Great food. Friendly staff. Highly recommended

If you’ve had a hard day at work and you’re in the area, go to Falafel King. Yes it’s cash only, but these gentlemen are the kindest most welcoming people for miles around. The mixed chicken and falafel wraps are delicious, huge and so very comforting. If you’re not sure what to have, they will recommend a combination of food and condiments. I can’t compliment them enough for their food and customer care.

Come here regularly and it's always so good. Amazing value for money with great portions and amazing flavours and you can personalise your food! Love it!

Honestly pretty average food, it's only propped up by the fact that there's not many other options nearby. The service is atrocious though, very rude and unfriendly staff.

Without a doubt the best falafel wrap you can get in Sheffield. Love the salad here, I basically get everything. You can get falafel with a wide range of different ingredients. My favourite is falafel with spicy potato but the falafel with aubergine is also delicious. The staff are so lovely and the service is very quick. I never know what sauce to get but their sauce recommendations always turn out perfect 🤩 There’a a few small tables to sit down but I think most people usually take their wraps out. Decor is kind of eclectic which ends up feeling really sort of authentically Egyptian😭🫶 Honestly love this place, imo they’ve perfected their recipe and menu and I hope it never changes :3

Popped in on a Sunday. Tiny place with a few basic sit down places inside. Very limited menu. However, the food is amazing and even though the prices have almost doubled over the last few years it is still good value for money. Well worth a visit ... i would definitely go again.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant. I simply ordered extra bread, and the staff member responded disrespectfully, rushing me with a tone that left me feeling unwelcome. Such poor customer service ensures I won't be returning.

We only moved here 2 weeks ago we have taken over the pub across the road the doctors orders and omg the food is amazing i didnt think i would like falafels but they are amazing. We have tried the wraps and they are the best wraps ive ever tasted and we have just had falafels chicken and spicy potatoes in a box with salad and that was also amazing. The food is fresh and tasty. I want one everyday lol

Great lunch stop off joint if you fancy something different. The queues are out the door most of the time. I went for the Chicken and Spicy Potato, and a Falafel and Halloumi large wrap. I also ordered a portion of meat samosas. All the staff are super friendly and despite being busy busy, still took the time out to chat to every customer. The gentleman manning the till was literally flying around allover the shop. Was impressive to watch! The wraps were amazing…. The sauces we added were, Chilli, mint and Tahini. The large option will have you well and truly stuffed. The samosas weren't great if I’m honest. They were tiny and made of filo pastry, not of proper pastry as shown on their own menu board. If I’d known they were filo, I’d not have ordered them. Their great service and expectional wraps made up for the samosa.

I LOVE this place. Fast food that’s good for you. They have their ordering down to a fine art and you’ll get a huge, delicious, healthy falafel wrap in minutes. When I worked nearby I called in so often they knew my order LOL. Always freshly prepared, lots of choice, cheap, cheap ,cheap for what you get and always tasty.

The gold standard of food on-the-go! Taste and over food quality is great. Good vegetarian and vegan options. Price wise, you can get a large falafel wrap for £6-7 and I highly doubt you would need anything more for lunch that day. One thing to remember, it's cash only.

It is expensive and the food is not tasty. Additionally, falafel seems to have been prepared in advance and is not worth the price. Moreover, they do not have a card machine, so you should bring cash.

Nice restaurant but the prices are more than the average. I strongly recommend the warps rather than tray.

One of the best takeaways in Sheffield. Generous portions for the price, I get a large wrap everytime. Great vegan options. Not only are the wraps delicious but they get the texture right everytime.

Tbh it's okay, kinda mid. The selection is abit limited. The portion sizes are largeish. Price okay. It's cash only, I don't like that. Every thing seems fresh. The taste is decent but some people hype this place up too much. Its good but not great. I'd recommend trying it, you can't really go wrong, but don't expect the best thing ever.

I couldn't give more than one stars as I didn't get any food. We ordered through deliveroo on a Saturday before 9pm. The order would arrive between 9.30 and 9.45. However the order would not be moving and they wouldn't answer the phone. We eventually cancelled the order but by that time it was too late to order or even drive elsewhere to get food

Unbelievable food, so clean, the king special wrap, chicken, spicey potatoes, halloumi and salad, best wraps in Sheffield imo, got my order mixed up with someone’s else’s took it back and they swapped it no problem and gave me a free bag of crisps, the most polite staff ever * 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND*

I used to love the food here but the last few times I've been, the service and atmosphere have not been as friendly, and to be honest, I have had better falafels. I would still recommend Falafel King though.

Went to the newly opened Falafal King in Broomhill which is run by the same people as the Glossop Road one. Oh my it didn’t disappoint and now closer to home.

What a great little place. Lovely fresh ingredients made quickly and nice price. Popped in here for a quick bite, £6.50 for tandoori chicken, aubergine and all the salad and choice of sauces and a Diet Coke. Several seats and tables inside makes it cosy 👍

Best wraps in Sheffield, a bold statement I know but they are also not stupidly priced. If your looking for a hangover cue this is the place, it brings you back to life. Brilliant place to go for a quick lunch that isn’t a chain or supermarket. Fresh ingredients made on demand & a very sizeable portion for the price of £6 for a meat filled wrap with salad and sauce. Customer service could have been slightly better as the communication wasn’t great and slightly messed up my order, but this was quickly rectified.

Please update your opening hours if they are not accurate. I drove 20 mins across town yesterday to be told you're closing on arrival (around 19:30). Quite disappointing

Great falafel restaurant with the best falafels this side of the Pennines! Good choice of additions to your falafel, which comes in a choice of 2 sizes of wraps. You can also choose which veg to have in the wrap, the pickled turnip was surprisingly delicious! I ordered a large wrap, which was so big I ate half in the restaurant and took half home for tea the next day! Absolutely delicious hummus, which I discovered you can buy a huge pot of to take away for £2.50, excellent value.

Food OK. Not best falafel I've ever had. And better options is Sheffield. Staff not particularly friendly. I guess they mostly serve hospital staff on lunch breaks and students. Try the Malaysian cafe called Zurol which just 2 doors down.

Great, classic falafel wraps at a good price. We had one with halloumi, one with aubergine and one with hommous. Less vegetarian options are also available. We got via Deliveroo but will call in person next time for better customisation options - the standard wrap had too much delicious pickled chilli for one of our number.
