Farmer Browns Ice cream Parlour in Aberdeenshire

An impromptu stop on the way back from the Donkey Sanctuary. Nice little shop to browse before buying ice cream. Plenty of flavours and different kinds of cones. The ice cream is delicious and very reasonably price.

Went there last week and had the amaretto icecream and also the pistachio, both gorgeous, while my partner had the double chocolate, his favourite. We liked it so much that we went back the next day. Two scoops was enough to forego lunch. On the second day we both had the mango icecream, also lovely.

We were meeting family from Threddlethorpe, as we are from Nottingham.The playing facilities for the kids was excellent, the service was very friendly and the food was delicious.The ice cream was also very tasty.We will definately be visiting again, as it made our annual family reunion a wonderful, hassle free experience.Thank you very much.

One of the best ice cream suppliers we have ever tasted! Always a given stopping point when travelling by, come rain or shine. There’s a great space outside to enjoy the weather or if it’s cold and wet there’s lots of inside sitting. Plenty of different foods also available to buy in the store, including dairy produce and meat.

Stopped for lunch on lovely sunny day. Sat outside. Staff very friendly and helpful. I had tuna baguette that come with salad and crisps and husband had full English breakfast. Both very nice and cooked really well. Husband said sausages were particularly good. As ice cream looked so good decided to treat ourselves. Great choice of flavours. I had blood orange sorbet and husband mango. They were absolutely delicious !

Called in for ice cream on a lovely sunny day. Good service, great range of ice creams. I had my usual Rum and Raisin. Sat outside at a table in the shade and really enjoyed my three scoop wafer . Delicious

No better place to have an icecream on a windy and rainy day ! The weather was just terrible but you can escape that and enjoy a break here. Not just an ice cream stop, though there is a great selection of flavours. Their Full English Breakfast is great too. Seated tables under a large wooden canopied structure and outside in the sunshine should it make an appearance! Efficent and friendly service.

Amazing owners and stuff , very polite and gentle, nice place to spend time with kids , to have coffee and fantastic ice cream produced with their own milk.You can also buy meat from their own cows.I strongly recommend a stop there , covid free with satinizing facilities.

Wow! We were staying nearby on a short break. The weather was poor, so checked out places to visit on Tripadvisor and came across Farmer Browns. Absolutely delicious ice cream (and I’m a bit of a expert!). Have got to say, it’s in my Top 5 in the UK. Fresh made, a great choice of flavours and terrific value for money. Two very generous scoops in a super large crunchy waffle cone for just £3. Eat in, or take away - also baps, soups, cakes, scones and simple meals on the menu - but don’t leave without sampling the ice cream, that’s what this place specialises in. Friendly staff, spotlessly clean and extremely COVID-19 compliant. Bought 2 Jaffa Cake tubs flavour to try at home. Highly recommended.

Called here twice during our stay . Lovey hot chocolate and the ice cream was one of the most creamiest we had tasted . My son really enjoyed the milk and we have taken some of the lovey products home with us . Very clean , covid friendly we will be back next tome we are here

Lovely ice cream with a great play area. COVID distancing measures in place in the shop and sanitiser in the play area. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

The main attraction is the farm made ice cream in many flavours - I had liquorice. The cafe also does all sorts of snacks and groceries. There are tractors, etc for children to climb on and slide down, etc.Distancing, etc is applied along with other necessaries nowadays.

I go here regular with my 2 year old. She loves the park area and it’s very spacious.. the ice cream is the best I’ve ever had. Would deffo recommend

We stopped off on our way between Mablethorpe and Chapel St. Leonards for and ice cream. The ice cream was lovely and goid value for money. The problem came when I needed to use the toilet. They had placed a portaloo in the grounds. These are not the nicest things to use normally, but during a pandemic I felt more at risk. Surely the main toilets would be better to open and easier to clean?

We usually visit farmer browns for ice creams but we decided to go and try the breakfasts on Saturday morning. It was lovely! We sat on the benches outside in the sunshine. The staff were polite and friendly and we did not have a long wait for the food. Would highly recommend.

