Great little cafe and convenient for shop and bus stop

This is the only place i go it has a great great atmosphre for all

Very friendly, clean and it's always such a pleasure to come in and get a coffee before I even open my mouth to say hello, they know how I like it!

Great place for lunch..lovely coffee so much better than the usual chain shops. They make a fabulous tuna melt very tasty..its become my go to place for a shortish break. Very reasonably priced very comfortable and popular..radio music plays in the background and adds to a very pleasant venue. Staff are very friendly and accommodating..First class

Tried latte coffee and loved the way it was light single shot coffee and good milk in it. The service was so impressive - the lady at counter served with amazing smile and warm words. Loved my experience here as a tourist.

Two cappuccinos ordered and literally no coffee in them, slight brown tint to the liquid might be detectable with scientific equipment. Two croissants ordered – hot on the outside – fridge cold on the inside. Add to that dirty trays, grubby table – means you should avoid.

We’ve been here before and it was very pleasant. Today we visited and ordered drinks and toast. Drinks came in s takeaway cup then the toast came in a burger box. Try buttering toast in s burger box!! Not the easiest. Won’t be going again

Very disappointed. Wanted something to eat but they didn't have any choice of food. Coffee ok. This is the second time we've been there with the same problem. Food and drink came in cardboard containers. Won't be going there again

Popped in as we thought we’d have a better experience than going to one of the larger chains. The service was okay and the coffee was ready good. However both toilets were out of service. I think it’s very important and a planning requirement to have at least one customer toilet. I’ve never had to worry in other cafes. Pity really.

Lovely friendly relaxed atmosphere.No overly loud music making it unable to communicate. Friendly staff offering excellent service un a comfortable setting.

hmmmm Ce Carot Cake!!!!! super café nouvelle génération ou il est agréable de prendre un verre, bouquiner, travailler, déjeuner avec une copine, et petit dej avec son amoureux en visite à Porto Personnel super accueillant qui parle plein de langues J'ai découvert pour le gouter , j'ai a-do-ré, et j'y suis retourné le lendemain pour le p'tit dej... il fallait rentrer sinon, j'y aurais pris mes habitudes je recommande vraiment

Disappointed experience with a young blonde waitress yesterday (Saturday) at 16.37. The closing time was 5 o'clock. Went in the shop to buy 2 take away coffees and stayed at the counter for 2 min while she did not bother to observe me. Then, her colleague came from the tables and wanted to help me and she said impolitely it was closed. On my way out, two more ladies wanted to enter the shop and I let them know the shop was closed. I cannot believe how such behaviours are tolerated by customers, these kind of employees are pushing businesses in bankrupcy.

Been using this coffee shop for a couple of years now and I must say that all the staff are a credit to the company. They are always happy and always very positive. I’ve never had a bad experience, oh ye the coffee is great as well

I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW AS I EXPERIENCED IT RE: GLUTEN FREE FOOD NOT AS A BAD RESTAURANT! I have not visited Esquires for a while so when I went there recently, expecting it to be as it was before I was very disappointed. I could see none of the good cakes on the counter that had been especially made Gluten Free so I asked what they had for someone like myself. The young man at the counter was off-hand and unfriendly. He did not know what I meant and then when I explained he said that they 'didn't have anything like that' but I could have something like a baked-potato or a salad!! Yes of course!....Just what I fancied with my cup of tea. I did notice that the place was quite full and the clientele were predominantly families or Mums with children so it was busy and noisy.

No customer service. Ordered tea for two and got to mugs with t bags. Very strange as this isn't even on the menu. Changed it for pots and had the audacity to ask for more money.

Nice, clean and helpful staff. Nice outdoor seating. We both had caramel lattes which was spot on. We will be back.

Fair prices, friendly and helpful staff. I'm disabled and didn't even need to ask them to carry my tray for me, there are a lot of places that you still have to even when staff can see you have no spare hands. I was very impressed.

We visited Esquires for a spur of the moment visit. The coffee here is always good , friendly and efficient service. The coffee is the best tasting in my opinion from a chain. Let down by the lack of choice of pastries and also some cake choices are very expensive. A cheese and tomato toastie was very greasy, in fact too greasy to fully consume. Shame

Friendly staff, good coffee (or teas if you prefer), brunch, snacks and light lunches. Free Wi-Fi and comfy seats. Better than a Starbucks, Costa or Nero in town.

The chai latte was really good nice and spicy! Plenty of comfy seating, they do oat and almond milk

I wish they would cover their food as they allow dogs in their restaurants also staff should have their hair tied back or put up all this is very unhygienic.
