Earthlings in Bolton

Although not Veggies we visited after hearing good reports from friends who are. I was quite surprised at the number of choices that I fancied, nothing I had eaten before. I plumped for the Mushroom and Chestnut bake, the excellent waitress told us after offering there would be a wait for the bake which was clearly being made fresh. Portions were adequate, not overly big, both our meals were very tasty. Deserts were top notch, I had the Tiramsu, nicer than many ice had in an Italian restaurant, my lovely partner had the Chocolate orange brownie which reported as delicious.. The staff were friendly and polite, a constant flow of customers testament to Earthlings popularity. Highly recommended, well worth a try for non Veggies if you fancy a change from your normal.

If you're vegan, easy to love this place. If you're not, it's still easy to love! It's very good, total contrast to your average beige/greasy meal (sorry pie and chip lovers this isn't one for you, unless you're having a day off) and simply nothing to compare it to locally (happy to be corrected on this one). Portion sizes mean you can always fit a cake in too! Bonus! As they (the cakes) are not to be missed. Again really different to anything you can get locally. 100% recommended.

Such a cute cafe. Atmosphere is so welcoming as are the servers. Varied menu and tasty. My blue matcha was heavenly! Note that lunch menu starts at 12. Come at 11:30 to make the best of both breakfast and lunch! 😅

Phenomenal lunch - fabulous flavours! Enjoyed the Earthlings Burger followed by a rhubarb and rose posset. (Other Half enjoyed the chilli with nachos). We both relished every bite! Calm and relaxing ambience, a perfect treat on our day off.

A fabulous cosy venue that serves the most exceptional food i have ever tasted, truly amazing! I cannot recommend this place enough, been a few times now and always made to feel very welcome the only problem is which dish on the menu to choose! Everything is of the highest quality, nutrient dense and organic. A real treat in every way.

Best food around veggie or otherwise. Quite sophisticated and there is no kids menu but the staff are lovely and helped put something together for our young one

Amazing food in an amazing venue. Brilliant selection of beautiful and aromatic dishes and drinks. Really friendly and comfortable environment with clearly talented staff. My new favourite place to eat. Massaman curry was to die for and the Tiramisu was dreamy. Will definately be going back as soon as possible. Thankyou!

My husband and I come here with our dog Pebbles on a weekly basis. The food, service, and atmosphere is always exceptional! The owners go out of their way to get to know each customer. Today is Pebbles’ birthday, and they surprised her with a birthday cake. 10/10, highly recommend!!

From the outside, Earthlings looks like a lovely little cafe - and it is - but it's so much more. Staff are always so cheery and friendly and there's always such a nice atmosphere. It simply isn't fair to class Earthlings as a 'cafe'. Though it does all the good things a café does, it produces high quality vegetarian dishes you'd normally only find in a high class restaurant. Dishes not only taste fantastic, they look stunning too (see photos). I had the Chestnut Bake and my wife had the Massaman Curry. Both were fantastic. I'd highly recommend the smoothies. I had the 'Good Vibrations' (Medjool dates and a whole host of other ingredients, including Coconut milk) and my wife had an Eco Warrior (too many ingredients to remember)! Very highly recommended. We love Earthlings.

Visited today for a Sunday lunch. We booked ahead for 5 of us, one being a wheelchair user and the other a toddler. Even though it is on the smaller side they accommodated for us very well. Great atmosphere, staff very friendly. Great choice of food and everything felt very good quality. One downside is the slightly higher cost - but I think this is justified given they don’t use refined sugar. I don’t think they charge a penny more than they should, it’s just it may be a surprise for some coming for the first time. Will definitely return. We aren’t local unfortunately, but happy to travel for this. Would be regulars if we lived in Bolton.

The food is absolutely delicious. Everytime we go, the wonderful staff treat us like we are special guests. It's such a treat to laugh with them, for our food intolerances to be treated with kindness and like no big deal. I highly recommend this friendly, comfortable, haven of a cafe.

