Lovely environment, super friendly staff and the food is AH-Mazing!

Despite being understaffed for a Friday night, the service provided was personal and kind. The food was super and our family were well looked after. Sincere thanks to those working tonight for great service in spite of the pressure they were under. 💪💪💪

Visited Monday 5th February, seemed to be short staffed, but that doesn't excuse the cold food, slow service (30min waiting on food once seated) We won't be back, which is a shame!

We ordered our meals waited and waited asked one of the waiting staff if our meal was almost ready we were told the waitress had made a mistake in the order sat another 20 mins 3 tables who were seated after us were served food. We just cancelled the order and left. Never be back in Eddie Rockets. Service was appalling.

I Was in for food Eddie Rockets with my family..the place was very busy and only had one person serving tables. The lady was called Natasha she had excellent customer service she made it very enjoyable experience.

Always nice friendly staff. Food is very tasty, and service is prompt. Also kept very clean.

If I could give it one star. I would. This place is utter chaos. The manager couldn’t keep up with the amount of complaints. At one stage she went out for a smoke while someone was complaining to her. We waited an hour for our food. Our burgers were under the hot lamp for 25 minutes of that. They were cold. There was a member of staff bringing things to a table one item at a time instead of using a tray. No napkins. I’ll never visit an Eddie Rockets again.

It's really good , the food is amazing

I would rate it ZERO stars if I could. Service was rubbish and the food was COLD. The one in Drogheda is MUCH BETTER than this rubbish. We are never ever going back to this location. EVER.

A really lovely experience, the staff were very attentive and extremely pleasant... Very quirky, relaxed atmosphere. I brough my own food as I have dietary issues, this wasn't a problem, and my hubby and Son both thoroughly enjoyed their food 👍

Food was as good as any Eddie Rockets, but the service was awful. Having finished our food we spent 15 mins trying to flag a staff member to clear our table and order desserts for the table. We had even collected the dishes up, I was just short of taking them into the kitchen myself. I eventually got the server to stop and she very rudely told me to wait a minute and she will be back, she never came back. We ended up paying and leaving. It was not even that busy only about 25% of the tables/booths in use. I won’t be rushing back any time so.

Good burgers but staff could be friendlier, no interaction with the customer.

We came for breakfast on Saturday and were delighted with the decorations for Halloween, very fun and thematic. Service was fantastic and food was good. It’s a great example of a family friendly diner.

Place was filthy chicken was horrible my wife got the classic burger got sick when we went home to top it off there's no toilets a restaurant with no toilets avoid this place at all costs

It’s not the worst but could have been better Honestly it’s not that good of a place, and the only thing I really liked was the garlic and cheese fries

Had such a lovely experience. The staff is amazing and very friendly and does everything for the customers to have the best experience. The food is very delicious and fresh. Also it didn’t take too long to wait for the order, everything was organised very well. 100% recommend this place 😊

Good staff . Perfect food just overall amazing!

The vibe is nice. The food is not nice. The staff are passive aggressive and don’t listen to food orders! I will give you examples of my experience right this second; 1.) they messed up the order and were going to give my friend only the things that she asked NOT to have on her burger. She only wanted bacon and cheese and they wrote that she DID NOT was bacon and cheese. 2.) there was some kind of rice thing in the burger that near broke my other friends teeth. 3.) there was literally a bone in my sausage that put my right off my food. 4.) THE CHICKEN WAS PINK SO THAANK YOU FOR THE FOOD POISONING! Also there are no toilets or cutlery on the table! Do not come here

Long wait for lukewarm food. And got charged £1 for a little tub of gravy!

Hadn’t gone to Eddie Rockets in about 12 years after moving away from the one we frequented in Limerick. The service was friendly but took in total nearly 40 minutes to receive every thing we ordered. 2 shakes, a fries and a nachos. Hardly items that take that long to prepare. Milkshakes arrived after about 20 minutes they were a let down. In the glass it was almost room temperature or warm. Not the nostalgia kick I was looking forward to. Chips were cold and slightly soggy by nature of what happens to chips left to get cold. Almost like they were let sitting out instead of served fresh from fryer. Gravy in the pot had formed a skin(again I assume it was sitting out awhile before serving us.) Nachos were just OK. Was really looking forward to some hot crispy fries and fresh shakes. Major let down. Won’t be returning. Nothing like Eddies in Limerick City

When we arrived,nobody greeted us,the woman who brought the menus to our table didn't even say "Hello".We waited way too long for the food to come and one of the kids' order came even later,so our girl had to wait to start her lunch and she was starving.The food overall didn't meet the standard of any other Eddie Rocket's restaurants that we ate in before.

