I attended my cousins 80th birthday party last night (my 3rd party here) i cannot express how amazing the evening was Anne & her staff went above and beyond for us all, and always with a smile! The room was set out lovely, the singers fab, the food WOW amazing, i cannot praise them enough! I have now booked my 70th birthday for June! THANKYOU ANNE

Been here 3 times now. A funeral, My 30th & grandads 80th. The food is amazing! Everyone enjoyed it, there was plenty & The staff are lovely. Will be booking again in the summer 💕

Ann and Kenny are brilliant hosts. They held their 50 wedding anniversary there and my family met up with relatives there a nd it was brilliant.well done the both of you. If anyone wants to celebrate anything there I recommend it.

Niece’s special birthday. The food was amazing. Plenty of it. Anne was fabulous and made sure everyone was happy. The room was decorated to a very high standard and we were all blown away.

Hired the function room on Friday for my partners funeral, the staff were amazing they put a nice buffet on, they were very accommodating for anything that we needed nothing was too much trouble

Lovely looking place if your after somewhere for a function

The beer garden is massive and has a TV outside so can watch any sports that might be showing. The garden is a sun drenched area on sunnier days, so a great way to catch some sun whilst socialising with a bevey 💯🙌. Victoria does some amazing cocktails too, staff all friendly nicely decorated interior and ample space inside as well as outside. Great choice of spirits and draughts. Highly recommend 👌

Busy pub, great atmosphere but not a great food selection

Found the music a bit too loud don't remember posting that review I've had some brilliant times in the farmers hoping to have more when opened up properly me and my hubby tommy love the tribute night hubby was there Saturday and said how the staff look after the customers and how lovely the out said has been done flowers etc x

Came here for a family reunion. The staff were excellent and really looked after us. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely afternoon in the beer garden barmaids worked really hard keeping everyone well supplied with drinks. Had pizza and chips lovely and hot would be nice when things settle down if more food choices could become available.

Staff are very friendly and drinks are relatively cheap. If it had a refurb I'd prob give it 4 or 5 stars as it looks very dated and dirty.

What can I say....done a surprise 80th birthday here for my Nan. Anne and the team were amazing from start to finish. Anne helped ease any stress by taking care of everything for me. This woman knows what she is doing, room decoration/balloons were fabulous and the food was delicious (The scouse comes highly recommended). She thought of everything and everyone really enjoyed themselves, my Nan especially. Even the weather didn't put a downer on it. I would recommend anyone to hire here for their functions. They have a great outside beer garden too so great for bouncy castles for the kids, although due to the weather we couldn't have ours on the day. Thank you so much to Anne and The Team you are all amazing and do a fantastic job!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great family pub with staff and customer are very welcoming. It's good place if just want abit of fun and laugh with family and friends Good drinks and prices., the DJs never fail to entertain the customers and staff as well.

We had my daughter's graduation here Saturday 13th July in the function room from midday until 6pm then we all went into the pub area in the evening and stayed right through until closing time. Ann & the wonderful staff couldn't do enough for us, we all felt really welcome and looked after. Great prices, lovely drinks, huge beer garden and friendly staff. Loved every minute.

If your looking for a place to host your next party then look no further. The room at the back is totally and utterly the best and service from Ann and her staff along with her husband was 5*. Buffet amazing and I cannot thank you enough for everything you done for my mums 50th and I can't wait to have our next party here.

We were in the function room when first entering through the front doors there is a strong smell of urine very off putting and it was only 12 noon

Had my daughters 6th birthday party here. Ann went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect. The room looked absolutely gorgeous.

Classic pub with a real community feel

Bought tickets for mothers day wasn't impressed singers were average food (well let's not mention the smallest roast I've ever seen 😕) no atmosphere with the table settings prefared it another year just standing up in the pub. Left early as we were bored. Usually a good time to be had so was dissapointed on this occasion

Hired out the function room for a wake and can not recommend this venue enough. The staff were lovely and very attentive. The buffet was great value for money and the extra touches of a separate vegetarian/vegan table for some of our guest went down a treat. Thank you to Ann (the general manager) for all your help in making this day perfect for all our friends and family!
