East Beach Kiosk in Chichester

A nice surprise. A very clean and smart kiosk with good seating. Were there for coffee and bacon butty. One of the best bacon butties i have ever had. Served wrapped and well presented..

East beach Selsey donut stall......Ordered 4 plain donuts, 2 with sugar and 2 without. Informed no can do!!! I asked why and how do they come thinking maybe the machine is programmed to drop 4 into the bag!!! NO she stated that she puts in the 4 donuts in the bag and Then sprinkles sugar on them, all manually. So I offered to pay for the extra bag so as not to have sugar on my 2, Was told this could not be done? Surely vendors have a duty to encourage healthier options, like coffee or tea without sugar etc . What is the cost to them, obviously losing 2 customers is a better option that using less sugar? When we told various friends ,......like us they could not believe it or fathom it out. Their loss.

Went with my grandchildren ,we had a lovely walk along the beautiful beach ,decided to get something to eat and drink ,I was made to feel I was taking to long to decide on what my 4 young grandchildren wanted,not at all friendly or approachable staff . Then food arrived and it was greasy and chips had a strange taste ,no sauces ,had to take food back for the girl behind counter to squeeze a tiny amount on chips ,hot chocolates drinks ok ,but all very expensive ,I thought for the poor quality for the money ,spoilt the day really ,because children didn't enjoy the food 😥lesson learnt .

Lots of choice and plenty of seating, or you can walk about 50 yards and eat/drink your purchases on sea front, there are lots of places to sit. Good value.

Good choice of different flavoured ice creams, only criticism I have is that the salted caramel regularly sells out!

Small food & drink kiosk set just back from the east beach promenade serving hot and cold drinks, selection of hot food (burgers, hot dogs, chips etc.), ice creams and sweets. Hot drinks seem to be provided via a machine and my coffee was only tepid. They offered to top up with hot water but I think that came from the same machine and was no better. They do fresh doughnuts which were great. There are a dozen outside picnic tables.

Visited today ordered two cappuccino they had no chocolate sprinkles on top when asked for chocolate sprinkles we where told they don’t put chocolate on cappuccino. The cappuccino was just like a cup of hot frothy Mil it didn’t even taste of coffee . Will we be going back No.

This is a little kiosk situated near the beach which is ok. There is a choice of some good & ice creams but it’s not a great place to sit and eat. There are some free toilets behind which we’re nice & clean and there is a bike park next door so you can sit outside with your coffee and watch the kids play. A convenient place rather than somewhere that I would specifically go to.

Called in while having a stroll along the front. A bit of a queue, but this quickly went down. Good controls in place. Quick efficient service and scrummy ice cream.

Much maligned little brother of West Witterings Beach & Bracklesham but as enjoyable for different reasons. This is a stony beach and also a working beach (although the fisherman work early and finish early, cables and boats are still in evidence so keep little ones away)! The simple pleasures of sitting on a beach, skimming stones and beachcombing keeps all entertained for hours and a very little cost as well. The car park is £1.70 for all day (try that in London, Brighton or Southampton)! The invariable ice cream / slushie / whatever is readily available at East Beach Café which has the added bonus of public toilets as well! Once all the stones have skimmed – you can walk along the sea defences / cycle if that’s your thing all the way upto Selsey RNLI (currently closed due to Covid) but another set of toilets next door for those who never want to go when the opportunity is offered, but 5 minutes later have the urge from wherever and HAVE TO GO NOW!! East Beach also has a fenced off play area for the little ones and a skate / bike park for the older ones so really everything is catered for here. For a little hidden gem, at the rear of the car park is the East Beach Pond – where you can enjoy being mugged for food by the ever present seagulls and try and feed the resident ducks without being mugged by the seagulls!

we visit the cafe this afternoon for the first time . we had one veggie burger cheese and onion and chips , one cheese burger and onions and chips and neither of them where burnt well done . as other places we have visited seem to burn the veggie burger. the owners where both helpful and polite and we recommend it as a good eating place . very clean and friendly . had to have a mr whippy and a magnum to finish off with as it was a lovely sunny afternoon . we shall return. Also very good value for money and good portion size . we shall return. once again many thanks .

Visited this place at least four times! Good quality food and didn't have to wait long. Priced as you would expect and always very friendly service. Had a range of food and drinks and each time was pleased.

Great food and coffee. Lovely sun trap and welcoming staff. Love this place. Recommend bacon rolls. Nice place to walk your dog. Kids bouncy castle and playground. Skate park next door for teenagers

Dropped in with my daughter for a drink and an ice cream for my grandson. Looked at the food options, but only limited options available, none apparently healthy - chips burgers etc. Ordered two coffees, Latte and Cappuccino from their drinks menu. Very disappointing result, both made in the paper cup from instant coffee and foamer powder. I looked at my daughter as we tasted the resulting drinks and we pulled the same grimace together. We both considered the drinks undrinkable and left them. . Such a great location and obvious potential for popularity and a shame the fare is so mediocre and drinks unpalatable. Can't recommend I'm afraid

Great beach kiosk could really do with more variety of food not just burgers and chips. Perhaps more healthy type foods too.

