I love this restaurant! All the members of staff are lovely and make sure you feel attended to and comfortable. The food was delicious. I’m not usually a massive meat-eater but I couldn’t resist. One of my family members had the pasta and as a pasta lover I also found that delicious. The drinks were nice and the mocktail was very pretty and tasted good too. I would definitely go back again.

Been before and this place never let me down! Special mention to our lovely server Janine who was very attentive to our table that nearly made me flirt with her! And the rest of the crew is just fantastic as well! We will be coming back.

Lovely place with excellent food and good staff. Six of us had a birthday meal last Saturday afternoon and we were very impressed. One of the very few occasions that I was pleased to pay the service charge as it was worth it. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Minus 3 stars for the 10% service charge automatically added to the bill, for a party of 9 this came to £36, having to stare your server in the face whilst asking for that to be taken off the bill means, that as nice as Estabulo is, we'll never be going again.

Been here a couple times before. The meat provided is okay - it can be hit or miss; either over-seasoned, undercooked (we opted for Medium Rare for the table and often received almost blue cuts), or just about right. We were early diners with about 10 of us in the group, it took a while for the skewers to come out to us and we were often required to ask for a bit more from the cuts as the shave was quite meagre. They seemed to ply us more with the cheaper cuts such as the rump… several times. In our 2 hours dining, we only saw the Chicken Thighs, Fillet and Lamb once, - didn’t even see the chicken & bacon or Coracao de Frango and the Gammon came when we were pretty much finished with the meal and it came sans pineapple. Credit to them for their Chili Beef though as that seemed to have reached us freshly off the BBQ every time (which came twice!) and was very well cooked and flavourful. The waiting staff were attentive and friendly; the staffers with the skewers - less so. They tended to seem rushed off their feet for no reason and were impatient on those who were slower with their tongs. For a rodizio-style grill, it’s probably acceptable within Wakefield but it wouldn’t fly in a larger city like Leeds when places like Fazenda exist.

Loved Estabulo. Can't wait to return. The staff were friendly and helpful as we had never been before. The food was great.

Previously had Estabulo before at Doncaster which I loved, so was really looking forward to this experience again. However, this experience was not at all similar. Very challenging to find parking nearby. The staff were absolutely fine. But the food we found extremely salty. All the meats were salty and a couple were found to be very difficult to eat they were that bad. Not all we're dreadful. The salad bar was great. Some of our party requested the meat to be medium to which the staff kindly obliged, but no meat that was offered was anything near. For the cost of this restaurant I wouldn't return to this establishment but maybe others.

Hands down the best restaurant I've ever been too. It was absolutely phenomenal!! Everything was cooked to perfection, the service was perfect and never intrusive and the price was the best shock!! You can easily get the best meal of your life for a bit more than a dominos. You have to go!

Average nothing special far too expensive a total rip off

We arrived late in the evening on a Thursday night, nobody else there, and Patrick and the team welcomed us with open arms, stoked up the fires and served us some wonderful food with personality even when they were tired after a busy day. Wonderful experience and excellent food, just a shame that we had arrived too close to closing time. Definitely worth visiting. 👍

This was my 4th or 5th visit to the place, and 1st to this particular branch. Although food was good, but we were not served all options from menu, probably only 4 types of steaks were served and rest were not being served on the day. Service was good. Salad bar was great as ever. For 40£ per head plus service charges, I think we should have been served all options mentioned in their dinner menu.

Unfortunately at our 3rd visit we had to realise that when the restaurant is rammed the food quality and taste is dropping quite heavily. Our previous 2 visits was on a quiet monday night and everything tasted amazing expect the sides what i think they're disappointing. In fazenda the sides are glorious so there is something you can develop. However on our 3rd visit on a Friday night, when it was busy everything tasted horrible or very far from the level we got used to. It is justsad. Will think about the return.

Visited for dinner in the evening - quick and attentive service with a good rotation of meats and extras. ‘Salad’ bar has a great choice of sides and accompaniments.

It's a bit more expensive than l expected but good food, friendly staff and good for those special occasions.

It’s ok but for the money I would rather go to a nice restaurant for the same price not my cup of tea really so not sure I would bother going back

Food was great. Staff were slow to see if we wanted more drinks. Other than the people carving the meat at the table, who came round alot the staff serving our table were knowhere to be seen.

