Delicious food. Food was served quickly. We all ordered different items off the menu and no one left disappointed. Excellent service.

My partner and I order from here now and again and every single time, it hits the nail on the head in every aspect. The food is always hot and of exceptional quality, bursting with flavour and authenticity so hats off to the team who work hard to bring these dishes to life. Credit also to the delivery personnel who always arrive promptly and are always so polite at the door. Soon, we aim to dine in the restaurant in person to achieve a full experience. So, if you're in the St. Clears area and fancy Indian food, make this place your first choice. Highly recommended from me!

Woefully disappointed. Visited for my birthday. Was excited to visit after reading about the curry awards. We spent 4 months eating our way around India and we often cook curries at home. I've been vegetarian for 27 years and I feel like the chef made no effort. My chana puree was dry and plain and the paneer special was virtually inedible, lacking flavour and substance with frozen veg. The 2 waiters were breathing down our necks and the manager/owner had his feet up behind the counter. The loo's were what you'd expect in a grotty pub. Such a shame, won't be returning.

Appalling delivery service. Twice recently we have experienced issues with deliveries on one occasion it was 1/2 hour late with no apology and on the second occasion an order was placed for 1830 and still no sign of it at 20.30. Called them twice and had two conflicing stories told to me. Appalling service.

Visited for my dad's birthday, the food was incredible! Only minor negative point was that the service was a bit slow. The restaurant wasn't very busy, there were only 3 other tables eating besides us, but it did take some time for food to come to us. They were training new staff at the time so that may have been a factor.

Really disappointed, staff were lovely but the curry's lacked so much flavour, maybe im spoilt being from Leicester. Had the chicken spinach byriani, the rice and sauce were watery and lacked any flavour, no amount of salt would lift it, the pershwari naan was nice. Madras was same base gravy as biyriani just with lots of chilli powder, wasn't great at all

The nicest curry we have ever had from beginning with poppadoms and dips, to the end with coffees. I can understand why they have won awards. We all ordered different dishes which we all shared and tucked into. None of them disappointed. It was all extremely flavoursome and all had lovely thick sauces. I'd go as far as to say they were divine. I'm not sure why some reviewers have said theirs were watery. Perhaps they were unlucky. We've lived around the world so have eaten many curries cooked by different cultures. In the UK we've also had them in Leicester, Bradford, Cardiff, Manchester, and around London including the curry mile. We much preferred ours here to anywhere else we've experienced. The staff were lovely and very attentive and the service was quick. All-in-all, it was perfect and we can't wait to go back. Thank Elaichi!

Absolutely divine food and the special for £15 is just ridiculous for the money. I adore this restaurant and have never have a bad meal. The chefs will add extra garlic, or spinach etc to a dish! Highly highly recommended and thoroughly deserved of the awards. Thank you Team Elachi

I recently dined at the award-winning Indian & Bangladeshi restaurant in Carmarthen, Wales, and the experience was nothing short of disappointing. I ordered Chicken Biriyani, which lacked salt and flavor. When I voiced my concern, the server dismissively claimed that's how it's served, leaving me with no choice but to discard the dish. The Chicken Roganjosh was an entirely different letdown – the delivered dish bore no resemblance in looks, taste, or flavor to authentic Roganjosh. Living between London and Birmingham, where Indian & Bangladeshi cuisines thrive, this restaurant's performance is baffling. I question the standards of the awarding bodies that label such establishments as top-notch; the food here was simply pathetic. I won't be recommending this place to anyone seeking a genuine and satisfying culinary experience. Disappointed..

Took Mrs Davies to Kaowood for a hot tub weekend, it’s her birthday after all. Anybody that knows Kaowood knows how remote the area is, didn’t fancy the trek into St Clears on Friday night so looked for a take away delivery that would turn up… cue Elaichi Ordering online was easy and hassle free and I booked the delivery for 6:45pm that night fully expecting a phone call asking me to meet them at reception but no, at 6:55 pm there’s a knock on the door, there’s our delivery! Bonus points right there. The food? Absolutely delicious and well prepared, I’d ordered us far too much food as per usual but somehow it all vanished, it was so tasty! Unusual item on the menu? Crab! Don’t think I’ve ever seen crab listed at an Indian restaurant before so we had to try it, fantastic by the way. Thank you Elaichi for the perfect food and the superb delivery service, we’ll be back soon and maybe we’ll sit in next time

Having recently moved to the area we decided to try, first time was disappointing watery curry and dry chicken, few months later we decided to try again, same if not worse.. chips cold and bit hard like stale rice was bland and curry was also bland honestly how they operate a restaurant is beyond me you'd get better taking food from the supermarket seriously don't waste your money if you enjoy food!

