Top take-away. Super friendly and great food done fast.

This is a very good takeaway, we tried several dishes which were all good. We were pleasantly surprised as we were new to the area and this was our first visit. The seafood soup was especially good. Would highly recommend .

Whilst on Xmas break we grabbed a take out. Not very easy to park outside . Great service . The food was excellent. The portions were really big and tasty . The mixed starter was very tasty but the chow mein and the sweet and sour -were the best we’d had We went back later with friends who also enjoyed

Very pleasant welcome and helpful attitude. Guided us to the nearest cash point as there is still no card payment. Fast service, free dish from a previous cocked up order. Really nice food, hot, tasty and very generous portions. All in all just what we wanted.

Wife came in with a big order, 4 lots of what supose to be chips with our meal, most over cooked likea crisp some undercooked, coated in seaweed???? Chicken balls under cooked and pink in the middle. Beef strips, we asked for no chill.... they put extra in..... paid to put food in the bin!!! Go somewhere else is my advice for this place.....

I live local to this Chinese and it's one of three to choose from. This evening we ordered vegetable fried rice and special fried rice, both of which were absolutely delicious! Also ordered 2 portions chips and curry sauce all of which was lovely and hot. Really can't fault it.

Lovely food, large portion sizes and very helpful/friendly staff. On holiday in the area, highly recommend Chicken Chow Mein and Special Curry! Thank you

Excellent food, generous portions. Be aware that they often close early. I have been turned away numerous times when I have visited within stated opening hours...disappointed about this!!!

Had to wait well over 2 hours for takeaway which they only told us of the delay when we came to pick it up. Food was very good but not worth the wait. No real explaiation given. Shame as it was a nice chineese otherwise.

Looking for a chinese take away in the area as we were passing through. Wide choice, and clearly popular with the locals - always a good sign! Certainly ticked our boxes - good food, good service and quick. Made a mental note of this place for future - it's well placed for trips that involve crossing the Menai staits... And worth the detour from Bangor.

Rang on Wednesday 7th to make an order as it says online they’re open, was rudely told after the 3rd ring they are shut and hung up. Ended up trying the Chinese takeaway around the corner instead and will stick to that one in future. Would recommend making sure your advertised opening and closing times are correct.

Very extensive menu and something for everyone ... we did takeaway and not delivery. Food was still very hot as is very well wrapped.

Travelled from Manchester for a long weekend on Anglesey. Decided we want a Chinese takeaway for one of the nights. One of the best we've had, possibly better than what we've had in Manchester. Recommended...

Really good Chinese lovely family run business.

Ordered 2 vegetarian dishes - tofu with black bean sauce and veg chow mein. Got home and opened up the food to see beef in the chow mein. Completely unacceptable, it takes 2 seconds to double check an order. Imagine if someone had an allergy and a similar mistake was made. We threw the food out so was a complete waste of money. Shame, had previously eaten there and the food was nice but have no faith in what I'd be eating if I ordered from there again.

Curry tastes very sweet also way too thick and the beef is slimy, such a shame becouse i used to love the curry from here.

Very easy to order food and it was cooked very quickly. Portion sizes are large and everything tastes fresh and delicious. Great place for Chinese and also fish and chips!

Came here for holiday and we have to say it was the usual British Chinese style but very tasty indeed and huge portions for us, very tasty!

Nice takeaway. Not salty. Polite staff when ordering on the phone. Nice wide selection of food on the menu. Spring rolls could have been slightly better.

Food was pretty bad. Asked for satay chicken skewers, received just normal satay chicken instead. Deep fried crispy beef was possibly the worst I’ve ever had, completely tasteless. Also the chicken in the chow mein tasted almost as if it had been boiled, horrible slimy texture. All in all, rubbish. I take it from the previous reviews however this must’ve been a one off.

Best Chinese on Anglesey! Iv only recently discovered this gem! The food is outstanding, the sweet and sour pork is so good! The Bbq ribs are the best iv ever had! And the chicken and mushroom was so tasty! Very generous portions also Good value for money! I would highly recommend this takeaway, if you like good tasty food then this place ticks all the boxes! We 6 family members shared a variety of dishes, all were really good . My 75 year old dad said it was the best Chinese food he had ever had. We would all recommend the food from here, no complaints from anyone, only compliments....

Food is excellent. Shop looks run down and isn't inviting hut can't argue with the food. Yum.

Our favourite Chinese in North Wales, I have tried many of their dishes as we are fairly local, and enjoyed all, My partner and our kids are vegetarian and they enjoy the Tofu Satay also the Szechwan. Great value for money and very friendly. Highley recommended.

The portions are generous and the king prawns are especially large and succulent. Also enjoyed the lemon chicken breast and the crispy shredded beef.

Very nice, good value for money.. scored 7.5/10 main meal chicken chow mein.. could of done with some salt. Was very bland in taste.. spring roll was slightly burnt and had an unusual taste. And seaweed was very sweet.. member of staff was friendly.. and was a busy outlet.. but waited approx 15 mins. And did get free bag of prawn crackers.. will visit again if in the area..

Ordered the sharing platter in the appetizer section for 2.. £10 Prawn toast- greasy Taste. Couldnt really taste the Prawn.. Seaweed.. very very sweet. Spring Roll.. burnt and tasted unusual.. Bbq ribs had 3 good sizes 1 tiny piece.. Ton won ok.. almost perfect Main chose the Chicken Chow Mein.. Noodles very bland needed some salt.. .. Overall good Portion Size.. Good Prices.. value for money.. Quick and friendly service.. scored 7.8 out of 10.. will deffo go back.. Got free bag of prawn crackers.. worth the visit.. large selection to choose from the menu..