Staff were lovely with our kids, reasonably priced - only £2 for a delicious waffle cone with a super delicious variety of flavours. I had peanut crunch but seriously tempted by the Mini roll one. If only I lived closer!

Great range of ice cream (&cake etc). Each time I go I try to have a new flavour. Slowly going through the range. Cookies & cream a favourite so far. Waiting to catch Xmas cake sometime soon!!

If you like ice cream this is the place for you. As well as ice cream they sell holiday pressies to take home. There is a lovely playground for youngsters. Highly recommend

Lovely breakfasts, lovely ice creams, great play area! Lots of tractors to play on, a combine harvester, 10 slides and a bouncy castle! Friendly staff and the creamiest most lovely milk ever! We had a great time, thanks xx

Great place to take the kids for some real diary icecream made by their own cows, it is so tasty and they have so many great flavours! You can even buy tubs to take away.They serve other food as well but I usually just go for the ice cream and to let the nieces burn off some energy in the play ground. In summer time they have a bouncy castle as well.

This is a great place to go for a huge selection of ice creams. They also do good coffee, scones , cakes , cream teas and breakfast. There is a huge childrens play area. The staff are really friendly and fresh farm produce and flowers are for sale. This was our regular morning coffee stop while staying nearby for our holiday.

Was really busy on a rainy August afternoon. We sat outside but under cover. Nice ice cream and milkshake. Nice play area which the children enjoyed despite the weather.

Have visited several times and always enjoy chosing from the many flavours of ice cream on offer. We love the choc waffle cones. There are plenty of seats both indoors and outdoors to sit and enjoy ones choice. Will pay a further visit next time we are in the area.

First stumbled on Farmer Brown's about two years ago, when i was heading up to Mablethorpe to see my niece.

Look forward to a breakfast here when we’re in our caravan and it’s close enough to pop in for an afternoon ice cream too! Very clean and well kept inside and out - nice to see the cows in the nearby fields.

Loads of flavours and Tasty .price ok got little cafe play area and better ice cream than Applebys staff clean and friendly will be here again

A trip to the paddling pool for a day out. I purchased 3 ice cream cornets one with a “flake”....price paid for the small scoops of ice cream totalled....£6.50 Items purchased from mobile ice cream van...parked next to the children’s pool.

This family run business is simply a must visit! All of the staff are welcoming and friendly always offering a smile- the home cooked breakfast must be the best value along this part of the coast - as for the ice creams - simply yummy!!! Large area outside and small covered area for dog owners with a large okay area for kids.

Great place for an ice cream. Always plenty of different flavours, they change every time we visit. Eat in, take out, cones tubs and large tubs to take home. Hot drinks and food also available.

We visited last year whilst in Mablethorpe and decided well worth a return visit . Superb ice cream and a wealth of flavours and not the run of the mill supermarket variety either . Excellent value for such quality product . The cafe was really busy and the cakes looked really inviting.

We stopped here last year for an ice cream which was amazing, so remembered it this year when we wanted to surprise a friend worth an afternoon tea whilst we were away - it did not disappoint.

Just had a rainbow flavour icecream and my son had chocolate, both delicious. We also loved the play park, and it looks likes its being added to,as there was awsome looking climbing frame just being finished off. Well done :)

Love it here friendly people ,great service, great food family visiting over weekend so we took them here for lunch and they all agreed great place to be we visit here every week love it.

Exceptionally friendly service and nice homemade ice creams and teas, although the prices of the farm produce is WAY over the top compared to that at nearby outlets. The open day in the summer should be AVOIDED if you value health and safety with tractors and trailers moving about. Also, the organisation of events at the open day is truly hopeless.

Very good place to visit with the kids as there is a kids play area outside food in cafe is good but the ice creams are fairly expensive though big choice of flavours all made with farms own milk.

Been visiting here for several years now. Always 10 out of 10. Food excellent ice cream second to none. I have seen comments recently regarding opening times. If you check their web site it states very clearly when they are open in the latter end of the year.