Poor service it took 15 miniuts to get serviced when we did it took 40 miniuts to give us our food and it was cold and thrown together with no effort whatsoever I would never go back here again…

Very poor food the worst hamburger and hot dog I eated Staff don't have any knowledge about the menu Fries are the same from Lidl just add some sauce The hot dog looks like from poundland and they sell it if was beef sausage... Don't worth at all the money Avoid waste your money here

Food nice but no malts available due to short staff

Every time my son and I come to the quays we always go to Eddie Rockets because they do the best milkshakes and burgers EVER according to my son!! So we highly recommend the oreo deluxe milkshake. Staff are always so friendly and food is always tasty.

Used to be one of my favourite places for the Nathan’s Bacon Big Boy and now it’s a smaller rubbish hotdog that I didn’t even finish, extremely disappointing DO NOT SWAP YOUR HIGH QUALITY FOR CHEAP RUBBISH

Worked in Eddie Rockets for 5 years and I'm still a customer! Was in Newry today. Staff were lovely, food was fresh, place was clean. Can't go wrong with an Eddie's meal.

Slow to be seated (not the only ones), when we weren't ready to order got a cheeky remark from the server, then proceeded to half an hour for a burger n fries and a club sandwich( which was pink instead) will not be returning

We were told a 20 minute wait "as they were busy"??? Place was nearly empty, we waited just over half hour (place was absolutely freezing) in the meantime other customers came in got seated and got served before us.....not impressed!!! They also give a vegan alternative to a chicken dish, but yet you can't stock Soy or Oat milk....I asked for grilled onions...I got fried and a teaspoon full if that..way overpriced for what it offers .

Scrumptious boneless wings I Frank’s Hot Sauce and perfect chips. Lovely staff, too. Eddie’s is consistently good in whichever branch.

Over priced but the food in fairness was delicious. Overworked staff took forever to seat us but I don't in any way blame them but rather the management. I wouldn't return specifically for that reason. The gentleman that served us was ran ragged doing multiple jobs at the same time. For what they charge for food one would certainly think they could afford adequate staffing especially at busy times.

Absolutely shocking food served,£9.95 for a burger with rock hard bun and burnt meat served on a side plate in a bag and £4 for a small bowl of fries which are just frozen with season shake on them.The server really had that most disgusting breath honestly I never smelt anything like it, the place is dirty and very slow service.I can honestly say i will never step inside this restaurant again just shocking.

If I could give zero stars I would. Multiple times we've order and every time it's been wrong with things left out. This time its the worst. No delivery and when I called, I had to speak to two different people, you could hear one of them arguing with the chef, the other argue with the delivery driver who said they knocked the door, which they didn't (also we have a door bell, why not use it?) when we asked to cancel, they said we could have to cancel through just eat, but that wouldn't give the option. He also said that the manager can't cancel/ refund as "her boss would kill her" I'm in total shock at the height of unprofessional and complete lack of customer service. No plan put in place to solve this situation. Will never order from them again.

I personally am shocked reading the reviews that were posted recently within the last month or so. The food is good without a doudt every single time. Always enjoyed, one waitress in particular always comes to us with a smile on her face, however I do feel more staff are needed as some staff look overworked and tired. Whoever the chefs are at the moment keep them ! Will be back soon !!

Awful. Eddie Rockets used to be a safe bet for eating out with kids. Now it isn't. Burnt, hard burgers, smaller than used to be. Chewy fries. Avoid.