Amazing food, salad bar and lots of meat grilled to perfection, kids loved it especially the grilled pineapple at the end. Even has a blue light card discount. Lovely staff I even got red rose left over from vals day.

We've been to Estabulo a number of times over the past few years and really enjoy the concept and the food but we left feeling really disappointed after this visit. The food and meat servers were still great, and the salad bar was amazing as always but unfortunately we couldn't get past how much the price has risen since our last visit, maybe two years ago. We remember the price as being in the region of £25-30 per head and were shocked to see that it had risen to £45 per head. It's an insane price hike and, as much as we enjoy the restaurant, it's simply not worth that amount of money. On top of that we weren't ever asked if we needed another drink and had to go out of our way to find a server to ask for more drinks. A real shame as it was previously a family favourite.

Delicious food, excellent staff and relaxed atmosphere. We’ve tried another Brazilian bbq too but I would return to Estabulo before their competitors because it was better value for money and the hot food was available buffet style which I liked

Standard fare for the enthusiast carnivore, decent selection at the salad bar and a decent wine list. Wait staff attentive which is a given with any rodizio I suppose.

Hi I just popped in for a small lunch and half a beer. They were not able to serve small meals or such as a burger and salad, or perhaps such as some simple fried chicken wings... so I didn't eat. Pity. Fantastic looking establishment (or estabulo!) Would be very happy to dine there when needing a full meal.

Lovely food, it's always our favourite place to go for a treat. Salad bar is absolutely delicious and the meat is to die for. The staff is great, always with a smile on their faces and nothing is impossible, even when you ask for a cocktail that is not on the menu. I don't understand why people are complaining about the meat being raw - it's the first thing you are asked when you sit down.

Always have a pleasant experience whenever I come to Establulo. I'm coeliac so I cannot eat gluten and the manager always remembers me and comes over to take my order for the salad bar. Really good service, food is always nice and a pleasant experience :)

Came here today to with my wife and son to treat my niece and her partner for Xmas. We booked for 12 and we're the only ones in there for a while. The food was AMAZING!!! and the service from the staff was brilliant from start to finish. The only negative I have is that when I got the belly pork is was in some sort of sticky cinnamon sauce which I don't like. Apart from that all the other meats and the salad bar were delicious

Went on work Christmas meal, it's a lot of money £42.99 per head if you don't eat all the meat that's offered, you can visit salad bar as much as you want which I only went once as the amount of food offered is over facing. Drinks expensive like all restaurants. Atmosphere okay. Would recommend if you like loads of meat, but I won't be going again.

An extremely great meal. Would definitely go again! I went with a group of 15 people and it is a great venue for a big table of people. So many meats on offer, everyone would find something they would enjoy! I would recommend.

Fabiola made the experience exceptional. From the time I walked in to the time I left. The team was great but she made the restaurant shine. It was an amazing experience. We would highly recommend anyone going there if they receive the first class service that she gave. There are hardly any experiences of this standard that come to mind when i think of service I receive at a restaurant. Thank you for making this a memorable experience.

Really shocked by our experience at Estabulo Wakefield today. We've been countless times over the years, celebrated occasions here but will never return after today's appalling treatment. Service was slow, it took a while to get any steak, the meat was extremely bland, chewy and frankly not edible at times. We did not receive any gammon or pineapple, our table must have been missed as we saw it go around. We asked for steak to 1x staff member after 30 mins having received none, we mentioned to 2x staff members that the steak was bland and not tasty or up the usual standards. We tried it after this had been fed back and no change so we turned our cards red. This was after we had been missed for gammon and pineapple. When asking for the bill we requested a discount as the experience wasn't good at all, we weren't happy to pay full price especially after mentioning at least twice the steak wasn't good. So this is the part we are shocked about, a male server spoke to myself and my friend about the bill, said he was unable to offer any discount for the substandard meal, he said we should have communicated to them if there was a problem with the steak, he said we had turned our cards red and this is why we received no gammon which is a lie, he said he wouldn't offer a discount as "who's to say you won't go to head office to complain after for another discount". What are you insinuating here exactly? As mentioned above we highlighted the quality issues at least twice to two different staff members. We all experience a poor meal from time to time however the confrontational, argumentative, extremely unpleasant and unprofessional attitude we were faced with was shocking. Still cannot believe how we were spoken to. We ended up paying for one of the meals but this didn't compensate for the nasty attitude in the end.

