Truly worth a visit, not far from Chatsworth caravan and motorhome club.

Lovely walk from Chatsworth to Edensor tea rooms, the 2024 addition of leche leche to the menu, an especially tasty treat!!

What a delightful place. My first visit today with my daughter in law. The service was excellent and the breakfast really lovely. Will definitely be visiting again very soon. Thank you.

The poached eggs here are probably in my top 3 and I've had a lot of poached eggs from many great places! 👏

A lovely place and delicious afternoon tea, but disappointed to be charged an extra £4.00 above our pre paid gift voucher due to an apparent price increase. I would have thought the price should have been fixed at the time of purchase.

What a fabulous tea room in the beautiful village of Edensor. We had lunch there today and it was delicious. The standard and presentation of food being served was very high and all looked delicious. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. It's dog friendly too which was good to see. Do pre book as it gets busy and you run the risk of not getting a table if you just turn up. This is a wonderful cafe on the Chatsworth Estate with beautiful surroundings.The food is good and the staff very helpful.I would definitely recommend a visit.

Brilliant breakfast - definitely wanted to go back for tea (cakes looked amazing) but too full. Lovely service. Plenty of vegetarian options. Dog friendly.

We all really enjoyed our festive afternoon tea again today. We had one last year which we thought was great but today’s was even tastier! We have been here many times and it never disappoints! Keep up the great work & Merry Christmas to you all!

This couldn't have been a cosier or more welcoming place on the first snowy day of the year. A roaring log burner, a great welcome, and lots of cosy nookd and crannies complete with blankets, Christmas crackers and really nice food.

Afternoon tea was fabulous again, beautiful selection of sandwiches scones and cakes with very nice coffee. Cosy atmosphere, attentive staff, lovely decor, picturesque setting. Highly recommend!

We arrived at 4.20, to be told they were closing at 5 (which we knew) and so they could only do coffees and cakes. I didn’t mind as we only wanted tea and scones, but for others who are expecting full kitchen service - beware you won’t get this towards the end of closing hours. Also beware that they will tell every single customer this for a whole hour, start wrapping up cakes in cling film from 4.30, and start sweeping the floor around you by 4.40. Honestly, if you close at 5 - close at 5 please. Don’t start preparing to close at 4 and make your paying customers - who are paying the same prices as those who came at 2pm - feel unwelcome by literally shutting up shop around them. Anyway - good tea and coffee. The scone was fine, not the best I’ve had. Far too big for a start, and the quantity of clotted cream for a scone that size was totally inadequate. Nice compote to go with it though. And before the business responds to say “oh you should have told us about the cream” - perhaps I would have, if the staff had not made it clear how desperate they were to go home! But really, the cream should be in proportion to the scone to begin with. Otherwise it’s just dry.

Lovely little tea shop for a mid-walk treat. Stopped off for a coffee and a scone and enjoyed it inside the tea shop itself. Additional covered seating was available outside. We've been here before and will definitely be back.

Love this place. Whenever we are at Chatsworth, we always walk to the tea rooms at Edensor. Beautiful food and drink and very dog friendly inside and out. Please don't ever change what you do it is great as it is.

Very busy when we went yesterday! Coffees were good and cakes but could not sit inside, we had to sit outside in the cold.

The best scone so far and I've tried a few. Home made jam and clotted cream

Lovely tearoom. Tasty scone. The tea is nice as well. But for the afternoon tea, it needs reservation 24 hours before. That is a bummer.

Excellent restaurant - definitely worth a visit! Dropped in for coffee and cake whilst out walking and enjoyed ourselves so much we returned for Autumnal afternoon tea! The quality of the food is excellent and the atmosphere warm and inviting. The team are efficient, friendly, helpful and attentive, making sure that we were well looked after. The restaurant is very popular so best to book, especially for weekend lunches to avoid disappointment.

Lovely lunchtime today helped by sunshine. Food really good. I have one observation. The young girl on the till didn't have a clue. She wasn't aware of the specials and seemed very confused. This led to a queue and some frustration. I would have thought it would be better to put someone with experience on the till. Service was slow but friendly.

Must be the cosiest place I've ever been in. We didn't eat, but the scones looked fabulous. The tea was good. The pretty grounds are great for a walk. Shame there's only one toilet. This is for baby changing too.

We had an absolutely wonderful Afternoon Tea and were able to sit outside in the amasing sunshine on the comfortable dining furniture. There was a lovely atmosphere and the staff were extremely friendly. The sandwiches, scones, cakes and biscuits were fresh, really tasty and beautifully presented and we were offered a box to take home a cheesecake that I was unable to complete due to the generous portion sizes ! The staff also told us about their Autumn Afternoon tea experience due to be realeased soon and we plan to return to sample this too and cant wait.

Quality breakfast ingredients from local farmers - proper leaf tea in a pot if you want it - definitely! Good staff and very nice courtyard area (that also doubles as a car park!) Dog friendly Recommended.

My food was delicious, beetroot cheesecake, my friends fish and chips were good but the lead were watery and tartare sauce not nice at all. Others enjoyed their food

Such a wonderful tea room in a beautiful setting, we popped in on the off chance and wow! We were made to feel so welcome even with our 5 dogs (4 in a pushchair) We had the walnut scones and fruit scones both were excellent and so fresh. I made the mistake of ordering two fruit scones and couldn't eat them as they were so big! Such lovely staff, so kind and helpful we felt really at home. We ordered fresh ham for the dogs and were taken aback because the chef had taken the time and effort to make the ham look like a dog... Thank you so much We will definitely be back again soon!

I have never been so disappointed in an afternoon tea. My daughter booked it for a Mother’s Day treat. The sandwiches although very tasty were merger , I would have though that the sandwiched would have at least added up to two slices of bread per person but no not even close. The staff were very attentive when you walked in but after they gave.the food you could not get their attention for love nor money, I am disabled and have difficulty with mobility so could not get up and just ask. I am afraid my daughter was disappointed as well.

Superb lunch stop whilst riding in the Peak District, very accommodating. The staff were delightful and nothing was too much trouble.

Delightful little teashop serving reasonably priced but very, very high quality food. Highly recommended for great value. Sadly the music was a little intrusive and not appropriate to the experience.

The takeaway hot chocolate with marshmallows keeps hands warm and tummy happy! Great staff and as good as it has always been.

A very welcoming small cafe near Chatsworth House. We just had a coffee and a snack which were very good and well priced. The staff were excellent

The Eggs Benedict are incredible and the staff are so friendly and helpful, and will do their very best to cater for my dietary requirements.
