Evuna NQ in Manchester

Visited with Ic, Flic, family and friends. Had not realised I had been before. I knew I'd been to the Deansgate outlet a few times. It's a good place for social tapas eating. A good selection of traditional small plates. All washed down with beer, wine and soft drinks. Busy on a Tuesday night in late Feb. Service charge included. Toilets in basement. Lunchtime special deals.

I was really looking forward to visiting Evuna as I have tried to get in a few times whilst in Manchester, but left underwhelmed. We had the lunch menu and whilst the chicken skewers were nice, the jamon croquetas were sloppy and tasteless and the patatas bravas were soggy. We mentioned the poor PB at the time, but nothing was done to rectify it and we didn’t eat it. I’d have expected a new plate to be brought to the table, or this to be knocked off the bill, we received neither. There was a service charge applied which was disappointing considering the issue we raised.

First visit but will be back. Very relaxed atmosphere, attentive staff and excellent food.

Love this place I've been twice in the past 4 days! First on Saturday with the husband and took my girls on Tuesday evening. The food is amazing and the staff are fantastic. One of the most authentic tapas places I've ever been it feels like you are on holiday. Prices are reasonable and the wine is delicious. My daughter could eat a whole jar of those olives!! Worth travelling to and I'm from Liverpool!

Great atmosphere, food and wine, and friendly Spanish staff... it was busy even on a Monday night but eating at the bar was fine...maybe worth booking ahead. Definitely worth a visit!

Fantastic experience, we arrived late & on a very busy Saturday evening, they still managed to fit us in, food was excellent, service was fab.

By far THE best place to eat in town EVER. If you’ve never tried this place, book in now 🤤 My boyfriend and I come here every time it’s date night. We have honestly never found a better place for food, wine or service. We get the same thing every time, which is basically all the tapas on the menu 😅 Chorizo, paprika chicken, calamari, Evuna chips, prawns, and fillet steak strips - you’re welcome 😆

Nice tapas, great atmosphere. Chorizo was different from any I've had before (Spain or UK), wasn't to our taste but I'm sure it's authentic to how they wanted it. Great service and reasonable price.

Really good tapas, wine and friendly staff. The food came out all together so i would recommend ordering a few dishes first and then waiting a few more later so it doesn’t get cold. The desserts were really good too. Nice date spot and fun to people watch.

Went here last year for food before theatre. A short walk down to Royal Exchange. Food excellent still. Good choices.

Great tapas, great staff, nice vibe and good location. I would recommend and will be back. We had the platinum group menu which was excellent.

We came here without a reservation in from the cold wet streets of Manchester. Very welcoming. A lovely experience, warm atmosphere, good food and excellent service! Handsome waiter too. 😉

Excellent service, authentic food, great venue.

Nice place, very cosy inside but make sure to get a booking as it’s super hard to get one on the day. Food was good especially the pork cheeks and mash, pork belly and seafood paella is worth for big groups. Service is good and very speedy regardless of how busy it is.

It’s very cosy and welcoming. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. I recommend the seafood paella, pork cheeks, pork belly and padron peppers. Obviously you have to order some Sangria too. My least favourite was the tortilla de bravas, it was more towards the dry side, not much texture as well.

Lovely visit early evening. We went for the prawns, stuffed peppers, steak, croquettes, patatas braces and chicken in paprika sauce. The service was very friendly and the food came quickly. Would definitely recommend!

Best Tapas I've had, really enjoyed our night, we weren't rushed as happens at other places and service was top notch

After work on a Monday isn't really going to give great atmosphere I'm aware. The staff were friendly and food was pretty quick, however it wasn't fully to our taste despite loving Spanish food. The chorizo in red wine was a little too over cooked, the chicken in the paprika chicken was bone dry despite being smothered in sauce. Other dishes didn't really hit the mark either, with the exception of pan catalan- purely because raw tomatoes are one of my favourite foods. Not an absolute no, but wouldn't really be rushing back either.

Amazing food and friendly staff, great selection of wines on offer as well. Definitely recommend.