Been in today for the first time with my partner who struggles to find vegan food, absolutely lovely place with a great menu. The food was delicious. We will be returning again 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

I went with a friend in the morning so we could have something to eat for breakfast and some lunch later. We brought our laptops so we can study a bit. However, when we asked for the Wi-Fi, we were told they don’t do Wi-Fi . They had the internet connection, but didn’t want to share the Wi-Fi? So we only had a mini tiramisu (like in a shot glass), a slice of banana and blueberry cake, a glass of golden milk and a cup of black americano and didn’t stay for lunch. We don’t know how we ended up paying £18.5 for 2 drinks, a slice of cake and a “shot” tiramisu and we were not even able to use the Wi-Fi when we would also have had lunch… It’s such a shame because there are not many vegan cafes. So disappointing.

First time at Earthlings for me and my friend, what an amazing experience 😀. The food is tasty and delightful and the presentation is a work of art. This is the best food I have ever eaten anywhere, and I am not even vegetarian! And delicious smoothie to drink. So healthy and nutritious too. Lovely atmosphere, clean everywhere, warm and friendly service, and the chef who made our meals brought them out to us, which was lovely to hear his pride. I wish I lived nearer, I would go every day.

My sister booked a table for breakfast on Saturday morning for my mum to take my nephew out for his 16th birthday. Living in Cornwall, I’d never visited Earthlings before. I can honestly say, without reservation, that I had the tastiest, most interesting breakfast I’ve ever had in 44 years. My mum (79), and my nephew (16), also loved their breakfasts. The service was exceptional, with the staff bringing out a complimentary birthday blueberry cake for my nephew, with a candle, all singing Happy Birthday. I was thrilled that Agnes the Labrador was also welcome; she loved it too, and was welcomed with open arms. The food, drinks, service, prices and atmosphere were sublime. Thank you all. A proper northern welcome back to my hometown, and a perfect highlight of a lovely weekend!

Best vegan restaurant in Greater Manchester. Friendly staff. Each dish we had was a celebration of its ingredients - not just deep fried stuff.

This is my absolute favourite place to eat! From the owners and staff to the outstanding food you can not beat it. The care, attention to detail and the love that goes into the food here it what makes it just sublime. I can highly recommend everything on the menu. There are such intense and delicious flavours in every bite. When we eat at Earthlings it feels like eating with family the owners and staff are so friendly and warm. I can not recommend Earthlings highly enough!

Earthlings is a hidden gem! It is beautifully decorated and the food is fantastic! I popped in for lunch on a Friday - it was busy but I managed to get a table. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I had the superfood wrap and sweet potato fries - the food was freshly cooked and arrived beautifully presented. I was too full to try dessert but I will be back!

So glad to have this on our doorstep. never disappoints and food so yummy. The menu is changed but they keep the old favs. Good for Brunch, lunch or afternoon cake. You can feel the love in the food

It's been a while since we've been there but we must go more often. My wife had Avocado and Mushroom on toasted Sourdough Bread and I had a Super food Wrap - both were delicious (see photos). There's so much to both these dishes - not only were they delicious but they looked great too. So much packed onto each plate. I had a cold drink with Kiwi, Lime and Mint and my wife had a hot drink with Oat Milk and Turmeric. Highly Recommended.

Anniversary treat This is our second visit to Earthlings the soup of day was very nice but the sourdough rye bread to go with it was poor as I prefer more of a crusty bread I had the curry for my main meal again it was ok the black rice was slightly hard but the rest was nice my wife had the rainbow burger what was very nice for the dessert we shared a lime cheeze cake and a banoffe muffin I just think the muffin was expensive for what was on offer over all the experience was good and I recommend the place

By far the best cafe in throughout Bromley Cross, Egerton and Sharples area. The food is fresh and home made, which really makes a change for this area such a pleasant experience with well mannered staff. Very busy whenever I visit and the service is always first class.