Had the salt and pepper box and special fried rice. Food was amazing. Service was excellent. Was a little more expensive than our take away back home, so expect to pay more! But great value and good food.

Had Singapore noodles.Quite good,large portion but no chicken in it and lots of spam? Noodles were greasy and not very punchy.Should have chilli in them and a taste of cumin,all of this made them quite bland

Always so good, lovely family and scrummy food

Had a takeaway last night and found it unexceptional. Crab and sweet corn soup made with “crab” sticks and the onions in the king prawn main courses comprised pretty tough skins. Nice side dish of mixed vegetables.

I went to this takeaway during the menai bridge fair because it was pouring outside. The boy in the counter was very kind toward me and his mother greeted me. I ordered Roast Pork with Fried Rice and it was given to me in 5 minutes. The portion was large and the price was only £5. It also stayed warm for 45 minutes. Would definitely come again!

We ordered three main meals all king prawn based. King Prawn fried Rice, king prawb chow Mein and King prawn mushroom plus egg fried rice. Super delicious. Right portion for family of three -sharing is caring ;). Super fast service. We opt for pick up. Just make sure to being cash, they dont take card payments.

We ordered two meals and one starter to share. It is no exaggeration to suggest it could have fed four people, the portion sizes were enormous and the food was fresh and tasty. I would recommend the chicken chow mien and the beef in a black bean sauce.

Had the vegetarian chow mein here twice recently. Generous portions, very tasty, good value for money. Lovely people working here too and polite always and food ready very quickly.

I was recommended to this take away. Having ordered on the phone my food was ready after 10 minutes. The beef in szechuan sauce was outstanding and big enough for two if you had rice and maybe a starter to share. This is the best take away in the area. The menu is vast and you can check it on their face book page. I will return Soon.

Came here tonight only because the Chinese I usually use was closed and I fancied some Chinese. I'm glad I came here. Elegant Chinese is now officially my favourite takeaway. The food was delicious. I had the sweet and sour chicken and egg fried rice, Food was hot and there was plenty of it The young man who served me was helpful and polite. I'll definitely be back for more.

My partner and I regularly visit Elegant, John and Janice are always welcoming and chatty. Wechave had a widecvariety if dishes off the menu and are yet to be disappointed. By far the best Chinese food in the area.

This has to be one of my favourite takeaways on Anglesey! The food is lovely & at a good price! Really cannot complain!

It’s been 8 years since they’ve open and look they are the best chinese in the area. Economical, fast, tasty food and excellent customer service. The young lad at the counter is phenomenal in handling demand and making people feel comfortable. COME HERE YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED

Was quite disappointed with the takeaway next door ‘HO WAH’ so I decided to give Elegant a try and holy smokes I do not regret it, the food had on point flavouring and at a on point price, it was really filling and the young lad at the counter was very pleasant giving me all sorts of joy and laughter I would definitely be back next time!

We stopped for simply a bag of chips and were not disappointed as they tasted great. There was'nt many people in the take away but it was late lunch time and we were glad it was open

The salt and pepper chicken wings didn’t disappoint and we were so glad we ordered two portions. The main dishes are larger than most takeaways so expect leftovers! The young lad and his mum were very friendly. If you cannot tolerate MSG, do check before you order like we did and they will accommodate you. We will be back when we are next in the area!

After reading poor reviews of local chippies we decided to try this Chinese on the first night of the holiday after a long drive. Great food, all the usual favourites, huge portions, tasty and hot. Quick service after phoning in the order. Good value, well worth a visit.

Good family run take away . Lovely fresh chips . Gorgeous lemon chicken . Friendly service . I was a few minutes late picking up telephone order (due to traffic) and Chef Mum prepared a fresh batch of chips in case the food would be cold by the time i got home. Excellent service.

A basic Chinese, the staff are always very helpful and pleasant, and the food is yummy! Hmmm, now I want a meal!

Arrived in Menai on Friday afternoon & once family had arrived phoned to order meal then drove to collect it. It was superb very fresh & tasty and generous portions, great value for money as well. We intended to get another meal on the Wednesday but due to flooding couldn't get there a great disappointment.

Had a fabulous selection of dishes for the family to share & we all agreed it was one of the best Chinese we'd ever eaten.

Staying near by for a couple of nights and decided to stay in and get a takeaway. We had the choice of 2 chinese takeaways and this was the first one so took a chance on it. So glad we did the food was excellent. Lad behind the counter was chatting away about life things in general, made the wait for the food very interesting my husband enjoyed his chat with him.

We ordered five meals and a couple of starters. It was excellent value and loads of choice. I was a little put off by the lad who took our order, he was rather abrupt on the telephone. Apart from that I would definitely recommend the food. The chicken in orange was spot on!

Had numerous Chinese takeaways over the years but this easily ranks amongst the best. Easy ordering over the phone and great chat with the son of the owners at front of house. He's a great ambassador for the place. Deals with customers well but knows when he needs to get help. Food was wonderful. Tasty, not overly salty. Meat was plentiful and lean. Salt and pepper sharing box was excellent with lovely flavour. Would definitely recommend.
