Went to go here and was closed, we spoke to man in shop opposite who told us it had been closed since the first lockdown in March and not reopened. He wasn’t sure when it would.

Took my amazing 87 year old mother here for her birthday with my partner. The place oozes history and character and we were so well looked after by genuinely lovely people. The food was incredible!! Beautifully prepared, amazing flavours. I had the NDUJA SALAMI & MOZZARELLA FLATBREAD which was just spicy enough for me. I had space left for a scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam and a cappuccino!!

Love it in here such a cosy little place and decor is so in keeping with the Bronte house . They were happy to accommodate us with changing options as we don’t eat meat & replaced with avocado for us also happy to adapt things for a 9 month old we had with us and had baby chair available when we arrived . I took my daughter and her friend to Emily's for an afterschool hot chocolate treat. I had a lovley coffee with a cannoli and the girls enjoyed shortbread and chocolate fudge cake. We sat in a cosy corner and thoroughly enjoyed our treats in a warm and inviting setting. The service was great, nothing was too much trouble for myself or the girls. The portion of chocolate cake was so big,the left overs were wrapped up to take home. Looking forward to visiting again and enjoying other delights on the menu. I would highly recommend.

Myself and my partner were planning a visit all week to the caffe and were very much looking forward to it. As we both work long days in the week we chose to go for a late afternoon coffee and cake. After checking the website and online on several occasion we saw that the caffe was open until 9:30pm on Friday’s. We got to the cafe at 16:15pm only to be greeted at the door by a gentleman saying aww we are closed. I then went on to say your website says 9:30pm, in reply he said yea I know but you see there is no food and I’ve got all these ladies here today so I’m too busy anyway. I said we are only wanting a drink and he said aww well I’m full and I’m not serving now. He also made some pathetic excuse about the pizza wagon bottom falling out. I found the service and welcome unacceptable. Not worth it at all, you are only welcome if you are one of a select few. Not happy at all.

Emily Bronte was a Yorkshire Lass.. Why on earth does this Cafe have an Italian Theme. This Cafe is quite small, seating is very tight as the seats are attached to the table. I struggled to seat comfortable and I'm a size 10. We ordered 2 coffees which were served in glasses on a wooden chopping board and 2 scones, again served on chopping boards. ODD.. Scones were on the bitter side, possibly to much baking powder or bicarb was added.

An authentic taste of Italy with a Yorkshire twist. Housed in the Bronte birthplace this small cafe is definitely worth dropping in if you're in the area or on your way to or from Haworth. It's mix of artisan surroundings and old Yorkshire terrace are genuinely charming and the food is as good as anything we had in Florence only the week before. I feel it would easily fit in Leeds city centre and if it was it would definitely get a lot more attention but it would also lose some of it's charm. We will definitely be back and would urge any fans of good food and coffee or the Brontes to visit too. The only drawbacks I could see were the black plastic price signs which in my opinion could be replaced with a small blackboard or slate which would have fit in better with the decor. Definitely recommended.

I ordered a flat bread with mozzarella and ndjua spicy sausage. I'm not daft, it came on a naan bread which was disappointing. My sister got a ploughman's lunch, it was okay but if you've had them from there in the past, this just did not compare and was not worth £10.50. I took my mum here for a Mother's Day treat. The staff are really friendly and cafe is absolutely gorgeous and has such a relaxed atmosphere. I loved the historical aspect as well. We ordered drinks and a main and the presentation was beautiful. We'll definitely be going back.

This is a great cafe, set in the wuthering heights of the Yorkshire moors, in the historic village of Thorton. We visited yesterday for a coffee after a blustery walk. It was unbelievably good. I have had thousands of capuccinos in my life but this was one of the best. We came back this morning for a tasty brunch. My wife Ann and I are on low carb diets but Carl - our host - adjusted the menu at once to give us a tasty and satisfying meal without the carbs. We ate in the very room the Brontë sisters - Charlotte, Anne and Emily - were born and raised as toddlers. Years later they went on to write some of the very best books in the English language. I never knew a simple meal could be so memorable.

Went there for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. Not a huge amount of choice on the menu but that didnt detract from it at all. The hirsute gentleman at the front desk was a star, very friendly and made us all feel that we were valued customers. Would recommend to anyone.

A beautiful feel to the place and obviously lovingly kept by the friendly and (historically) informative owner. Great coffee, a big nod to all things Italian (glass of water served with coffee) and delicious Italian pastries. You need to visit!
