Espresso Gallery in Nottingham

Enjoy this moment. It's really of good quality. After coming to Nottingham for a while, I finally feel that it's worth paying £. Today's hidden menu, classic frittata, is really a surprise. The bread is low and I thought it would be very filling. In the end, it turns out that the portion is just right, which will only make you disappointed. It feels fit, not much. The sauce of Tom Yum Angel Noodles is really good. I just wish it had more mushroom flavor (🤣Only personal taste). It should be corrected if it is paired with soda. This time I had a flat white and crispy cappuccino. The first sip was really filling for the day. Bring your children to enjoy it next time.

Delicious food, dong yam noodles is absolutely good. A good place to enjoy coffee and food. Hong Konger run the cafe with whole heartedly. After months of running, today I have lunch, they are still keeping high standards, excellent! Always has a hidden menu, surprise and delicious.

Lovely little family run cafe. The handmade scones are some of the best I’ve ever had, very crumbly, soft and tasty. Owners really welcoming and friendly. Will be returning soon, highly recommended!

I visited this place for the first time today and i can say for sure that I will be back! The coffee was beautiful and the service was faultless not to mention the decor was perfect in my opinion. Anyone looking for a small, relaxed place to get coffee I would fully recommend here.

This is an incredible place. A shining gem in the neighbourhood. The coffee is carefully curated and top notch and the food offers a unique combination of exquisite flavours. Add to that a cosy, relaxed, and cultured atmosphere, and a very welcoming and courteous service, and it's a win on all fronts.

Love the frittata, coffee, and cozy atmosphere! For Hongkongers, this is a little home away from home too with the lovely owners. Well worth a detour on a drive north from London to Leeds!

Very nice coffee, best I have had from a coffee shop ever. This place is cute and friendly, but the only downside is that some of the art is morbid and isn't family friendly. If you can block it from kids view, nice place to stop for a quick cup

A cute coffee shop with a lovely ambience! I really enjoy coming here, the entire team are both friendly and welcoming. The food selection is also very delicious. It is probably one of my favourite coffee shops in the area, would definitely recommend.

We’d been recommended coming here for weekend brunch….what a find 😊 delicious cooked breakfast with great staff. We ate inside but if the weather had been kinder would of sat in the garden

A wonderful little spot. The staff and owners have set this place up to be a community hub, not just a coffee shop. To this effect, they put on unique nights, sell local art work and most importantly, they support local musical artists of every colour, skill level and musical taste. Adapted quickly after Covid to create more outdoor space and of course have genuinely great coffee!

Friendly local coffee shop, had a house made mocca with cream was lovely. Would always recommend for a professional coffee made fresh.

Always the most AMAZING coffee and they stock oat milk which I love, the staff are wonderful and super friendly and also great with my little one. They make amazing milkshakes my little one LOVES and They have a range of delicious cakes, pastries and cookies and also do a top notch cheese toasty which is delish. My fave coffee place in Nottingham. It's been a lifeline to us through lockdown as well. With continued amazing service.

Wonderful coffee as long as you have time to savour it. Be sure to relax in the garden at the back. It is a bit wild but is a lovely peaceful place to relax.

This is what a coffee shop should be like. Sit there all the day without feeling like you have to leave after 45mins because they need a table. Prices are super cheap, good quality coffee and food and very personable service. Place is a bit cramped and parking isn't great but that's minor.

Popped along to get one of the American style milkshakes. Wow, the vanilla shake was so tasty. At £3 for a large, I was apprehensive but the yum factor was immense. I visited today during the covid-19 Pandemic so they had a table across the door and I waited outside under their parasol. Friendly staff and felt safe to buy from there. Will go again.

Incredibly friendly and serves great coffee. This is probably the best coffee shop on the north eastern side of Nottingham. Mapperley Plains has nothing as good as this. Well worth your time and money.

Very good coffee and lovely attentive staff

Went for the first time today with mu partner after a recommendation and we were not disappointed, the service was very good even in covid-19 situation, they took the time to provide and excellent service while still maintaining safety, they also took the time to get to know customers and they were extremely polite, the coffee itself was beautiful and id definitely enjoy going for an another, the homemade lemon drizzle cake was to die for, it was extremely moist and the vegan brownie that my partner had was rich and delicious and she would highly recommend

Espresso Gallery. We have recently started to use the Espresso Gallery and too be honest, Mamoud and Ibrahim who serve there are absolute stars, they are always pleased to see us, are pleasant and welcoming. Nothing is ever too much trouble and the coffee is fabulous. I highly recommend Espresso Gallery, my granddaughter told us about it and I'm very glad she did. Thanks again guys, keep it up. 👏👏👏👏