Great food, attentive service and overall a very nice experience. However it's expensive and I don't like the fact a 10% tip is added by default. I would tip, but I would do it cash and I don't think the staff will receive the full amount if paid on card, bad practice IMO

Just very average, have visited for years and I have to say its just getting poor, pre covid this place was great, just not worth the money salad bar was average, the meat seems average quality just not worth it

I was a little apprehensive due to other reviews saying the meat was very rare. We were asked at the start how we like our steak cooked. Myself and my husband only eat well done and they put a note on the table to let the staff know you like we'll cooked. The salad bar was absolutely delicious, the nicest salad bar I've ever seen. The meat was constantly coming around and was fresh from the grill. Beautifully seasoned and well cooked. It is expensive but of you want a good meal with decent and varied cuts of meat, it's well worth the expense (for a nice treat). I've already booked again to take some family members in a couple of weeks. Very impressed.

Massively exspensive. £42 per head? Nobody eats that much average food.

We couldn't get a booking for 12.30as it was fully booked so took one for 12noon. However the whole time we were there, the venue was very quiet - baffling. Disappointingly, some of the meat was tough & fatty, the gammon was very dry. Pineapple & buffet were delicious. Overall we felt this was very overpriced.

This was our first visit to this particular Estabulo but our 3rd to the chain in general. As always, fantastic service & a great choice of food. The staff even went to extra mile and brought complimentary during for the people in our party who were celebrating their Ruby Anniversary. Thank you to the restaurant and all the staff for a fantastic experience. We will definitely return!

Whilst the food was brilliant and extremely tasty, waking up in the middle of the night being ill several times is not something I would like to experience again

Went last night for my husbands birthday the food was ok but certainly not worth the £40 charge meat only came out once a while then servers left the floor to leave you to nibble on the sides and unless you like your meat bloody this place isn’t for you Also the service charge that is automatically added to your bill is awful a party of 6 is charged over £70 in tips this is extortion if you want to tip I want to do it myself not pay 10% if my bill expensive night out !!!!!

Meat dishes are excellent and plenty to eat. Side dishes are good but not quite as many as I would like and not topped up as often as they should be for the price.

I had a great time at this restaurant last week. The food was amazing and the interactive experience was awesome. My kids really enjoyed it too.

Always lovely food and a fantastic way of trying meats cooked differently to how you usually have it I was always a well done steak kinda girl but now I've had medium I'm converted!

I was invited for a meal to this restaurant even tho I only eat chicken. There are other options to choose, not just meat. That was a positive surprise. The salad stacion had lots to choose from, and even a picky eater could eat there full in here. Meat I ate was so good the rest of my party enjoyed there meat so much. I do recommend there sticky toffee pudding omg so good and drinks

Normally one of my favorite places to eat but I won't be returning. I agree with a price increase to keep the quality of the food but I don't think that has been the case. The meat was terrible quality, tough and fatty. All well over seasoned, why would you put so much pepper on fillet mignon that you cannot taste the meat at all? Service was very slow and after an hour and half we turned our cards to red as we were just fed up of waiting. Left still hungry as the salad bar was lacking and looked old/congealed too. They have also removed the bombon from the coffee menu which we usually end our meal with several of and the bill still cost more than it would have with them added. Too expensive to be disappointed and still hungry.

The first thought that came to mind when I came here was wow this is different... in a very good way! Me and my partner came here to celebrate my birthday and it was a fantastic choice. The salad bar where you can help yourself as much as you like has a huge choice of tasty options and all meats were cooked to perfection. The service was also perfect, extremely friendly staff who gave us a lovely welcome as soon as we entered. These guys don't get no where near as much credit as they deserve, as they obviously work extremely hard under very time restricted and stressful circumstances. I'd like to say a big thank you to estabulo... we can't wait to be back 😍

I've been here several times, and each time, it's been noticed that the food has gotten less and less. The meat was very hit and miss, and you kinda get the feeling that if the place isn't busy, then your food is compromised. The meat didn't come very often, and we often found ourselves sat with nothing at all on our plates. We got one small basket of overcooked chips to share between two. There were 4 of us at this dinner spending a total of over 250 quid. But unfortunately, we didn't feel like we got much of a meal or service.