We went for lunch after hearing about this place on Facebook and from a friend and I have to say we were not disappointed. The place is lovely, really welcoming and warm. The menu is full of interesting and original food, not your normal ‘vegan’ menu items and each one sounded ( and indeed looked as they came out of the kitchen) fantastic. I chose the Christmas Ciabatta with a side of roast potatoes and I must say, absolutely delicious. We had two mains, both of which were delicious followed by a lovely cheesecake and a tiramisu, both to die for. It’s not often you see a menu with 8 vegan and gluten free sweets on it, but we did here. The drinks were delicious and the staff were so attentive and friendly, the whole experience was brilliant. If you are a vegan who enjoys organic, plant based food freshly prepared and served with a smile then you need to visit this place. If you aren’t a vegan then try it, you will love it, I certainly did and we will be going again. Fantastic.

If you are in the Bolton or Manchester area and want the best plant based or vegan food, then call in here. The food is so good and even if you are not plant based, you would love their food and service. The Tiramisu is the best I have ever tasted!

I've been to eat here a few times now and each time I have been thoroughly impressed. Vegan heaven. Great menu with an exciting variety in food and drink choices, really lovely and helpful staff and the owner is extremely knowledgable in all things health and wellbeing. Everything is made with love. Couldn't ask for anything more, I will definitely be back. Thank you. P.S I have never been to a restaurant before that has such clean skirting boards...this is a good sign!

What a fabulous little find. The choices on the menu were so vast, just couldn't decide what to have! The food was delicious, the staff are so lovely and the place has a lovely calm decor. Thank you for creating this business. I'm so grateful to have places like this to visit.

What a Lovely, refreshing change to have a nice and healthy cafe around. The food was very fresh and tasty, and added bonus that it was all healthy. All clean inside too.

Well, that's what it says on the front, but it's so much more. Whether you're vegetarian or not, all their meat-free dishes are delicious. Everything is made on the premises. There were 3 of us. To drink, we had Wild Berry Smoothie with Coconut Milk...

Lovely little eatery, with a relaxed vibe, great service and tasty food. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the place was clean and nicely presented.

A lovely environment to enjoy food and very accommodating staff. My body thanked me for eating their Nourish Bowl. Loads of goodness. The only thing that I would say is that both Chai Latte, and Matcha Tea are both £4. For a not very large cup. And having two cups makes £8 very steep.

Someone knows what they're doing! It's a cafe serving lunch, so it's not trying to be too flash. The food was lunchish(!) - combinations of flavours that were delicate, without being bland, and with lightness and a hint of freshness. There was background music, not too loud, and the staff friendly - all things combining into a harmonious experience. There was no 'this is amazing' about it - but it had a 'just right' vibe that was pleasing and made the trek, from the wrong side of Manchester, worthwhile. I'll be back.

Vegan food ...delicious...spoiled for choice !!

Spur of the moment ended us up at Earthlings, just in time for breakfast menu. Ended up picking the Earthling's breakfast which was spectacular. should have took note what was included but everything was flavoursome. Reception and feeling of the place was very nice. Highly recommended 🌍

The menu is overpriced for what it is. By slightly lowering the prices there is surely still scope to make a profit without being greedy and taking advantage of people who dine there. The food is average and does not warrant the price tag that...

Truly scrumptious......from the initial adhock phone call to the greeting on arrival to the food absolutely 5 star. Such an imaginative menu and frothing with fresh ingredients and flavour. Staff polite and attentive with a positive hum to the atmosphere. A tiny gem discovered via...

What a gem! Visited for brunch and had a lovely meal: a chestnut casserole dish with red cabbage slaw and broccoli (gluten-free). Very tasty. Followed by the cake of the day, a gluten-free warm oat slice with oat cream. Delicious. My dog came too and enjoyed some special doggie biscuits. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very busy, very friendly, extremely tasty, well presented food. Beautiful decor, dog friendly, accomidates pets with bowls of fresh water. All vegan and an amazing selection of delicious dishes. Regularly cleaned toilet with great products inside. Was treated to a birthday meal here and had a very good experience which I would definitely recommend to anyone who is either vegan or considering it.

