Ephesus in Tamworth

Popped in tonight after searching for a good rating kebab shop. Ordered a large donner kebab and got the pitta version which I'm sure isn't the large one. They usually come on a Nan. £9.60 so not the cheapest small kebab I've ever had. Donner meat is lovely, good seasoning to it. Home-made chilli sauce is fantastic. Definitely a USP for this takeaway. I'm not a local so this was my first visit so I'm willing to give it another chance but if that was a large kebab then I'm an elephant. Food (kebab) rated a 4 because the donner meat was great quality but very greasy. Add that to the pitta bread portion for £9.60 is quite a let down. Borderline rip off. Service was a 4 be ause the girl behind the counter gave me a try of the Home-made chilli, which was helpful. Atmosphere 3 because it was empty and not really worth writing home about.

Popped in with my kids and ordered 2 large pizzas and chips. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Kids had a half and half pizza and I had mixed kebab pizza. Best pizza I've ever eaten, chips were really tasty ,kids loved their pizza .would definitely recommend

I had the special kebab asked for 3 pots of sauce , they sent 5 charged me 90 pence per pot , Total cost for one kebab and chips was £28.30 I was absolutely disgusted with this price , Couldn’t get it to add up to anywhere near the amount they had charged , After a lot of mmmm mmmm mmmm I was told that the delivery was £2.50 This still didn’t come anywhere near the £28.30 cost so it was mmm mmmm again, 50p handling charge , still wasn’t close to the £28.30 one kebab and chips cost , Was also told in between all the mmmm mmmmm that it’s what just eat charges and Uber eats ! Also that the cost of living has gone up , Nowhere in tamworth charge anywhere near this , Me and the missis have both eaten out at Fancy restaurants for cheaper than the cost of this , (With Drinks) Although the missis was on a diet , Buyers Beware this company is out to scam and rob and steal your hard earnt money ,

Food was OK, a couple of things they keep forgetting of our order, Delivery around an hour, drivers ring and asks to collect it from car park, no mate if I wanted to get dressed and walk outside I would of collected. I pay for delivery for a reason. Cheeky sod tried it twice, no tips for you!!

Had some good food from here before however portions have always been a bit stingy but never been overly fussed. Paid £8.20 for a large lamb shish kebab today which was ridiculously small and the meat was very poor quality ,very tough and grissly. I'm not greedy by any stretch but I'm not willing to give my money away for nothing. Upon phoning up to raise the issue I was told I was wrong and that the order was correct and it was 'large'. No effort to rectify the matter at all for a regular customer just a complete shut down over the phone. Not good business over a petty kebab which has cost two customers for life. Left feeling this place is poor value for money and the customer doesn't really matter.

Minor blip with the order. Manager was not helpful in the slightest but who ever he passed me onto was great. Would be 5 starts for the employees. Manager needs to learn customer satisfaction 👌 1 star down. Plenty dont mean 2 food taste lowly once you get what you ordered

I’ve ordered food from here for 2 years and it’s been very good . Last night they dropped me totally the wrong order and wouldn’t acknowledge that it was there fault and the woman on the phone was the rudest woman in the world! They eventually dropped me my order after numerous phone calls and arguments with the rude woman . Won’t be using again now

Ordered mixed kebab, consisting 9f chicken and donor. Usual sauces of chili and mint yogurt and a good portion of salad. A good choice and filling.

We have just had a selection of meals delivered to our house.I can honeatly say it was the best meal weve had for years.Everything freshly cooked and it was red hot when it arrived. Will certainly order from you again .Its really great to know we can order with confidence next time.Thank you .

Best place for kebabs etc in town. Delivery is always fast and their app for ordering is brilliant. I usually have delivery and when I did order online and chose to collect they phoned to check, just in case I’d hit the wrong button, Brilliant service.

Mediocre at best I have only been here a few times but the first times they didn't have what I wanted on the menu (even though advertised) and then today I ordered pizza and mozzie sticks, I had tochase after about 15 mins to check, then about another 10 mins on I chased again, was given mozzie sticks but pizza was clearly not in oven even though I chased twice..... Bad form

The kebabs are the simply the best in town, cooked over a flame grill. I've been coming here for 20+ years and whilst the pizzas have varied over time, the kebabs have remained consistently great.

Great service, great food, never had a bad meal. Their prices are pretty good too. Would 100% recommend.

Love the Chicken skewer kebabs from here, only gripe is the large one always use to be 2 x skewers but last few visits you only get 1 or 1.5 , not enough chicken for large kebabs, apart from this food is always good and my better half likes the pizzas

I can highly recommend the Mega Burger. 3 burgers in a bun. Only 5.50. Good food late at night and not too expensive. Good selection and nice food. Recommended.

Service was very good but food was ok at most and you can tell they use gas bbq's as it flavours the food so not good at all! Very disappointed!!

Ate here a few times, nice food normally however I was overcharged for another kebab despite reviewing my order so weren't too happy about that. Then the 4 kebabs were just like chewing on a leather boot strap. Never again

Ordered over £30 worth of food. When i went to pay they added on a delivery charge and a service charge. This is unacceptable especially when i have just ordered over £30 of food. Delivery fee when i live 10 minutes from you. And what is the service charge for? Wish i had just rang up and ordered would of saved me a couple of pound. Not ordering from here again

Just ordered 2 lamb shish kebabs from here and the were amazing.. food arrived early and was lovely and hot.. the nan was amazing and the lamb was cooked to perfection nice and juicy. I will be ordering from here again.

I work in a kitchen aswell. We maybe did some bad stuff, like not putting the right sauce, or combining meats and stuff, but we never did put hair in our foods. Guys....for real...i did not order hair in my pizza or in my kebab, i only order a Chicken supreme Pizza and a Chicken Doner Kebab, i wanted no salate, no onions or stuff like that, or something else, just a litle bit of garlic mayo, but you guys thought that adding ''hair sauce'' will be much more appreaciate then what i ordered. I apologize in the name of all the cookers and all the chefs and hand-chefs, but your deep-hair hole sucks.

Pizza's had a funny taste to them and the chips were a little disappointing as very greasy and thin!