I went to estábulo on Saturday for some dinner with my friend, the experience was amazing, the meat was beautifully cooked and the salad bar was also very well presented and delicious. The waitress who was taking care of us i believe was called Janine she was great, was very clear and explained how the restaurant worked, made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us with a very big smile on her face every time, she was so polite and was genuinely very helpful. A big shoutout to Janine and the rest of the staff will definitely recommend this restaurant to family and surely will come back. Thank you.

Excellent service and the meat is perfectly cooked. They ask you how you like your meat cooked as you sit down. The lamb is to die for and the cinnamon pineapple at the end is a great way to finish a meal after eating all the variety of steaks. Will definetely return. Thank you!

Wow I was taken here as a birthday treat, and what a treat! I don't know which I liked best the wide variety of salads or the beautifully cooked meat. The staff couldn't be more helpful. The toilets were sparkling! The state of the loos plays a large part in my rating of a place, if they can keep them clean it bodes well for the kitchen and the quality of food in my mind. The meat is supplied by Doric Game my brother tells me. It was tender, mouth watering and flavourful. Yes it's expensive, but what you get for your money is worth every penny. You choose your salad, hot, cold,and gluten free, except for the bread of course. Then you head back to your table and wait for the meat to be brought to you. It comes hot and fresh from the kitchen, your portion is carved in from of you and you can have as much as you like. And it just keeps coming. Or it did until I turned my "more please" mat over to " I'm stuffed". ( I can't remember the exact words but you get the drift). There was sirloin, gammon, pork, lamb, chicken thighs, top side, rump and it all just kept coming. I'm so pleased I was able to experience it. It was worth every penny of my brother's money. I can't recommend it highly enough. If you go, and I really hope you do, go on an empty stomach you won't regret it. The nearest parking is the multi story next to the train station unless you can find a spot in the car park off George Street. The entrances at the rear and the front are wide enough to get a wheelchair through

We asked for well done meat but they were just bringing out med rare so a member of our group only eats meat and chips so didnt feel he got his monies worth and it says there is15 meats but there was not. that is why i only gave 4 for food

Far too expensive for what's essentially a buffet. We're not against meals of this price, but the addition of the service charge makes the unreasonable for food that's at best good, not excellent. Service poor, waited 10 minutes to pay, and staff bringing the meat around were banging it onto the table. Class. £100 for 2 people and 1 drink each.

Very accommodating. I booked a table for 20 people which other restaurants weren’t willing to do on a weekend evening or over one table. It was a suprise for my husbands 40th and so they allowed me to put up banners and take in a cake which they brought out after our fantastic meal and sang happy birthday! I don’t know how a staff member knew who we were when we entered but she came and showed me the table where all our friends and family were waiting with masks on of my husbands face. The salad bar had a variety of food inc bread cheese pasta and sauces and the meat was brought out and large portions carved at the table frequently during the evening. Even after cake! I found it to be a completely new and fantastic experience definitely recommend for a treat or special occasion. A big Thank you to all staff who made the suprise and overall experience a special one. It will not be forgotten.

I went for a joint birthday meal with my friend the other day. The server was called Izzie she was lovely and very sincere, kept checking we were okay all throughout. The food was amazing, I've never been to a restaurant like this and it was truly a great experience. Will definitely be coming again. The staff were all very smiley and friendly. Made me feel very welcome and heard when ordering more meat and when I wanted to slow down. The salad bar was well kept and filled constantly even as it was getting busy. The kitchen staff from my experience was very efficient and quick with getting all the food out. The drinks were very exotic, felt very high class and very scrumptious. We were offered every kind of meat and there was a great selection!! It was so tender and beautiful. The birthday cake was so tasty the melted chocolate was out of this world. Very accommodating to your likes, a couple beside me stated they liked there meat well done and the servers were more than happy to accommodate them. 10/10 experience.

We attended at lunchtime on a weekday so it was pretty quiet as expected but they were always still bringing the food out quickly and it was cooked to perfection every time. The staff were really nice to and we enjoyed the music