Visited many times and always find the staff to be friendly and helpful The food is good and a reasonable price. coffee is very good. It has a big play area outside, great for young children. Only complaint was the thousands of wasps. I witnessed a baby get stung and left with my baby grandchildren pretty sharpish.

Three of us arrived today (Tuesday 30th October) at approximately 1pm, looking forward to hot drinks and fabulous ice-cream. They've been highly recommended by the B&B; where we were staying. Unfortunately, contrary to the sign showing opening times, it was closed. We were not the only ones to be turned away. Another car arrived as we were leaving. Not sure that we will visit again as it was a wasted journey today! It's also half-term with lots of families with kids in the area.

Cheese and onion toastie after long walk on the beach - just what the doctor ordered. They do amazing ice creams, cakes, sausage rolls, breakfasts etc but it always served with a smile.

The other day we were having a run in the car as it was a lovely sunny day and we were getting ready for that cup of tea. As we wandered along the lane we came across Farmer Browns ice cream. I have passed this place many times but never gave it much attention. Being ready for a cuppa we decided to stop a day try it. Well what a surprise it is lovely and clean seating inside and out and the place serves a wonderful selection of ice creams all made on the premises. In addition they offer drinks homemade cakes and fresh farm veg.

We bought rhubarb ice cream and passion fruit ice cream to take back to caravan. We also bought blackcurrant crumble slice and I have never tasted anything so full of delicious flavour best dessert I've had in a long time

Saw this place on route to Mablethorpe and decided to stop on way back. So glad we did as their ice cream was absolutely delicious. Lots of wonderful flavours to choose from and three different sizes. I had the vanilla and apple and my husband had vanilla and chocolate. Both were suberb in my opinion. You do pay a little more than a regular ice cream van but well worth it as its made from their own milk on sight. Can sit inside or out. They also serve food and their menu looked really appetising. We will try that next time we're passing. The parlour has a small shop which sells local products. We bought some honey which wad also really nice. We would definately call here again and would highly recommend. If you turn left when pulling out, look out for the tablec outside a house filled with homemade jams. I bought a couple of jars and its lovely. Nice to have homemade produce by local people.

The place is friendly and on first impressions all looks very impressive. The ice cream is distinctly average at best, lacking flavour and creaminess (its consistency was good but that was the only positive). Relatively inexpensive so perhaps that’s reflected in the products on offer. If it were so good surely it would be on sale in local shops? The rhubarb ice cream was beyond bland...

A wonderful treat - great ice cream in wonderful flavours, well presented. It's lovely to watch the ice cream being made. There was plenty of space to sit (even in August!) and the childrens play area helped them run off some of the energy.

An excellent end to the day after visiting the donkey sanctuary. Huge range of flavours. It is a must!

A beautiful sunny afternoon to sit outside and watch the cows grazing, we enjoyed a cream tea with strawberries and a lovely pot of tea, could of quite happily sat all day.

What a good find. Found it just passing by and have now been here three times in a week. Reasonable price and it tastes good.

Been here a few times in the past but loving the renovation and new facilities for kids. The bouncy castle is a big hit with our two and the little motorcycle racecourse and slides etc and it's all free which is rare in today's world, Food excellent cannot fault it loving the fresh strawberries! Highchairs available too.

We visited here during a family holiday to Chapel St Leonards. We had a variety of items from the menu including ice cream milkshakes, liquorice ice cream and banana ice cream and all were lovely. In the cafe they also sell jams and chutneys and other items. Outside there is a bouncy castle and other play items to keep the younger ones happy. Hope to visit here again when we are in the area even if its just for the liquorice ice cream.

Had some food and was going to have an ice cream after but decided to leave as the place had loads of wasps. At one point had 6 flying round our table and that was inside, it was worse outside.

We stopped here for an ice cream whilst travelling between Sutton and Skeggy.

I have driven past this place so many time and we arranged to meet up with some friends and their children. Really lovely for the kids to play I would suggest the age of 18 months up to 11 years. This place has a piece of land with a large bouncy castle, small area to ride pedal cars and tractors and a few other wooden activities. The building is very clean and looks new. There is a cafe serving hot and cold food and you can also purchase some local fruits and potatoes. The ice cream is very good offering lots of flavours and you can choose from a variety of cones.

