Eastern River in Craigavon

Went in for a portion of skinny noodles, was £4.70. Tasty, but not Michelin star tasty, still can't believe it, could have bought a full meal including noodles for 8 quid, and that's expensive.....maybe the war in Ukraine or Brexit has put a premium on noodles?

Worst chinese honestly I have ever eaten!! . Totally dissatisfied . Counter staff however was lovely

Ordered: 1x Special chow mein 1x Special fried rice 1x Sweet & sour chicken balls with gravy 1x Chicken chow mein. All above double sized takeaway trays. And a complimentary bag of prawn crackers. Total £31 Great price considering economic climate.

Been to several takeaways, this one is the best Chinese, the food its very Delicious, especially Taishan beef and salted chilli Chicken. and the stuff its very friendly. Definitely be back.

Had chichen with black bean sauce and chips from Eastern River and it was totally tasteless....the chips were dreadful also....will never be back, don't know how they could get it soooo wrong....this explains why there was no que at all at peak time on a Saturday evening!!!!

We had got good food from here a while ago but this time the food went straight in the bin after tasting it.Virtually nothing (or couldn't really tell what was in the spring rolls).Ribs had honey poured over them with a slice of lemon.(Thought they would have been roasted in honey and nice and crispy).As for the crispy shredded honey chili chicken and crispy chicken with szechuan sauce -nothing about them were crispy!Soggy more like with a bottle of bought sweet chili sauce and tasteless szechuan sauce poured over.Come on guys with the prices that you are charging at least give it a bit of taste with fresh herbs, garlic and vegetables.

Got the 14inc munch box. Excellent value for money and fantastic selection, would highly recommend, I will be back, my family and I are now pleasantly full.😁

Found a black hair in King Prawn Bamboo Shoots&WaterChestnut, it's disgusting. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Brilliant food; reasonable prices and always consistent good quality. Staff always welcoming and polite. Covid restrictions scrupulously observed. Everyone has their favourite Chinese restaurant. This is certainly mine 😊

Charging £8 for delivery is a disgrace, my mum was charged £8 for a delivery and when she questioned this on their fb page they called her to say that they were quoted the price from a taxi depot. This is the first I've heard of a Chinese delivery charging taxi prices. Not worth it.. Note.. any other Chinese in the same area charges £2-£3 normally to her address

I recently stopped by Eastern River carry out for a Beef Curry & Fried Rice. It was lovely! It had been over a year for no reason since I last eat here. Since I've been been back three times Salted Chilli King Prawns, Curries and BlackBeen green pepper dishes are lovely! Stephen & Jenny & their staff are great! Give it a go!

Usually consistent (had one takeaway on a Sunday which was far more greasy than usual) but speedy service and delicious food.

Nice food but found 2 hairs in two of our dishes absolutely disgusting will be skipping out next time.

Must be a new Chef didn't like this place for a long time then heard on the grapevine about the Curry. Ask for extra spicy extra mushroom and extra onion......OMG!!! £5.40 incl Rice plus a free can of drink. Do yourself a favour if your a curry lover :)

Great local Chinese with friendly staff. Have been going here many years and yet to receive a poor Takeaway. Great value for money and portions are massive. Their munch box is great value too, but their salted chilli chicken and curry are quality along with the usual orders we get.

Ordered from here after reading good reviews but did not see what all the fuss was about. Salted chilli chicken is much nicer from other chineses in Lurgan. Curry was nothing special. Fried rice seemed to have been re-fried. Only thing i really enjoyed was the spring rolls. Disappointing after reading the good reviews

Really did enjoy there 16" munchbox It did us for two day. You got that much in the box to eat. Will be back again for more.

Nice local Chinese. Staff very friendly and the food is always lovely. Chinese chips are always questionable sometimes nice sometimes soggy. But overall lovely

love this Chinese - honey chilli chicken is unreal!! I have a real sweet tooth so I love the sticky sweetness to this with a wee bit of heat after it! I live in Waringstown so can't always get to it but every now and then I gave in to the delivery charge cause its just to yummy to say no to!

Just started using it and I've decided to make it my number 1 Chinese restaurant

Terrible experience tonight. We ordered a honey chilli chicken and the sauce was horrible. This was supposed to be chilli with honey and all we could taste was honey. It was drowned in sticky honey only. It was very sickening and lack of any other taste. We did not enjoy and were very disappointed.

Always my go-to Chinese in Lurgan. Staff are very friendly. Polite on the telephone when making an order for delivery and arrives much quicker than others in the town.

Only visited it once but can say that the staff were great and the service was quick the portions are massive and one meal would probably do between 2 there are a large range of meal deals available and there seems to be something for everyone.limited parking as it is on a busy road although there was a small lay by close to it.

This Chinese has become our regular!! We have tried everywhere else but I keep coming back here. I ate here when it was originally opened as Poons but as the years when in the owners changed. Thankfully this didn't effect the food!! Both Jenny and Steven are great craic when you are in collecting!!Honey chilli chicken with fried rice and a gravy chip with an extra portion of gravy. Throw it all in the plate together. Sounds awful tastes amazing!!The reviews speak for themselves!!

got my first out of hear and a got to say the chicken fue young was to my liking , but the chips mmm a cud have started a riot with them and broke a landrover window , but will order again but with fried rice lol

This was our first visit to this Chinese and we had the chicken chop suey. It was hot,full of tender chicken and crunchy vegetables with just the right amount of sauce. Will definitely return...

Great wee takeaway, always pleasant staff, we usually telephone our order in and it is always ready on time, I like my Chinese food spicy and this certainly hits the spot, portions are generous, and the noodles are a meal on their own, great value for money too, I drive past three other Chinese takeaways to go here
