always a win.

We went for family birthday celebrations. Variety of food to choose from. We ordered Mexican, Malaysian, tapas and burger which are delicious. Nice atmosphere, dog friendly. 100% recommended and will go back there again soon

Couldn't praise Martin any higher, very accommodating, polite and extremely helpful. Took great pride in his work and attention to our dining requirements. Even to my gluten intolerant wife 10/10 would eat here again nom nom 😜

Came here for lunch with a friend I hadn't seen in 30+ years. Small wait for a table, but shown to a table by a gentleman and given menus. He failed to explain that you have to place an order at the bar, although asked if we had any allergies, so we talked for a bit expecting waiter service. We both ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and chips this was £9.50 plus £2.75 for fries. The good came out reasonably quickly. The Philly was supposed to be brisket with onions peppers and cheese. Not much meat in it and oddly it had red kidney beans in it. Whilst not allergic, I'm not keen and noticed that the "brisket chili was also on the menu. All I can think is they must use the same mix for everything. To me it was poor value at £13 for a sandwich and fries. It was very busy so it must be popular, but there are much better cafes with better value in Lichfield

Every time I visit this place prices rise and the portion sizes seem to reduce? I ordered a Bang Bang Chicken and the portion was measily...3 strips of chicken and a pinch of noodles. More like a child's portion. 3 drinks were £18!? Not the case at Flora lounge in Shrewsbury, double the Lichfield portion (same chain). I will not be returning...better value to be had elsewhere.

You don't come to Faro lounge for high cuisine but what you get is excellent. It's very pleasant to enjoy lunch here. The coffee is decent and the food interesting, well prepared and flavoursome. The décor is worth a mention, being an eclectic blizzard of artworks and artefacts, some of which are pretty good. Other than being somewhat slow the friendly service can't be faulted.

Always like this place, super busy but the food is always good and the atmosphere nice. Love that you can take dogs in here and although you can’t book a table, you usually only have to wait a short while to get a space. Wide choice of meals to cater for all and good for brunch, lunch or dinner.

Have been here a few times. Always good friendly service. The best vegetarian breakfast around, and really nice tea too.

I try to go to lounges all round the country as I know they're dog friendly. If I didn't know what other lounges are like, I'd be giving 5 stars for sure. The food is always lovely, but at this one the piece of chicken used in my burger was really small compared to other lounges. I didn't say to anyone because no one asked me how my food was like they usually do in other lounges. Even in plate collection, it was have you finished and the girl was gone, no how was it. I normally feel full after my dinner, but now I need cake lol. Oh and also, all the other lounges I've been to bring a bowl of water for dog over.

Had a lovely meal here a few weeks ago. I would hghly recommend the burgers. The ones we had were delicious!

It was proper busy, my kids were climbing the walls, my niece needed some protein based food, like her Dad, she gets grumpy without it. They delivered not only good service but weren't moody when my kids started singing Frozen.

Delicious food and quick friendly service but very noisy

We went on a wet Sunday afternoon. It was busy but we did get seated straight away, a table for two and our beautiful greyhound. It was a table where he was able to stand and watch what was happening or lie down and not be in the way on his travel bed. Food was delicious and quick considering it was busy, I had tapas selection and my wife a burger. All was demolished. Staff were very friendly. Dog biscuits were available on entrance as well as some welcoming rules for them and some coloring / activity sheets for children. Definitely recommend and go again.

The Lounges are my favourite places ever! This one is particularly great as there are so many dogs in Lichfield, so you're bound to bump into one or two. The vegan menu is getting better and better, and I quite possibly had the best salad ever today, (Vegan Mezze) with a huge piece of vegan garlic bread, whilst I was sat near a very good dog. What a dream.

Staff friendly and helpful. Food lovely and really good with allergies. This is not the case at lots of places but faro lounge were great. Very helpful

Today we were served by Martin, he was nothing short of fantastic. As someone who monitors customer services levels I was very impressed. He was not just friendly but very accommodating to dietary requests and nothing phased him. He had the confidence to clarify my needs and even when my WiFi phone signal was extremely slow to transfer funds to pay, his attitude was exemplary even apologising they only had one card machine working. Love the venue. Highly recommend.

We came because it is a dog friendly place to eat. This was very obvious when we arrived and saw dog treats laid out on a cake stand! The staff were super friendly and totally awesome and loved meeting our pup. Now, the food. It was soooooo good! I ordered a 6oz burger and boy was it stacked! Half way through and I had to switch to a knife and fork to continue the battle. Amazing! I would definitely recommend a visit

Tapas night on a Tuesday is very busy but managed to get a table. Service was very friendly and prompt food came quick and was lovely. Not badly priced either. Highly recommended

Popped in for a quick lunch with my pops.....we visit regularly, as they allow pooches... always a bonus!!! Dad had a panini and I had a fish finger sarnie, both very tasty!!! The food and drinks menu are very extensive, so never short of choice. We love it there - we will be back!!! Xxx

I can not fault the food or service. I have a problem with dogs sitting at the table and licking plates. I have seen this twice in the last couple of months. According to Google even a dishwasher does not kill the salmonella that can transfer from dogs to the plate and then to humans. I really don't want to stop going. If I see it again I will report to the health authority.

Love the cafe and it’s quirky design, wall to wall art, no two chairs or tables match and lighting that looks like it was designed to challenge a really poor do it yourselfer! Service and food are excellent, queueing for a table is mandatory and if you can grab a seat by the window the people watching is excellent. Some greatf foody options in Lichfield and this is right up there with the best.

I always come here yet I had an unhappy experience. They were sold out of a lot of drinks including my favourite, so I wasn’t able to enjoy it. I always order the eggs Benedict with extra hollandaise, however the new waitress told me they now charge for extra sauce which is ridiculous as the meal itself had barely any sauce to begin with. It was really dry and I just didn’t enjoy it one bit. Left without ordering dessert as I didn’t want to be more disappointed. I’ll probably return when I hear that the place has improved, as I’ve seen some bad reviews lately. Such a shame

First time visit for an evening dinner, The chicken was dry, over cooked, and looked like it was days old and warmed up, the slaw looked old as well, stay well clear of this place, i just dont know how they call themselves Chefs.

We always go to faro for family events as it has good options for everyone (vegetarians included) but it seems they’ve gone down hill in service. We called as there were 11 of us but we’re told we couldn’t book but would be no problem. We turned up and when asked how many of us were they pulled a face and said “oh we probably won’t be able to seat that many” and then just left us in the doorway for half an hour before we had to leave. There was a table of 8 and 3 next to eachother but sat the people behind us on the 8 table. We asked the lady with red hair if it was looking possible to seat us at all and she cut us off with “I just want to know if there is anybody else waiting to be seated OTHER than the table of 10” All staff kept talking to eachother about not being able to seat us but just left us there waiting for us to leave. Ended up at brewhouse, who accommodated and was great. Really sad with this because we have always loved faro but won’t bother again

I have always loved this place and took my dog often, I popped in this afternoon for lunch with my baby boy and just a chicken ciabatta (with no sides/extras) cost £10. That's seems a lot to me for lunch, I had hoped for the soup bit this wasn't available today. In future I wouldnt go here for a light lunch as its just too expensive and I can get more for my money in nearby restaurants. Service was great though.