Such an amazing find! Very friendly staff, beautiful place and wonderful atmosphere. Relaxed place with a large menu and awesome vegan options. Their daily specials are too die for and they have some great teas and coffees too! Try their smoothies while you're there too! They were the best smoothies I ever had! We've found it while looking for some vegetarian options around Bolton and loved it so much we came back the next day! Put it down on your list! You won't regret it 😋😋😋

You know what it’s like when you don’t want to visit your favourite restaurant too often or watch your favourite movie regularly in fear it ever becoming less of a big deal to you ? Yeah. That’s how I feel about this place. I would and could eat here every day, but just so I don’t spoil it for myself, I will be spacing out my visits. Fantastic place.

the staff are friendly and helpful. The food is fresh and healthy and we enjoyed it. You wouldn't know it was at the side of the road with the little terrace area they've created out front.

Location outside was very nice and with a nice weather we couldn't ask for more. The service was good and friendly. We ordered a sausage sandwich, an avocado sandwich and even though they were tasty, we thought that it was a little bit expensive. Will we go back again? Yes sure.

I've been an Earthlings customer for years now and Hilary & the team have had such a huge impact on my mental & physical health! So much love and care is put into making this place a healing health hub. After suffering with a chronic illness for years & having multiple surgeries I started an anti-inflammatory "diet" which was difficult to begin with but is now a lifestyle. Finding Earthlings was a blessing as not only is the food so fresh, good for you & high vibe, Hilary has always given me so much advice and helped me to stay motivated on my health journey! There's no other place like this around, it's literally my "pick me up" space and always makes me feel good. The food is AMAZING!!! My favourites are the cashew mushroom avo on toast, buddha bowls, veggie burger, homemade chilli jam, charcoal latte, healthy hot choc, and all of the desserts which I could live off :) thank you Earthlings for everything, being able to get take out during lock down has kept me going and I can't wait to visit more often in 2021!

I can only say that this was the most delicious food in a very clean and well maintained establishment. The management and staff are to be commended on their attitude and professionalism. We were lucky enough to meet the owner and chef and to have time to discuss the variety of food options from the menu. Thank you Earthlings. Five stars.

Just visited my most favourite place to eat. Once again the most fantastic of food offered and served with a smile of confidence by staff who are both pleasant and knowledgeable. The food is excellent every time I go to eat here at this family run business, Although affected opening times by government ruling, and needing to eat in my car, the enthusiasm by by the chef to provide good quality food with a taste of the exotic never wains. Ordered 3 dishes, the Tempeh bagel, sosage sandwich and the avocado toast. They were all stand out breakfast dishes, very tasty and we'll seasoned. Fast service and a calm and neutral setting. If this was closer to my home, I could safely say I would be visiting every week.

Really cute café with lots to choose from, loads of plant based options available and there were people of all ages in when we went. The food was incredible and the staff were really sweet and considerate. Will definitely go again. If you're vegan, it's worth ticking this one off on your list of places to support 🌱💪🏻

Lovely to be back. I phoned ahead and booked a table. The food was beautifully presented, as always, delicious and healthy too. I had the Summer Salad and a super green smoothie. Would highly recommend this little gem of a place. There are tables where you can eat outside too, and there's a takeaway service. Parking is limited. We were able to park outside the chippy. There is a Co-op across the road or plenty of side streets.

This is a lovely little family cafe that serves up restaurant standard food. We had the Sunday lunch and it was fabulous. All the ingredients is well sourced and fresh with a lot of love and care going into the cooking and presentation. Despite being full we couldn't resist trying the desserts..... superb! All the staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. Great selection of healthy drinks. Looking forward to returning.

Really enjoyed our first visit here today. Healthy, organic food and interesting menu. The portions are on the small side but beautifully presented. The only reason I have not awarded five stars is because it’s expensive, so although I would definitely return it couldn’t be too often!