I don’t usually post reviews unless the experience or service was exceptionally good or exceptionally poor.  Like so many people, I’ve called into loads of different Eddie Rockets restaurants over the years and I’ve come to know the general format and good level of service they provide. However, I’ve seen a major drop in service standards in the restaurant in The Quays in Newry. Without going into every single problem I experienced during my family meal, it’s safe to say, there’s a concerning set of issues between each of the teams, on the floor and in the kitchen. Unfortunately, the food isn’t quite as good as it once was, which isn’t helped when the staff aren’t exactly as well trained either. My enduring memory, will be of me, standing at the till, paying for the food before leaving, when the server is on their way to my table, with the remainder of the order they forgot about and to top it off, I was asked, why are you so angry looking?

Worst Eddie rockets ever !!! Cold food, long wait times and the place was not even that busy. My brother got food poisoning from them too. Save yourself the 30 quid a meal & a night on the loo and go somewhere else.

We waited over an hour for our food. I had the mixed vegetable sizzler and they forgot to put the vegetables in the dish. When I complained they brought the vegetables to me in a bowl, uncooked. Other members of our table also had issues; too many to list. Staff seemed lost and very unhelpful. Very expensive for really bad tasting food. Will never be back. Don't waste your money.

Update: left after an hour. Staff wanted our copy of the receipt, obviously didn't want it sent on. Staff member Laura prioritised getting her food sorted before going on a break. The previous reviews obviously didn't concern management as much as their responses suggest. Shockingly slow service without a smile. 50 minutes now and not holding my breath for food anytime soon. Tragic attempt at fast food, service. If it wasn't the only place open in the shopping centre, it would be empty

Friendly service - great food - good atmosphere

Over my last few visits the service has been terrible. Staff are clearly not trained and definitely do not want to be there. Today, when we asked for the ‘Daly Dish’ which was advertised at the door and on the table, the waitress told us she didn’t think the chef knew how to make it. My plain chicken fillet tasted like lemon, which it isn’t supposed to and the seasoning on the fries tasted disgusting. The bun on my burger tasted stale, or like it had been frozen and then defrosted 24 hours previous. Our food sat ready on the shelf in the kitchen for 5-10 minutes with staff just walking past as if it wasn’t there. Eventually a young man came out from the kitchen and brought it to us but just dumped everything on the table and walked off. It was one thing when the service was bad but the food was good, now neither are. Will not be back unless things change.

The place was almost empty and the waitress just kept walking past us didn't ask did we want to order drinks or anything, we was there over 20 minutes just waiting for her to come ask for our order. To top it off when another few customers came in the waitress seemed to know them and served them instantly. We just got up and left. The service is atrocious, I've never had the food out of there to comment on but I'd never go back knowing how bad the customer service is. The place was so miserable a smile wouldn't hurt :)

It had excellent service with great food and it was very quick all you could want in a restaurant.

Was left standing outside for 40 minutes with loads of tables free, only for one of the staff to come to a big queue to then say we have stopped taking orders. I know it can get busy but to not say anything to us for 40 minutes is ridiculous, would never go back

Terrible service. Waited near 20 minutes before someone took our order. Then waited another 25 minutes for food, whilst tables that came in after us were given their food before us. We didn't even get given drinks until 10 minutes after ordering. Food was OK, so that kind of made up for it. All in all... don't know if I will go back.

Food good ! Tried to use discount card but was refused. Staff advised they didn't know anything about being part of the scheme. Even headquarters don't know anything yet it is offered in all the stores in NI

Waited five minutes for staff to approach to seat us no hello nothing menus fired on table ordered a starter we had only just started to eat it and she comes with our mains I Said we not ready walks off and placed them under a light ..I eventually had to call someone to say cud he clear the table and bring us the food he was rude and threw his eyes up food came it was luke warm my goujon was pink inside to which the extremely rude waitress kept shouting it's vein it's vein a pink vein !!!!never again rudest staff food rotten overpriced . horrible experience

First time I tried an Eddie Rockets. Must say I was impressed. Chicken fillet burger meal (or whatever name it was given sfc I think) was a little on the expensive side but very tasty.

So disappointed,I regularly eat at newry franchise and up untill there was change in management I always enjoyed my experience, but today was terrible young waitress was very rude in seating us and proceeded to take orders form people who arrived after us and when I politely asked her would she take my order I was met with a condescending look and sure as an answer,while this is all going on the family next to us left as they have been ignored also . It's very expensive to eat out these days and when spending this amount of money I would like better service
