Nice garden center and cafe, worth a visit; staff friendly and always helpful.

Lunch with friends. I had hotpot, not really a hot pot more like a stew. Potatoes, carrots & meat in a small casserol dish, served with beetroot & red cabbage plus a warm roll. Tasty, but grossly overpriced at £15.50!

Good Garden Centre with plenty of plants, bushes and trees. The indoor section has plenty of items including, Bird Food,Garden Tools, Garden Furniture, Cards, Orbanents and much more. Well worth a few hours.

Needed 6 MTs of turf ordered 11 am collected at 2pm (freshly cut turf good quality)

The thing that really let it down was the chips they tasted warmed up. Why can't you do fresh chips....is it too much to ask for.

Called in for drink and a cake and to get some plants. The food and drink were good. The two waitresses in the restaurant were really friendly and welcoming - a credit to the business. The staff in the garden centre were lovely too!

Called in for breakfast and I'm pleased to say that this is one of the very few places that understand the term 'eggs over easy'. Good food, pleasant staff and reasonably priced.

First time out with family after lockdown,we went for lunch,ordered a small breakfast,bacon was so hard it wouldnt go on my fork ,as was the sausage and blackpudding,we struggled through it because we were very hungry,when asked if all was ok we said no it wasn't ,the waitress said everything was cooked fresh but that certainly wasn't,spoke to the chef who said we were not to pay for the hot drinks but it was not about the money

We called in for lunch, I had the small All Day Breakfast which was ok and my wife have the bacon and brie which she liked. We also ordered sausage and mash for my son, the mash had no seasoning at all which I suppose I can sort of understand for a child's meal but perhaps some butter in the mash or it is just crushed potatoes. I asked for the fish goujons child's meal for my daughter to be make as a fish finger sandwich, the fish was very greasy and not very nice at all, to be fair they did remover this from the bill however we was charged £2 for the 2 slices of bread and £1 for an extra slice of toast for my breakfast. This is day light robbery in my opinion as the bread came to 10% of the total bill for lunch. The same as a lot of places, average food at high prices.

Best nursery I've seen in this area. Plants healthy well grown, obviously well cared for. selection of plant varieties also very good and priced well. Highly recommend.

Oh Dear Called here on Thursday 25/06/2020 and what a disaster,I took my mother for some bedding plants and we had to use her wheelchair because she is disabled and as we entered the ground was not for the disabled people because of the rough ground all the way through the place,anyway we chose some plants and I left my mother at the till area while I got a trolley and got the plants,we paid and then I pushed the wheelchair and pulled the trolley to the exit but the wheelchair got stuck in the drain and broke and not one member of staff helped in any way,two people came out to see what was wrong but too late the damage was done,we wouldn’t return again 😡

Have been many times in past, but for various reasons haven't been for while. But went on Saturday 13th June 2020, and what a wonderful surprise. Row after row of the most gorgeous plants, in fabulous condition, a range of types and brilliant colours. It was exactly what I wanted, and I bought a lot of bedding, and 2 super gorgeous, (and different style) hanging baskets. Just planted out the plants and they look stunning., hope to go again very soon!!

Visited today and bought some climbing roses, great quality and great price, Consider buying all your perennials from here. TOP TIP: for your annuals, try Taylor plant hire down the road and take them back at the end of the season

Visited today to buy a plum tree. Knowing nothing about plum trees we found a very helpful man who explained to us what type we needed and helped us choose the correct one. He was more than happy to offer advice (we were more than happy to accept) and hubby is now the proud owner of a plum tree.

Good quality plants, social distancing in place, with sanitizer for the trolleys & hands. Helpful staff, but obviously the restaurant was closed.

You cannot get better than Embleys, my parents used to go and I am a firm favourite of them, everything from plants to food to staff is superb, great value for money, quite alot of unique gifts also.

Very helpful staff. Currently they have limited opening and collection service.

We called in after visiting the garden Centre. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and furnished. Much nicer than a lot of garden centre cafes I have been to. The food was lovely with generous portion sizes. I had a fish finger sandwich which was superb. We’ll definitely call in again.

The food and decor here is a cut above the average garden centre cafe. It’s a good location for a special meal out when you don’t want a pub meal or expensive restaurant. The decor is smart, staff friendly, very clean toilets. Great food

This was my first time visiting Embleys with my daughter and granddaughter. Lovely little garden centre, got some Christmas tree ornaments and then went into the cafe/restaurant area. It is beautifully set out, and spotless (until my 1 year old granddaughter had most food on the floor) . The staff were lovely and friendly and nothing was a trouble. We had sandwiches and the quality of them was super. We left feeling very full. I am definitely going to drag my husband there for a good meal. Thank you.

Just driving past this morning when I noticed this garden centre & coffee shop so decided to call in. What an absolute delight, the restaurant was fresh and spotlessly clean and although it was only 11am I was surprised at the number of people eating there - always a good sign.Their special weekday breakfast menu (available up to 11:30) was excellent value for money; the food was cooked to perfection and served on lovely stoneware dining service. It came with tea, which was presented in a lovely teapot with a jug of fresh milk. 3 cups from the pot and I was well refreshed.The staff were really well presented, friendly & attentive, if you are looking for somewhere special to visit whilst out for the day you won't be disappointed. Well done.