Excellent service,been there last few Saturdays for bacon roll after a walk,really friendly service and our dog loves the doggie ice cream

Love it here! East Beach is such a lovely part of Selsey it’s great having a Kiosk that serves nice hotdogs, chips, ice creams and various other fast food. Nice friendly staff - will go again....

great resonable priced food, drinks and ice creams best bit my kids love is the bouncy castles etc. only downside is the dog walkers who don't bother to clean up after their dogs

Great kiosk & great value in an great location near beach & next to kiddies play area. Will definitely be visiting here again next time I'm in the area!

Called in with my disabled friend and his pet chaihaua. Ordered tea and a coke. Tea was like gnats pee weak and milky. Yuk. Then the guy was incredibly rude because the dog was on the table. The decking had too wide gaps for The dog's small paws. This man needs a lesson in customer service. Disgraceful

Esta es una joya! Un montón de refrescos a un precio justo. Tiene buena música y bancos de picnic para comer afuera y algunos tienen sombrillas para salir el sol. Está cerca de la zona de juegos y parque de skate, tan práctica para mantener un ojo en el bambinos.

Cafetería snack justo frente al mar. Un montón de aperitivos diferentes y un nuevo área revestida para sentarse. En el verano el buen tiempo hay un bote inflable y este fin de semana se presentó en trampolín columpios parecía estupenda. Pruébalo, pero utilizar el aparcamiento que es muy buena relación calidad-precio y significa que podemos seguir financiando el entretenimiento y cuidado como los guardias de tráfico no son para darle un billete si no utilizar el aparcamiento. . . . . .

Un salto aquí durante el fin de semana santa y quedé muy impresionado con la selección de comida, bebidas y helados. Comida caliente de patatas fritas y hamburguesas a sándwiches y patatas de la chaqueta. También los helados eran excelentes. El Sr. máquina heladera era perfecto. En general bien merece una visita si estás en la zona.

We always visit Selsey in the summer the kids like to play on the swings and walk along the beach so we always stop at east beach kiosk for a drink or ice cream nice staff always friendly

Food was lovely, reasonably priced and prepared in a clean environment great choice of sauces to go with! you can sit on benches or walk and sit on the beach and watch the sea. Clean bins also provided for litter. The ice cream is amazing...

Autumn family day trip down to Selsey. East Beach isn't the most attractive of beaches maybe but it's fine for a stroll and we had a lovely family picnic sheltered by the breakers on the beach. Kiosk was great, friendly staff, wide range of food,...

Popped down to the east beach kiosk on the weekend with my family and what an amazing time we had delicious food served great selection of sweets and drinks and most importantly very helpful and friendly staff would recommend anyone to pop down and try...

Wouldn't even bother going here the chip are horrible the ice creams or not frozen , the sweets are sticky where there left in the sun , no good

Situado justo en frente de la playa de East Beach Car Park sirve todos los helados, té, café y algo de comida. Lugar perfecto para tomarse un respiro, mientras caminábamos por la orilla del mar. Cerca de pequeño ilumina que venden, cangrejo fresco, berberechos, palitos de cangrejo, whelks y mucho más. Amplia zona de juegos para los niños y un parque de skate. Los inodoros ubicados detrás del edificio principal. Personal amable y buen servicio, a precios razonables. ¡volveremos!

Located next to the kids play area and adjacent to both the car park and beach areas, this is a life saver (if you will excuse the pun) as not only serves the normal staples of hot drinks and ice creams, but also pub style snacks and any items of beach necessities that have been forgotten!! Also has toilets attached so that when the little ones (and big ones) are caught short on the beach, a saviour appears!! One tip though, you now have to pay to park in the East Beach car park - 20p for an hour or £1.50 for all day (shuts at 9pm I think). Reasonable but there are many other places around where parking is free off the yellow lines and only a short walk away!

Good place for. A cuppa and something to eat. And relax by the sea. Very nice.place to go friendly people that serve you. Well worth a visit.

For a beach Kiosk, this has a wide range of food - from burgers and chips, to Ice Cream and a load in between to choose from. Can't complain. It's open when a lot of Kiosks wouldn't be either, more than likely catering for the local populous, which is great. adjacent is a small area for skate boarders, and well, just kids to play in. Its a nice place for young parents to take their kids too for a little treat

great food, great prices excellent service, friendly staff and very clean and tidythe sell everything at a very good pricethe sell the best milkshakes in the south and a great choice of icecreamsit was nice to sit outside and let the kids play in the park which you can watch from outside and the park is great for kids very clean and tidylovely atmosphere would highly recommend