Stumbled upon this place so decided to come back later for dinner, sat at the bar as we didn't have a reservation and was perfect. Really friendly staff, great atmosphere and lovely wine and food at an affordable cost. Had some good vegetarian options. Would definitely return if I came back to Manchester.

My lovely son took us to Evuna for a meal for my birthday. The food was delicious and the Sangria was really nice😍. The restaurant is quite small. Unfortunately there was a woman who was really loud and annoying. She made it difficult for us to have a conversation and we were all glad when she and her party left. If you like Tapas try Evuna, you won't be disappointed.

It’s a nice spot for an intimate dinner or a hangout with friends and family. The whole idea is to try out meals in small portions. You should definitely try out their wine menu. Loved the warm lighting and the customer service was superb. P.s: Call ahead to book or book a table on their website.

Very lovely little tapas restaurant in the middle of the Northern quarter. I like the wooden interior and the food was very wholesome and reminded me of some of the tapas I had in Spain. Good quality per value.

Very mediocre, food arrived lukewarm. Toilets were in need of a good clean or makeover. When there are so many good restaurants around I’d say it needs up its game.

Excellent tapas, really tasty. Perhaps a bit pricey but quality makes it worthwhile. Good sized plates and good wine.

Quick service, friendly staff and tasty food, Patatas bravas and vegan meatballs are a must try!

❤️Love❤️everything about this quirky tapas bar we've been visiting it over the years and never got around to writing a review. The staff are welcoming friendly and attentive, the food is delicious they do a lunch special offer just over £15 for 3 tapas we normally order 6 between us which is plenty, the meatballs and calimari are two of our favorites.

Had another great meal at Evuna NQ. I will be going again soon. I do love a great tapas and Evuna NQ always delivers with a smile and great food!

My wife and I had 6 courses ( from the 3 courses £15.95), bread and a bottle of wine. The food was excellent and plentiful. The service and atmosphere was first class. Great food well priced and certainly worth a visit. Will definitely go back.

Not the best Spanish food available in Manchester City Centre. Extremely small plates and rather poor quality. Service was good but I'm afraid I won't be going back.

Food in my opinion was ok, not amazing, but I would return, slightly on the expensive side but isnt everywhere now!

Great food, great service, great atmosphere

Popped in on a Monday about 5pm without a booking and was offered bar or window seat as all tables were booked; we chose window to watch the world go by. Staff were very nice, attentive but not pushy. We had crusty bread and 4 tapas which were very good and we were pleasantly full. Would visit again but book a table next time as it seems a very popular place.

Small portion for what you pay and service is just basic.

We turned up with no booking for our anniversary as we realised we had booked the Deansgate restaurant by accident. We sat at the bar and we were looked after very well by server behind the bar. Sangria was amazing, food was quick and tasted fantastic. love the atmosphere and would recommend to anyone. Lots of people were being turned away, on a Tueday evening, so you definitely need to book.

Update 20.07.2023 Great food presented well. Good atmosphere. Slow surly service. Coffee machine broken so no hot drinks.

Last Friday we combined a gift of a wine tasting session with a meal. It was a busy Friday as you’d expect, Andrea was fantastic, really friendly and presented the wines (2 Red, 2 White) in a friendly and knowledgeable manner. We’ve been before, we had a great night this time and we’ll definitely be back. Great service, thank you.

Delicious, have a great meal every time we go. Quite small and popular so make sure you book. The house red wine is great. Took a bottle home it was so nice. There is a lunch offer which is a cut down selection of the main tapas menu. Try the pork cheeks, they are amazing.

Great atmosphere value and service.

The staff was friendly and place was well placed, however the food portion size were very small even for a tapas. Wine here is a delight, not very keen on the food though. I went there on my birthday, it was communicated to the staff, they didn’t even care to wish you happy birthday, small gestures go a long way.

I love this place. I lived in Manchester for 3 years and by far my favourite restaurant 😍

Incredible food and equally as good service. We came as a group of 6 for lunch and were indecisive, so we asked the waiter to pick 15 of their best tapas dishes. I honestly cannot put into words how good the food was. Every plate was wiped clean.