Visited for first time for a brew and a cake. My scone was tasty with nice jam and cream accompanied by a good strong pot of tea.

our last visit was average. staff aren't as engaged with customers, food is always good but we found the soup an acquired taste.

called Sunday lunch, my wife and I both ordered kiche, my wife a bacon one and I chose a broccoli and stilton, mine was just above frozen in the middle and I pointed this out, the waiter took it away and it was later brought back saying that they had warmed it up, I am sorry but to bring back a meal that was partly eaten is completely unacceptable because the first thing that would have happened when it was taken back into the kitchen would be that they would have tested it with their fingers, if I had been brought a fresh meal, I would have eaten it, anyway I said I didn't want it . my wife partly ate hers , but was obviously put off by my experience. when I went to pay I was told there was no charge, but what else could they do, will we be going back, ? draw your own conclusion.

This is a restaurant situated within the nursery that offers far higher standards than might be expected from a garden centre. Lots of choices with home made meals as well as delicious desserts and cakes at affordable prices in a restful tastefully decorated environment .Great to combine with a shopping visit and the chance to buy beautiful locally grown plants

Only ever been for breakfast but that has always been good and the service both friendly and efficient. Prices are not the cheapest but the overall quality means that they are good value. Would not hesitate to return.

great stopping spot for refreshments after a walk/ wander round the garden areas- but the restaurant meals also looked worth a go- we had not thought about that so had already organised a meal. Will think about a full meal next time in the area. Staff were welcoming and efficient.

This is one of the best garden centre restaurant around.... food and staff are excellent. Can get busy so booking is worth while.

Four of us called in for a quick lunch yesterday, after walking the dogs. First of all, the good points. The staff were very friendly and the dogs were allowed in the eating area outside the restaurant. But... One of our group chose the chicken quiche, because the other two quiches contained cheese, and of course, was served the goats cheese one! Luckily, the goats cheese could be lifted off in one piece, but it didn't help the lack of chicken. I had asked for a pot of tea to be served WITH my meal, but we had to go and ask for it, as it seemed to have been forgotten. The big disappointment of the meal was the size of what they called a large fish and chips (£12.00!!!) I've never seen such a small piece of fish. (Note to manager: Go to Barton Grange or Owd Nells and see how it should be done) PS. I have 325 reviews on Google Maps, and about 300 of them are positive, so I am fairly easy to please.

I had not been here before but the other 2 in our party told me how lovely it is and I wasn’t disappointed. There was a VERY long traffic delay approaching the restaurant, we didn’t find out why but the waitress new about it when we rang to say we were going to be late and I think all the diners arrived at the same time but the waitresses handled us latecomers really well. Very helpful chatty young ladies attended to us and the food delicious.

beautiful restaurant - arrived early so only one other customer in. surprised the breakfasts arrived in dishes instead of a plate but soon tucked in and enjoyed the meal. friendly staff and grand-daughter enjoyed her "small" breakfast!

We arrived to a warm welcome,pleasant staff,and nice clean and modern surroundings.The food fish cakes on a bed of spinach and suet puddings and chips were tasty. Well presented and reasonably priced.I cannot fault this bistro and will return.

Think the food is probably ok in general but disappointed with the choice I made - hot steak and gravy ciabatta - why would you put hot gravy inside a piece of bread! Very soggy!

Visited lunch time. Was so loud inside, sat outside, much quieter. Had myshrooms on toast and cake, friend had crab balls. Service brilliant, friendly and efficient. Lovely restrooms.

What a pleasant surprise when we walked in to this restaurant. First and foremost the place was clean and decorated with a quiet taste. The staff were attentive and friendly and the menu was good with a large choice of food. We enjoyed our meal very much and look forward to returning to enjoy yet another lunch. Many thanks to the staff.

We have been to Archers a few times and had no problems but today the food was very good as usual ,however the service was dire. I know they were busy but with five members of staff at front of house the service was un-organised and very poor. The system seemed to be that anyone showed you to your table and then forgot about you. The lady dressed in black was the only one that was taking orders and serving food as well. This was the bottle-neck as the other staff were `busy` clearing tables and serving food. A very lack-lustre performance .

Big portions, tasty food, friendly staff, reasonable prices for what you get (I mean I'm living in Russia atm where everything is half the price but still for England it's good). Nice, pleasant atmosphere. Will return again.

Excellent & enjoyable Afternoon Tea. Surprisingly this included a small tasty soup! Sandwiches, scone with jam & cream, cake & 2 small deserts followed. Pot of tea or coffee included. Served by courteous staff in the centre of the table so no waiting involved. Non meat eaters may need to specify before hand for sandwich fillings. Frequent visitors to the excellent garden centre but first time in the restaurant. Will visit again & recommend to others.

Small nursery so don't expect to spend a lot of time there. Outdoor plants are good but not a great choice of fancy goods although the card selection is lovely. Mainly go to access The Arches Restaurant which is excellent.

So everyone seemed to be eating at The Archers within Embley's garden center and saying how nice it was and we decided to see what all the fuss was about.