Friendly, personable service from a family run business passionate about coffee. Square mile beans are the foundation of the best takeaway coffee I've found in Nottingham, but what makes it really special is Mahmood, Ibrahim a d the rest of the teams enthusiasm and skill. I always feel valued when I visit, they know my order by site, oatly Cappuccino and do the little extras that count like warming up my keepcup. The cakes and pastries are from local suppliers and I advise you NOT to leave without one of the oatmeal cookies. This is really worth traveling for, but don't go in a rush, you'll miss out on the charm and personality of The Espresso Gallery

One of the finer coffee experiences in Nottingham. A little bit off the beaten path, though. If you're in the town centre you're gonna have to walk for it! Real passion for good coffee, here. All ethically sourced. A nice little space for smaller scale cultural events and gatherings, also. Opportunity to buy bags of the coffee to take home, which is great.

If you are a coffee lover, then this is the place to come. The coffee is excellent, you won’t find better in my opinion. All coffee grinds are weighed and measured for the perfect pour, it’s beautiful. Some excellent handmade cakes and nibbles as well. The proprietor is a great guy very chatty and knowledgeable about his coffee. Treat yourself and visit..... 👍

Mahmud the owner and his son are wonderful, warm, welcoming people. Stunning works of art cover almost all available wall space, which adds an incredible atmosphere and a real feast for the eyes and soul. Mahmud also promotes regular music events in the cafe which are popular. Mahmud clearly has a sincere love for people and the arts, a passion which must also be evident through the coffee he curates and the cakes he creates. Well worth a visit.

Best coffee in Nottingham hands down

The place has many interesting aspects and has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The food on offer is small and good for a small snack stop, this place offers a selection of coffee, ice coffee, soft drinks and does a great vanilla milkshake. I chose to order an iced 3 shot espresso with a delicious grilled cheese toastie which I enjoyed greatly. The Cafe also has movie nights which, even though I haven't attended any, sound like a great experience. Now on to my personal favorite part of is the atmosphere, there is a beautiful gallery on the bottom floor which is filled with many amazing paintings, all with a different styles, some of which I have taken photos of for you to see. The atmosphere is great and is extremely comfortable, while seating is limited it doesn't affect the atmosphere at all. Then to add on to this it had an amazing garden filled with many plants and bees, this garden also has many mosaics which are an interesting and nice addition to the garden, which I have also left a picture for you to see, there is also outside seating in the garden. Overall this is a great place to come alone or with kids and family and I would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in art and who like to pop in for a coffee or have a nice relaxing sit down.

A little taste of East London. Dropped in here on the off chance and love the eclectic feel, warm welcome and genuinely different coffees. Wasn't sure if the coffee I chose would be sufficiently different given the price premium (of the one I chose) but it really was special. Felt like I was wine tasting, not drinking coffee!

The Espresso Gallery serves excellent coffee, smooth, delicious, high quality. Set up with atmospheric lighting, comfy seats, jazz music playing, attentive staff and walls adorned with interesting art.The proprietors have made a conscious effort to create an environment which encourages stimulating conversation in addition to hosting unique poetry and music events. On warm days the garden is a real treat - well worth a visit.

I happened across Espresso Gallery when driving through Nottingham and stopped because I liked the look of the outside.Before ordering any coffee I enjoyed having a chat with the proprietor – a very interesting man who’s passion for coffee is very evident.He is hugely knowledgeable about what he is selling and can go into as much depth as you want.The coffee is absolutely exceptional. I live in London where gourmet / craft coffee shops are ubiquitous and this was as good as anything I’ve tried.The cakes and savouries are all home made and delicious.There are a few seats upstairs, some more tables downstairs where there is art work on display, and a lovely garden out the back.The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the pricing is very fair.If you are in Nottingham and want a really good coffee I cannot recommend this place highly enough – brilliant coffee, unique shop & friendly environment.

I am from Melbourne which is often called ‘The Coffee Capital of the World’. I have never had a reason to disagree until I visited the UK and chanced upon this cafe.A great coffee can really put a smile on your face and this place had me grinning ear to ear.It’s the exact the opposite of generic but doesn’t just stand out because of the coffee. The staff show such an investment in giving the right experience too.An all round delightful place.

Not to mention a few sweet, caked treats to tickle those taste buds. Staff are exceptional, offering a space for conversation and interesting dialogue. Local art work also on display. Definitely worth a visit. Try the 'Mexicano' it won me over.