NO, it's not a spelling mistake...… It's what happened. On the road to Sutton on Sea and an invitation board asking you to call in at the Ice Cream Parlour. Hot and sunny weather this month. Too good an invitation to turn down.

We always encourage our holiday guests to call in at Farmer Browns Ice Cream Parlour at Huttoft when visiting the many beautiful sandy beaches nearby.

During a day trip to the seaside my husband and I saw a road sign for Farmer Browns and decided to give it a whirl. What a find, great food, great service, clean, kids play area and dog friendly outside area, what more could you want, as for the ice cream, well that is simply delicious. We will definitely be back.

What a great place. We had Panini’s which had loads of filling and were very tasty, followed the Ice Cream which was simply amazing. Staff are very friendly and there seems to be plenty of them. All parts are spotlessly clean. There is als a children’s play area.

We were on holiday and visited twice during our week away. We were lucky to sample the special Fathers Day Ice Cream sundae. The cherry ripple ice cream is to die for DON'T MISS IT, we bought a carton to take away it's the best we tasted.

Probably the best Icecream I've tasted. Real farm made with real ingredients. Very good and 100% recommend.

me and my partner stopped here and we had a lovely breakfast and we bought some home made scones and some clotted cream to take out with us . the people who work there are very lovely and friendly . would recommend it to all my family and friends .

This weekend we travelled to mablethorpe for a day trip and over night stay, we had to make our visit to Farmer Browns for my husband to stock up on there amazing apple juice, we treated our self's to one of there farmers breakfast, WOW!!!...

Farmer Brown's is a required stop any time we drive up the coast road. The kids love it! Great ice cream and a real farm experience.

They make their own ice cream here and it is a treat. A lot of the flavours are gluten free, they also serve gluten free cones. There are also meals and sandwiches on offer, also gluten free cakes. The coffee and hot chocolate are also good. Prices are reasonable across the board. There is also local produce on sale. Children get a large play area to use. Restricted weekend opening in the winter season.

Ice cream was rally nice and so were the scones my husband had. Really good value for money and the shop was clean and very welcoming. Will certainly visit again.

We dropped in for a sandwich for lunch and ended up buying a lot more from a wonderful little shop.

We visited here twice whilst we were on holiday in the area. The first time was for ice cream, which was delicious, husband had Double Choc and I had Raspberry Pavlova. The ladies in the café were so nice that we decided to return for breakfast a few days later, which was very tasty. We both had breakfast baps, full to overflowing with bacon, sausage, egg, beans and tomato. Extremely good value for money. Husband had strawberry milkshake, which he said was the best he had tasted for a long while. They also have great cakes, which look handmade. Lots of free parking, seating inside and out and a large play area for children.

So, I have to confess that the other half and myself are ice-cream connoisseurs and we simply adore great ice-cream. Another way of saying this, of course, would be to simply admit that we are addicted to the stuff.

Been driving past this place for a few year and always want to call in and support small local businesses, called in for a ice cream expecting real dairy cream ice cream. Worst ice cream I've ever had, rum and raisin little flavour and made more with water than cream, tasteless large ice cystles and the chocolate milk shake looked great but tasted awful.

Large variety of ice creams & cakes plus nice pot of tea all at reasonable prices. Indoor & outdoor seating & a playground to keep the kids happy. Service with a smile. Thank you.

This was our third visit to Farmer Brown's and we combined this with a visit to the nearby Radcliffe Donkey Sanctuary. There is little to be said, except it's a lovely little place with ample space to eat outside when the weather is good, and the ice cream is simply superb. The kids all had sundaes (two scoops in a bowl with loads of toppings) and me and the other half had the five-scoop sundae and what a sumptuous piece of dairy it is!And the whole lot for two adults and four kids came to £20, which was great value taking into account the amout you get and the quality. Staff were very friendly and helpful as well.It's also worth noting they do proper cooked farm breakfasts as well. We saw one being served and it looked the business. Definitely one to try next time.Very highly recommended, and we'll be back in 2018!
