Elaine's Tearoom in Lancaster

I’ve stopped off here a few times previously but I’m sad to say , I was disappointed. The coffee was weak and lacked taste while the the Bakewell tart was also lacking in flavour - there were no almonds . This was left on the plate

Welcoming tea room after a long hike. Lovely staff and perfect hot chocolate. Pretty decor, stunning photos and local paintings on the walls. Facilities clean. Can recommend. They are open till 16.30 seven days a week.

Got recommended this place at the weekend. Thought I’d give it a try. Great cafe. Got the fish and chips and they were spot on. All home cooked. Delicious. Staff were friendly and efficient. Will definitely be going back next time I’m over that way. Thanks for a great service.

Excellent visit for lunch There were eight of us and cafe was busy but we were served quickly and efficiently by friendly staff. Simple meals e.g eggs and chips but very tasty. Ample parking in adjacent farm yard. Very reasonable prices Will certainly visit again

Called on Christmas eve to collect pre-booked take away Christmas Lunches. Took home, re-heated on Christmas day, and we both thought it was excellent - tasty, ample, and easy - saved a lot of work and was as good as creating it ourselves. We felt it represented very good value for money.

Disappointed with breakfast, the bacon seemed to be deep fried and was hard. The sausage tasted cheap. Egg was overcooked. For the price I expected a much higher standard. The service was good and the cakes looked lovely and I would certainly go back for coffee and cake. A little gem of a place in a lovely setting. Such a shame about the breakfast.

We’ve been to Elaine’s for a bite to eat several times but this was our first visit for Sunday lunch. It was very busy so I’m glad we booked (recommended for a Sunday). We both ordered the roast beef dinner which was exceptional. Lovely home cooked grub. We had room for a sweet so I had lemon cheese cake and my wife had plumb crumble. All washed down with a generous pot of Yorkshire tea and we had a take out of cake for later.

What a little gem this place is. If you're walking nearby, be sure to drop in. Remarkable range of food available and it all looked fantastic.

Have been here a few times on our walks for cake and tea,today we had a roast for four followed by dessert, it was the best Sunday roast we have had anywhere ,plentiful and the beef was spot on ,and it was reasonably priced so 10 out of 10 from us .

Just visited Elaine's and enjoyed a lovely homemade cheese and onion quiche with homemade chips and salad. The waiting staff were really attentive. Great value for money, will definitely return 👍

We've been aware of Elaine's Tea Rooms for a little while as a friend at our Caravan Park visits quite a bit - but we had no idea where either it, or Feizor was - weirdly, having driven past so many times on our way to Settle or Skipton! But on a chance drive out one evening we found Feizor, and subsequently also found Elaines Tea Rooms (after closing time). Feizor is a teeny farming Hamlet in the countryside so very easy to miss and accessible via a small single track road. We paid the Tea Rooms a visit today and were seated immediately, we were only after a light bite so went for a toastie with chips - they're hand cut chips and were absolutely amazing - just like mum used to make! Everything about this tea room is traditional, even the tea, served with an additional pot of boiling water to top up the pot. Service was fantastic, so quick and attentive - you feel looked after as an individual, rather than as a table that needs turning. We topped off our visit with a Scone with Jam & Clotted Cream - there's quite the selection of Scones, all baked on site and as a result WARM! The place is popular with walkers, but there is a small car park opposite - if you fancy a bit of a walk, park in nearby Austwick and hot-foot it across the fields (footpaths of course), and you'll soon fall upon this little gem in the beautiful countryside. I can't recommend Elaine's enough, we really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back!

We live Elaine's, our first meal out since the lockdown began and we felt safe and comfortable. All the measures required taken care of in this crazy world! Go for breakfast and you'll be fueled for the full day! In a cute little hamlet and on nice days the outside seating is great!

First time visit to Elaines tearoom in the hamlet of Feizor and we will definitely return. The food and service were first class, with an extensive choice of delicious home made food....the desserts were especially gorgeous!

This was our first visit to Elaine's and we were really impressed by the great home-style cooking on offer. A huge array of delicious looking cakes and desserts greeted us as we entered, which certainly whetted our appetite for what was to come. We visited for Sunday lunch and most of our group opted to sample the beef roast dinner, which was delivered with additional gravy and a good selection of vegetables. Despite the generous portions, this soon vanished and was declared to be delicious! The steak and ale pie was also sampled - again a generous portion supplemented by beautifully crispy chips. We enjoyed the informal cafe atmosphere and the efficient and friendly service we received. What is more, all this came at great value for money. Full marks all round! The cafe was very busy so if you intend to visit, it's probably best to book in advance.

So after getting recommendations from a colleague, we decided to call at Elaine's tea rooms on our way to Arnside.... The all day breakfast was to die for... The best I've ever had.No grease left on the plate and beautifully cooked. My wife had the smaller portion. We go to Arnside every 2-3 months and will ensure Elaine's becomes part of our regular journey. An absolute hidden gem!!!

What a gem of a place. Such lovely staff even the youngsters. Gets very busy. Lots of outside seating as well as inside. Perfect for walkers and cyclists.

Beautiful location, and really good food at very good prices... and real mushy peas....I was on a quest in Yorkshire to find real mushy peas... most places use tinned mushy pease :( but here they are the real deal... fish and chips were tasty too....

Great selection of seating. Food menu ranges from bacon butties to homemade cheese pie (very tasty!). A great stop on a walk or otherwise.

We went to the tearoom for lunch as part of a Settle Falconry experience. It was lovely. Great sausage bap and great cake! All the staff were lovely and there was a cosy welcome on a chilly day