On a wet & windy evening, we arrived in St. Clear weary & hungry. We found this restaurant, not sure initially, but once we stepped inside the welcome was very warming & genuine. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, the naan was one of the best we'd had, as we're the dips, and the lamb meat was super tender & tasty! We obviously timed it just right as it was filling up whilst we were there & that was on a Sunday evening.

Very disappointed in our meal here. The curry was tasteless and watery, rice was ok, the peshwari naan was burnt and didn't have enough of the coconut flavouring so might as well have been a plain naan.

Went with my elderly mother & teenage son, early on a Saturday evening, very busy, lots of takeaway's & people in the restaurant, service was just on the slow side from taking to the order to serving the food & even getting the bill. Food was ok just above average not spectacular, will probably return as it's local but need to factor in the time required.

Best avoided. Waited almost two hours for an online delivery, chased up twice to get told it would be with us "in half an hour". Eventually an assortment of overpriced tepid mediocrity was delivered.

We are local and we visit this restaurant quite regularly. with friends. A couple of weeks ago we had to leave this restaurant due to very poor service, Tonight we decided to give it the benefit of the doubt - how wrong were we When we received the food it was great but we literally live 2 minutes down the road - this restaurant would not last 2 months if it was based in a big city. When you complain directly the staff do not care a jot. Seriously living in the country they we have to deal with really poor service and just have to live with it. City dwellers would not accept this

The food itself is nice, However! Their timings are absolutely abysmal!! I am writing this review from my current experience but i have heard many others with the same experience including from my own parents and their friends! I ordered a £65 order and was told there was an hour and a half wait. 2 hours later we are still waiting, i phoned back just to check on the order and was told (in fairness a lovely lady) that it was “just leaving”. 15 minutes later we are still waiting- we live 2 minutes up the road… My mother has then phoned to check on the ETA and then was told then it was being boxed up and would take about 10 minutes. We are; as i write this- are sill waiting, it is now 21:00. I reiterate we are located very local. If you are looking for a quick bite i would not recommend however if you order very early and are not bothered by a 2+ hour wait. Its ok. My family and I personally will not be ordering from them and waiting 2+ hours for ok food.

I rang and placed a takeaway order at 7.15pm it was for five meals from the back of the menu totalling over £63 . Your very pleasant lady said that our order would not be ready for an hour and a half, not ideal but we agreed that this was ok. My husband arrived promptly at 8.45pm to collect our order and waited and waited until 9.30pm for our order to be ready (forty five minutes)! During that time it was quite obvious to him that many other orders for delivery were taking priority. When my husband finally arrived home at 9.50pm we were of course starving and very much looking forward to our dinner. Well having been a customer for over 8 years I have to say that it was probably the worst meals we have ever had from you. The vegetable curries were tasteless, the prawn korma was watery, the prawns were nonexistent and what there was tasted gritty! The chicken tikka korma was also watery and very much lacking flavour. Half of the meals I am sad to say ended up in the dustbin. I have always recommended your restaurant and food to all I know and also visitors to the area, sadly I won’t be doing this anymore. I am assuming that you were overwhelmed with orders, with sauces having to be watered down to cope with demand. I did write to you Sunday and have yet still had no response…..again very sad.

Friendly service, good size portions, tasty dishes

We were staying in a really remote farmhouse and ordered a take away to be delivered form these guys. Not only did they pick up our order, which was great because of where we were staying, but the food was delivered a full 30 minutes earlier than we had expected. The food itself was excellent and the portions were really generous! I would 100% recommend these guys.

Amazing freshly cooked food in plentiful quantities. Can’t recommend this place enough, my daughter wanted a celebration meal to celebrate a driving test pass in Carmarthen, and Elaichi did not disappoint . Thank you Elaichi for making a memorable day even more amazing!

They don’t let you park in their parking. Made us move our cars. Starters were decent. Rest of the food was below average. Naans were not cooked properly. Had to send back twice then they came back burnt. Service was average and very pricy food. Won’t go again. Sorry

We always try to find good food when on holiday. After reading about the 'awards' this place had won we had no hesitation. However having eaten there we are totally confused about these 'awards'. Service was good. Price was cheap which maybe should have told us something. My chat aloo starter was bland. My wifes garlic mushroom starter was a pile of fried onions with a few slices of mushroom, and a heap of burnt, bitter garlic - not nice. The mains were equally bland. Are the volume of spices used reduced to keep the price base down? Finally the onion, garlic, and coriander naan - i feel sure had none of those things in it. After high expectations we left totally confused. We got this one wrong.

Arrived late without booking. Made very welcome and had an excellent meal. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Phoned order at 6.30,told it would be 30-35 minutes.Fair enough..but couldn't hear the member of staff on phone,he came across quite rude to be honest. Turned up around 7.10pm..waited,waited,waited.Couple of the staff smiled at me sympathetically walking back and forth to kitchen to retrieve food...

A truly delightful dining experience. Great access for anybody with mobility issues such as my mother in law. Hosts were fast and courteous and the food was absolutely superb. Freshly prepared and hot to the table. An extensive,but clearly written menu. Gluten free available. There is some parking on the street outside the restaurant. But if you can't find a space there is a public car park next to the doctor surgery which is only a few yards from the restaurant. We will definitely be visiting again soon for the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

We called in for a take away 630 on Sunday and the restaurant had several people which is a good sign , easy to order and friendly staff and very nice food thanks

Incredible service and amazing food. One of the best meals we've had in a long time, honestly can't fault it.

The food was good, given 4 stars for service, because we asked an extra naan after placing intial order but we had been told by the waiter that kitchen was closed. Normally, in any restaurant, before they close the kitchen, the waiter should at least come and ask if we wanted to order anything else before closing the kitchen. The restaurant was a bit cold apart from that atmosphere pretty good.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant, 9 of us came for a meal and we're so happy to say it was absolutely perfect, the food was spot on, and the staff are really friendly and welcoming, we'll definitely come back here again when we come back on our holidays x thank you so much x

Asked for a shatkora !! Traditional Bengali cuisine not on the menu , they made it and although not the normal choice (pathia) the lamb shatkora was very good ! Was extremely impressed with their food and friendly staff !! Thank you guys for an awesome service

Overnight stay at the travelodge in St Clears. Found this gem of a indian. Booked enroute. Very busy when we arrived. Great varied menu. Service was very good. The food very good.

Only got a takeaway, which, to be fair, took a fair time to prepare - I was waiting for roughly 50 mins to collect. But the food was delicious and would certainly have no quarms about returning.

Booked as a table of 15 for a colleagues leaving meal, the restaurant is our colleagues favourite place to eat. The table was booked for 6pm, all parties had arrived by 6:15. Food orders were not taken until close to 7:30pm. Less than half of...

If i could have left no stars I would have . My wife and I had a table booked for 8.15pm unfortunately by 9.30pm are food had still not arrived ! Despite my wife asking after 45 mins and being reassured our food was being cooked. Apparently our order never reached the kitchen. Attitide of serving staff even after their error came to light was rude and unapologetic. We left without getting our food and wont return .

We ordered a takeaway from Elaichi this evening. They have a great online ordering system, and a huge menu to choose from! It was absolutely effortless choosing and ordering food on the web. You can either choose to pay online, or in person once you collect (which is really convenient)! The food took about 40 minutes to be prepared (a little longer than the suggested 30 minutes online), but it was well worth the wait. We ordered 4 different mains between us, and each one was absolutely delicious - you can't fault the food. It really did taste fresh, and it was all absolutely piping hot. I highly recommend Elaichi for food, and I look forward to eating inside the restaurant in the future.

Only my second visit, and there are so many interesting things on the menu I want to try. I had a biriani this time, plus tastes of my wife's duck kochi, and an amazing chicken shakuti my son had. I will definitely be back to try something different again.

On the plus side the food was very nice and the staff friendly. On the downside they were short staffed and prioritised people waiting for takeaways over those dining in. 2hrs 15 minutes for two courses.

Amazing experience! Starter was huge, filled with prawns 🍤, and Naan was tender. Ordered Tandoori mixed grill, chicken was something out of this world. Deserts was full of flavour, absolutely brilliant. Staff made sure we had everything we need, and was so helpful in accommodating our requests!

A really good place to eat. The food was good and the service. All four of us had something different and thoroughly enjoyed what we had. The price was reasonable. The only suggestion we all would make is that there us a sharing platter for the starter. Maybe part vegetarian and part meat. We were very much aware that the main meal was going to be filling but wanted to experience the starter. Overall, a great evening out with friends at a reasonable prices.

Honest opinion - It's an award winning restaurant so the rest of the competition must have been bloody awful, and this place is below average. The menu is very extensive my food was served hot and well spiced which I liked. Clean and tidy but lacking atmosphere.

Heard such a lot about this place, decided to give it a try. Food was your usual Bangladeshi fare and was quite good but place had no atmosphere and staff were young and a bit clueless.

My father and I ordered the below and it was incredible....the quality of the meat was absolutely fabulous. I loved every mouthful... we tried a Kulcha Lasson (nan) for the first time and that was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this place. 👌 10/10!!!!
